This was a great hotel for the price. We stayed for the nights. Check-in was quick and easy…read more Breakfast was great. Not just a continental. Cindy was friendly and efficient. The pool was good but a little dingy (that's what the 4 stars are for, otherwise it would be five).

Very disappointing and, honestly, bizarre stay…read more I booked this hotel specifically because it advertised bathtubs. I was traveling with my neurodivergent 5-year-old, who has a strong aversion to showers, so I even called ahead to confirm we'd have a bathtub. We were assured we would. That night, the tub wouldn't hold water. I called and was told we'd be moved, so I packed everything up. Then I was told there wasn't another room--and that none of the tubs hold water because of flooding liability. I asked if I needed a refund to find another hotel. After speaking with the manager, I was offered a suite with a working tub, but my son had fallen asleep, so we stayed put and planned to move the next day. The next day, after packing everything up again, I was told maintenance had fixed our original tub. So apparently it went from "none of the tubs work because of liability" to "maintenance fixed yours." The tub did hold water, but slowly drained the entire time. I unpacked for a third time in 24 hours. The first couple nights I also developed unexplained bites on my feet/ankles. They didn't look like bedbugs, and my son, who slept in a different bed, had none. I stopped getting new bites after housekeeping changed the sheets, so my only thought was maybe a stray flea? But the most concerning issue was this: after housekeeping came through, my 5-year-old found a very runny pink liquid in an old capless dish-soap bottle and wanted to pour it into the tub to make bubbles. I never would have thought to search a hotel room for cleaning products. Thankfully, I caught him. I brought it to the manager, who said it was soap, despite it not being a dish-soap consistency. It was as runny as water. Maybe it was. And that's the problem. If it really was simply soap, why does the bathroom mirror says the hotel uses hospital-grade cleaning products to disinfect the rooms. So naturally, when my child finds a liquid product in a repurposed bottle left behind by housekeeping, I'm going to assume it's the product they claim to use to clean the rooms. Was it actually the soap I was told it was? Was it a cleaning solution? I don't know. I don't really care. I shouldn't have to be able to identify an unknown liquid in order to know whether my child is safe in a hotel room. It was negligent. Final 2 complaints: The room had Doritos crumbs on the floor when we arrived and smelled damp/musty throughout our stay. There was also the issue of the hotel's advertised "guaranteed lowest price." When I was searching for another hotel that night because of the bathtub situation. I found that the sold this same hotel room for over $10 less per night. So that guarantee didn't exactly feel like a guarantee. None of the guarantees did. Staff were never rude, and breakfast was decent, but the contradictions, cleanliness issues and housekeeping concerns were enough. I'm back in the area next month and won't be staying here again. The bathtub situation was frustrating. Finding an uncapped, unidentified liquid in a repurposed bottle within my 5-year-old's reach was unacceptable.

On our first night, I moved the couch and found dog food and pet hair on the floor. We reported it to the front desk, and they apologized, saying they would clean everything the next morning. They also told us that rooms are supposed to be deep cleaned after a pet has stayed there and weren't sure how this had been missed. During our stay, my daughter developed a small rash on her leg. I can't say for certain what caused it, but it was concerning given the pet hair and dog food left in the room. We also dealt with an ant problem throughout our entire stay. When we brought it up, it felt like the staff blamed us because we had kids and food in the room. While we understand that food can attract ants, we expect a hotel room to be clean and free of pest issues when guests check in. Overall, the staff was polite, but the cleanliness and pest issues made what should have been an enjoyable trip much more stressful. I hope the hotel takes these concerns seriously and improves its cleaning standards for future guests.
