The receptionist always knows where people are, even though several of the agents now work out of their home. They are unfailingly polite, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I have worked recently with Diane Nickelatti, who did a perfect trip for me to Disney World and Universal Studios in April. It couldn't have been better. Today I worked once again with Sherry Westby who has helped me several times in the past. She is a true professional, and helped out our group of four, even though we didn't have an appointment. She saved us a ton of money, not to mention time. She suggested options that we didn't even consider. In the long run, it is much more economical to use a company like Travel Leaders, rather than try to plan this on our own. My husband and I are both pretty Internet savvy, but I can tell you that working with this office has saved me considerable time and money. They charge a nominal fee for booking tickets, but that is a drop in the bucket compared to the cost savings that they implement. KUDOS!

I was a little nervous but based on the research I did online the place seems to be universally loved. Let me start out by saying that every expectation I had was exceeded. We stayed in the Library Room and it had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The owners are very nice and made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door. All amenities were provided and I didn't feel like I was in need of anything. My only nitpick was that the wireless internet was very slow and cell phone reception was not good. But I was on vacation to get away from city life, so I can't really say this was a bad thing at all. I was a bit concerned that there would be large spiders or roaches or something, but we did not see any bugs whatsoever in the room, everything was as clean as could be. The house is charming and immaculate. My other concern going in was that there is a biker bar right across the street. Luckily every single person in this area of Wisconsin acts civilized and polite so that turned out to be a non-issue. If I ever find myself in the Westby/La Crosse area again, I will 100% be returning to Westby House Inn. If you're on the fence about this place, I say go ahead and do it. You will not be disappointed.

This was our anniversary week so I ordered the anniversary package was in our suite upon arrival and very nice. I found it rather strange that we were give a time be in the dining room for breakfast rather that a time frame. I was also somewhat surprised that the breakfast on both days was more like having hors d"oeuvres rather that a country style breakfast. The food at some of the local establishment including the bar across the street where more filling.The owner didn't seem to be a warm and inviting as some of out other B&Bs, and it wasn't until our second morning that the owner came out and talked to us about the history of the house. All and all, the stay in the area was delightful and we did find a few treasures at the local antique shops. As for stay here again, I thing we will search for another B&B.

The building doesn't look like much from the outside but has been lovingly redecorated on the inside. It is a vacation rental so you rent a whole condo with rooms to sleep a group. Each condo has a large screen TV and a full kitchen. You can also rent the meeting room for events - parties, meetings, or classes. The owner Ruth is just great. She is a local and has lots of great recommendations for places to go and things to do.
