I booked a vehicle on Dec. 29 around 8:30-9am. Was then confirmed for a pickup time at 10:00 via email and sent another confirmed pick up time at 1:00. I took an uber here and when I arrived the front desk associate (a gentleman), informed me that no cars were available and that we were twenty (20) cars awaiting confirmation before us. He told us he called, but I received no call. He informed me then my phone number was wrong, although, I used their services before and my phone was already on file. The confirmation should've been cancelled, and an email should have been sent. Rather than postponed. We were left leaving with no car and in the middle of "nowhere", no solution than just to find another rental business. Don't use this location. Staff are rude and not considerate. read more

I am writing to formally complain about my recent experience with your Wesley Chapel (Wiregrass) location at 2543 Mansfield Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543. I made a reservation five days in advance for a cargo van. Two days after making the reservation, I received a call from Omar, the office manager, informing me that they would not have a cargo van available. I was surprised that this was communicated only after two days. He offered a minivan instead. Because I had already made arrangements for that specific day, I agreed to accept the minivan, provided it would be ready Monday morning at 8:00 AM. Omar assured me that would not be a problem. However, on Monday morning at 7:35 AM, I received another call from Omar stating that the minivan would not be ready until approximately 10:30 AM. This last-minute change caused significant inconvenience and frustration, as I had scheduled my day around the confirmed 8:00 AM pickup time. When I expressed my frustration during the call, Omar hung up on me. I attempted to call him back multiple times on both his cell phone and the office landline but received no response. This experience was extremely unprofessional and disruptive. I expect better communication and customer service, especially when a reservation is made in advance and confirmed. This place is terrible, the worst customer service I've ever seen. I had recently rented a car at Enterprise Miami, returned it at this location. Had a reservation for yesterday Mar. 30th to return it in Miami today Mar. 31st. The person at the counter didn't rent me the vehicle, told me my international driver's license was too risky, and that it was enterprise policy to not rent to international drivers licenses. I had to go to the Tampa Airport and rent a car with Thriffty, who were perfectly fine with my driver's license, as Enterprise at Miami was too. I think this kid at the office didn't have any idea what he's doing, and just mistreats customers with false information. Don't remember his name, but it was a blonde young guy. I will never rent a car from Enterprise again in my life. read more

In the past, I've always used Enterprise for all of my car rental needs, but after the terrible customer service from this store, I'll be going elsewhere in the future. I rented a car from 8/13 through 8/20. A few days before my rental date, I received a voicemail from a female representative confirming my rental for 8/13. In her message, she stated the store is only open from 9am to Noon that day, and to make sure I come in before noon. When I called back to confirm I was still renting the car, I was once again told to come anytime before noon. When I arrived at 9:30 am on 8/13, the man at the desk told me I came too early, and my car was not available yet. I explained to him that I was told twice that I needed to be there BEFORE noon. He then explains to me that I must've misunderstood what the representative said. I asked him if they in fact close at noon that day, and he confirmed they did, so I'm not sure what I misunderstood? Regardless, they got me into a different car, and off I went. I returned the car at 9 am on 8/20, and the woman behind the counter was too busy to look over the car and instead told us to leave the keys, so we did that. At 12:30 pm that day, a woman named "Francesca" called and left a message stating there is a crack in the windshield, and I need to call them back on Monday morning because they're currently closed. I did not see a crack in the windshield when I returned the car. I work overnight shift and stayed up until 8 am to call them on Monday morning as soon as they opened. I spoke to "Savannah" who asked me if I saw the crack in the windshield. I told her I had not, and she advised me the crack was in the top part and was concealed by the tinting, so it was very hard to see. I told her I did recall a pebble flying off a dump truck and hitting the glass, but I never saw a crack. She advised me the manager would call me before 5 pm to discuss it. I never received a call. Instead, the next morning I got a call from my auto insurance company telling me they were calling to process MY claim on the windshield. I never made a claim to my insurance, and if the manager had called me to discuss the issue like a grown adult, he/she would've known I rented the car with my platinum credit card which covers the damages to the car. But again, no call and no contact. So, no, I would not recommend Enterprise to anyone because their customer service is subpar! read more

Horrible service, they cancelled my reservation for a mini van at the last minute. I made my reservation well ahead of time and they waited till the last minute to cancel saying they did not have the vehicle. They were not even willing to provide an alternate solution, bad customer service. Enterprise, don't ask me to send an email with the details to an unmonitored inbox. Wow! Extremely rude! I have never seen someone murmuring and grumbling just in front of you and all the way from the car parking spot to the inside of Enterprise, just because I asked for another car, as the one provided had the windshield cracked and all of it's seats were dirty. He didn't even tell me that the windshield was broken! He just made me sign, and was pressuring me to leave. He also kept telling me that this was the only clean car, and then sarcastically said, "Well, if you want there is a dirty Tucson." It was dehumanizing to be treated like this! This enterprise location deserves zero stars. I have had several problems with this office, but never given them a bad review however, at this time I feel like I have no other choice. I had reserved a car and went there to pick up the car only to be informed they had no cars. No one tried to reach out to me to let me know that you had no cars available. I was scheduled to leave on a business trip and only to be told they had no cars. They sent me to their Zephyr Hills office and I had to drive there myself, my time, and my gas. They offered no compensation. No real apology was offered. That is inexcusable and poor customer service. I've called the Zephyrhills office multiple times to speak to an area manager, and I've yet to return a phone call as recent as Wednesday when I was told that somebody would call me back by the end of the day or by the end of the day the next business day still no return phone call. I sent Chrissy Taylor an email explaining my situation still no return or response to my email. What this illustrates is this company's lack of customer service and lack of caring for the customer so I will not rent from them. I've also shared this feedback with my company and asked them not to use Them because they do not care about their customers. I'm sorry to say this review was supposed to be a good one, unfortunately it's not going to be. I had to bring my car to Caliber Collision and it was super convenient that Enterprise was right there. This day was good. The guy that was getting the car written up for me was really pushy on me buying the extra insurance they offered. I understood he was just trying to let me know the options, but after the 3rd, 4th, 5th time of saying no. Probably means I don't want the insurance. Well then literally 2 days later my other vehicle was hit while in a parking lot. Well I of course I wanted both my vehicles at the same collision center. I get there and waited about 15 minutes just to be told I cannot have 2 rentals in my name. This just made no sense to me. My spouse and I have 3 vehicles paid off in our names, full coverage insurance on all of them. What if something happen like tornado or something and all my cars get messed up. Well clearly all drivers in my family and on my insurance needs to drive. So I was told to have the insurance switch everything over to my spouse's name, then they can give the rental under his name. Well the issue with that is he does not believe in banks or credit cards. Now I have returned the rental, everything was done. Did the inspection and all. Remember this was an insurance deal where they were paying everything. I went on Sunday night and looked at my credit card to pay the bill for this month. Well I see there is a charge from Enterprise. I call them and you cannot talk to corporate about the bill, they tell you to call the actual location. So I called and left a message for them to call me back. Well now here it is Wednesday, I call again during business hours. I was told the manager would have to call me back when they returned to the office in about 15 mins. Well here it is the end of the day and they will be closed in 5 mins and yet again no call. This would not be a rental company or location that I would ever recommend someone to use. read more

Wish there were more stars to give. This store helped me out tremendously during a recent vacation and I can't thank them enough. We took a late night flight and got a car from Alamo at the airport and the next day noticed it was losing about a pound of air a day and just kept our eye on it and it didn't seem to get worse until 8 days later when it started losing air at a rapid rate. we were staying about a quarter mile away from the land o lakes enterprise store when we noticed we were starting to really lose air bad and they stayed after to put us in a different car to ensure we wouldn't have an issue They took GREAT care of us even though we had rented thru their sister store at the Tampa airport (Alamo car rental) and ask no questions! This is truly a GREAT location with a WONDERFUL staff! Kudos to Marcus Forbes for a great store and thank you to CECILEY PHILLIPS who went way out of her way to help us AFTER store hours!!!! I've rented from this location a few times in the past years. It's the closest location to my house so it makes it convenient when a rental is needed. My employer also has pre-negotiated rates with ERAC so it's always nice getting a deeply discounted corporate rate when renting a vehicle from here. The staff each time I've been in has been very friendly and polite and work at top speed to get people in and out in record time. My only gripe comes with the interior cleanliness of their cars. Each time I've gotten late model cars that appear newer and clean on the outside, but each time the interiors of these newer cars (ones that have less than 8k miles on them) are totally disgusting. They either reek of smoke, have stained interiors/seats, and are so grimy it makes you feel dirty just touching the steering wheel or any other interior surface of the car. They have porters who wash the cars before each renter gets them, but it may actually be more worthwhile for them to get the interiors of their cars detailed from time to time. read more

So thanks to an accident that was no fault of ours we were put in a position to need a rental car. We first helped by Max to pick up the car and it was a smooth process and the car gave us no issues. Max was very polite and professional. However the billing was confusing so we went to the location with some questions and some data and we spoke to Marcus. Now Marcus is a true professional and was patient with us and explained everything calmly and in a friendly manner. I wanted to take the time to say thank you to Marcus and Max to insuring we were satisfied and left as happy customers. We will certainly return and hopefully under better circumstances. read more

I have been renting from Enterprise for years. Occasionally I run into an employee that is new or is struggling, however there is always someone there to assist ( Land O Lakes Location). I have not had as much help at Airport locations. The former manager, Melissa was absolutely awesome and I was so sorry to see her go. Patricia, the new manager has also been great, and I enjoy it when she is there as she really makes her regulars feel welcome! Horrible experience renting a car from Enterprise. Checking out the car was quick. Employee quickly scanned the outside of car for any damage. Returning the car, the employees get down on hands and knees looking for the most minute defect that was no doubt there during the first scan as the car was only drives 5 miles during week stay to the grocery store. They then billed our credit card a few weeks later 500.00 for damages. Total scam. read more

I rent from this office at least once a month. I am pleased with the service I get here. I think the Manager is effective and the staff do what they can to accomodate when the rules allow. Recently, I rented a car that had been smoked in by a prior renter. I did not realize that it had been smoked in because I was sick and couldn't smell. Unfortunately, I had put gas in the car -- they discounted the rental 10% which repaid the gas by $20 but I was still out $30 due to gas prices being so high. In summary, I would prefer to pick up a car that is full and return the gas full then have to return the car with the same amount of gas. I always lose money this way and I just wish they would go back to the full gas tank policy. That is the only reason this review is 4 stars and not 5. Bring back the full gas tank policy -- please. read more

I rent from the Land O' Lakes branch at least once a month. I book with Enterprise because they are closest rental location to my house. Being a regular customer, the staff always work to accommodate my rental needs. Most know me by name and are professional and courteous. My biggest complaint about Enterprise as a company is the amount of paperwork required for EVERY rental. Renting at Avis or Hertz is a very simple process of making the reservation online, walking to my car, and showing my drivers license to get off the property. I understand that ERAC caters to a ton of insurance business, but for someone that wants to get in and out, I often find it frustrating to have my license scanned every time and filling out forms in triplicate. At the local branch level, I also seem to pick the worst times to pick up and drop off vehicles. It's like I-75 at rush hour. Sometimes it takes 30-40 minutes to pick up or drop off. I am very glad to hear about possible Sunday hours though! Picking up on a Sunday might help to beat that Monday morning rush! read more

Model Availability - Enterprise in the US is very different from that in the UK. Why? well first of all in the UK you are able to specify what model in what category you wish to rent. With sufficient notice they manage this request as they are always shuffling the fleet stock - one way hires etc. This was challenging at this local branch as the US operation does not have/offer this facility. I struggled to obtain the correct car with Bluetooth options for some of my hires. It was really what they had available at that time and with stock always out on rent this made it challenging. Should I have gone to Tampa International Airport for service - no this should I feel have been pursued. Car Preparation - Very poor as again in the UK the vehicles are always immaculately prepared - vacuumed and detailed inside and outside - one could mention pride? At this branch this was not to be expected. Perhaps due to the high turnover or to maintain operating costs cars were not always presented in great condition. Staffing and Management - always helpful, polite and charming. The one instance when dealing with a management trainee, whom seemed to have gotten out of the bed on the wrong side when I was requested to change a car. Spoke with the Branch Manager - Melissa (she's great!) and this was managed to my satisfaction. I'm a Enterprise Loyalty participant and always hire from the company for over 5 years now. If they can raise their game to UK equivalent they will still and always be my first choice read more

Ben with enterprise responded to my review as damage control. I appreciate your response Ben but Enterprise has been doing this for years. I know your job is to make your company look good. My review has been based off numerous experiences and not just at this branch. Enterprise will post a response and take care of the specific issue but keep doing it. This has been proven. The lack of ethics Enterprise has shown to increase numbers proves this. If you really cared and wanted it to stop as a company, you would have done so many years ago. Instead you offer a refund or a weekend special to make it go away until you get caught again. Your management encourages your employees in this behavior with employees to increase numbers. Then when a complaint reaches a corporate level or social media, your company acts like they have had no clue those issues were going on. Then your company will refund or offer a free weekend special to make it go away. Look at how many complaints there are against your company? I rent frequently and my company uses Enterprise as a last resort because of the issues they have had with your company. My review stands. read more
