I reserved a car while our car was in the shop. Insurance had set it up. The day ended up being the wrong day. I called and told them it would be another day. After we dropped our car off at the dealership I called this Enterprise. I was told they had no reservation and they didn't have any cars available anyway. I mentioned to her we did not have a car. That I had a doc appointment that afternoon. She said I can't do anything. I was so frustrated. She didn't care and blew me off. I looked up another enterprise. Wow was I surprised. They accommodated us and were so kind and polite. I told him first about our situation previously. He also had said he didn't have a car either, then he immediately changed his mind and said we are all about customer service so I can help you. They picked us up at the dealership. My mother needed to rent a car in order to drive to the airport. She made a reservation WEEKS ago and then they had no car for her. The people we talked to on the phone were incredibly rude and did not care one bit about the predicament we are in. We finally were able to get a car and when we arrived the employees inside were also INCREDIBLY rude. Then we couldn't even get a car due to some stupid policy that we were never informed of. i will start with the positive. I appreciated the fact that they picked me up from where I dropped of my car and brought me over to their location. That was nice. However, I have dealt with them 2 times over the last month. my car was unfortunately rear ended one time and then had a hit and run done on it another. the first time a reservation was made 3 weeks to a month in advance. the car insurance said they would pay for a large suv, however they only gave me a small or mid size. When I went to pick up the car I was really disappointed and not happy. my kids are very tall with my son being 6 foot 7. and I frequently haul around kids friends as well. the car I was given would seat 4 (maybe 5 if they were small). my son was too tall for the car and my husband who is a little bigger guy didn't really fit either. they told me they would get me into something else within a couple of days. however that time never came. I called back multiple times and they were not ever able to help me. finally 2 days before my car was about to be returned they called me to tell me they had something. this was like 11-12 days into my rental with them. I told them at that point why bother. they offered me a 25 percent off my next rental because I was highly dissatisfied. I said "ok". however I rarely go anywhere that I would be renting a car so really this doesn't mean much to me. the day after I got my car back, someone did a hit and run on it. I made an appointment for it with the body shop. this was scheduled for 3 to 4 weeks out. a rental reservation was once again made. when I went to pick up the vehicle. I again told them what they were offering me was TOO SMALL I showed them an example of what I wanted on their lot but they didn't have anything available. the guy checking me out and the manager assured me they would call me in a day or 2 and get me into something bigger. 8 days later and they never once bothered to call me. I returned the rental today. they apologized and made up an excuse about why they didn't call. Pretty much over it. they don't care what their customers want as long as they get their money that is all that matters. If I ever need a rental car service again I will not be using enterprise at this location. I will probably use another company altogether as I am pretty turned off and disgusted with my whole experience with them. read more

We had a terrible experience with Enterprise. My mom booked our rental car over 1 month from the date we needed to pick it up for our family vacation. She was then contacted 3 hours before picking up our rental car to confirm our reservation. During this phone call, we were informed that we were unable to use the promo code we were provided. Additionally, during this phone call, customer service was sub-par, leaving us feeling rushed off the phone and as though the representative did not care about the inconvenient situation we were put into. Having not prepared to budget for the car increasing by $300 and with only 3 hours until we needed the car, I was forced to put it on my credit card, adding an additional $200 due to being under 25 years old. That's not to mention all the other fees and deposit putting us over $1000 from what we had planned to budget for the rental car. Secondly, on the way to return the car, we called to inform them that we would be 30 mins late from our confirmed return time. However, we were on hold for 25 minutes and a representative did not answer the phone. When we arrived, we were shocked to see 5 representatives sitting at their desks after not talking to one on the phone. We were grateful for Logan who waived the late return fee for us as this was the first instance of quality customer service and empathy that we experienced with Enterprise. Overall, we recommend considering another rental car company in Fort Collins as we will be doing the same. read more

Progressive Insurance set me up with enterprise here in ft Collins as someone hit my car and i had to leave it to repair. On the surface they were super nice, calling, following up, friendly, etc. When I got there they made a huge deal about inspecting the car. Ben and Megan spent like 10 minutes looking at every dent you could possibly see from every angle. I went in and signed the paperwork without reading it. Yes shame on me. It turns out they didn't write down one single damage that they pointed out. When I turned in the car, the dents that were there before from hail damage got billed to me. Thanks, Ben and Megan. Despite the overall low reviews and the dissatisfied tone of the reviews for this location, the service was within tolerable times, as long as as there's no hurry to book. I rented a car because I sold mine and this location is in walking distance from my home. I was relatively pleased with the rental although the process is never as easy as renting at an airport. I ended up buying a car the same day at a local dealership and was able to have the car picked up at the dealership. I was told I would receive a refund within 48 hours. 48 hours later I did not have a refund so I called. The woman who helped me was awesome and got me the refund within a 48 hour timeframe. I am not a fan of customer service (this time a refund) not being processed as promised. read more

I needed a rental car that was getting worked on. It was hard trying to get this set up with my insurance company, long story short found out they closed it before the agreement, but I received a phone call from enterprise about a pickup time for the car. I was happy with that. On the phone a mentioned I was wanting a small car, but they only told me they had one car. This car ended up being a Mid-size SUV, a horrible one, that did not work correctly(found out this because there were tools just hanging out in the engine later on), and the representative did not inform me I could get a different car, I thought I was stuck with the garbage car. I signed the rental agreement under the opinion that it would just be $50 dollars. After I signed I was informed that I was just getting a discounted rate. I finally was able to get a hold of the insurance company which stated they were unaware of this. They said they would get everything is taken care of, even an email. So I was expecting a full refund. I get a call from Pepper who ended up being extremely rude. She stated only $200 would be refunded. I told her that is not correct. I told her about the issues. I also told her I don't trust companies because a lot of them are skimming costs to earn a profit. She was upset about this, I decided to hang up because I had to go. I called my insurance company who informed me that some set up a request for a mid-size SUV. I told them no. I have the paper trail to prove I did not make any requests. They called Enterprise, in which Pepper berated me, yelled at me, interrupted me, when I was making the point that I specifically asked for a smaller car, and at no point was I informed I could switch vehicles. This was while the insurance company was on. Insurance tried to talk with Pepper but she hung up. Update: they did fully refund me. However I had to jump through way to many hoops with a ton of issues including a lack of communication on their end. read more

I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ENTERPRISE AGAIN!!!! My mother recently was the victim of a hit and run auto accident and her insurance company sent the car to a local auto body dealership in town to be fixed -- and set us up with Enterprise in Fort Collins for our rental car, while repairs were done to her car. This afternoon, the auto body dealership told my mother to pick her car up and leave her Enterprise rental car with them. When we arrived, they informed us that Christian at Enterprise told them that Enterprise was unable to come pick Mom's rental car up from the dealership becaue they were short-staffed and had people on lunch breaks. (Keep in mind, they originally delivered the rental car to this same auto body dealership for my mother to pick up.). Further, Christian informed us that eventhough it was THEIR fault that they wouldn't be able to pick up the rental from the dealership for at least two hours, that MY MOM was responsible for any damage to the car during that time that it sat in the dealership lot. They mentioned hail, as an example. If it hailed during that two-hour window when THEY were unable to pick the car up, and there was damage to their vehicle MY MOM would incur any and all expense for that damage!!!!!!! So, in essence my Mom has turned in the keys to the Enterprise rental car with the body shop dealership, per the agreement. She drives off with her car that has been fixed at the dealership -- but anything that happens to the rental after she is gone is HER FAULT! Are you kidding me? I have never heard of anything as ridiculous as this!! Scam artisits at their finest, looking to nickel and dime customers at every corner. Buh-bye! I was fradulently charged for hail damage. I returned the car without any damage on June 16. On June 20th there was a severe hail storm in Fort Collins. On June 21st, I received bills for nearly $1,400 for hail damage. If you are a rental car business on the Colorado front range, you need a covered parking lot. Rented a car for a day from this location. They were very busy and did not do a walk around with me. I returned the car after hours and unfortunately did not take photos of it. I did not have an accident but they are claiming I did. I felt pressured to buy the $20 coverage from them and they say this will cover the damage and they will close the case. However, this leads me to wonder why they pushed this insurance on me and how magically a month after I returned the car I receive notice of damage. Especially when they called a week after I rented the car to say all was well and to ask about my experience. The worst car rent experience in my life. We booked a car for one way drive in Colorado, the Enterprise sent us an email with a confirmation number saying that our reservation is confirmed. Just out of curiosity we decided to call Enterprise and ask will have a car "for sure", when Shanique answered on the "monitored and recorded" call she confirmed that we will have a car when we will arrive to the pick up point. But then my husband asked to call one more time just to be sure. And this is when things got weird: the guy named Mike told me that he will not have a car on that time, I was angry asking why they sent an email saying that the car is confirmed and then why his colleague said that the car for sure will be ready for us, when Mike said that this girl probably was from the call office and these people have no idea about what's going on at the office. When I asked what should we do now and why nobody called us or sent an email about the situation, he said that he was saying to the "higher office" to fix this thing and not let people book if they are out of cars, but nobody listened to him. We ended up renting car from Budget - the service there on the high level everything is perfect. Do not spend a minute of your time to even consider renting Enterprise car rent. I reserved a car from another enterprise and when the day came to pick it up they called and said they didn't have any cars left. I called several locations and this one said they had a car for me and I could pick up that day. When I arrived I was greeted by a nice girl named Jackie, she apologized for the inconvenience even though it wasn't her fault. She got me all set up with a car and had me out of there quickly. I made a reservation for an suv 3+ weeks ago. When we arrived and did all the paperwork they didnt tell us they didnt have any available suv until they were giving us the keys of a crappy impala. We asked what happend and they didnt even care or move a finger to offer us any kind of solution. The impala really didnt fit with the whole purpose of our trip but had to take it bc we had no other option. They didn't even mention anything about the difference of price of the two cars until we brought it up. Not wanting to be an imposition on my family whom I was visiting I decided to rent a car for the week. I was able to reserve the car online and have it waiting for me when I got there. The staff are all very friendly and efficient and the whole process was extremely fast. Upon return, the associate (Kyle) noticed I had overfilled the car and was able to give me a discount on the spot so I wasn't overpaying. I drove a Chevy HHR. This is their base model car. I rented a car online (through Expedia) for a family trip on Labor day. I received an email confirming it and providing the reservation number. On Sept 4th I went to pick up the car at the time I had previously informed and the car rental office was closed. I called the central number and the attendant told me they probably figured out the office schedule shortly before the holiday - like if it would justify anything! - and told me I would have to go to the airport to pick up a car - again like if it was a reasonable solution! I live 70 miles away from the airport and if I had a car to go there I would not be trying to rent a car! Realizing that we'd not be able to make it that early, we tried changing (modifying) the reservation to make our pick-up a little later. For some reason, we weren't able to change the time, but didn't think it was that important. We got to Enterprise at 8:40 and were told that not only had they given our reserved car away, that there were no cars...PERIOD. The girl who was helping us (and we were clearly upset) kept saying, "OK", but seriously nobody was doing anything to help the situation. They said there were no cars. My Update on Yelp 10/29/2014 ======================== What's happened so far: 1. I reviewed Enterprise Car Rental on Yelp to show my intense dissatisfaction with their customer service, 10/17/2014. See below. 2. Enterprise responded on Yelp and gave me a case number. Here's their response to the Yelp review, dated 10/21/2014: "We strive for customer satisfaction ... please e-mail care@enterprise.com ... and we can look into this further as well as pass your nformation onto the Fort Collins' upper management..." 3. On 10/20/2014 I responded to that via email (and posted the email to Yelp on 10/22/2014 the next day), pointing out that Enterprise only responded to my (multiple) pleas for assistance after I gave them a horrible review on Yelp. 4. Enterprise responded via email 10/21/2014: "I want to get your information into the hands of someone who can help you with this... I have requested that an Area Manager ... contact you...". 5. They also updated their Yelp response on 10/23/2014. More lip service: "We are here to help, Gary! If you would like us to check on the status of your concern for you, please email us at care@Enterprise.com..." 6. It is now 10/29/2014 and the area manager from Enterprise STILL has not responded. Enterprise hasn't explained what happened, apologized for it, explained why OTHER customers shouldn't expect the same treatment from Enterprise, told me what they've changed to prevent the same problem in the future, nor offered me any compensation for my time, discomfort, monetary outlay, and effort, or any inducement whatsoever to continue as an Enterprise customer. 7. I sent an email to Enterprise corp telling them the Ft. Collins people never called back and that I'm giving up. Confirmed reservations at Enterprise don't mean shit. Says it all, doesn't it? I called the Enterprise office to inform them I was late but on my way; it was Sunday and they close at noon. They said that if I was there after noon they would be closed; no one could wait. I waited for them to call me back, they said they could not find a vehicle unless I wanted to go back to the airport in Denver! I bummed a ride to Steamboat, and in Steamboat got a vehicle from Enterprise at no charge to make up for leaving me stranded and without a car to get to Steamboat. I received my credit card bill, and found Enterprise had charged me for the rental. I contacted Enterprise; they said that they had no record that the rental was no-charge. I disputed it on my credit card; sent them a copy of the rental paperwork (which clearly stated it was a comp rental). They forwarded it to Enterprise; Enterprise finally issued the refund. I used Expedia.com to rent a car. I lended in Fort Collins and went directly to Enterprise at the airport. They did not have the car I rented so they offered me a bigger one for $1 more per day.The car was dirty and with only half tank of gas. I returned the car the next day. When I was back home I checked my credit card and to my surprise Enterprise charge me $103 more than the orginal price.After 5 calls in 3 days the Manager told me they charged me one extra day and someway somehow they added insurance to my rental. I got the money back,but would sugest to check your statement after dealing with Enterprise read more
