Communication! We made a reservation a month before our trip. I called twice to make sure everything was fine and was told it was. The day that we go to pick up our vehicle, they tell us 30 minutes before our pick up time that they can't rent to us. Apparently we have a past due balance from 2021, which cool great we'll pay it. They then inform us (after I asked several times and they said paying with a debit card is no problem) that we can't pay with a debit card when renting anything with a 3rd row. So instead of telling us all of this maybe the three times I spoke to them before the time of pick up so that we could have resolved any issues before our trip, they let us know as we're on our way to pick up the car. We have 4 kids and must have a 3rd row but all of our credit cards have a $500 limit. Get your shit together enterprise or at least figure out a way to help your customers. read more

Do not waist your time. Book with Hurts! Trakaila a manager at the location beside Caliber Collision on US-259 is not interested in helping or doing her job. You might get a car or you might get sent to the other location for asking for the supervisor to submit a complaint. read more

If you want to waste time, book a reservation here. You can confirm before showing up multiple times and they still won't have anything available to rent when you actually show up. That goes for the other location in Longview as well. The employees aren't in any hurry to help you either. read more

A couple of months ago my truck was rear ended in a collision. With that, I had to rent a truck for about 6 weeks while mine was in for repair. The entire staff at Enterprise was wonderful!!! Dylan Henderson and Zee Davis went above and beyond in making sure I was fixed up with a truck, not a car, and everything was taken care of. This was the most customer oriented and top notch staff I have seen ever at a car rental agency. I would think twice before booking with Enterprise again. Pretty sure it was just this location specifically. Their management needs major improvements. A guy (caucasian) said he was the manager on duty, was assisting us when I arrived to get my rental that I had made reservations for weeks prior. This member of leadership told me that enterprise over books reservations, which is why there isn't a car available at my reserved time. I arrived 4.2.21 at 9am and was told the vehicle could possibly be ready by 3pm and there was nothing he could do about it. Not only was this a major inconvenience, but the guy was rude and seemed uninterested in solving the issue. This isn't our fault, it's enterprise's issue, therefore a manager should have a game plan or a way to make things right. During a pandemic Families are conservative with their money and selective on where they spend it. We had been traveling since the previous night and we were exhausted. We left without a car and having to make other arrangements, and still haven't heard from Enterprise to pick up a vehicle. It's 4.2.21. 8:28pm. Ridiculous! read more

This is the absolute worst Enterprise rental car location in the United States. Complete lack of attention to detail and non-existent customer service. Odds are they won't have a car for you, even though you reserved it online ahead of time. Oh, and forget maintenance or having a flat tire. They just send you elsewhere to have the flat fixed, and while you wait 3 hours for corporate to approve it, they forget to check on you. Need to return your vehicle after hours? Forget about it. Due to safety reasons you can't do that at this location. How about you just resolve the safety issue? It has also been 4 days since they said they would call me once a new rental came in for me. Talk about an organization that needs the entire leadership team fired. Enterprise should close this location down and divert cars elsewhere. Guy could not tell me when they would have a car that was reserved days ago and told me to come back this morning and maybe they would have a car. So, I went back this morning and there was still no car available. Then he proceeded to be a total dick about me being upset about not getting a car that has been reserved for over a week. He refused to even give me his name when I asked for it. Don't even bother going there because THEY DON'T HAVE CARS, even if you've reserved one. UPDATE 08-27-21: I still can't get my car fixed because I STILL can't get a car. I made yet another appointment only to get yet another call back that there's no cars available even though I was told there was when I made the appointment for the very next morning. This is really getting ridiculous. Multiple attempts and I still have no rental. Why do they accept reservations and appointments if there's no actual car? Do they even have cars? Our interaction with the "manager" on duty was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Marshall at the front desk was rude, snarky and seemed like he had other places to be. Will not be returning to this enterprise. They should consider looking for better staffing. Based on past reviews I see I am not the first to make this comment. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST. Reserved a large SUV 2 weeks prior to needing it. Received a confirmation the day before that my SUV would be ready by 8 am on the day that was reserved. I ALSO called the day before to confirm and spoke with CHAD. I was told that I would have a choice of two SUV's an Expedition or a Tahoe . When I arrived the next morning to pick up my rental I was told by ALLISON that they did NOT have an SUV for us because they had problems with one that was returned. ALLISON never could explain to me why the other SUV was not available. ALLISON did say they could arrange for one and it would be available in 4 hours. I had an 8 hour trip ahead with people to pick up in route and could not wait the 4 hours. While I was there a lady came by to get her vehicle that was prearranged. Wish I would have seen these reviews before my husbands wreck. Whomever is answering the phones for the location next to caliber collision in Longview refused to do business with us due to my response to him being very non chalant about the fact they didnt have a vehicle ready and because they didn't take down my phone number after I gave it to them multiple times to ensure they could contact my husband. Some "family business". Y'all need to hire people with way better telephone skills and customer service. read more

I was trying to rent a car from here. I called twice 1 1/2 weeks before my rental time and asked if it was ok that I rented there with an out of state license and debit card. I was told, by two separate employees that it would be ok. But come pick-up time, I was turned away! I'm so upset that they wasted my time. I don't think it's fair that you can't rent with a debit card cause some people don't HAVE credit cards AT ALL!!! read more

This location is one of my favorites. I am in a rental vehicle most of the month, it seems, and this location has the greatest staff from the staff that gets the vehicles ready all the way up to the management. They all work like a finely tuned "car" (pun completely intended). This location tends to transfer new management in and out of the store but they do it in a way that the new management seem to already know the frequent renters. This shows a complete dedication to customer service, and it is very appreciated. Current management, Caleb and Kelly, go over and above to always have my vehicle ready and waiting for me when I pull up. They make sure to give me a great vehicle and all I have to do is sign my receipt, walk the car with them and leave. This is so helpful since my travels are usually 4 to 8 hours away and I am always on a deadline to be somewhere. My staff rent vehicles from this location and have the same experience. I have spread the word to as many people I can. I have even spoken with District/Regional management before (Mr. Rugerio) and he has been helpful on every occasion. I hear from counterparts across the state about there experience and while it is good, none of them get the customer focus that I do. Thanks Longview Enterprise!! read more

They are always really busy! I didn't have great check out service, but the check in service was as good as it gets! I went in about a week before we needed a car and was told the company prefers you to do it online, thats why they make it cheaper to do online? He told me they have other stuff to do in the office and are too busy to make in house reservations...so I made mine online and saved about $50 by doing so(based on the price quote he gave me:) Also, always check the tire pressure before you leave the lot....if the tire pressure light is on, there is a reason(even if the guy tells you its because of a broken sensor...always good to double check:) Other than that...great car, great value, pretty good service!
