The one Avis employee's boyfriend of husbands car.

Long time Avis renter and this is a first. NO CAR! Nothing they can do. Yes, I have a reservation. Yes, this was a 7 day rental. The girl had several of us wait while she spoke to her paramour without a glance or "be right with you". Did let hide the fact the conversation was personal. I am speechless

I had a great experience with this franchise and location for my rental car. I will admit it was hard to figure out where to pick up the car even though the airport had tons of drop off signs. The few employees I interacted with on pick up and drop off were super friendly. The lady helping me pick up my car was able to do everything in a very timely manner, and I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. My drop off took off less than two minutes. My rental car was clean and in excellent condition too.

Waited 80 minutes from the time I walked into the rental area until I got a set of keys. Every other car rental window had 0-1 people. The staff just sat there watching this long line. There were 15 people in line and while the staff were not rude, they made no effort whatsoever to get guests checked out or apologize for the wait. I reserved an intermediate car. I got a Dodge Ram. As a bonus I got an empty water bottle included.

    Just some dings

-1 poor customer service. Vehicle broke down. Went to exchange and they tried to give me dinged car that was dirty. Renter beware. Counter attendant not helpful at all. Garage attendant better. No one accepts responsibility for poor service and no manager or supervisor available No upgrade for 4+ hours lost out of our trip....

Insane line and wait time. Just a regular Tuesday. Not the Super Bowl.

I travel weekly. This is my first trip to Little Rock. I had a Avis Preferred reservation. I got to the preferred counter and there was a sign directing customers inside. I have been in line over an hour and I'm almost halfway to the counter. This is becoming far too common with Avis. Time to find a new vendor to use.

I travel regularly for business and have rented a lot of vehicles over the years, but this was by…read morefar the worst rental experience I've ever had. Shortly after picking up my vehicle, I noticed a warning light related to the collision avoidance system. I also noticed signs that the vehicle had previously been damaged. Since I was already on my way to a meeting, I called Alamo immediately to report it. After my meeting, things got worse. Multiple warning lights came on and several safety systems shut down. The brakes were also squeaking and pulsating. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable driving the vehicle, especially since I was about to travel across Arkansas into Oklahoma. When I called for assistance, I was directed to an Enterprise location, only to find out they had no vehicles available. I was then told to drive across town to the airport Alamo location. A large portion of the fuel used in the vehicle was a direct result of following Alamo's instructions to exchange a vehicle that should never have been rented in that condition. When I arrived at the airport location, I explained that I needed a safe, reliable vehicle for business travel. The representative could have been much more understanding of the situation. The replacement vehicle I received, a Nissan Rogue, was not much better. It had over 43,000 miles, the seats were dirty, there was a strong odor that smelled like smoke, and there was a noticeable rattle coming from the front driver's side. On top of that, the oil change required message appeared every time the vehicle was started. What surprised me most was the overall condition of both vehicles. They were high-mileage, poorly maintained, and honestly looked and felt worn out. I've rented from many companies over the years and have never been given vehicles in this kind of condition. When I returned the vehicle in Oklahoma City, I was informed there was a charge for a quarter tank of gas from the Little Rock exchange. I explained that I had only used about 50 miles worth of fuel, and most of that mileage came from driving between locations while trying to exchange the original unsafe vehicle. The gentleman assisting me in Oklahoma City was professional, understanding, and immediately agreed that the charge should be removed. He was the only part of this experience that left a positive impression. My biggest concern is that a vehicle with active safety warnings and braking issues was rented to a customer in the first place. That should never happen. This experience cost me time, created unnecessary stress during a business trip, and left me questioning the condition and maintenance of Alamo's fleet. Based on this experience, I do not plan to rent from Alamo, National, or Enterprise again.

2 words for you if you are considering!!!…read more Hell No! My flight was delayed, I get to the counter and nobody, I mean not a soul there to get me the vehicle that I pre booked & paid for. I'm currently paying for a day without the vehicle only thing customer service told me was- they open at 8am, go get the car then! No empathy, sympathy, didn't offer to get me a uber to make sure I made it to my hotel or offer credits. I wouldn't recommend to a family member, friend or even an enemy! Wouldn't wish this rental place on anyone, poorly ran, CEO needs to resign and anyone else that makes decisions. If you believe closing before for all flights have came in for the night is good business, try again! They will go bankrupt soon. No way customer will continue doing business with them..

Little Rock's airport is small and many of the businesses therein were already closed at that time. Budget's counter was open and staffed (2 people) but they're not a 24-hour operation. I don't know what your options are should you have booked a car rental here and arrived after closure. Still, that didn't happen to me. My advance reservation was honored, paperwork was signed, and the car awaited, a very short distance from where all this happened. When it came time to return the car, this did occur before Budget was staffed for the day but the self drop-off was a cinch: park the car and pop keys and paperwork in a secure dropbox nearby. I don't actually know if there's other rental car options at this airport but I do know, as long as you arrive when they're staffed, they operate efficiently.

I typically don't rent a car when I travel, but decided to on my quick weekend trip to Little Rock…read more I made a reservation through Southwest Airlines so I could earn Rapid Rewards points. The line at the rental counter was extremely long. I thought maybe it was because Avis and Budget are both at the same counter, but it seems that the line is always long. The wait was about 30 minutes. During that time, I started looking up rental rates for the other companies because the line was moving slow. Multiple people left the line to go to other counters to inquire about rentals. Though there were two employees working, it seemed that one of them was training so it was basically one employee behind the counter. After about 20 minutes, another employee came out to help. The staff members were very nice and patient, so I commend them for that. There were times when the delays were due to customers (one customer couldn't find their confirmation number when they got to the counter). They ran out of mid size vehicles, so the employee offered an upgrade to the next size. I was able to rent a Mazda CX-50 which coincidentally was the same rental car I had a few months ago when I rented from Budget in the Houston area. The employee gave me the key and told me what space the car was located in. Unfortunately when I got to the space, a different vehicle was there. I walked around for about 10 minutes when a different employee noticed I needed help. After triggering the alarm to find the car, we discovered that it was parked in B37, not B7 (which was written on the paper). When I got into the car, there was an empty water bottle in the cup holder. I also realized that it was a hybrid vehicle which the employee failed to mention. Luckily it was fully charged and the gas tank was on full. I actually restarted the vehicle a couple of times not realizing it was hybrid because it didn't sound like the engine turned on. The car itself was really nice and easy to drive. Returning the car the next day was easy. There was an employee there who directed everyone where to park. He wrote down the info from the dashboard and instructed me to leave the key in the car. The car was nice as were the employees, but unfortunately, there were just too many issues with the rental process to give them a higher rating.
