The few hundred dollars may make you question, but stop that immediately, it's worth every penny. Do it. Buy it as a gift. Any car loving man or woman deserves this. Do it. On logistics, he's off the strip on Dean Martin Blvd in a discrete plaza. Look for a car museum sign, cars are kept in doors. The process to rent was under 10 min and prices were very reasonable (insurance is included). Skip the other guys, give a legitimate small business owner a shot. Cars are in mint condition. Plus he's a nice guy.

By him not calling, I wasted 20 minutes of my time, and $20 in taxi fees, not to mention the $400 + I spent having to rent a van with no notice. Another suggestion was to rent me two vehicles. Let me make sure I got this right. It's a family trip to the Grand Canyon with my family. We didn't want to deal with the airport rental car cesspool, so I chose to pick up the car from this location, which is at the Bellagio (despite what other reviewers may say!). There was one person ahead of us picking up their car. The clerk at the desk was very friendly and helpful. He even extended my rental a few hours so I could drop off at midnight instead of my original 8 pm drop off time. He was careful to inform me that my rental Corolla had a dent on the door and to provide documentation for me in case it wasn't previously noted. The car was pretty standard for a rental and served its purpose. The best part was that I was able to zip around town for two days and use only a quarter of a gas tank. I would not hesitate to rent from this Avis again, though do note that they are closed from noon to 1 pm for lunch!
