I scheduled a sedan pick up at 10am but have been waiting there for 2.5 hours still no cars available.

Starting July 21, 2023 i rented a vehicle for an upcoming roadtrip. Was told all that was left was an all electric vehicle. If that was not okay they might have something Saturday. Might being the problematic word there. As well we wanted to be on the road before 9 AM. That was just the starts of the problems. The vehicle was not fully charged because an associate had taken the vehicle home overnight. 37% charge is unacceptable. Had to charge at my residence overnight with the adapter that came with the vehicle. Overnight only gave me charge to 57%. We had to stop to charge the vehicle way too many times. We also had a low tire turned flat by monday. Part of our trip was to Detroit. FYI Michigan is not a state for completely electric vehicles. The state does not have many chsrging locations. From where we were in Dearborn to the next charging station in Ann Arbor we would never have made it. So also, due to a flat tire we changed to an all gas vehicle at the airport. Z and Jenee went above and beyond to help us. Made sure the vehicle we had was full tank, low mileage, and clean as a whistle. The rest of the trip was smooth sailing. My recommendations; never take an EV unless you have specifically reserved it. Never accept it as being the only option. And unless you truly have no other option, really think about renting from Leominster, MA. read more

I just completed a 1 week rental from Enterprise Leominster and everything was completely flawless. I dealt primarily with Adam, I was greeted very promptly and placed at ease about the rental process. The contacted the insurance company and remained in contact with the body shop and also handled the additional days needed. I was happy the whole time but when the insurance stopped paying we were supposed to stay on the insurance plan but we didn't they took another 100 without saying a word and made me bounce a check so they suck right now I'm my eyes and I've spent 1000s with them now he manager was supposed to call me back and never did yesterday I love the car and the people are nice Adam at the leominster store anyways but then random people switch up the rules on me I don't like that part all in lol there cars are nice but ur going to pay deposit wise and car rental wise they are very expensive will try cheaper place but not now they have all my info so renting the car two more weeks from them had it over a month now read more

I am 46 years old and have NEVER felt the need to create a Yelp review until now. Absolutely horrible customer service at the Leominster Enterprise! I rented a car two days in advance of needing to drive my son to Boston for his college ACT test. No other rental location near me allowed after hours drop off (which would have required me to rent the car for two additional days). I booked the reservation online for pickup 30 minutes before closing on a Friday. I did this TWO DAYS PRIOR to my scheduled pickup. I drove 45 minutes to the Leominster office and was greeted by an employee who told me that because I live five miles north of the border in NH, I needed a credit card (which of course I didn't have on me because I wasn't told I needed it and now didn't even have time to go get because they were going to close) because my driver's license isn't from MA. NOBODY TOLD ME THIS BEFORE I DROVE 45 minutes. NOBODY CALLED OR EMAILED OR ANYTHING! So now I'm stranded, too late to rent another car elsewhere. And my son is supposed to take his ACT exam early tomorrow morning. What a HORRIBLE BUSINESS. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

Horrible customer service. Rude workers who can never give a straight answer. I have now asked multiple times for a receipt, still have not received one. I had a rental for about a month and a half. Originally was quoted right around $800 for 1 month, then I had to extend it for another 3 weeks. For those 3 weeks I was told it would be $490, which the return date would have been March 15. On the 6th I was told my contract expired and I needed to go in and start another. I WAS NOT ONCE TOLD I was signing up for another week rental and being charged another $364 on top of what I was quoted. My original quote for the extra 3 weeks, the return date was the 15th. But apparently not according to them. Now I have to fight tooth and nail to not pay this $364. I was told numerous times that last charge on my card was it. Then another shows up out of the blue, without my authorization.......AND to top this off with cherries, I was charged an extra $250 to begin with because of a mistake on their end and was told numerous times I was wrong and they were correct, they make no mistakes, which again after fighting them on it, it turns out they were wrong. But now they won't correct this mistake. Never ever will I use these people again. I have used them numerous times before, but after this, never again. I will never recommend them to anyone either. read more

I always have a good experience with this location. Usually, I get very nice cars and the team that works there is very accomodating. I pay more to rent here than at the local Hertz because the service at that Hertz has gone downhill, and the cars are frequently not as nice as what I can get at Enterprise. One thing that drives me nuts, though, is the fact that they don't deliver the cars with a full tank of gas. It would be much easier to just know I have to deliver the car back to them with a full tank rather than trying to figure out how much gas to put in to get to 3/4 of a tank. read more

This Enterprise location in Leominster MA is a gem. I have used five or six different Enterprise locations in northern New England throughout the years and there always seemed to be a problem - no car when I was scheduled to pick one up, disgruntled employees (often), and one location which would NOT let me return my car to them because it wasn't where I picked it up - despite the fact that I had made arrangements to do so. Ugh. Then I found the Leominster location and seriously - the clouds parted and the angels sang :) I have been there a dozen times and the staff has always been friendly and smiling, regardless of whether it is an employee I have dealt with in the past or not. Not a sourpuss in the bunch! They have never gotten my reservations wrong and they fixed the two problems with cars I have rented IMMEDIATELY and to my satisfaction. Want more? When they are REALLY busy it seems they become even friendlier - the atmosphere kicks up a notch and everyone is joking and laughing. Bad experience! I sure hope this was a fluke; I've never had a bad experience with Enterprise before...but I usually rent at the airports rather than a local rental. Despite reserving my car in advance it was apparently not ready as I had to wait a good 15 minutes for the agent to "bring it out front." The car had about 45,00 miles on it (Nissan Altima) and it drove like every one of those miles! When I received the car I could hear the brakes squeak as he pulled it into the spot; when I questioned that he insisted it was due to the rain, however the next day when I was 3 states away and it was dry & sunny the brakes were still squeaky! 2nd issue was that I received the car with less than a half a tank of gas...so before I could start my travel to several states away (and after being at the rental place for 20-25 minutes in total), the first thing I had to do before I could start my trip was go to the gas station! 3rd issue was a notable shimmy in the front end when driving highway speeds, especially if having to brake due to traffic. Lastly (and not entirely Enterprise's fault) a very large black bug (I think it may have been a large carpenter ant...or looked like that at least) crawls across the ceiling as I'm on the highway...I flicked it down, saw it crawling a couple more times...couldn't get it even though I pulled over...never saw it again...but it was in there SOMEWHERE...longest 4 hour drive home in the lousiest rental car I've ever rented! P.S. also lots of animal hair in crevices, center console, trunk, etc. Main areas of vehicle appeared clean...but the detail work was not done. Gross! read more
