I totally understand the rules and regulations to rent a vehicle but wow! I read everything online, got there drove over a hour and all of sudden wasn't able to rent a vehicle. They were very rude from the get, the manager Rene who I spoke to several times before hand never mentioned or asked me anything except if I could come later for the vehicle I rented out. Which was fine on our end.. but then he LIED and chimed in saying that we had already discussed and went over everything. Like nooo way! And then the lady was talking over everyone and saying that she personally called me multiple times to ask me questions!! They seemed to have 0 resolutions and kept adding issue after issue. So please make sure you get all your ducks in a row. I've never had a problem renting a vehicle before till them. It wasn't worth the time or hassle to continue since they're just a really unprofessional. I'm hoping they figure out how to do business and work with people not against. Hit a deer with my new suv and needed a rental while it was in the shop. Enterprise picked me up from the shop and quickly got me into another suv. Willis was courteous and professional. The car was clean and the whole experience was quick and easy. Turned it in at the shop and they came and picked it up. The manager Rene was kind and courteous as well and handled a little mix up with my insurance. This place is great. I will definitely recommend anyone to them. Thanks Enterprise!!!! read more

Called me the day of rental and cancelled my rental with no explanation or effort to try and find the vehicle I needed. Jacob hung up on me after 3 minutes on the phone instead of helping me find a solution. Definitely need more options for rental. read more

They give you the run around on everything, don't even go there if you don't have your recent paycheck,utility bill and a major credit card. With out these they will not let you rent a car. Different policies in different cities though, just don't recommend this enterprise at all. read more

If I could leave negative stars it would be minus 200 stars. I have never seen such a lack of customer service in my life. I booked a luxury suv to seat 7 people on Monday to be picked up on Saturday giving them more than enough time to have a vehicle available. No phone calls no emails during the entire week suggesting there was an issue. Friday morning 7/26/24 I get a phone call from a EaglePass number stating they will not have a vehicle available and can get me possibly into a Minivan. Ok hello Seven adults and luggage a minivan won't hold that. It was basically a take it or leave it attitude. I lost my temp and yes I cursed. But seriously do your job you had a week to get a vehicle. I called all over the area getting the same run around every enterprise I called expect two. I even called customer service at the corporate level still no help. One girl attempted to help with unfortunately no results. I went to enterprise only to see two vehicles on the lot matching what I needed one Chevrolet Suburban and one Ford Expedition. I went inside and tried to remain calm but was met my both a young man and girl who had no intention of helping I even asked if I could add a day to the reservation and pick up the car today. They still refused when I ask to speak to a manager I was told yeah that's not going to happen. A hour of waiting the parking lot for the manager to return. A second interaction with manager and again refusal to rent me the vehicle that was on the lot. Know the excuse was I needed a major credit card. I don't like or have credit cards. My bank account is tied to a Mastercard how much bigger do they need. Then I offered to pay in cash for the rental still refused to rent us a vehicle. At this point I was done it is very obvious they had someone in mind they were saving the vehicle for. After another non productive call from a supposed area manager who I bet was just another staff member of their location I told them to cancel the reservation. I needed to rent a car for one way travel after an accident, and I was given a quote and walked through the rental agreement where I would initial the tablet. One way, okay. Do you need extra insurance? No. Okay. Blah, blah. I didn't read the information because it was close to closing and the salesperson said it was such and such a price. He said he would email me the receipt. When I received it, it was incorrectly filled out and cost a lot more than what I was quoted. It was for a one-way rental, and when I got home and I had time to look at the bill I was shocked! I called the local Enterprise location where I was going to drop off the car, and the manager told me he would correct the bill when I returned the car. He gave me his name and told me to ask for him. When I got to the Enterprise location and asked for the manager I was told he was unavailable. The person checking out the car said they would not get involved because it was an out of state contract. I called the Kerrville Enterprise office and I asked for the guy who rented me the car and a woman asked me to explain the problem. When I told her I was overcharged she told me I got a great deal because they usually charged a dollar a mile! What the heck is she talking about?!! So, I called the Enterprise headquarters and a woman took my information and looked up the bill and said she would take care of it and after two weeks I heard nothing! I called back and spoke to someone else and they told me they could not release any information, nor give me an address or an email address to complain. The guy said he would take care of it. I said I wanted an email address and a service address to file a complaint and he refused. I hung up and called back and a woman gave me an address and an email address and I have not heard back from them! I would never rent from any Enterprise ever again! read more

Tried to rent a car through Enterprise - booked it through the website. Got there at 11, thinking that I was early to a noon pick-up, discovered that I'd accidentally booked for 3, they asked me to return then. That wasn't their fault, it was my own error, so I agreed and my lovely friend that was giving me a ride agreed to take me back. I returned at 3, and went to rent the car, only to be told that I couldn't rent it. I have an out of state license and a debit card. For some reason this meant that I could not rent the car that I've been counting on renting. The one that is going to take me out of state the very next day. I have no car of my own. My friend had driven for an hour and a half to pick me up and take me to Kerrville to rent this car. Nowhere on the website did it say that I needed to have an in-state ID... Why would I? How would anyone ever rent cars at airports or *anywhere* if they needed an in-state ID? I was stuck with no car, an hour and a half away from home, about to leave the state and move 2500 miles away the very next day. Crying at the counter, with no idea of what I was going to do. The man behind the counter looked vaguely uncomfortable, mumbled that we should have gone over this when I'd come in at 11, and left me to my own devices without so much as a backward glance. It was short, it was humiliating in a store full of customers, and the customer service when it came to even being remotely caring about a terrified, sobbing person standing before them with no idea of where to go or what to do next was appalling. read more

I'm sitting here at enterprise and I've been dealing with them for a month switching cars (by choice) and what not and every time they have been so helpful and great . I will continue to use enterprise. The whole reason I decided to write this post is because this poor girl Eva is here by herself because everyone else is sick or picking up people. She is doing the best she can and I can tell she is trying to get to everyone as fast as possible and she is being so sweet... I would've snapped on someone by now lol... But of course there's rude ass people in here bitching about every thing possible and they can clearly tell it's busy and it's just her but they are just bitching. So I just want to say good job Eva for keeping your cool and still being courteous to these jack asses even though they didn't deserve it. read more

Most horrible rental experience I have ever had. Made a reservation prior to the auctal date with a confirmed agreement that they would meet us at the body shop at a specific time and when that time came they had no idea! Horrible customer service. And when called they said the quickest they could be there was 45 mins, the enterprise isn't even 10 mins away! On top of that they were rude, needs less then a one star. read more

I contacted enterprise, asking for the smallest, cheapest car, since the a.c. had gone out in mine and it was in the shop. I was given a more expensive car, had asked for a discount that I did not receive, and when I contact corporate, they took my name and number, saying someone would get right back to me. Paid full price, OVER $340, then notice I was charged another $24 for a day they said I would owe nothing on. Ran by a bunch of young kids that don't give a crap about anyone when they are told I couldn't afford the car they made me take, after they told me and had the other cheaper car for me. I don't normally care much for Enterprise and its selection of vehicles, but I truly like this location. The manager, Travis C., treats my family and I well. Any problems that need to be addressed, not a problem. They can even pick me up from home or the body shop, which are 30 and 45 miles away, respectively. The local Hertz locations have horrid customers service. The other perk, is that Enterprise's minimum qualifications to work at the customer counter is a bachelors degree. It sets me at ease dealing with other educated people who are proficient and do their job well. read more

Had to use them through insurance company. They gave me a car that needed mechanical work. It made a horrible grinding noise when you drove it. When I went back to get a different car, I told the guy there was something wrong with the car when you drove it and I would like a different car. The guy that helped me said let's go take a look. He went out and backed it up 2 feet then forward 2 feet. He then stepped out and said the car was fine and handed me the keys and just looked at me. No customer service was given that day. I said thanks for nothing and left. I am thankful no money came out of my pocket. I will never use them again. read more

Reasonable pricing, fantastic customer service, and great overall experience. My wife and I were able to get a Ford F-150 for a weekend trip recently and it certainly made our trip much more enjoyable and comfortable! We booked the rental through the Kerrville branch to be ready to leave from San Antonio and the entire process was quick and painless thanks to Preston! Unlike most places nowadays, we didn't feel like a number, but a person. They even went specifically out of their way to work with another branch to get an F-150 for us. These people have gone out of their way to get a car for us that we are comfortable with. I had to turn the first one in. They have been wonderful during this whole process. They are always friendly and helpful..have not had any major problems with them. I do wish the cars had a full tank of gas though so it would be easier when returning them... trying to return the car with 3/8 of a tank is tricky so I generally wind up donating some gas to them read more
