I appreciate your "canned" response, telling me to contact you. I did, and I am. Just a few questions. 1. Is it your policy to lie to customers. When the manager told me they did not have the specific vehicle I needed and was CONFIRMED for, when they didn't have it, (or the customers in front of me too), why did he reference Formula 1 race that is scheduled for this weekend, as one of the reasons he did not have car available? Since mine was a 1 day rental, why did he lie telling me it was because of a race that is scheduled literally 1 week away? So was he implying it takes a week to clean a re-fuel a vehicle. Or, just lying to me? 2. When I told him that's BS, he them said we have a lot of vehicles that had recalls. Oh, ok. Well, when I called to verify my CONFIRMED vehicle the day before, why didn't he tell me then the vehicle I needed was in service. Ya wanna know why? Because it's the second lie he told me. Is thus standard procedure to lie to your customers when you screw up?? When I go to dinner, hair appointments, doctor visits, etc., I have appointments. Why is that not good enough for a car rental company? Why don't t you call customers in advance and tell them we don't have your specific vehicle. You sent me what seems like 100 emails and text messages reminding me about my car. WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL TO TELL ME YOU DD NOT HAVE VEHICLE? Crickets. By him not calling, I wasted 20 minutes of my time, and $20 in taxi fees, not to mention the $400 + I spent having to rent a van with no notice. Another suggestion was to rent me two vehicles. Let me make sure I got this right. It's a family trip to the Grand Canyon with my family. Are you suggesting we stop every few minutes to say to one another, "WOW, did you see that beautiful mountain range"? "Ok family, let's get back into our TWO separate cars and drive a bit further done the road and do it again. Beyond stupid. Or, are you suggesting we call each other while driving?? Came to pick up my rental which I usually get a nissian or similar. They gave me the smallest stock car with no tint. On the way to Cali the seat sensors kept going off every 10mins for my drive. I told the Asian guy in the beginning that it was small and asked if they had anything else. They didn't. I don't think this location has a wide selection of cars,trucks,SUV's. If you don't specifically reserve a nice car online, you're gonna get jipped. I had to swap this small stock car out in Cali for a nicer suv which came out cheaper in the end. The staff basically told me to reserve it at the bigger location since their location is small & doesn't get the perks of a bigger one??? Wait, so you don't want my business?? I came here bc it's closer to my house. Why can't they just hold more cars in the back for unexpected situations like mine...makes no sense. Sounds like people are just being lazy to me. read more

Update: Enterprise responded to my review below, asking me to call Customer Service, which I did. After supplying them with all the information, they looked it up and said the charge was for changing vehicles. When I explained why that was not a basis for the charge and that the money had been credited to my account. They said, "well, I guess it's been resolved, then." They indicated they didn't need to talk to me. So... Enterprise's response below is an effort to APPEAR responsive to others, when it was really just an additional waste of my time. Hey... H.H., Business manager, if you really want to talk to me, give me a call. I'll message you my phone number. ____________________________________________________________ They attempted to add $421 to my bill. I rented an SUV from them through Priceline. When I got to Enterprise, I told them I'd just as soon have a sedan, as long as it's the same price. I was very clear on that point. The guy in the garage with the cars said, "Take that one" and gestured to an Audi A3. It had some cool features, but I wouldn't have paid anything more for it. I've been given upgraded cars in the past at no extra charge, so I thought nothing of it. I always tell them I prefer the smallest car they have. That makes parking easier. When I get home, I see a $421 charge from Enterprise on my card (in addition to having paid Priceline, in full, in advance). My bank and I spend over an hour on the phone trying to get an explanation. Ultimately, the best anyone could tell us was that it was for excess mileage. My contract was for unlimited mileage. My best guess is that they charged me for the mileage on the Audi - which is considered a "Premium Special" vehicle. Ultimately, my card took the $421 off my account. I don't know if Enterprise even responded. If they'd just told me, "No... you have to take the SUV or pay more for another car" that would have been fine. I'd have taken the SUV. I spent multiple hours getting this sorted out. read more

After not being able to be helped at hertz, Hope was able to help me get squared away for my trip. Upon retuning the vehicle Amo (not sure if I spelled his name correctly) completed my vehicle check and answered all my questions (this was my first rental vehicle and was not entirely clear on the return process) he also set me up with a ride back home. The location was severely short-staffed on a recent Saturday morning. Manager Andrew turned out to be a great problem-solver and helped procure a rental car that fit our reservation needs. The two-day rental ran smoothly and efficiently for the road trip. When it came time to return the car, Andrew was there yet again to assist with the return. I even got a courtesy ride by someone else (forgot the name) to my next destination! Friendly chap who had just moved there. The deposit returned back onto my credit card in short order afterwards. As long as you're patient, I would highly recommend renting from this location, as opposed to the monster rental car facility. DO NOT RENT EVER!! I went on a family vacation to Los Angeles and called to extend the car. Due to staying one extra day to visit my aunt who had kidney surgery. After calling I received multiple threats and discrimination towards me saying they would report the car stolen and put out a warrant for my arrest after I asked over the phone to extend the car return date. If I could give this location and the airport location zero stars I would. I have been renting from Enterprise for the past 10 years and have never felt their customer service was so bad. I was told to come to this location after, even confirming that I could use my debit card since it was just a one day reservation at the airport. The manager Paul Woldemariam was unprofessional, unhelpful, and did nothing to help my situation. He treated me as if I was lying about using a simple debit card. My rental went so smoothly from check in to check out - I was so thankful, as I booked the same day after experiencing issues with other rental car companies requirements and availability. My wallet got stolen the week before, but thankfully Enterprise accepted a physical debit card with my passport and a valid temporary paper license. The car was clean and spacious. This location is unprofessional, deceitful , lacks communication due to them having the ability to do whatever is they want to anyone's account, hinders the ability of those who are trying to get a understanding of why these actions are taken place When the agreement has been paid in full and return w no damages. If I could give this place a 0 I would, I made a reservation beforehand and when I came in I spoke with an associate today named Carleigh who claimed she was the manager and she refused to give me my vehicle because I didn't have my physical drivers license because I lost my wallet, even though I had a temporary paper drivers license and a photo of my driver's license she insisted I needed a physical copy of identification when at every location BUT here it was okay to use my temporary drivers license. If I could use my temporary one at every other location but here it really doesn't add up. I had no ride and asked if I could have transportation to another enterprise and she also said no and refused to even help me further. Made reservations for 2 cars for this location. Upon arrival, Josh asks if we really need 2 cars because they only have 1 car for us since all his others are reserved. Yes we absolutely need 2! So he offers his to take 1 and drive to another location to pick up another. Now the other location is not close! While driving to the other location the truck they gave us begins to have engine trouble. We return back to this location where Josh proceeds to tell us nothing is wrong with the vehicle. The car wouldn't accelerate and then it would just take off. Now, it's 15 minutes before they close, we no longer have a vehicle and they will NOT drive us to the other location or rent us a different class vehicle at their expense. The Enterprise staff was very rude both visits I had. I had gone in for a rental three months ago after my Honda Accord had broken down. I made a reservation online for a new Toyota Camry and paid but when I arrive at the rental car facility in person, Enterprise refused to honor my online reservation and no longer had the car or even my reservation slot saved! When I showed them my printed reservation slip, they did not even acknowledge it and tried to pawn me off to more expensive in house options. Called another to make sure the car was held for me. When I returned, the man at the counter had literally no words for me.
