I have rented from this branch three times, and every time branch manager Alejandro Vega has treated me with open contempt. He rolls his eyes at me, never says thank you, and carries a nasty attitude through the entire transaction. I learned to avoid him and ask other employees for help. I've also paid attention to how he treats other customers. I've watched him with white customers and Asian customers, and I've never seen him treat them the way he treats Black customers. Every time, it's the Black customers who get the attitude, including me. This time he refused to let anyone else help me and made it his business to handle my rental himself. Here's what happened. On September 17 I rented a car for a one day trip to New Orleans to visit my cousin in the hospital. I returned it overnight with the fuel two bars under full. I have never smoked. I have asthma, so smoking isn't something I could do even if I wanted to, and on top of that I'm having my tonsils removed next week. The next morning I came back for a phone I'd left in the car. Vega told me the car smelled like smoke and that I would not get my $300 deposit back. I smelled the car myself and there was no smoke odor. When I asked what he smelled, he refused to discuss it. He charged me for fuel on top of that. As I walked toward the branch to file a complaint, he cursed at me and told me not to come into his branch. I asked to speak to his manager. He said he was the branch manager, that it was his store, and that I could not rent there anymore. Then he threatened over and over to call the police on me. Enterprise, this man took $300 from me with zero evidence, banned me from renting, and threatened me with police for trying to report him. He has no business managing customers. I've escalated this to the regional manager and I expect my deposit refunded and this manager held accountable. read more

The day of pick-up, they call to say they don't have a vehicle for us. Many phone calls later we still don't have a vehicle. They basically offered us a car when we reserved a standard suv. The girl told us the day before they had a 'fleet' of vehicles to choose from; we we go the next morning, day of, there isn't one vehicle on the lot. Then WE have to call other enterprise loc a turns to see what they have. Still nothing. The employee tells us that basically enterprise is false Advertising online and that they can't promise anything. So feel free to book whatever you want.But there's no guarantee you will get it. I have never been more livid at a company. They deliberately LIED on my bill and charged me for an extra day after calling their office the day before stating I was going to be 15/20 mins late (they closed at 6) turning in my car - to which I was told to use the dropbox if they were already gone for the day. Upon reading my contract, I would not be charged extra as it was not a full hour from my original return time of 6 PM. I then, woke up to this morning with their employees DELIBERATELY LYING on my bill, stating I turned the vehicle in at 9 in the morning the next day. I wasn't even awake at 9AM this morning.... To literally completely put the wrong time and date without doing the minimal effort of checking the cameras while also confirming I was never up there at 9 AM is wild to me. Don't you think I would have came in and not used a drop box at 9 AM the next day when you were open? And like to not even call the customer and confirm their return time? Insane. Anyways, I've contacted their corporate support for a refund for the extra day and spoke to surrounding locations in order to have them hold onto footage showing the time and date I arrived until this is settled and to give them zero chance to blatantly lie again should that be their next route. Never seen anything like this. Do not work with these people! I used to love Enterprise, but I'm warning all friends and family now. This location is an actual SCAM or straight up hires incompetent employees. It takes two seconds to confirm the info you enter into a computer before charging someone. No wonder your stars are so low. Do better. read more

The worst customer service. I just moved to Conroe Texas. I needed a car to get to my new job. I have rented cars from AZ enterprise 20 Times with no problems. Now it's a problem because I moved to Conroe. Even time they asked for a document, I presented it. It was not good enough. TURO here I come!!!! read more

The employees let me in early because it was super cold outside. They had my car ready at 8am and it was nice and clean! The only thing I didn't care for was that it was on half a tank. However, this didn't overshadow the great service. Good job. read more

How do you run a vehicle rental location and not have any cars available? How is it acceptable to take a reservation for something you know you can't provide? I filled out their Priority Pass form to make a reservation. I got a confirmation email saying it was confirmed and would deliver the car at Monday at 8:15 AM. They never showed up. Nothing. No email, no phone call-just totally ghosted. read more

Had an accident and was set up to have a car delivered ok a set date. I noticed it was an hour past the time so I decided to call and only be advised that they are not delivering and if I wanted a car I would need to get there by 12 because they were closing. I explained I would need to take an Uber to pick up and asked if they can wait a few minutes and the women there was disgusting and bluntly said no. Finally, when I get there they didn't have a pickup truck as reserved. Customer service is absolutely disgusting and I can't seem to understand how they allow workers or if family dealing with their business!!! Unacceptable! read more

Had an accident last Thursday, FINALLY the other guys insurance calls Monday at 4:30pm and tells me I have a "Enterprise Priority Pass" reservation, I tell them it will be Tuesday morning before I can get the car since I was still at work and location closes at 6pm. I was told not an issue, the car is reserved. I get location at 6011 Fm Highway 1488 Magnolia, TX 77354 about 9am Tuesday and present the email with confirmation number, only to be told they gave away my car, and the best they could do is rebook me "later in the week". I asked if they could move reservation to another location and I was told since I didn't make the reservation that I would have to have the insurance do it. Then all but one employee leaves the counter area, so I ask the one that was left what my options were, only to be told I have no idea, I just walked in. Called Enterprise customer service and was told a regional manager would contact me to get this resolved, now 4 hours later and missing half a day at the office I STILL have no call from Enterprise, no sorry, let me see what we can do, no let me have a vehicle delivered to you from another location.... just EVERYONE ghost... and you know the other guys insurance isn't any help. read more

Came to pick up a car so that the family could all ride together to an event, it was a one day rental. The check out process was pretty smooth, just lengthy. When I first walked in there was no greeting, they were just kinda sitting around, then the person at the counter was like "give me second" and picked up the phone. While doing the check of the car, it was noticed by the employee that there was still some dirt on the floor mat, and they told me that could get it detailed again. (Key word...again) I passed on the additional detailing because this process had already taken 30 minutes and I was needing to hit the road. After paying and going to leave it was noticed when the rest of my family got in the car the car was FILTHY. I literally found a corn dog stick in the door. The next day when checking the car in, I was asked upon entering the office if I had some time, I said yes and sat down. After about 20 minutes of waiting (they were with a customer) I ended up just turning the keys in because I had to get to work. I asked if I would receive a close out invoice via email and I was told yes and that I would receive a call. I never got either. When trying to call the store (twice) the next day the phone would ring then go right to hold where I sat there listening to a message about "How Enterprise Cares About Clean" on repeat for 10 minutes. I needed up hanging up and calling the 1-800 number to make sure the reservation was successfully closed. Here I am 5 days later and I'm still waiting on my refund and call... I will NEVER use this location again. read more

Poor customer service, they really give you the run around here. They say they will call you back but they never do, they were suppose to put us in an economical car and instead put us in a gas guzzling van, they don't know when any cars will become available or come back, they blatantly lie when they tell you one thing but then do the other. You would think they would have access to the statewide and local Enterprise vehicle database to know what place has what vehicles but nope, they tell you to call around....... Taylor and Lance have told my wife many times now they would call her back and keep her updated but every time they blow her off and she ends up calling instead, it's insane how poorly run and ill informed everyone at this place really is. How are going to tell someone one thing and tell them you will call them back and tell them you have cars coming back that day or the following day and then just ghost that person eroding all trust and faith they have in you and your company? I would never recommend anyone use this location whether you have an accident or your looking for a business trip rental. This place is all hopes and dreams and nothing more. And FYI we did not request or prefer a van either like they told our insurance company. read more

What is the point of making a reservation if their's is a first-come-first-serve system anyway? Lucky for me, Avis is located just down the street. I am disappointed in this location. Not sure if the other locations are similar to this but, improvement in customer service is greatly needed. It is stressful enough when your car is in the shop because of an accident; the car rental company should not add to that stress. The first car I rented had an electrical issue. When I called to explain, the employee treated me like I was an idiot - yes, I know newer cars have an auto-shut off when you stop; and no, that was not the issue with this car. Regardless, I was told they didn't have a car available and I would have to call around to see if any of the other locations had an available vehicle. Umm...that's not my job; it should be yours. they said they would contact me if a car became available but, after several hours and another "episode" I finally just showed up and they figured out another rental to give to me. When my vehicle was ready, I found out another Enterprise location was two buildings down from the body shop so I called to confirm I could drop it off there instead. I was told "Bring it back here. It is more convenient for us." What?? It's not about you; I am the customer! The answer should have been, "of course - we'll settle the paperwork over the phone or transfer it to the other location". So now I have to inconvenience a friend to take me from Enterprise to the body shop. I may or may not rent from Enterprise again but, I can assure you I won't be renting from Magnolia. Bad form! If you need a rental car and expect customer service, don't rent here. read more

They generally have great service, and good quality cars. This would be a 5 star review, except that they have terrible communication problems. No one answers the phone locally (Saturdays are really bad, but it is also true during weekdays). In addition, they use a centralized reservation system that has no clue whether the local branch has cars to rent or not. (The reservation people cannot get through to to the local branch either). It is kind of sad, really. So much on the positive side ruined by a simple failure. read more

I initially gave ZERO stars! I made a reservation on Monday for a large SUV with a third row. I was promised the car on Thursday. Never got the call saying it was ready, so I called the following Monday to find out where the car was. I was told it was "sold" & the only other large SUV was rented this morning. When I asked why that car was not given to me, "Leah" said that my insurance only approved an SUV but did not specify a third row. WRONG! I and my insurance BOTH specified a third row was needed! Leah was a disrespectful, rude and inconsiderate lady! She was incredibly disrespectful and said in a very crappy tone that she would see if she could find one. As I was on the phone with Budget Rentals, another female called me back & told me they have the large SUV and would deliver it in 15-20 minutes. I guess it just fell from the sky! read more

Was pleased with service out of this location. Rented a car one way to Seabrook Tx to go on a cruise. Didn't know Seabrook location closed at noon on Saturday but car was returned within allowed time. Dropped keys in box outside door. I checked my email while on the cruise and realized that they charged me for three days instead of one. A week later when I returned home I called the Magnolia office and they gave me the credit. Completely unsatisfied loyal customer and insulted by insinuations. In need of a vehicle I went to the Enterprise web site. I looked up the closest Enterprise branch (Hwy 1488 Magnolia, TX) to me and dial the number for that branch, which was a local number. I was connected to someone who helped me make my reservation over the phone. During the course of the conversation I asked if he was at the Magnolia location or if he was at a call center. He acknowledged he was at a call center. He took my reservation, provided me with the above Rental Reservation # and said I would be able to pick my car up at the Magnolia location. The call was around 5:45 PM Central Time. At 6:15 PM I received a call from someone at the Magnolia Branch saying that he would not be able to accommodate my reservation, because he already had 16 reservations. When I explained to him that I was told that I have a reservation and would be able to pick my vehicle up at the Magnolia location tomorrow. He said it was probably because I called the call center. I explained to him that I dialed the local number for his store and it sent me to the call center. He said that the call center doesn't know what he will have on my lot - somewhat understandable but as I told him that's not my problem. That's an Enterprise issue. He again told me he would not be able to accommodate my reservation and didn't offer me any solutions. So I asked him if it was up to me to find another location to fill my reservation and he said yes - and went on to explain that I made the reservation at 5:45 PM and that he closes at 6:00 PM. Again, understandable but again, not my problem. I made the reservation before closing time. He didn't discover the issue and try to contact me until after closing time. So when confirming what I just heard was up to me to find a location to fill my reservation - he again pointed out the fact that I made the reservation at 5:45 PM and that he was already closed. Not only did I receive poor customer service from the Magnolia branch I'm insulted that the person who called me insinuated it was my fault because I called 15 minutes prior to closing and because he was now closed that it was up to me to find another Enterprise location to fulfill my reservation. The fact that the employee saw it as my issue because I called 15 minutes before closing and he was ready to "clock out" shows exactly the care given to providing "Exceptional Service" they claim to have and question you about 50 times at every transaction. It's more than just a smile and a handshake when picking up or returning a car. That is something the employees of today's Enterprise have forgotten or have never learned. Hertz is definitely looking like the better alternative. read more

I had a car accident and have been using Enterprise Rentacar based on my insurance requirements. This location has worked with me endlessly to accommodate my changing needs. They found me a deal on a rental that would fit within my insurance limits and still be close to the vehicle I normally drive. Then when I needed to upgrade my vehicle to an SUV to accommodate my car pool duties, they helped me locate that car too and gave me a break on the rate since I would be paying for it out of pocket. Chelsie Homer, specifically, helped me out switching cars 3 times. They have really come through for me in what was already an incredibly stressful time dealing with the car accident repercussions. I can not thank them enough and will be a loyal enterprise customer from now on. read more

Very poor service. Enterprise called me to let me know the driver was on the way (a 10-minute drive). An hour later, when nobody showed up, I called them to find out where the driver was. They didn't answer the phone but oddly enough while still listening to their voicemail hold, I received a call from a driver on another one of my phones to tell me that the other driver went to the wrong house. Really????? I'm supposed to believe that someone who picks up people locally, all day long, went to the wrong house and it took him/her an hour to figure it out? This driver said that they had just finished lunch but they could leave now to pick me up. More likely she decided to take lunch after the person at the desk asked her to go pick me up. I really would not have minded the delay I just don't appreciate being lied to. I also don't like them not answering the phone because they would prefer not to confront me. On top of this, while typing this review, I called them to be sure they cancelled my reservation. Again...no answer after 10+ minutes. Avoid this place and go with Hertz. read more
