I was given the last car available when I arrived in town even though I suggested a different type of vehicle than the one that was available. Also the back up camera was messed up. When I returned the car at the end of my travels Deondre was very apologetic and very nice about making it right. I was on my 5th trip to LIT in roughly 16 months when I witnessed the tail-end of a heated encounter between the Enterprise agents and a customer ahead of me. On 2 of my previous 4 trips, I heard customers yelling at Enterprise reps b/c they tried to pick their reservation only to be told that no vehicle was available and the customer would need to make other arrangements. Except for a lack of yelling, it seemed I was witnessing it happening yet again. When I stepped up to the counter, the agent declared my DL "invalid" before even trying to run it through their system. The corner of my license had broken while transitioning TSA on my way to LIT earlier that day. I'd love to detail all the b.s., but I'm space constrained. Suffice to say it was 100% a game with the agent. They WANTED me to know they were "screwing" with me. it was all a big game with them. I believe they were angry over whatever happened w/ the person before me and chose to take their anger out me b/c they could. Enterprise allows them wide latitude on what is and isn't "acceptable" with licenses. It appeared to me the agent was seeking revenge on another customer because the previous one had made them angry and there was nothing they could do about it but they could "get back" at another customer. I tried getting help from the Area Manager. Over the course of what followed, I'm confident he knew his employees was "playing games," and yet he supported them in a manner that made it clear I wasn't getting a vehicle a vehicle from any Enterprise business (National or Alamo). After gaining their manager's support in denying my rental, the agent gleefully told me to "Have a nice day" followed by a smirk. It seemed to me more of a "ha, ha. I win. F. U" rather than a "I'm sorry we won't rent to you." I ended up renting from Hertz w/out ANY issues. Fun fact. Hertz can license info manually if needed, but in my case, the license "read" just fine. Much more to say about my experience, but space is limited so I'll just say that I had ZERO issues with that license anywhere else while I awaited my replacement. That includes banks, hotels, multiple passes through TSA, and other rental car agencies, etc. Even my LEO friends thought it was crazy. There will Always be challenges in business. How a manager and their employees choose to handle the situations and problems that arise is beyond important. This manager chose to support their employee. I suspected it was because it gave him another vehicle to help cover a shortage. That would align with his behavior and choices during the encounter. I don't know what is normal in the car rental industry However, I find it concerning that I've gone from zero observations of problems at ANY other rental car location, regardless of brand, to being one of 4 people who I know were dissatisfied with operations at this location. I didn't even bother trying to rent from Enterprise when I again returned for a final time to LIT a few weeks later. Not at all what I'm used to from an otherwise great company. read more

I am not a rental car snob! If renting I usually default to Dollar or Thrifty BUT for this trip both gave me issues with booking so I went with Enterprise. I have rented a car from here in ages but from what I remembered it was usually a good experience with quality cars for a more expensive price tag. For this trip after already being delayed at DFW for 4+ hours due to mechanical issue I was relieved to arrive at a small airport. The rental car building was pretty nice and labeled nicely. Lucky for me I walked straight up to the counter.... Just to be put onto a waitlist. The thing about southern charm, from a southern belle myself, nice can be condescending. The lady was pleasant but gave no answers of how long the wait would be nor the method for which she was keeping track of the rentals being assigned. Surely not everyone has a reservation for the same vehicle. So what's the hold up? I'm glad you ask, the service center is a few miles away and they are behind on cleaning cars from 4th of July weekend and flight delays and weather delays. Geezzz... What a fiasco after such an already long travel day. Get it together Enterprise Rental Car - Bill and Hillary Little Rock Airport.... And got it together is what they did. My experience with JD at the counter turned this 1 start review into a 5 start review instantaneously. He was professional, courteous, and got me into a brand new vehicle in minutes. What the original rep didn't say was that Enterprise works in conjunction with another rental company for assistance and that helped speed the process along. It worked and if it had not been an already long travel day it wouldn't really have been an issue. Nonetheless this issue became a no issue with great customer service and a smile. I arrived to Little Rock after a long day of traveling on Monday, and was initially frightened to see a long line forming at the counter. Although the line was lengthening rather quick, the two ladies working the counter helped every customer in a timely fashion, so it was pleasant to experience the line moving so swiftly! The girl at the counter even assisted me with transferring my belongings from the first assigned vehicle to a new vehicle due to the first vehicle having a "maintenance required soon" notification. She even brought the new car to me for easy access and turned the AC on high to cool the car off for me - it was very hot outside, and I found this to be extremely thoughtful of her to offer. I am in my mid 20s, so I am fully capable of all of this -- but you could tell that she genuinely cares for her customers & provided a seamless experience. Wish I would have gotten her name! That Wednesday, I had an unforeseen circumstance resulting in my decision to cancel my flight back home to drive instead (driving was quicker due to my layover times, etc.). I arrived back to Enterprise at the expected return time, and explained my situation to the nice gentleman/manager (DeAundre). He reassured me that their customers' needs are valued, and advised that I could update my reservation to proceed with driving home in that same vehicle. Just incase any issues were to arise when dropping the vehicle back off in my hometown, DeAundre provided me with his contact information so he could continue assisting until everything was resolved without any problems - this actually ended up being super helpful. Overall: Great service, great communication, great Enterprise support!!! Highly recommend. read more

I was greeted with a smile (to me it sets the mood for the transaction), her name was Sarah & she made the check-in process was so simple & stress free. She was friendly & very informative. Sarah let me know where I could take my son to get some great food from (she was correct my son loved it) & when I told her we were staying at the hotel across from the airport, she gave me directions plus advised about a restaurant inside the hotel. She was basically a one stop shop lol. I appreciate her keeping up the SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY people talk about, it's definitely needed especially these days. horrible service, a male employee checked me in at the front desk and he kept walking away from me so I couldn't ask him anything. a lady employee started sharing the check in counter space with him so I tried asking her instead but she just ignored me even though she was standing right in front of me. the male employee put paperwork in front of me to sign and he took the forms away from me as I was still writing, before I could even complete signing and initialing them. he gave me different paperwork then walked away right away without saying anything. I asked him if I was done and he just ignored me again so I left. it was my rental paperwork that he handed me and didn't say anything. I don't know how he issued me rental paperwork when I wasn't even able to complete signing for the initial paperwork. if this location wasn't conveniently in the airport, I would just rent elsewhere. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! When I booked my car online I requested a hand-held navigation system. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I was told that they didn't have any in stock; however, the agent at the desk at the LIT location failed to remove it from my reservation. When I arrived at my drop-off destination I shared with the agent the discrepancy, and he indicated that he could not correct the problem. Since then I have tried MULTIPLE times to get this fixed - even going through my credit card - and nothing. One of the times I was transferred and disconnected multiple times, and had to keep getting back into the queue. The last person I spoke to said that they would correct it and I'd receive a refund. NOTHING! Fortunately, I have screen shots, and will be going to corporate. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND SELECT A DIFFERENT COMPANY. These folks do not deserve your business. read more

Got to counter and talked to JD. Before I even explained my issue he said he couldn't help me. Never pulled up my rental. Never looked to see if there was a vehicle available. And had the nerve to tell me to take the vehicle to Southern tire mart like that's my job. Then had the nerves to have an attitude with me. I had to call customer service multiple times to get any assistance. And still got the run around. Thank God for Tyris and Terrance. That actually took time to assist me. I wouldn't se d my worst enemy to rent a car from Enterprise. If I were paying out of pocket I would've returned this crap weeks ago. Let's start off with the first gentleman that helped me was kind swift and had a great sense of urgency. I was checked in and had paperwork in 2 minutes it was great! That's where any kind of service stopped. I was told 5-10 minutes for my car to be brought around as of now I've been waiting 45 minutes. I asked if I can have an estimate on how long it would be and he (different guy than before) told me I have no ideal I just walked in. I said ok can I ... he interrupted me and said if I have any more questions to go wait in line again. Mind you the line is now about 15 people long and the first time was in line for 20 minutes. If I could post negative stars, and some kind of danger signal, I would. The rear tire on our rental vehicle blew completely to shreds when we were on the highway at night. Highly dangerous situation, we were traveling 65 mph, and I had to ease the vehicle off the road carefully, mindful that it could easily flip. We could easily have been injured or worse. Enterprise roadside assistance told me no spare tire was included with the vehicle, and instructed me to call 911, which I did. Dispatcher called a tow truck. Cars speeding past at 70-80 mph while we unloaded the vehicle, praying we would not be killed. Repeated calls to customer support assured us everything was in order, a replacement vehicle was reserved at the airport (only location open past 12 noon on Saturday), but when we got there the counter was closed, and a sign directed us to the next door National counter. Where the guy at the National counter refused to help us, said we would not be getting a car, because they didn't know where the towed vehicle was. When we offered the towing company business card he refused it, when I said I'd been in touch with customer service on the phone multiple times and asked if he could call them, he said he did not care. He said "customer service regularly lies to customers on the phone to avoid having difficult conversations". I asked to speak to a manager, he said the manager was not available. He told us to leave, and then when I refused, he called the airport police. Adding new trauma to the trauma of the night before. I called customer service again, they asked to speak to him, he refused. The police spoke to him and he changed his tactic, said it was an inventory issue, and they would not give us a car because they might not have enough for people with reservations...Ignoring the fact that we were people with reservations. We eventually gave up and went back to the hotel, and within about 30 minutes after leaving the airport a family member had reserved another car online, no problem, with pickup at the airport. So apparently the concern for the depleted inventory was fabricated. When arriving at the counter to pick up the car, there was a different staff person there and she gave them a manager's business card. I spoke w/ customer service again the next morning and they assured me they knew exactly where the damaged car was, they had the address, the car was on the recovery list for pickup, the notes from my previous calls were in the system and all very clear, and they had no idea why that person at the counter behaved the way he did. I have emailed the manager requesting waived charges for both the original car and the replacement, and he has not responded. Horrible, dangerous, degrading, and strange. An experience that overshadowed our son's graduation weekend. Don't assume the vehicles are well maintained, inspect the tires on the rental vehicle before you drive it away. read more

100+ degerees back home and a HOT walk to the airport from my personal car. Yeah, that was an awful start to my trip. So once I get to LIT, I quickly grab my luggage and all I want to do is get to this rental car and then get to my hotel to relax and cool off and just be me. I walk into the rental car terminal only to discover that the Enterprise counter is outside... in the muggy heat of Little Rock Arkansas. My blood begins to boil as visions of struggling with multiple suitcases and walking in the heat to get to the terminal for my departure flight quickly come back to mind. My blood starts boiling over when I see there are a couple of other people waiting... which means - I'm gonna be waiting in the heat for this car! I stand there ... simmering, no steaming. I wait my turn.... Here's where I go from hot head to cool mama. I'm greeted by Samantha... she takes my card and license and offers me a cool water. I nab the water while she quickly gets me checked in and readies the paperwork. She turns around and tells me "your car is ready Ms Ursula D, would you like me to get the car and bring it around for you?" I'm stunned into silence for a second. I say, "you mean you'll go and get it and bring it here?" Samantha says, "yes mam, I will bring it right here in this spot and help you load your things." My mind flashes back to that long hot walk in Phoenix in which I struggled with 3 bags from the parking structure to the airport and I am instantly in the best mood of the day. I thank her and say... "Yes, I would love it if you did that for me." (of all the times I've rented cars at various airports, no one has offered to drive the car around and few have offered to help with my bags) Samantha helps me get my things packed in the car and as I'm ready to leave, I realize, this car has only one 12V outlet. I need 3 (I never leave home w/o my Satellite radio) or I need a car with Sirius/XM. So, I see Miguel walking by me. I lower my window and half-seriously ask him if there was a chance they had a car with 3 outlets OR one with satellite radio. Miguel tells me wait right here. So I wait a few mins. Miguel comes back to tell me what I think will be a "no" to my pseudo-request. But he opens the door and says, "Ok Ms Ursula D. Let me help you move your things to this car. this has what you need to be comfortable." Bam, with that, my horrible morning was turned into a GREAT day. I wrote to their district manager. I was so satisfied and happy with the way I was treated!!!! If i'm ever in need of a rental car and passing through LIT... I'll always use this location. That staff is awesome! read more

This enterprise location refused to look at an important email that was sent from a different location that would allow us to get a new rental car since our original one broke down. The lady at the front. Ms. Geri was not helpful at all and did not try to get her manager who apparently is the only one who can see the emails. We called enterprise upper management to have this pushed and still nothing has been done. We were promised a car this morning at 8am and have been sitting waiting for the manager to check his email for an hour and a half. Completely ridiculous. Do not waste your time. I left a set of headphones in the car and after I came inside to get checked into the airline and then realized that I had left them in the car went back to get them and the car had been taken to the service department. someone went down to check the car for my headphones and they were not in the car. I spoke with the manager and he went to check himself for my property. He said that they were not in the car And that the lady that drove the car down to service had been working here for 3 years and that she always brings stuff to the counter that gets left in the car. I rent cars frequently at airports, usually in major cities, as I travel a majority of the time for work. So when a family trip brought me to a small airport, using a rental company that I don't use as often, I was a little dubious. However, I was quite pleasantly surprised with the service I received from Laquysha. She was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and was able to get us into our vehicle and on our way in a very expedient manner, even with the need to alter the reservation and add additional drivers who weren't already in the system. So as many already know, Enterprise Car Rental has excellent cars that are reasonably priced. The offer day, week, and month rates to accommodate all as well as a huge selection of new cars & trucks... HOWEVER, RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! I reserved a 4X4 truck for my stay in Arkansas. Upon landing I found out they had no trucks but I was quickly put into a luxury car for the night till a truck was dropped off. The car had a full tank of fuel when I got it. The next day I was sent to another location to pick up a 4X4 which was easy enough. The truck had a 1/10 of a tank and the car was filled up before I returned it. After returning the truck with 1//4 tank I was told all was in order so I flew home. 2 days later I'm charged $72 for a tank of fuel.. I rent from my local enterprise here in California and always receive top notch customer service as well as quick return of phone calls when there is a problem or help is needed... But not at these 2 locations.. Adams Field Airport or on 9804 N Rodney Parham rd. For 6 days now I've been calling multiple offices trying to reach someone to help fix this incorrect charge. I can get someone to answer yet each time I'm told the manager just stepped out and will call me back which has yet to happen. The last time I called the guy answering the phone, JIMMY, remembered my voice and says I swear our manger exists and will call back.. 24hrs later still no call. If there is a problem or issue it seems that this Enterprise no longer wishes to be as helpful as they are when they're taking your money. 1 Last bit of info to add, the truck I rented comes with a factory 16 gallon tank. Yet somehow I was charged for 24 gallons of gas at a whopping $3.08 a gallon instead of the $1.60 that is charged at every gas station in Little Rock, AR. RENTER BEWARE Shane from Enterprise contacted me on June 16. I will update again when I find out what Enterprise solution is to this horrible experience. So go to return the car. There is no parking space labeled enterprise...use the national parking. It is 5AM. There is nobody in the booth. It says, go to the counter...guess what. Nobody at the counter. So you go back to the parking lot. There is a dropbox...guess what, the key box is jammed. Drop the key off on the counter with nobody around (you have to catch plane, right?)...Wake up the next day. An $80 car rental now costs you $160! Call the customer service...all our reps are busy. If I could give them no stars I would. When we arrived, the lady at the counter told us just to go outside to the outer booth since we had a reservation. When we arrived there, we waited five minutes while the guy there joked around with the other rental car booth attendants that were working around the area, then we were informed to go back inside to the counter because he was too busy. We went back inside and gave our information to the lady at the counter and was told that because we didn't have a credit card, we couldn't rent the car that we had already reserved.
