I was involved in a classic Milwaukee hit and run which is so common place now that I needed to take my damaged car to the collision center to get repairs but I needed a car to get around. The collision center gave me the number to enterprise so I called to scheduled a time to get picked at the collision center after dropping off my damaged car. I have done this before several times at other locations and they were not ever close to my pick up time so I didn't expect much and to my amazement right at 11am enterprise was looking for me, RIGHT ON. The process was very smooth and easy and I was on my way in about 15 minutes and they were super nice and I got an email and a phone call to make sure everything was to high standards and that I was completely satisfied with my experience, I was. I asked for the cheapest car because I just needed to get to work and home and I was given an upgrade to a slightly better tin can but when I rented the car they gave me another up grade to a decent Nissan Altima to my surprise at no extra charge. This part is very important, if you have a visa credit card and rent the car with that card the whole cash value of the car is covered if you decline enterprise coverage at an extra charge. The car is covered up to complete cash value of the car for any damage or theft of the vehicle so you don't have to use your insurance and risk a rate Increase if the car is damaged, destroyed or stolen BUT you still need your insurance if your injure someone or damage a vehicle in an accident. The bottom line is that this location has been the best rental car experience that I have ever had and the personal after call was very cool. read more

Always used Enterprise when I needed a car. Never again. I was told at the last minute (as we were driving into the parking lot) that I couldn't get the car I wanted or anything that size (like a Subaru Forester). Instead of what I thought I was getting I was given the "only thing" they had -- a tiny Chevy Trax. A tin can with an engine. I had no choice even though there should have been a larger car at the airport (for example) which is close by an Enterprise office. The difference in weight and handling led to an accident. I have never had an accident where I was at fault. Nobody got hurt. Nothing but the car. Glad for that. I believe that the expense and my time dealing with this all was because the response of the little car was unexpected. read more

Overview - In the short time I spent here returning a vehicle, I had a wonderful experience! Customer Service 4.5/5 I only returned a rental to this location and so was only here for maybe 5 minutes. The employee helping me was super friendly and we had a fun conversation about his Captain America tie clip. Nice and easy to work with! The parking lot is super small. We almost got parked in one of their parking spots and it wasn't the other person's fault, just no room to park! read more

This outfit is an extortion racket. My girlfriend rented a Nissan SUV and upon return, we were told the vehicle had damage and we were extorted out of $700 because we were told there were 'scratches' on the vehicle. We rented another vehicle while we waited for our car to be delivered from Carvana (shipping was delayed) and upon return, they accused us of a quarter sized tear in the rear wheelweel. I distinctly remember this damage being present when we rented the vehicle but the agent brushed off the damage because it was less than a dollar bill in size. We assumed the damage has been recorded, and it was not. Of course, enterprise doesn't take vehicle photos before renting out their vehicles which in mindblowingly irresponsible considering they have their nifty little iPads. We were charged over $600 for a second time within a week. This is corporate fraud in the most abominable fashion. I will never rent another vehicle through enterprise and neither should anyone else. Straight up corporate fraudulence and customer extortion. Stay far away! Be warned! read more

This place suuuuccccccks! I've rented a car from here twice while my car was being repaired. My car insurance company chose this company and I can only assume it's because it's cheap. The first time I rented from here, I waited for what seemed like forever while they f***ed around and tried to verify that my car insurance was paying for the rental. When I did get a car, it was awful! I told them it was awful, which didn't stop them from calling me several times to try and sell me a car. The second time, I waited and waited and waited at the repair shop. The repair shop called multiple times and, when someone finally showed up, she didn't bother to apologize but just laughed it off. Apparently my need to get to work wasn't a significant concern. Needless to say, I wouldn't go back if it was on my dime. They really need to get their acts together. read more

This place got the job done, the staff was friendly but I prefer a low-no pressure situation after I am given a rental car after a wreck. I understand that the salesmen make money from their insurance sales but generic college kid gone salesman was not doing it for my after I was rear ended. I didn't have problems. First, the price quoted is not what you pay. It is an "estimate" that fails to mention there is an 11% airport tax if you have an out of state license. I belong to Enterprise frequent renter program. They know I have an out of state license already. This added cost was never mentioned. I could have gotten a car cheaper at Alamo. Car was only half full of gas, so try guessing how much you need to spend to get to an ambiguous half a tank. Wiper blades were so bad on the car I seriously though about buying new ones myself. And there were a lot of times I regretted I didn't. This is the last time I use Enterprise. read more

Never again! This is the worst place I experienced​. The young lady at the counter did not know what she was doing. She kept on asking for stuff that wasn't valid. I found that to be very odd. I had called the day prior to confirm the reservation of the vehicle. I was not told of the new rules and regulations. At that, I was speaking to the manager Mike. I quite did not understand this when in Christmas I had rented a standard SUV with no problems. Today was a nightmare! A waste of money taking an Uber back and forth from my home to the rental place. enterprise has permanently lost a previously loyal customer because of bad service, hidden fees, and terribly long wait times (despite being the only customer in the shop). when i rented the car through expedia it was not clear the rental location was not the same one at Mitchell International Airport. It is not, partially my fault. waited in line at the airport until i made it to the counter and discovered my reservation is not here. airport location won't make any attempt to help me other than suggest i take an uber. "sorry." now at the 27th st. facility i learn about the 11% fee not mentioned when i reserved the car. marcus tries to explain the fee as a result of having an out of state license. sorry, that doesn't compute. i believe it has something to do with paying airport royalties... but the inexperienced staff couldn't explain it. after declining multiple times many of the upsells and extras i ask to return the car to the airport location. "we'd prefer you don't," says marcus. "ok, but can i?" "we'd prefer you don't," repeats marcus. finally, about 45 minutes later, and two hours after landing i'm about to be on my way. "how satisfied with your service were you?" asked marcus... "we'll besides how long it took, the hidden fees, and not being able to drop the car off where i want... you were great." later in the weekend, i called the corporate office to change the return location of the car, they connect me back to marcus. sigh. he comes up with a $100 change location fee. twice more hassle and cost than expected. won't use enterprise ever again. encourage others to avoid this location. read more

Honestly, the car itself was wonderful. It was an easy and unremarkable pick-up, staff seemed friendly. Everything changed when I returned the car. Someone hit our rental car in the parking lot of the hotel we were staying at during our vacation. It was something you literally think will never happen and it definitely ruined our vacation. Luckily, I had several forms of insurance-one through the site I had purchased the rental from and also coverage with my credit card. I did everything you should do when someone hits your car. A police report was filed, a claim made with insurance, and I called Enterprise to let them know. The woman at Enterprise who answered the phone said to enjoy the rest of my vacation and we would do a damage report when I returned the car Fast forward to returning the car. I had all the paperwork completed from the insurance company and all the necessary documents the insurance company would need except for the damage report that Enterprise would complete. I even signed the area that would allow direct payment to Enterprise without having to go through me. A nice man did the check-out walk around and I showed him the damage. We went back inside and at this point I began the journey with the awful manager. She asked if I had insurance, which I did. She looked at my insurance and told me it wasn't real insurance and she would need my $500 deductible from my car insurance for MY car. I told her no. She then continued to make me feel like I was doing something wrong. Even told me if I was pulled over, the insurance I was trying to use wouldn't count and I could have been ticketed. I showed her the details document for the insurance that literally said Car Rental Insurance and the name of the company across the top. She said they only dealt with certain companies and that wasn't one of them. So she stood there until I finally I asked what the next option was. I told her I had all the documents she would need and all she would have to do was fax it in once the damage report was complete. She insisted she wouldn't handle that and likely my claim would be denied, so she wouldn't deal with my insurance company. She said I could take responsibility for it in full and be responsible for getting reimbursed by the insurance. I agreed and she made copies of my documents and told me to expect my bill in the mail and if I didn't pay, it would go to collections. She also commented to another customer how she would be with them in a moment and she liked dealing with NICE people. My vacation was already ruined and she made me feel like I was a criminal and trying to rip them off. Almost two months down the road, I get an email from my insurance company. Enterprise had sent all the information to them, they just needed the signed document agreeing to pay them! So, after all of the denial of my insurance company and belittling me, they did exactly what I expected them to do in the first place. I guess the insurance I had was legitimate?? Hmmmmm. My insurance paid all except $250 of the total nearly $900 damage, which didn't include some 'fees' they so *graciously* waived. My bill is totally paid and I will NEVER use Enterprise, especially this locally-owned Enterprise (S 27th St Milwaukee), again. read more

We rented over the 4th of July weekend. Very nice little Chevy Spark in great condition. No lines no waiting. An agent even walked me out to the car and showed me where all the controls were, wipers, headlights, etc. Have NEVER had anyone do that for me before. Not Budget, not Dollar, not E-Z, no one. I sold my personal vehicle and was without one for months. I have poor credit, no credit card. They guided me through the process of using a debit card plus showing a paycheck stub and one monthly utility bill to rent. I was NOT an easy customer. Sometimes I pd my cable online last minute and came in with a newly printed receipt. A few times I had (life) happen and was late returning the car, then asked then to re-rented with no prior notice. They stayed patient, helpful, and kind, and at times re-write a new contract at the price I had been paying as current fluctuation indicated they could have held their ground on more. I had quite the opposite experience than others who posted here. I too received my car as part of a car repair option from my insurance provider. They call this express service. Enterprise went out of their way to make sure my experience was top shelf. From the moment I received my car to a check in two days later to make sure I was happy with it to a reminder that my return date was near. I returned my car to the autobody shop and they, in turn, returned it to enterprise. Enterprise closed the loop by contacting me to let me know everything was in perfect order and they were refunding my $25 that they hold as part of the process. read more

SCAM ARTISTS!! Avoid like the plague! I had the displeasure of having Marcus as my commission hungry, lying customer service agent. It started with someone hit and running my car. I had my car being repaired at a local shop that worked with this branch of Enterprise. I was told that my insurance would cover a mid sized vehicle, but Enterprise said everything was rented except a full size ram 1500 truck. They told me that because they wanted my business they would waive the upgrade fee. I repeatedly told Marcus that I refused to pay anything out of pocket, and if the insurance company wasn't covering it I do not want it. He told me to sign here, initial there, etc. Then the truck has a flat tire. They fill it up. I ask if it has a leak, and am assured that it does not and it was only low because of the cold weather. Marcus went in to call the insurance company to make sure everything was covered. a few moments later his co-worker comes out and tells me everything is good and I can take off. Firstly, the tire continued to leak and needed air every day I had it. They would do nothing about that. Then I was left a message the day after I returned it stating they were charging my credit card that they had on file nearly $150 and gave no explanation. I called them and asked why and was told because I had the insurance (which I did not want, as I have my own) as well as the fee for driving the larger truck... I explained that no, I never agreed to pay for those. I was told that I signed for them and there was nothing they would do. I asked for the manager. I talk to the "manager" and he repeats there is nothing they can do... then I find out that the manager is another lie, and infact it is that same scam artist Marcus pretending he is the manager. I then disputed the initial charges on my card, as well as contacted my shop. I told my shop what happened and they told me that this is NOT the first similar complaint like this they heard. I said if they do business with and direct their customers there, that it reflect poorly on them and I will not be back. They said they would get it taken care of, called enterprise, and got my refund. I am never going to ANY enterprise again because of this situation. Trust me, goto ANYONE but them! And this Marcus guy already has multiple complaints just here on Yelp! and still has a job there, impersonating the manager. The fact that he is still employeed there shows how much they actually care about customer service vs. just screwing the customers for all the money they can get from them. read more

I got a rental from enterprise and I had it a while due to problems with the insurance payment and my car repairs. my insurance paid for 30 days, when the 30 days was up enterprise never contacted me to tell me that it was no longer being covered. I assumed it was being covered seeing as I was hit. About 10 days after the insurance stopped covering it I received a call from the office telling me that I had a large balance and it had to be paid I called and spoke to them and explained the situation. a few days had gone by and I received a nasty call from someone that works there about paying my balance. I called the corporate office and told them what was going on and assuring them that I was contacting the insurance and my attorney to get this straightened out. the corporate office told me that a supervisor would get in touch with me the next business day but I never heard from them. The following day I heard from the local office again and again threatening me. the next morning I went to use my bank card and when the receipt printed I noticed the balance was off. I looked up my account and enterprise charged my debit card almost $500. I immediately contacted enterprise and they said I had to talk to the office I rented from and connected me to them when I spoke to the office they said there was nothing they could do.
