    Ford Edge provided by Jake at Hammond Enterprise Car Rental. Very clean; super spacious; safe; and dependable!

    I recently rented a car from the Hammond location for my 4th of July vacation. My grandchildren were traveling with me. I left the choice of vehicle up to the company. Jake at the Hammond location acted professionally and with care in providing us with an suv. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The vehicle was thoroughly inspected for any damage or faults before I left the lot. Everything I needed to know was explained to me upon my departure; I was provided with essential paperwork and contact info before leaving. Our trip was amazing and stress free; as there were zero mechanical issues. The vehicle chosen was spacious and pre-cleaned before issuance. There was less than 50,000 miles on the vehicle. All of our luggage fit with room to spare. The safety features for car seat implementation was exemplary. Hands free monitoring and communication was a helpful tool. I felt safe during the entire trip also knowing roadside assistance and added insurance feature had us covered. I'm very thankful for the service provided by Jake and his team. I will return to the Hammond lit for my future rental needs. Thank you Jake fir impeccable service! I recommend giving them a try if you have a long trip. Five star review for me!! Hammond Enterprise Car Rental is where it's at !!

    Nasty stains on the front passenger seat.

    This Enterprise location needs some competition! This is my second experience with receiving a nasty car. The Interior windshield looked like it hasn't been cleaned since the car was purchased. The seats have huge stains on them. And the car itself smells like an ashtray. The car pulled hard to the right, probably due to whatever is causing the wear on the tire on the front drivers side., that I called to the attendants attention, but was told they wouldn't send a car out if they thought it would put someone in harms way. Really the truth is they could care less about the cars they send out. Just take it and go. This is my last go with them. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this is not my first bad experience with this location.

    This just in....enterprise may be plumbing in their approval ratings. For a company that prides itself on customer service, the Hammond branch has a major issue. More often than none, reservation are looked over. The car or van you request is never there. They try to give you stories on what's going but customer are tired of the de-escalation process . I believe if you have a reservation, a week before you rent, your car should be there. Come on Hammond location.

    I was recently rear-ended by someone & their insurance set up a rental for me while my truck was in…read morethe shop getting repaired. Reason I'm giving them atleast 2 stars is b/c they came & picked me up at the repair shop when I dropped it off, which is what they advertise they will do. But also the reason why I'm only giving them 2 stars is b/c when it came time to pick my truck up from the shop & I called to see if they'll drop me off at the shop when I return the rental (they advertise this as well); the guy working was straight up rude & said that he doesn't have time to run me 10 mins up the road to drop me off at the repair shop. So since this was all being paid for by an insurance company & I couldn't just keep the rental until the weekend, when I didn't have to go to work, or I'd have to pay for those "extra" days! Thankfully the awesome people at Eastside Collision truly understand what great customer service looks like & that people having to go through all these unwanted things after getting in wreck isn't an everyday thing, followed me to Hertz to drop the rental off. Once finally getting there the guy working that morning was rude again & acted like he hates his job & never once broke a smile! He checked the vehicle & didn't say one word until he told me I owe $180 b/c I didn't refill the tank to 3/4 like when I picked it up! I was under the impression that the insurance company would be paying for that & when I asked if that was the case, he got all pissed off! I asked for the keys back so I could go pay $25 to get tank back to 3/4 & slammed them in to my outstretched hand! Now the nice employee that followed me from Eastside, now followed me to the gas station! She told me that their customers always say that they get terrible customer service at that Hertz & even told the insurance companies that deal with them, to stop using that Hertz for their customers! If you hate going to your job everyday & can't treat the people that actually keep you in business with respect, then it's time to find another job where you don't act & treat people like you hate life! I won't be using this place ever again & I use rentals quite often due to my job!

We rented a van in May. Months later, in November, we get a call from a collection agency saying that we owed Hertz a grand. Someone has supposedly dented the back bumper. We didn't hear anything for 5 months. We got emails from the collection agency with pictures and a note saying they had called someone ELSE (neither me nor my spouse) in october who refused to show up or even talk to them. So then they went back till they found someone with decent insurance. We only rented from them because my hubby, a 14 year air force veteran, got a discount from USAA. Never again. Trying to talk with the collection group never worked. I work nights and my hubby was out of town and they refused to work with us. 1000$ damage that happened in May and they didn't find it til october? It's a scam. Do not rent from them. If you have decent insurance, stay far away because they'll come after you even if someone else damages a car.

    just now NEW Booked a…read morevan for a week long vacation with 3 kids and 3 adults. Returned the vehicle in typical condition after going on a road trip. There were crumbs on the floor and all of the kids had blankets so there was some fuzz from the blankets stuck to the carpet. They threatened to charge us $500 for a cleaning fee due to having animal hair in the vehicle. At no point during our trip did we have an animal in the vehicle. The only hair on the floor was human hair. After arguing for several minutes I decided to give in and go to a near by car wash. I asked the tenant if they get a lot of people from hertz with the same complaint and he shook his head and said yep. When I brought the van back I said you're welcome for your free car wash. Animal hair does not come up with a regular vacuum and if there was in fact animal hair it would have taken me much longer to remove all of it. I would have given zero stars if that were an option.

Admits they know they don't have promised cars Even though they are still confirming reservations for additional cars to rent while they're telling you they don't have any when you go to pick up the prior reservation. This isn't just bad business it's fraud. Apparently they have no consideration to detrimental reliance. Customers relying on this company or business travel or to get back home recreation travel are destined to be screwed not just out of their car but other important damages.
