Today was an extremely stressful experience. I reserved a rental car with this Enterprise location, and I was told they would deliver it to my repair shop. When I arrived, we let Enterprise know I was there, and they said someone would arrive in 15-20 minutes. After waiting for over an hour, I called to ask where they were. That's when I was told they don't even service my repair shop and that I needed to be transferred to a different Enterprise location. My question is: why didn't anyone call to let me know? I could have been sitting there all day waiting. Why wasn't this mentioned when I made the reservation? The repair shop was only 15 minutes away. I understood that they couldn't deliver the car, so I was willing to Uber to them since it was closer to my house. Then they told me they had no vehicles available until TUESDAY, five days from now. So what happened to the car I had reserved and was supposedly waiting on? What started as a simple pickup turned into a two-hour ordeal with no resolution. Now I'm left without a car, and all I got was, "Sorry." The lack of communication and professionalism was incredibly disappointing. Customers should be notified immediately if a reservation needs to be transferred, rescheduled, or if no vehicles are actually available. read more

My biggest issue with this Enterprise location was the customer service experience with the Asian male employee who assisted me at both check-in and return. When I arrived to check in, he continued a phone call and did not acknowledge my presence at all--not even with eye contact. I expect at least a basic acknowledgment when walking into a business, especially at a rental counter. That same employee handled my return, and the process was excessively long. He again failed to acknowledge me while assisting another customer, then went outside to check the car, came back inside, and said absolutely nothing. I had to ask whether my return had even been completed. Several hours later, I still have not received an electronic confirmation that the vehicle was checked in. This was a frustrating and avoidable experience driven entirely by poor communication and lack of basic customer awareness. This Enterprise location is my favorite and my only go to, Chris Assist Manager and Manager Brian (don't quote me on that name) knows me and both takes pride in their responsibilities of making sure renters are valued and satisfied with their rented car. The location is very busy and hard to get in touch with to extend your rental. I'm not taking any stars away due to that inconvenience nor due to TOMMY who is unprofessional and irritating, I had to report him so watch his energy. Had a reservation at 10 but waited around an hour or so before I got my car. Friendly staff, clean place. Seated area is spread out. They try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. I rented a car to drive my kids and I to Florida to celebrate my sons graduation. Not only was my rental an hour late for pick up, making us delayed on all of traveling but the car they offered me not only had a huge Crack down the windshield directly in the vision of the driver but also a Crack that ran across the passengers line of vision. I explained I was NOT happy with traveling that far with a damaged windshield and that I was very angry that it was late from my original pick uptime. I was told there was nothing they could do, this was the only car available so i either took it or wait around for another available car. Mind you there were 2 customers waitiing behind me who didnt have rentals at all despite their reservations and pick up times. I was told they do no in store discount or compensation. I have called and contacted Enterprise 4 times in the last cpuple weeks with absolutely NO return call from anyone. I called today and even though my phone number is on my contract and i have confirmed it each time ive called. She repeated back a nunber that isnt even mine for them to discuss any compensation . I corrected them and "updated" the same number ive always used. Now i wait to see if anyone is going tonaddress their poor service, their lack of accountability, and for making me spend $500 on a rental i felt was unsafe. read more

RIP Brownie 99-09 My car was totaled this weekend (not my fault!), and I couldn't start Monday without a car. So when speaking with the guy's (who hit me) insurance company, they told me to go with Enterprise. I made my reservations online Sunday night and put my credit card info down (the insurance company wasn't going to contact me til noon the next day, and as I mentioned, I couldn't wait.) So I put it all on my card, knowing that I wasn't at fault and would be reimbursed. You can opt for them to pick you up from home, but I could have either walked to this location ... or have my roomie take me in the morning before work. Soon as I got there, I was greeted, my reservation was found and I was escorted outside to pick my ride. I really had my heart set on a mini-SUV (the Elite event was the next day and I could use the extra cargo space), but when it comes from insurance claims, you have to rent a car similar to your make and model type. But guess what? This sweet young gentleman pointed over to a shiny Saturn Vue and said: "You know what? How about I give you that one at the sedan rate?" I LOVE YOU. (They actually gave a free upgrade to my sister at another location, too.) With in 10 minutes, the car was cleaned, my paperwork was done and I was handed the keys. And a few days later after I was notified by the insurance company, my card was reissued the $300+ authorization. Great service, guys. read more

Enterprise car rental travis afb ca. told me they are not open on sunday. This is hard to believe based on the fact during heavy travel season aka summer that they would be closed. At travis afb there are space availiable travel customers on militart flights 24/7. Shout out to Darrell, the general manger of this branch who was professional, friendly, and very accommodating. We decided last minute to rent a car while there was a big convention downtown. We first stopped by the Avis/Budget location a block away but they were completely sold out. We decided to give this Enterprise location a try but did not have our hopes up. After walking through the door, we immediately noticed the difference between this Enterprise and the Avis/Budget we just came from. The staff greeted us immediately and the business attire was a nice touch. After talking to Darrell, he informed us that they had no cars available without a reservation; the lot was nearly empty. Bummed but not surprised, we were about to head out when he found a last minute cancellation and thus, an available car! We jumped on the offer, signed some paperwork and were on our way. When we came back to return the car, we handed the keys over and they verified the gas level. We asked for a quick ride to a breakfast spot about ~5 min away and they immediately obliged. Everyone that we interacted with at this branch was friendly and professional and I would recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for a rental car. read more

It's my understanding that this is a very busy location, so for that reason I'll give it three stars instead of one. The car they gave me was gross! I killed a roach in it, there was a huge hole in the carpet on the floor board and the dash had something splattered all over it. I only went to this location bc the one near my home was closed! Then I go to get the rate information straight and my employer has a corporate code which sometimes gets a better rate and the girl helping me was kind of rude to me when she was questioning me about whether or not I was "allowed" to use it! The Asst Manager, Terry, lied to me to get me there and then told me that the only vehicle availabe, after we signed the paperwork, was a Mazda Miata. I was between a rock and a hard place because I had to get to the Colision place to review my car and he promised me that I could swing back by and he would have me another car. HE DID NOT - promised to call me first thing the next morning and swap out the vehicle - never happened. Then the Miata quit working Saturday about 2:30Pm and Enterprise left me stranded - would not even bring me another vehicle - told me that there were no cars in Houston and I would have to wait till Monday and get my own transportation to their Office to pick up another car. They would not pay for a Rideshare to get me back home. I spoke to 9 people and never got an apology or any help at all. WORST Car Rental Place I have ever done business with. This location is extremely unorganized. I had to rent from them twice due to my insurance. The first time they picked me up about an hour after the appointed time. Then they tried to switch me to a more expensive vehicle. The car I eventually got was on a quarter tank. That car had issues and I switched it out. Even after confirming three times that there would be a car available, there wasn't. I wasted an hour waiting, again. And again, that car had a quarter tank. The next time I rented I confirmed three times that I would be picked up at the designated time. I'm still waiting. The folks are polite but they are either completely oblivious or just seriously unorganized. Do not rent from this location. Update. I ended up having to walk to the rental car office. It's been over an hour since my "reservation" and they still don't have a vehicle. Seriously, do whatever you can to rent from a different agency or at least a different location. read more

I originally gave them a great review - the people at rental office and where I returned the car were excellent. Then I got the bill. I wasn't supposed to get a bill, my insurance was paying because my car was totaled. Apparently, even though I said "I don't want a bill, I want only what Allstate will pay for", when I thought I was initially to DECLINE extra coverage, I was signing to ACCEPT full coverage. Yes, that's on me -- I should have been more careful -- but I had made clear to the associate that I wanted nothing that Allstate wouldn't cover, then I get hit with a $400+ bill. I should have done this review from the experience I had when I tried to rent a car in Houston, Texas on 01/06/2021 at Baker Nissan. I reserved a car to travel from Houston to Irving,Texas to attend a funeral. The scheduled pickup time was for 9:00 am. The funeral was scheduled to start at 2:00 pm. Five hours was plenty of time to get to the funeral. When I arrived to pick up my rental I was told that the car was not ready. I waited for 30 minutes. Furthermore, I was told that I couldn't leave my motorcycle. I got frustrated and told him to cancel my reservation. I got on my motorcycle and rode to Irving. I ran through heavy rain along the way. After the funeral I headed back to Houston. I got as far as Huntsville and proceeded to exit the freeway to make my last fuel stop. It was dark and as I exited I didn't see that there was a 90 degree turn from the exit ramp to the service road. I was unable to navigate the turn so I traveled straight off the road into a wet, grassy area. There was a 6' drop. Luckily the ground was soft from the earlier rain so I didn't break any bones. I did however suffer an injury to my left eye despite wearing a helmet. I also received a laceration to my right shin. Had I broken a leg I would have bled out before I got help. I still have nerve damage from the head trauma and suffer from a blood clot in my right leg. My motorcycle suffered extensive damage as well. read more

These range from them overcharging my card and taking a month of constant phone calls to remove it (I had to contact Enterprise via Twitter to get the issue resolved - which they did in less than 10 minutes), to calling me about a star they found on the windshield after I dropped it off...when there was a star on the windshield noted on the initial vehicle checkout. Very poor customer service and shady practices. When our insurance reservation wasn't found in the system they were completely unwilling to help us look for it. Then they kept trying to claim that they were going to charge us extra because they didn't have any regular sized cars. (even though their contract with Allstate requires them to pay the extra). Finally a regular sized car magically appeared when he (Cory) realized he was going to lose that fight. He then sold us an insurance policy through them by telling us a story about how badly screwed we'd be if we just went through our Allstate insurance for any issues on the rental.. without caring to explain why their's was so wonderful. Again, we dealt with Cory, and he was very shady and unhelpful. Use uber or zipcar or anything other than Enterprise if you can. read more
