After being scammed by Priceless Car Rentals near the airport, I called this Enterprise location and spoke with the nicest guy, I believe his name was Mark. This was almost 2 months ago and I wish I had written this sooner while the details were fresh. Anyway, he was so nice and understanding on the phone, and I got a rental car reserved for less than Priceless was trying to charge me for a car I thought I had already paid for as a bundle through Priceline. Then, going above and beyond, they came and picked me up from the scammy place! The young man who picked me up, I believe his name was Kendrick, had just graduated from college and we chatted the whole way back to Enterprise. Long story short is the staff here is AMAZING and I will never rent a car from anyone but Enterprise again. They have earned a customer for life. My insurance was helping pay for a rental vehicle while my personal vehicle was being repaired at a body shop. I had asked this location if they happened to have an upgraded vehicle such as an SUV as that is what I normally drive. I needed a bigger vehicle for work purposes. This location told me they did NOT have any bigger vehicles on the lot, so I went with the regular car and just had to make ends meet on my end for the time being. To my suprise, when I returned the vehicle I was going to be charged over 200 dollars for an over due rental (This is what they told me on site). I called my insurance and they were able to clear it. No big deal. A week later, my credit card was charged an additonal 175. Turns out they put me down for an upgraded vehicle when all I received was a regular sized car. I once again called my insurance company to figure out what they were actually covering vs what happened at the lot. Called enterprise and notified them of this problem, they told me to call insurance, insurance told me to call Enterprise... either which way I was ripped off from enterprise as they rented me something I did not actually recieve and they will not fix the problem. Absolutely ridiculous and shady behavior all the way around. I'm out of a good amount of money and looks like I won't be getting it back. read more

My experience with ENTERPRISE was fine until about a week after I took back the rental and I got $185 toll Authority bill that they told me I would only be charged for the tolls. I got $145 in tolls and $35 in service charges 495 per trip so I guess me saying I won't be charged any additional charges doesn't mean shit because they should've told me I needed to transponder, but they didn't tell me that they told me I wouldn't be charged that my credit card would be charged bullshit ass experience. I would never rent another car from ENTERPRISE then I called customer service and they play stupid as shit talking about. You weren't charge anything additional per the agreement. All of the associates were amazing but Tavin went above and beyond during my whole rental process. I love the fact that although most car rental places require you to rent with a major credit card, enterprise does accept debit cards along with a reasonable deposit. Also when I decided I needed to keep the rental longer than my initial requested days the process of adding an extra day(s) was quick & simple . When it was time to return the rental the return process was also simple and didn't take long . I will point out that when I checked reviews before inquiring about a rental from this location, I was surprised that they were listed lower than 5 stars bc I had a great experience, customer service was excellent & I will definitely refer to others & personally rent from that location again. To say that this was my first time renting a car EVER I was pleased with the entire process AND an associate was provided to pick me up instead of me needing to uber there( I live 10 mins away from this location). I have no complaints abt the car that I rented through enterprise (car was clean prior to pickup, no foul smell and did I mention UNLIMITED MILES!!) . This was by far the worst enterprise I've encountered. Had a reservation for 12:00pm and they called me at 11:23am telling me that they were overbooked and if I could push it back to later in the afternoon. When arrived, no one spoke nor asked if we needed help and we waited for an hr+ before receiving a car. And to top it off, their card readers wasn't reading the card so we had to go to a different enterprise. I called the day before, even confirmed with my insurance that I can use a debit card and have $300 deposit. Yes no problem! I enter my address in so they see I'm from out of state. Still say nothing. They assure that I will have a car by 2:30 pm. I get there on time. They have nothing. I sit up there until 5:45 pm, for them to tell me I can't use my debit card! I stayed on hold for over an hour. When they did answer, no one was available to pick up to get the rental. When I got there, I waited in the lobby for over 30 minutes after I checked in without anyone explaining why. The employees went in the back and never came out. This is the worst customer service I have ever received at Enterprise. I saw 2 peopl working but they only passed through as 3 of us just sat and waited . I rent from here all the time and they're always courteous and thoughtful. They even check in to see how the rental is going. I understand the other reviews and not being comfortable but you can't hold employees for a company that allows overbooking. They're not punching bags for your frustrations. I get being upset but talking to another human being like a dog won't make them want to work with you/help you anymore than they can. I would give 0 stars if I could. I reserved a car a whole month in advance - when we got to the enterprise they said they oversold and they didn't have any cars available. There was no communication ahead of time about this issue, what's the point of reserving if you're not even guaranteed a car? We had to wait over an hour and finally got a car but it was not what we paid for. We reserved a standard size but were given a ford fiesta which is the lowest option and we were still charged the full amount. I have tried calling enterprise FIVE times for compensation - each time the representative said a regional manager would reach out but no one called back. This is ridiculous. The enterprise location at George Bush airport is ridiculously priced. Mainly because Houston has so many damn arenas that you get heavily taxed on them all. This Humble, TX location is a neighborhood location which is a five minute cab ride away and is literally the difference of $200 per week on a rental. The staff was great. It was a dude there name Daniel or David (cant recall) that was super cool. When I returned my car there was a crack on the windshield and the Manager was very helpful in getting a damage report going. They were also supposed to give me a ride to the airport upon my return, but since they were so busy they just let me drive to the airport which was great! Overall this may be the location that I go to whenever I hit Houston. read more

She was actually just rude. We weren't aware that we couldn't use a debit card (we checked our confirmation) so when we arrived, she rudely let us know that we were pretty much out of luck and said we should go to the airport to figure it out. I would not recommend this Enterprise. Call on a Friday morning to secure a rental, they don't have one available til Tuesday. Not happy but whatever. Then they ask if you would want a truck/SUV rental, I say no because I am not comfortable driving them. Show up at my scheduled time and they don't have anything ready. I'm sorry, you know I have an appointment at this time, why not call and let me know so I don't have to sit there for an hour just to end up with A TRUCK. I was so over waiting that I just took it. It was either that or a minivan after waiting an hour. The lady was somewhat trying to fix the problem saying she would let me know if she ever had anything else ready she would contact me. No complaints here. This was my first time renting from Enterprise and it won't be my last. The folks here were super nice and helpful. When I had to extend my rental another few days, I had no trouble at all doing so. My car was in the shop for repairs nearby and these guys were a real lifesaver. I found the rate that I paid to be very fair in comparison to the competition. The car that I was given was in excellent shape and I had no problem with it whatsoever for the duration of my rental. I was even able to leave the rental at the repair shop for pickup. Easy peasy. It's not often that I need to rent a car in my home town but the next time I do, I'm picking Enterprise. I have used Enterprise Rent-A-Car for years, but this was my first time using their Truck Rental Service. With reasonable daily rates, the first 150 miles for free and then an excess mileage rate that was a third of that of Uhaul, I ended up saving a lot of money by going with them. The staff at this location was very friendly and efficient. They even allow you to park you car there overnight if you need. Consider them when next you need a larger vehicle. read more

Sterling is the bomb! I live locally and will often rent on a weekly rate when business has me driving a lot, when I am visiting friends or family out of town, or when guests are visiting and more seats are needed than I have. I have a Priceline.com credit card and shop rates on priceline, cross-reference the rates on competitor broker sites, then name my own price on priceline's other app. It only takes a few minutes to do this, but NOBODY gets better rates than I average! ENTERPRISE often wins the regular price bid, and then I save another 15% by naming my own price! This visit to Enterprise saw a busy lobby with people returning cars, checking cars out, and seated- waiting to be helped. I feel fortunate to have been helped by Sterling, but everyone seemed to be very efficient, working quickly and courteously, but what I witnessed in Spencer's execution, what seemed to be a genuine personal interest in whomever he spoke to. I also noticed how he acknowledged new arrivals, told customers who were waiting the status of the process and was totally aware of the customer's perspective through the entire process. As a professor of Sociology, this particularly impressed me as a special gift which is appreciated even by those not observing such things as closely as I always do. A few hours after I had my car, I received a call from Spencer, asking if all was OK with the car and telling me not to hesitate contacting him if I needed the car longer, if I noticed any trouble with the car, or if I wanted to upgrade during the week. After returning the vehicle, my own car's battery was, for some reason, completely dead after sitting at Enterprise all week. Spencer was outside helping a customer and noticed my dilemma. He told me that he had two customers that he could handle quickly, but would find me some jumper cables and get me on my way. Shortly after, Spencer was pulling a vehicle next to my own! The battery required a few minutes to charge and once again, I noticed how genuine Spencer seemed when conversing with me. Even to a deal- shopper like me, service like this is just as important as a competitive price and for this reason, Will Clayton Enterprise is my preference and I WILL tell others! I want to congratulate Enterprise for employing such a talent as Spencer and give him Kudo's for a job well done! Bravo!!! read more

My friend and I rented from here vs IAH and it was a wise move. The 2 guys working were very friendly (couldn't catch the names). They had us on the road relatively quickly; the check-in process was smooth. I originally reserved mid-size, but downgraded to compact because it was the only car in the lot. However, I was refunded the difference so no harm. We had a Nissan Versa Note hatch-back. The car was fuel efficient, but hatch-backs have more blind spots. Also, you can feel the shakiness of the car at times when you are driving 75 MPH (Texas speed limit is 75 MPH). Lastly, there some paint chips, but the employee noted it and there were no charges. My friend returned the car on a Saturday and Enterprise was nice enough to give him a lift to the airport; this was pretty awesome. Keeping doing what you're doing, but expand the inventory a little and avoid hatch-backs. Also, I put this complaint into Enterprise last year and I will do it again; this complaint has to do with 2 keys on a key chain. When you have additional drivers, it does not good because 1 person is forced to carry both keys. Keep each key on a separate chain and have a key sign out policy for each car. read more

Every person at this location is wonderful. From start to finish they really took care of me. I had my rental for 30 days and they even notified me when I was nearing my 30 days. (my insurance policy only covered my rental for 30 days) This location helped more than my insurance adjuster. I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and I was blown away with the help I received from every employee. If you need a rental this is hands down the best location. read more

Watch out for Vayn the manager, she seems so nice at first then turns on you with lies! Don't ever give them your credit card number they will keep charging you without your permission, even after you return the rental. They pick U up and drop you off and avoid the extortion fees when renting from the airport. GREAT business model which will be followed.
