I tried to call this office 5+ times during working hours this morning but they don't answer their phones. When I came in, I had to wait over 10 min just standing in the office while one worker at the counter was on the phone and the other girl just walked around doing stuff and wouldn't help me until someone else came in to get in line behind me. My reservation was for noon, but the car was not ready at that time.... They said it would not be ready until 12:30. The lady in the office was rude, had no personality never made eye contact with me and never smiled. I needed the car to travel to Flagstaff for a doctor's appointment. After I got the car it rattled so bad, with trying to decide if I wanted to drive 2 hours listening to it rattle and other obstacles I wasn't going to make my appointment, I took the car back. I had it approximately 1 1/2hrs. They changed me the full amount. I know they need to change but $117.00 for 1 1/2 hrs. Terrible customer service. I called requesting a pickup this morning they told me to call back 30 minutes before my appointment. I have called 5 times back to back sat on the phone for 12 minutes each time before it hangs up on you. I told them to lock me in I'm stuck at a truck stop not going anywhere. He said it was policy because people don't show up. They need to implement a better policy. Perhaps calling to confirm instead of people wasting their time. read more

Nick and the other staff members have always been very helpful and very friendly whenever I rent a car. Their customer service skills are great. The only thing I don't like are the automated texts that come throughout and after renting the car. They're kind of annoying, but definitely not a deal breaker. read more

Really? You won't rent a car to anyone with an out of state drivers license. We just moved here to Arizona from California and I needed to rent a car while mine was in the shop. But U-HAUL rents to anyone with an out of state license!!! I'm sure the cars you rent out cross state lines all the time. Do better. read more

It should not take an hour and a half to rent a car. It especially shouldn't since I booked it online almost a week before I would be picking it up. When I walked in there were 3 people in front of me in line. That's not what irritated me. It took about a half hour to wait in line and then get checked in. However, my wait for them to "clean and prepare the car" was ridiculous. It took an hour! Why wouldn't y'all have these cars ready to go? Don't you clean them when people drop them off? It seems to me that that would be smarter so you're not so backed up. You do know that there are most likely going to be folks coming in daily to rent cars, right? The city of Kingman only has one car rental place. It's you! I think you could benefit from hiring more help. You only had 2 people working the front desk and you have 2 desks with space for 2 people to work at each desk. You should also hire a few more car washers because clearly it takes a lot of time to run a car through a car wash and vacuum them (and I'm thinking maybe the car wash is not located on property). We had rented a car for a cross country trip, Buffalo, NY to Camarillo, CA and back. On our way back the transmission light come on, letting us know that it was overheating. It was fluctuating from 160°-172°. After the suggestion and general directions from a very helpful mechanic (24/7 Diesel) we came to Enterprise for a rental replacement. As soon as we arrived we were quickly greeted by a friendly Enterprise representative, Devon Moma. We informed her of our situation, she took down our rental information and went back inside to see what was available. We had a Jeep Compass and needed something in the same size or larger since we had a ton of camping equipment. We couldn't just get into any sedan. After a minute or so she came back an informed us that there had been a cancellation and that we could take a Ford Expedition, a larger vehicle than what we currently had. She joked that we could camp in the vehicle. Legit we could, this thing is a tank. After taking the mileage and gas information from both vehicles she moved the Expedition closer to the Jeep so that we could easily transfer our camping equipment from one car to the other. This whole experience could have been a nightmare. But Devon helped make it a smooth of a transition as possible. Kinda wish I had taken a photo with her to share it here. Worst service I got. I made reservation just for them to tell me they have no cars to give me on the day of. And told me to wait. 5 hours later still waiting. No compensation. No nothing. Just tell me they can't give me a car this day and for me to wait another day. The hoops you must jump for not having an Az. license with proof of residency, dogs vaccination date, last utility bill and three references. The people are nice inside and getting good reviews are very important to them as they are to everybody and I understand that. I would like to give them a five but the first car I got they only was the only car they had, which was a tiny tiny car, and it was a tough drive to say the least and then the second time I made and prepaid a reservation I got a large van, which was extremely hard to drive to California and back and eat a lot of gas so I guess all I can say is that Kingman is a small town and you get what you get. However, they did tell me to call them personally next time and they would do it every they could to help me so like I say the customer service inside is very good. read more

Booked a rental car on 5/18/2018 for a planned trip On 07/27/2018.Went to go pick up rental car on 07/27/2018 with no car to pickup. They had no cars on lot. I even got a reservation reminder email on 07/26/2018 reminding me of my reservation. Why would you send a reminder reservation email if you have no cars. Should have sent me a email saying they won't have a car for me. I had a plane to catch on same day. They didn't car just kept saying they had no cars. Thanks to Hertz car rental in BHC,AZ I was able to pick up a car and make it to airport to catch my flight. Hertz had wonderful customer service and was willing to help me out. Amazing customer service here; the team is phenomenal and George did a great job taking care of me when I recently needed to extend my rental for a few days (body shop working on my car). Enterprise treated me very well despite my stressed emotional state and clearly put customer service as a priority. Compact car was great and had good gas mileage too. Lovely staff. I had rented a car in Tucson and when I reached Kingman the tire pressure light was on. It had been on when I picked up the car, but Tucson had put air in and assured me I would be fine. Nope, less than 12 hours later and the light was back on. I went to Kingman and asked for help. The lovely lady at the desk sent me to Superior Tire down the road, who does their tires for them. She was very apologetic and understood my frustration. I scheduled my vehicle for pickup at 3pm on a Friday, and I even showed up 15 min early for paperwork and whatnot. I had to wait close to 45 min because the vehicle I rented was being used by an employee to go on her lunch break. I didn't leave the lot with the vehicle until 3:35, even though they put down on the receipt that the vehicle out time was 2:52. The next day I had called while at a volunteer event and requested that they stay open an extra 10 min because I was running late. I wasn't doing it on purpose, in fact, I was volunteering at an event which is why I rented the vehicle in the first place. They told me they couldn't, even after I reminded them I had to get the car late because their employee was using it for lunch. Luckily, I was able to hurry up and leave the event and return the vehicle with 10 min to spare. Not even an apology or anything for the bullshit they gave me. This is the first time I've had a bad experience with enterprise and I have rented from them several times minus this location. Pretty sure corporate will be hearing from me too. read more

Ricki, Robert and Amber were always amazing and they were the only reasons we became platinum members with Enterprise Rent A Car. For doctor appointments and my son's travel soccer team we continuously rented for nearly a year. Once they brought on Jessica, although pleasant personality, there was nothing but billing issues. We were charged anywhere from $3 over to over $1000 more than what we should of been for our weekly/monthly rentals. This issue is still NOT sorted. Enterprise owes us over $2000!!!!! Escalated to regional, area and corporate level employees but they have only claimed their accountants can't figure out how we were overbilled. We were promised on the phone and over email a refund for the overages, but now three months later this has NOT happened. Disputed immediately with the bank and their corporate sent a fax stating their overages were legit! They are beyond unethical and stole our money. NEVER make the mistake we did! The Enterprise rep said that they were closing too soon to get a car tonight but to call in the morning and we would have one for sure. Broke down in Kingman Az had to leave my car for a few days so I decided to rent a car to continue on to Vegas . We had the most worst experience ever!!! I will leave out names but the man who was suppose to be helping us out was the most arrogant man in customer service. The lack of respect not to mention his on going rant how he use to be a manager at a tire shop and called his boss about a question he was uncertain about. This "Man" proceeds to tell me that he thinks his boss is wrong so he was going to call his boss. This is the ONLY location in Kingman AZ that you need to call to make reservations. They always have your best interest and are willing to work with you to find your best needs. Randi, the manager that helped us was so incredibly friendly. She was helpful when we were turned away from the other car rental in town due to lack of inventory (even though we had a reservation). Randi graciously helped us with a last minute reservation and came out to the car to show us how everything works. She is an amazing asset to the business there and I highly recommend using them when you are in Kingman! read more

Sooooooooo my car overheated in the middle of nowhere in the Arizona desert and I ended up being towed to a repair shop in Kingman, Arizona. I needed a new radiator and a bunch of other stuff and the work would take like 6 hours so my friends and I decided to leave the car there, rent a car and head on over to our real final destination, the Grand Canyon! The phone book offered several options for car rental companies. I picked this place out of the phone book for one reason: They pick you up from your hotel and take you to the rental place. The manager was super friendly over the phone and sent Amber Libertini to pick us up. She was super nice. I really like people who don't make you feel like shit just cause your car broke down (especially when you are a girl). She needed a credit card and when I only had a debit card she was quick to solve the problem. She talked to her manager and then called the repair shop to make sure my car was there and would be ready the next day. We were out of there in about 15 minutes! When we returned our car an hour later the next day (we were taking a trillion pictures of the Grand Canyon and just could not leave) Amber said it was not a problem because our car was in the repair shop and they take that into consideration. I've been using enterprise about 10-20 times a year for the last 15 years at multiple locations in different states and I've never had a problem. I don't know why this location is so different from all the other locations, it doesn't even seem like I'm dealing with the same company. Whenever I've tried to deal with this location I've always had problems. If you need to rent a car I would highly recommend that you avoid this location. They never have cars available, they always find a way to mess up your reservation, all the employees are unhelpful and rude, and the prices are incredibly unreasonably waaaay more expensive than they should be. read more

I broke down in Kingman and needed some wheels temporarily. I requested an economy rental. It wasn't returned when I arrived (and I arrived over an hour later than planned), but luckily another patron returned a Hyundai Tucson that they (Ricci Raidy assisted me throughout the entire rental experience). I take the Tucson without them even cleaning it and I was cool with that. I had a pleasant experience with the car. Upon return I was charged an extra 1 HOUR FEE which is totally BOGUS! I TOOK the car later than stated on the receipt and I returned it EXACTLY at the same time 2 days later BUT they printed it up as 36 minutes later---not taking into consideration that there were customers being served ahead of me so I wasn't "checked back in" at MY actual return time anyway. I was also lied to when I mentioned the TOTAL bill seemed higher than quoted at pick up. Ricci Raidy brushed it off as "TAXES"! NOPE lady, be honest and say you charged me an extra hour---even though I was ON TIME---even though it was only 36 minutes on paper---AND even though I had to wait about 20 minutes to be helped and finalize the rental. read more

This place charged me criminally when i rented a car and it was stolen even after the car was recovered.

We were so lucky to find this rental car place. We broke down on a Friday. Got our RV towed to a repair shop, started to walk a mile and a half to our hotel and the heat was draining for us and the poor dog. We happened upon them. They were closed when we got there, but the friendly lady sitting inside was awesome and chose to help us and rent us a car for a couple days while we waited for our RV repairs. She even let our pooch in to cool off in the A.C. and get fresh cold water. Thank you! I didn't catch your name but this is what customer service is all about. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. We were in a not at fault accident recently and were approved for a rental through Enterprise. We were told that there was no car available in our class and that we would have to call back periodically to check on the status (to see if one had been returned). They out right refused to upgrade us to the next class and when we inquired about obtaining a vehicle in another city they said that they were in the same boat and could not help us. We ended up having to change our reservation and drive to Las Vegas in order to obatin a rental vehicle. I am very dissatisfied and will never use Enterprise in Kingman again. On a brighter note we have never been treated in this manner in all the years we have used Enterprise. If the vehicle was not available they would move us up into the next vehicle class free of charge. read more

Well, it was not a good experience. I rented a car and arranged for pick up. I was given a pickup time but the car wasn't there 30 minutes after the promised time. I called and was told that the driver wouldn't be there for another 30-60 minutes. I had an appointment in another state and couldn't wait any longer. I jumped in my own vehicle and drove 6 hours in my own car to my appointment. There was never an apology given. read more
