We are driving from GA-MI and when we went to pick up our 3-row car at a different rental company, they did not have the car for us and by the end we ended up at an enterprise in Atlanta. While they still didn't have the right size car, they helped us quickly and we got a car. The 5 of us (3 adults, 2 teenagers) crammed into a sedan for the first half of the drive. Last night we stayed in Lexington. This morning we went to the enterprise at the airport in Lexington and it wasn't open, though all the other rental companies were. We finally found this enterprise on Winchester, which was open. They were able to get us a minivan, which was perfect! Cade was a life saver, along with the others (I forgot your names already) who cleaned the van. We were happy to take it dirty but they did the best they could and we are all now ready to drive the rest of the way to MI in comfort. Cade was so nice and helpful and got everything squared away very quickly. Honestly, everyone we saw and spoke with was great and all 5 of us are very happy (including the teenagers!). Thank you Cade and all the others! You are a lifesaver and if any of us are ever needing another rental in Lexington or know someone who is, you will definitely be our recommendation! Placed a confirmed reservation on 9/18 for 8am pick up on 9/21. 4 pm 9/20 received a call that Enterprise was short on cars and would be a little late, waiting for returns to come in. So i called at 9 and was told they should be able to get me by 10. When I called at 10 they said they had no idea when or even if I would get a car today. Very Poor service and the whole process demonstrates a lack of respect for customers needs, plans and time. This is not a one time event. I could not get a car in 2022 over thanksgiving weekend as there was more need than cars. It appears reservations are meaningless. You are reserving the possibility of a vehicle. Update 12/15/2018: Landon Mills with Enterprise reached out to me via email with an apology. We went back and forth for a month. He asked what Enterprise could do, and I just mentioned a free upgrade, because I'm always renting vehicles. So, I rented at their Airport location with no issues, and the clerk at this location, Daniel Pitman was friendly and attentive. I accepted the apology, but I can honestly say that I will not be back to the Winchester Road location. There won't be a fourth time. As I told Daniel, why would a rental agency believe it's okay to give me something dirtier than what I use to drive to work? Why would a rental agency believe it's okay to chastise a customer; a customer that happens to be Deaf, and depends on lip reading and note pad for conversations? That is nuts! So I did something that probably few people do and that is to retract a claim I put in through with my insurance company. I literally paid everything out of pocket. Even the last day I had rented a car from here, I was able to get my All State rate for one day of rental and that is amazing (I assumed Enterprise would charge me the regular rate). It really helps when things are going your way and this location, did it again. Of course, they still do not pick up from the location my mechanic was at. My mechanic was pretty annoyed at all this, but hey, I cannot state that Enterprise has provided bad service to me thus far. read more

This is the location that we rent trucks from to haul our show trucks. They rent 1/2 ton and 3-4 ton which are brand new with few miles for towing. They have University of Kentucky discount and we get loyalty customer with discount at the counter. if you find yourself in need of a rental try someplace else. This business REQUIRES a major credit card to rent if you are from out of state. I recently found myself in need and required a vehicle for the weekend. Reservation experience was adequate, however, when i went in to pick up the vehicle it was only then I was informed that i would need a major credit card to rent the vehicle. I am retired military and have rented from enterprise from many airports world wide, and this is the first time i was ever REQUIRED to have a major credit card. It would have been helpful if i was informed at the reservation stage, especially since I was given the choice of reserving the vehicle with my debit. So, I left the business and walked back to my residence (In the rain) vowing NEVER to rent from enterprise again. Try someplace else if you do not have a major credit card. read more

Great experience! I had reserved a small SUV to take my elderly aunt and uncle to visit their home town, and was offered a van for the same price because more people were wanting SUV's. I was fine with that...as long as it was easy for them to get in and out of it didn't matter to me what it was. Worked out great. I'm not a van person, but this one was clean, handled well and served our purpose perfectly. Mason was courteous and explained everything to me. I haven't rented a vehicle in 20 years, so in spite of my lack of experience, he had me on the road in no time.k Since I drive a 98 Toyota Tacoma (no it's not for sale), I'm sure we'll be back again when we decide to take a trip with them. The last 2 cars I've had from this location have been ridiculously filthy. Water from the detail shop still standing on vehicle and not being wiped down causing Water marks all over each window. These marks alone cause safety issues while driving interfering with visibility. Also cigarette smoke smell coming through the air vents after I got on the car on the highway and turned on the air. There are no excuses for these vehicles going out to customers in these conditions. As I was given my last car the black gentlemen was basically ignoring my complaints about these conditions. In fact I ask him "are you listening or just hearing my complaints? ". He said " hearing". Finally at the end of my exchange with this guy, he said they don't have the time to detail the vehicles more thoroughly. However looking into their wash area I could see these works barely moving and on their cell phones. After talking to a district manager he assured me he would look into my complaint further. read more

I rented a pick up truck on line from this location. I rented for 6 days as it was not that much more than a 4 day rental. I was not able to enter the University of KY discount on line but they gave me a discount at pick up. The truck was a 2017 RAM 2500 crew cab. It had the towing package that electronically adjusted the engine on hills when towing. The truck was clean and ready to go when I got there. The truck preformed well and was comfortable with plenty of room for passengers and cargo. I averaged about 17 mpg and 11 mpg when loaded. I returned after hours and dropped the key in the drop box. The called me the next day to say that the truck was in good condition when I returned it, and what my final charge was, and that they appreciated my business. Terrible service online we booked a full size car when we got there ... as we were about to get into the car and drive away they told us some One had bought the car so they moved us to a smelly Jeep, that had alignment problems. Upon needing to keep the car longer than anticipated we made arrangements with the(Winchester rd.) location and they totally disregarded the arrangements made and came and towed the vehicle... after calling the branch (Landon) discussed with me he was aware of arrangements made and he was unaware of why they had towed the vehicle but , gave me My ending balance and that was it . Had to use a rental due to a hail storm hitting my car. My insurance company scheduled the car. I was very pleased with the Camry I used for almost a month. The staff was friendly, even driving out a car to swap me from the first one they placed me in. The alignment was bad and the Sonata pulled to the left really bad. The Camry had a left turn signal out, so I called the location and was told to take it to various locations throughout Lexington to have it repaired and the facility would bill them directly. I was not too keen on sitting at a repair shop for over an hour waiting for this to be done, but it is what it is. With having to cars with minor mechanical issues, I do highly recommend checking everything before leaving so if you have issues you can have them resolved on the spot. read more

I had the occasion to need a rental car for about a week due to some work being done on my own vehicle. My insurance company arranged for an Enterprise rental. An Enterprise associate picked me up at the repair facility and took me back to their office to finish the rental paper work. Their staff was very friendly and helpful and called twice during the week to ensure their were no problems with the vehicle or my expectations. He made arrangements to take me to the Volvo dealership when there was only one other person to cover the phones, knowing that I was on a very tight schedule. His was very kind and helpful. I've had to use Enterprise a few times this past month becuase my car was in the shop. The staff are friendly and will pick you up and drop you off at your location. It usually takes about 10 minutes to fill out the paperwork and walk the car for any previous damage. This location does have Saturday hours where the others don't.
