I rented a vehicle from them and was charged twice as much as the car I would have rented in Marlborough had it been available. I also mentioned that I had tripple A and this was not honored. Over the phone I was told I have to wait till I get to the enterprise office to get the discount. When I got there, I was told something different and that they would not apply the AAA discount. I was given a car with tire warning light illuminated. I told them I did not want to be stuck an hour away with a client I am required to drive to medical apts and errands and have a flat tire. They gave me a different car a Kia and that was better. I would have given them five stars had they honored my AAA membership and charged me a reasonable amount and not twice as much as I would have paid at Marlborough location. read more

I walked in trying to get service, the manager straight lied to me in the face about having any available rentals (it was 4:50 PM, they closed at 5 and he had plenty of cars.) He subsequently absolutely refused to allow me to speak to any manager or assist me in any fashion. read more

Customer service was slightly better compared to other nearby locations however - the franchise as a whole has TERRIBLE customer service. Warning, there is a reason why their rating is so low. Rented a Corolla over holiday break. Got into a minor fender bender that want my fault, my insurance agree, the other insurance agree, rental company agree. This is not the bad part. Predictably the other insurance won't cover it, my insurance estimated 750 which is below my deductible. But the rental company wanted over 1300. Was quick to take my 1k deductible and kept on coming after me for the rest. I mean, it's a minor fender bender on a Corolla, even in Boston where labor is expensive, I fixed my civic with more damage for less than 1K.... I do t know what kind of body shop they use, but grossly over charged. Whatever, paid them but will never use again. read more

I have been having some trouble with my vehicle this winter, and while it is being serviced, I needed to rent a car for a week. I made reservations through the internet, to pick up here, as it is only a few miles from my office. Can I just tell you, the service at this location is phenomenal! I walked in, and I think his name was Justin, greeted me with a smile. After handing him a copy of my reservation, license and credit card, had me ready to go within minutes. While they cleaned up the vehicle, he and a few of the other young ladies in the office were very engaging and made me feel like I was truly a valued customer. They pulled the car around, a brand new Ford Fusion. We did the walk around to inspect for any damage, and within moments, I was on the road home. The way they treated me, as a customer, was very much appreciated and will not be forgotten. As anyone having car troubles can attest, the last thing you need to worry about is continuing your daily life. The staff here at Enterprise Westborough made this experience easy, quick, and painless. (And honestly, didn't hurt too much in the wallet, either!) 50% OFF, Weekend Rental Time! This time I booked through the internet (just a bit cheaper than at the desk) and had ABSOLUTELY a great experience, once again. I said hello to Jeff, who helped me with my Chevy Aveo last time I was here, and gave him a thumbs up for his pix that I posted here. Jonathan T. helped me this time, to get into my Kia Rio and he did so with the courtesy and professionalism befitting of the Enterprise reputation. He even turned on the A/C for me before I got into the car. So far, I like the Kia Rio for comfort in the ride. I'll be evaluating the gas mileage and compare to the Aveo when my experience is complete. Note about booking your rental. I was going to book for this weekend shortly after I wrote my last review. At the time, the entire weekend was only 48$ or so for 3 days. Well, snooze you lose. I booked today and it was 60$ or so. $60 is not much more considering my personal vehicle gas mileage, but I would have been dancing for joy (in my mind) all weekend if I got the $48 (I live a simple life). As has been my experience thus far, Westborough Enterprise Rental is the place to go when you want them to pick you up in every professional way that they can! read more

Absolute clowns here! Zero starts if I could. I had a reservation 4 days in advance for a Tahoe. I received a text the day before that I was on a wait list. I called and was told by the agent that the vehicle was mine and it shouldnt be an issue. I arrived to pick up said vehicle and was told too bad so sad (literally) by Duante. He refused to help, said there was nothing he could do. Refused to give me his managers info, stated he didn't have corporates number. He was so dismissive. He stated that his manager called me which never happened, I even showed him my call history and the text I received that I called back to confirm the vehicle was mine. I then called customer service and they stated that there was nothing they could do either. I asked how it was possible for me to reserve a vehicle that wasn't available and got nothing! I've done business with Enterprise for every trip I've gone on, after this I will go out of my way to avoid using them ever again! read more

Had a warranty rental given to me while my vehicle was in the shop. Tried getting a different vehicle after several days which I was unsuccessful. Also had the dealership call asking if they could find me a different rental. Never received a call back even after I called multiple times. Not to mention the vehicle they put me on originally was dirty and gross. read more

Rented a compact car through Priceline (2 days 18.99 per day)and paid for collision damage(11$ per day) offered by Priceline because its cheap. When I picked the car at counter,I did not realize that I signed for enterprise Collision damage for which they charged me $22.99 per day at checkout. When I asked the manager,he advised that Priceline purchase of collision damage doesn't apply for enterprise and its of no use.At the end I payed around $103(at enterprise counter) plus $22 (Priceline collision damage) for a 2 day compact car rental!!! worst part is the car was not clean and the seats were filthy with stains all around. Manager is talkative ,be aware and know what they are taking. Take time and go through the details and ask questions before renting, otherwise you are doomed. read more

I had my second experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Oh my goodness what a great experience. What a great job they did for me. Everything from the initial phone call to see if it was a doable, to the call that Brian was on his way. He was here one minute early. He taught me a little about the car, a Nissan Sentra, ever drive one? Sharon showed me how to control the air conditioner and starting the car and fixed the seat for me to reach as well as other functions. I wish I had been taught how to turn on the heat. (Welcome to Cape Cod where you need a winter coat in June and the wind blows drops from the Sea). Very easy ride back and turning the car in Monday morning. Brian must bring 20-30 people a week back and forth. Yet he remembered not only me but exactly where I live and how to get here and back. A fantastic experience. I even got credit for refilling the gas tank more than what I got. I got the car at 3/4 a tank of gas. When I refueled it put a whole tank. There aren't enough words in the Tower of Babylon to say great things about Enterprise Rental, Westborough. read more

My first review on Yelp, and sadly, it was motivated by a bad experience. I have rented from Enterprise in the past, including this very office. Always a quick and professional transaction. Nothing special, but just what you expect. This time, however, I am stranded and car less. I booked on line to reserve a car while visiting friends and family. I called to arrange pick up service. So far so good. 30 minutes after the scheduled pick up time, as nobody arrived or called me, I called the office. The young man apologized, and sent someone to get me. I finally got picked up and returned to the office, when it was discovered that I had an out of state license, and my Visa is also a debit card. They refused to rent me the vehicle. Okay, if that's policy, then my mistake, but I reserved the car, and spoke twice to an actual person in the office, and this potential problem was never brought up, nor had it been a problem any time I have ever rented a car, even from this very office. The worst part wasn't that I was left without a car and had to scramble to keep my appointments, it was that, at 44 years old I was made to feel like a stupid old man out of touch with the real world because I have decided not to have a credit card. Although professionally polite in a "Step out of the car please, Sir", kind of way, the young men and younger manager stood as one, sighing and stealing quick glances at one another, the way I used to when I had a drunk at my bar I was trying to get rid of. Simply put, if that is policy, then make it clear. Also, re think your policy. Happy ending, I called Hertz in Southboro, they picked me up, I got a better rate and no problem at all with my preferred form of payment. Lesson learned. read more

WOW, hold onto your wallet because management at the Westborough MA office of Enterprise will find every way to screw you. Customer loyalty programs are just 'bumper sticker' slogans to these folks. They will charge your credit card for services and then very difficult to amend excessive charges. I must say that the counter staff were professional and pleasant but when it comes to the locations management and Enterprise Car Rental in general, you should be concerned. Hertz or Avis are better choices in my opinion. read more

The Westborough Enterprise location's staff was wonderful to work with during our trip the the western MA area in April 2015. The Westboro store manager personally picked us up at our B&B to go get the rental car, savings us from driving to the B&B from Logan Airport in bad weather. He actually came to pick us up twice, due to communication problems, with no complaints when we were not ready to go, maintaining a very friendly, courteous, understanding attitude. The manager also helped us locate a closer Enterprise location to where we would be later in our trip, so we could drop off the car at our convenience. All in all, this was a pleasant, hassle-free rental experience. Yippee! We highly recommend this locale. (PS You may need to do a u-turn one Route 9 when picking up or returning the car. Use online maps to view and plan your route to Enterprise ahead of time.) read more

I booked online for a one week rental...toyota corolla for 204.00 unlimited mileage. It took me all of 5 minutes to pick up and the same to drop off. Friendly guys behind the counter, no pressure for me to take the collision and other protection. I used this location recently because my car was at the auto body shop due to a recent accident. The other person was at fault so their insurance went through Enterprise to get me a replacement car while I waited for my repairs to finish. Fortunately, I didn't have to pay for my rental because my experience was underwhelming at best. First, they don't have many cars in each class. This was a concern because the car (a Chevy Cruze) they had ready for me was not very new and had not been properly cleaned (if cleaned at all). While the salesperson apologized that the car was not fully cleaned, I had to ask for them to go back and clean it for me. He didn't automatically say they would take care of it. Moreover, if it wasn't ready they should have offered me a free upgrade. Instead, they only offered to knock the price down $2/day if I wanted to go up a class. Only a $2/day discount?! This still would have cost me $75 for a 2-week rental that should have been completely free, so I declined. As a result, I had to wait for the customer rep to go back and properly clean the car for me. What a waste of time! Again, the car (a Chevy Cruze) is not very new, and the engine hesitates a bit. Because they don't have many cars, I didn't really have a choice unless I was willing to pay more. I still have the car so I cannot speak about the return process. Nevertheless, based on what I have experienced so far I will not use this location again. read more

First to start with good pickup experience: The staff kindly opened the desk 5 minutes past the closing time (noon on weekend), so that I could pick my rental. And the staff were very friendly explaining the terms, handing over the keys etc.. Now comes the reason for giving only 2 stars: when I went to drop off the minivan, the lady at the desk asked me if I had pets in the van and I said no, because I don't have pets and didn't drive the van with anyone that had pets. She says I am lying because she saw some pet hair on the floor mats of the van; And she doesn't stop there in spite of me telling that I DID NOT HAVE PETS and possibly they were there when I picked the car. She kept blabbering on and on about her investigation ability and possibility of charging additional fees next time if I do it!!!!! This negates the over all renting experience at this location due such unprofessional and unfriendly persons. read more

I mistakingly walked into the wrong enterprise office while in Mass. vIsiting relatives. I had reserved a rental, but it was the next town over. Well that mistake made my rental car experience the best I have ever encountered. I drove my car to New York to visit the World Trade Center museum. Then, I drove to Newark airport for my flight to Florida. Just before entering the highway on my was towards Newark airport, an alert in the vehicle told us our tire was flat. We happened upon a closed Enterprise dealer and left the car there because road service was not responding. When our credit card was overcharged for late returns, and wrong return site it was Pamela who came to our rescue. I cannot more highly recommend this Enterprise and Pamela for your next rental. Can't give them 0 stars or I would. Receptionist Stephanie is rude and inconsiderate. Manager Mike is terrible and rude. Enterprise charged me $200 for no reason with no idea why, I had to fight with Stephanie to get her to refund my money. Next day after still not receiving a refund, got manager Mike who told me the refund was in process and I had to wait 1-2 days (claiming it was a computer glitch). Considering they stole my money, with no approvals from me to charge anything, you would think it would be returned faster. Corporate office confirmed the "Westborough manager entered in the charge", and had no idea why he did that since the car had not be returned (was in the system as returned) and it was a service rental and I should have been charged nothing. Stolen money from Managers at Westborough Enterprise with no one including Corporate knowing why they charged it. Watch your accounts CLOSE! read more
