The week of November 4th, 2024. I was stranded a little town north of Nashville, Tennessee when calling enterprise to rent a vehicle and have them pick me replied none of the in the area do that not to I could not rent the vehicle in Tennessee and return it to my home state. The young lady on the phone who helped me from the enterprise helpdesk was absolutely immaculate unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control and being stranded and stressed, I cannot remember the young lady's name, but she was so helpful and tried to do everything. She to assist in my situation and I hope that she finds this or this finds her because she seriously she gave me hope but also a denial, but she tried everything in her power and wasn't willing to give up until I did due to the fact that enterprise advertises pick you up and discovering that is not the case I will not ever attempt to use enterprise again in the future, and I will also encourage all my friends and family not to mention my consumers to stay away from Enterprise, this is the second that had with them. The first one was they return some items that been left in the vehicle and also attempted to pen a pre-existing issue with the driver seat on me when I called to let them know immediately that this had an issue and they informed me at that time not to worry about it it was covered so not only do they have terrible advertising their liars. 8/16 -Worst Enterprise location I have ever worked with. They have to have their hands held in order to do the job correctly the first time. If anything in your agenda changes, forget it, this location is terrible at communication. 8/17 -Thought I would give them a second chance, seeing that it's been a year since my last review. I've come to the conclusion this Enterprise location is hopeless. Sure they have nice people in there now, but they gave me the most disgusting rental car I've ever sat in. The gentleman who did the walk through with me was in a hurry and didn't write down any of the concerns I had for the exterior of the car. To my surprise, the inside of the car was far worse. Not a good experience. They gave me a car with the breaks bad the door trim coming off on the passenger side and the car rattled when you drove it. I called Enterprise to tell them the breaks were bad on the car and they asked me to take the car to get the breaks fixed for them. Then when I turned the car in they charged my credit card for gas when I turned the car in with the same amount of gas as it had when I got the car. Then when I asked the guy at Enterpride to.refund my money to my card he got an attitude. I had to call a second time to get my money refunded. read more

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I called in at 9 am this morning for an 11:30 pickup at this location. They said that they would contact me first and pickup from my location nearby. I called back at 11am and was out on hold. The first hold time was 9 minutes. I hung up, and called back. The second hold time was 27 minutes. In that 27 minutes, I had gotten dressed, called an uber and literally drove into the driveway of this establishment when they finally answered. Who knows what they would have told me... I walked in and was helped at the desk. They kept putting people on hold and never picking up those calls, haha. Must be nice to just expect people to waste their time holding for customer service. I spoke with a few customers that have been waiting before me and they have been here for close to an hour. The pickup driver is sitting in here across from me posing for animal crackers. This place is a nightmare!!!!! Horribly managed. They have no staff. I made my reservation online and it still took an hour and a half to get a car. Then the car they have me stunk like cigarettes! Then the check tire light came on after one day. So they said they would bring me another car at 11am. It's 1:27 and guess what???? Still no car. So I've wasted my entire day off waiting. The only thing worse than totaling my car yesterday was dealing with the little twerp behind this counter. I'd love to say I was dishing out a poor rating for him not going above and beyond but in reality he didn't even go, period. Having worked in customer service my entire adult life I understand how hard things like making a phone call or doing your job can be, so I suppose I should apologize to him for expecting such things. I haven't had too many bad experiences at this location, other than annoyances. This was the straw that broke the camels back. I had made an online reservation with no problem. I went down there and was told, unapologetically that they were sold out.. what was i suppose to do? i just got dropped off, and needed a car. They didn't offer me to go to another location, hell they didn't even offer me a ride home (i live down the street) even though 2 other people were getting rides. Just plain bad customer service with someone that's rented from them several times. I will not rent from enterprise for business or pleasure or convenience again. the annoyances on top of this is making me take my business somewhere else. note to business hire people that are customer service friendly, that's your business.. read more

Stay Away!!! I got a ride to the Madison rental location to pick up my rental that I set up online & as I was exiting the car to enter, I get a call to tell me they don't have a car for me. My pick up time was at noon & it was 11:45am!!!! I told them I was right outside!!! Thanks for the notice!! I finally got to talk to the manager, who acted busy, but I waited. Talk about ruining my weekend!! They didn't even call around to help me find a car! Was told that if they get a cancelation later they'll call. OK- True to their word, they called me a 2:45pm to say they had a car for me. But they close at 3pm!! No way could I make that. Remember, I have NO RIDE!! Real funny, I suppose. I rented a car last week. This is the second time in 3 months ive rented from this location.. the car was great. Clean. Both times brand new and since they didn't have what I wanted in economy they upgraded for free so id be happy. I had Asia help me out and she was AWESOME. The only thing id complain about is they are more expensive than other rental cars but its worth it for the service I got from this location. ill definitely rent again and hopefully I will get a better deal! read more

I feel if they know the customer is on the way, being picked up and all, that most of the preliminary paperwork should be ready. Scam place! I dropped off my car at Lexus dealer for timing belt and I needed a rental car. I was picked up to Enterprise for rent-a-car. Kristina helped me, she lied on a contract document by verbal. She asked me: Do I want an extra insurance coverage? I said NO, I wanted to use my own insurance and here they charged me for that $51.00 for 3 days. Thank you for that. It is a scam, Be careful people! Don't come here. I will never use Enterprise (MADISON) again. They were beyond rude. I made an online reservation. I then called the Madison location to pickup the car to be told by a female employee that they did not have any intermediate cars available. That I could up grade but would have to pay for the upgrade. I ask for the manager because the online reservation confirmed the car was available. He introduced himself as Eric. Eric should be fired for the way he spoke to me over the phone. He said that the female employee who answered the phone was new and in training and that they all sold out of cars, to have a nice day and slammed the phone in my face. Everything happens for a reason. As Processes present challenges, the experience was a combination of instant and delayed gratification. Ultimately the issue was resolved. The process of getting into the free upgrade due to their outage of my reserved vehicle was instant as was the process of getting a ride with 2 children back to our destination at the end of the reservation. However, getting the overcharged insurance refunded was a 3 week process was just like getting a new President --- slow and painful which came with a triumphant ending due to prayer and persistency...if its meant to be, I will use them again but prayer and persistency I will definitely use at all times --- try it, if you haven't --- otherwise if you continue doing the same things, don't expect different results. Great great great customer service with Enterprise Representatives. I took a road trip to FL in March and had a problem with my rental car. The customer service on the phone was great, but it was still an issue. But when I got back home and the manager in that location talk to me. She was so understanding and took her time listening to what had happen and yes she took care of me. When I walked out of the office I felt good and will continue going to them in the future. Had a horrible experience when the rental we reserved and confirmed wasn't on the lot when we arrived. Ruined our vacation and they barely apologized. I have rented from Madison location 3 times in the last 12 months. They have always been tops in customer service and all 3 experiences have been very good. I always take out the waiver insurance, it is well worth a few extra dollars to know all I have to do is turn the vehicle in and leave. Management and team all have great attitudes and want to make it a good experience. read more
