He was super responsive and able to get us in on the upcoming Saturday. The bus itself is really nice, great sound system. Rick and Erica texted us before we arrived to ask if we wanted an array of coffee from the coffee bar on board and we were greeted with our orders. We also had so many snacks and drinks available. One of the greatest things is that this isn't a preselected tour and you can go where you please during the allotted time. They even dropped us in town for dinner at the end of our time. We can't thank them enough and highly recommend using this service in Fredericksburg. Thanks for making our girls trip amazing!

First and foremost I appreciate the professionalism shown by Cadye with her prompt emails and answering all of my questions. She and Clint put together an awesome itinerary, our only ask was to tour Slate Theory. Everything else was suggested and curated by Cellar Rat. Second I appreciate Clint, for the whole experience the day of the tour. We paid for a private tour and it was just that. He sent a text the morning of the tour to let me know when he was set to arrive. He arrived 1 minute early in the SUV and greeted us when we came out. He had a cooler in the truck with ice and water. He is well versed in all things vino and super down-to-earth. We started the tour at Texas Wine Collective where they rolled out the red carpet. We were doing the tour on a Monday so we pretty much had the whole winery/tasting room to ourselves. Sandy at Texas Wine Collective was awesome, ask for her if you visit. While we did our tasting, Clint went to grab our lunch from Fresh Pickens. The food was AWESOME! It hit the spot definitely after all the wine and cheese Sandy gave us! After lunch, we took some photos around the property then hopped in the SUV and on to the next winery, Kuhlman Cellars. Where we were met by Malachi. Malachi served us a flight of 5 wines, 3 selected by Kuhlman and 2 selected by my wife and me. We took a couple of photos out near the vines then headed on to the last winery, Slate Theory. Slate Theory's tasting room is by far the best experience. Words can't explain it. By the time we got to Slate Theory we didn't really want to learn about the wine, we just wanted to drink; and that we did. We hung out there for about an hour before heading back to the Airbnb. Great day of drinking! Met some awesome people and got to enjoy my wife on our anniversary. Clint knew everybody by the way, definitely makes the difference when you visit because you feel like family at each location. The only thing I would change about the tour would be to add an actual tour of the facilities and vineyard to the experience. I'm a visual learner and it would be cool to tour the distillation area and barreling process while learning about the wines. All in all, I give Cellar Rat Tours 5 STARS "A+++". PS: Slate Theory charged us for the wine tasting and Clint stepped in and handled the situation and orchestrated the refund to our credit card. This guy does it all! He's our main man for real. The driver came at 12:49 and was rushing us to come out. We came out at 12:57 within the given window. The bus was packed and we still picked up one more couple to fill every seat. We went to 3 tasting rooms. Some with grapes growing, some not. We really liked 1 of the wineries (Bingham), disliked the first stop (pontotoc) and indifferent to the last stop (Ari's$. Our driver Barry played the piano the whole time we were at Bingham which was cool. Overall it's a solid option at a mid range price for the area.

Josh took us to 4 wineries personalized to our tastes. Your tour is likely going to be nothing like ours. If you want a distillery tour they can do that too. 2) new, clean vehicle. My mom has mobility issues. Getting in and out of a shuttle isn't the easiest. We could relax in this SUV and she had no issues getting out of it. 3) private service. Josh was our photographer, tour guide and even purse holder for the day. He knows a lot about wine! At the end of our tour he brought in all of our wine! We could do things at our own puce. 4) the price was comparable to other services. The price does not include tastings but that is ok. Sometimes you just want a glass or two. Overall, I would highly recommend this service!

Perfect for a girls trip!…read more My friend group of 9 girls rented out Brooke's Bubble Bus to take us winery hopping in Fredericksburg. The bus is large, pink, and filled with neon lights! They allow wine/Prosecco on the bus and gave us some water and goodie bags. Our bus driver, Ronnie #2, was fantastic! Such a gentlemen. He walked us inside each winery and made sure we were all good to go before returning to the bus. We visited Blumenthal Farms, Barons Creek Vineyards, and The Edge. We didn't get a choice on wineries, but enjoyed all of our stops!

Bob was our driver and his great demeanor added to our great day. He knew the area and many of the locations as he used to be the head football coach at Dripping Springs High School. He would check in on us during the winery to see if we needed anything or have any questions, and he would offer to help us take multiple pictures. He also got one of the wineries to allow us to explore their cellars! On our last day in Austin, he drove by our airbnb to pick up someone else and honked at us as we waited for our uber. We were all so happy to see him again, as we all enjoyed our experience with him. I recommend Texas Tipsy Tours with Arlen ;)
