Brandon has helped us previously in their Gilroy branch. He's always been courteous and professional. Since they were busy tomorrow for my 8AM(opening) pick up, he allowed me to pick up my rental before closing since I am an Emerald Club member. The rentals we've had in both branches were clean and well maintained. I was offered a discount to upgrade in person from both branches. In our last rental, they even had a follow up call to make sure there were no issues with the rental. I am still disappointed with the holiday cancellation last year especially when no alternative rental in all other branches were available leaving us car-less till we checked a few other car rental businesses. When I tried complaining about that experience, we were offered to escalate the issue or get free rental days. Interactions like today and last time with Brandon and quality of car rentals do make me return to their business. I would just be wary booking during holidays if your rental pickup is around Christmas/New Year's time. read more

Overall, the staff was helpful, and I was able to complete my trip without major issues. However, the experience had some inconveniences. The first vehicle (Nissan Altima) had a tire pressure warning and needed to be exchanged, which required a wait. The replacement (Chevrolet Malibu) had higher mileage and noticeable wear. I love rented cars from Enterprise. Brianna is one of the best members of enterprise Rent-A-Car. She helps me with all my needs and she always make sure that the car is a renter always clean and ready to go. I'm sure she does it for everybody else but it feels like she does it just for me and it makes me feel good about who I'm doing business with a recommend this place to anybody that needs a car for a day or a week. Once a year, my family stays in Carpinteria CA for 1 month. Our flight was delayed in Chicago because of engine problems and we lost our airport car assignment. Landed in Santa Barbara airport 12 hours late. Got on a city bus to Carpinteria and went by an Enterprise Rental Office on Hollister. Got off the bus quick! We were exhausted, frustrated and pissed because of loosing our airport rental. Still in all, we had a wonderful experience telling Alejandro & Cameron about our mishap; they were so supportive and helpful. They found us a car for a month. Cameron and Alejandro were so helpful, patient and friendly; Both of them have the best attitude and disposition for assisting the public. People are so slow here. Clearly when someone books a am appointment they are needing the car asap. This place waited until we got there to give us some bs that the car we were renting went out. I have rented from Hollister Enterprise twice. I recently rented from them when my car was getting some body work done due to an accident. The person working was able to guide me through getting my insurance to book the car at a discounted rate. I had to extend the booking twice due to the body shop taking longer than expected and it wasn't an issue at all. I had great service. The only feedback I would have is that they need more than one person working there. It was too busy for just one person to handle. read more

Their policy! I have used them before to rent a truck with my Chase Bank Visa card. I had no problems then I booked them again for an SUV and they did not allow me to take it. I told them I had rented a truck what's the difference? And the guy say he talk to all his manager and I can't even imagine him calling all his managers under 2 minutes and they said no they can not accept my Chase Bank Visa Card.. Yes I was pissed off and very disappointed and not even a phone call from the manager after all this BS I went through. At the end I took my business somewhere else and I was able to find a vehicle and was able to use my Chase Bank Visa Card!! DO NOT HO HERE TO RENT A CAR- You get a email with all the information; where to pickup the car, what kind of car and the price. When you get there, they wouldn't honor the price. If I could give a zero I totally would! Very upset with this place!! I traveled all the way to gilroy because they had a cheaper rate. my email said my car was reserved for 4:30 only to be told when I got there that wasn't my time on their system and that they gave my car away they didn't even call me with some crappy excuse saying I didn't put a number down when I reserved which was a flat out LIE! I then went and booked the same car in Hollister where I live but was going to be charged $30 more! Online it was available and when I got there he told me they were completely booked! And once again I was not called because my number wasn't in your system but my email clearly showed my phone number on there! so you guys need to fix your system and if you have no cars maybe it should say that online!!! I was a customer for years and always had the best customer service. NOW customer service is HORRIBLE. The manager Alexis is extreamly rude. when i called to ask about an old bill i had previously called on and was told it was taken care off. As I was explaining to her what had been told to me last time i called about the same bill she rudely responds with, "you didnt talk to me, I've never talked to you", with an attitude. I never once said I spoke to her. I said I spoke to SOMEONE in the office. through-out the whole conversation she had a rude tone. She was rude about the whole situation and keeped talking to me like I was less than. I will make sure to bring up the lack of professionalism to the regional managers attention. read more

Holllister Enterprise is lucky it is one the only rentals in Hollister. Horrible Horrible Horrible! Cars are dirty and staff is not the best. Been renting for years and each time I say " I wish we had another car rental with better cars and service". Please Hollister kick up your town with quailty businesses. Made a reservation from Washington State at this location. In 1963 our family lived in Hollister, and my mom was visiting a very old friend. Phil, the Manager, made sure my 77 year young mother was taken care of like she was his own! The car wasn't ready at the exact time, but not only did Phil make sure she got a ride to where she needed to go, he then had the car delivered when it was ready- 5 Gold Stars! Dont bother to reserve a car on-line...they dont bother to tell you the on-line system does not know if there are cars available. Made my reservation, droped my car off for repairs, went to pick up car only to be told they would not have any cars until Noon (reserv was for 9AM) No help was offered just a patronizing agent. Worst part...they never bothered to call me when a car was ready...had to walk back to repair shop, cancel the repairs in order to keep my work appointment and my JOB!! Rented a Ford Focus for two days while my car was in the shop. Car was in very good shape, staff was pleasant, rate was reasonable. Then....my car had to go back into the shop. Arranged for a reservation with pickup at the shop at 8 AM...3 minutes away from the branch. 8:20--no one showed, so I called. "Oh, are you ready to be picked up?" 8:45--call from the office: the driver has to drop off other customers, but should be there shortly. Reservation cancelled, called a cab. If you could give negative stars this place would get -5 stars! The sad thing is the Manager or person who "claims" to be a manager Sam is the name he went by, is off the chart rude! He's very argumentative, cocky and talks down to every customers that comes in. I had made a reservation 3 months in advance. I called Sam seven days prior to pick up and he promised me that my rental was ready and on the ground. At the very last minute at 5:24 pm the day before my reservation. They close at 5:30pm; he leaves me the most unprofessional voice mail giggling about "how he does not have my rental for me." I was then forced to go all the way to Morgan Hill Ca. I worked with a guy named Daniel he was like night and day compared to Sam. Extremely helpful great attitude good personality made jokes and connections with me . This what I was expecting going to Sam which never happen! In Morgan Hill They got me into a decent car and I was on my way. Due to my troubles I was told a small drop fee would be waived so that I could drop the car off In Hollister. On the 10th I drop the car off, again Sam is rude and now demanding I pay a drop fee and cleaning fee because he said the small amount of dog hair thAt was on my children caused a "deep cleaning" fee! Sadly I am a relative to an employee of Enterprise. If this is how Sam and Hollister treat employee family members I don't want to picture what retail has to deal with. Id rather pay extra and fly then to ever deal with such a rude person like Sam in Hollister again, or for Enterprise in general. I'll just stick to hurtz all my rental needs!!! worst customer service every, resevred a car for friday aug 2, never knew you had to have 2 current utililty bills to rent with a debt card never had to do that before, reserved online did not see anything, nothing in the e mail confirmation about it as well. was running a hour and a 1/2 late picking up ther car, felt like the guy helping me was making it twice as hard, sent me back to my car 3 times to look for bills with my address on them, then he wanted to copy my phone bill i told him that was personal info that he could have the bottom part he said no that he had to have the copy of the bill or he was not renting me a car. i told him this was B.S. that i have been renting for them for over 15 years that i was in there system, he then told me that he was not renting me a car, ask for the manager he told me he was not in, ask for the regional phone number cant get nobody there, left message at the seaside location where the manger was to be, no call back,,called corprate office filed a complaint, still no call from anyone. where is your great customer service you claim to have??? read more
