Have returned cars here 3 times. Every time while inspecting vehicle back has been beyond being through. They are looking for anything and scratches, 1 time tried to blame me for it but I took pictures when I took car. They have to inspect but is almost a witchunt. Where I used to live they were always so pleasant and when I took a car back always offered a ride back home without me asking. Now I'm less than 5 miles from this location and when I ask for the possibility or a ride home they look at me like I'm requesting heaven. They don't have to do it but the way they look back and say no leave a bad taste I won't be asking again and possibly not returning a car to this location. Enterprise is a great car rental company but some employees like the ones I've dealt here can drag them down. read more

Rented a crew cab pickup, the guys were super friendly and helpful. I did have to wait in line for a bit, but, once we were served , no issues. The truck was not as clean as I would have liked, but no major issues. Return was even easier, I can definitely recommend this location. read more

We were supposed to get car that was to be delivered to us by Joel at this Enterprise location. Everytime we called he was "0n his way" for a .5 mile distance. We waited 2 hours always being told he was on his way. We finally found out he had NO cars available, NONE! Why he didnt tell us this at the start I do not know. He is a lying sack of s#%t!! I made a reservation and got a confirmation number and when I called to get picked up from a dealership near by the manager named Jonathon told me that he didn't have a car for me regardless of the confirmation that I received from his company. This guy was rude and very unprofessional. I had to cancel my appointment with the dealership because of his negligence and unprofessionalism. I do not recommend his place for car rental to anyone. The people that helped me get my vehicle were amazing! The car however was the dirtiest one I've ever had. I have asthma and did not realize until the drive home that the back seat had cigarette ashes on it and in the floor. Stains all over it. It was a rental through insurance but I opted for the extra insurance just in case. I could not get through to them to pay for the week after my initial 3 days. They can not be that busy. My husband even tried to get through to pay. He rents vehicles weekly for work and travel so it was confusing for him also. read more

Had a priority reservation for today to make sure I had a vehicle big enough for my two car seats. Get there and they first told me my Insurnace canceled my reservation even though I never got an email. While on hold with my insurance company I went back inside and another girl tried to tell me they didn't have me on the schedule even though I had a reservation number. She told me I could upgrade and pay the extra my insurance wouldn't pay or I could come back later and pick it up. At this point I had already dropped my car off at the collision place and would have no way to get my kids from school or back there to pick up a vehicle. This company is running a scam! Don't rent from them. I called to reserve a car. At this point the had the opportunity to tell me what was required of me to pick up the vehicle but they opted not to. When I picked up the car they said I would have to furnish proof of insurance otherwise I would be required to take theirs!!! What a scam. I have rented cars from more reputable car rental companies such as Hertz and Avis without an issue. If I don't want their insurance I simply sign a waiver indicating that I will be responsible for any damage to the vehicle. I have my own insurance so thats not a problem. These people are running a scam and more people need to know about it. A call to the local Hertz office in Conroe indicated that they simply require you to initial the waiver section of the contract if you decide not to take their insurance. This is the most unprofessional disorganized Enterprise in the state of Texas. The Asst. Branch manager was so worried about a National Company not paying them for my reservation/rental that has an account with them she would not honor my rental reservation. Previous to trying to talk to me she was harassing an older Hispanic gentleman forcing him to produce proof of income documents. This woman has zero business being in a management team role. When I asked Her what her employees did she said I can't watch everyone. Well it was her plus 3. My 2 1/2 year old could manage that. She told me she would not rent to me... leave the office or she was calling the Conroe Police Department.... Are you kidding me? As soon as I walked in I was happily greeted by a very nice woman I can't remember her name but she led me to Jared which was very nice, he helped me get situated with the car and all the different features! I made a last min reservation and was there within an hour of reservation. They had me out of there in 5 mins. I have rented from the lake Conroe location as well. I find that if you have provided what they need to allow you to rent a vehicle the process is painless and hassle free. First off allow me to say that the manager as well as the assistant manager have always been great. I don't really have problems with this enterprise location, well I didn't have problems until now. There is a new young lady named Sara that works there and she is absolutely the rudest person that I have ever come into contact with at any enterprise location. She is argumentative, there are no customer services skills that reside within this young lady. If you trained her, she needs retraining. Every single time that we interact with each other, there is a problem and she makes no attempt to rectify it. She will stand firm on what she says and offer no resolution she simply reiterates and repeats. I would never do anything to jeopardize the reptutation of a company because again Brandie (sp) and Matt are great but I go on record saying that if I had another choice to rent a vehicle that would not interfere with my work schedule or location, I would do that to keep from being in the presence of this lady. read more

This place is terrible. Made reservation at 7 am and at 9am went to the lake conroe location to pick it up and when we got there they said they didn't have any cars and wouldnt be ygetting any in. He called over to the frazier st location and they said they would have some at 3. After waiting all day at 4 we went pick up the car from the Frazier location. Guess what no cars! Finally they gave us a small SUV and after complaining they gave it to us for the original quoted price. Ok. Then they said they needed to go have it cleaned still. We waited, while we waited we could see back by the desks they had been playing mini golf with a club a ball and a red solo cup sitting out. Finally the car was " ready" We get in and there stains on the seats, trash in the compartments and the car is still dirty on the exterior. We will never rent from enterprise again. Both my daughter-in-law and myself rented vehicles from this location. It was raining and the place was crowded with wet people checking out their rentals. The staff did an excellent job getting people paired with their rentals and out the door to their next destination. Area manager called to resolve a problem. He bullied my husband and me. He talked over us and mocked us. Never been treated as bad from a "manager." Called Corporate office and complained I was told they would call me. Never received a call. Guess Enterprise rent a car doesn't value us as senior citizens and gold members. Seems like you have to be a certain kind of person for this Enterprise rent a car to treat you right. Enterprise rent a car must be ok with an area manager bullying their customers. Canceling my reservation with Enterprise rent a car this weekend. We will use a company that Enterprise doesn't own. I thought Enterprise rent a car was a family owned business. Obviously the same area manager bullies Enterprise rent a car and they are scared to reprimand him. They do seem to be a little understaffed in the busy hours, but aren't we all. I made reservations to rent a car while visiting friends in Conroe , Texas. I reserved a full size vehicle (Nissan Altima) using rental car.com to be picked up today at 3pm. I called enterprise this morning to make sure that they had my reservation and the available car. When we arrived to their lot I first noticed they had about 3 or 4 Nissan altimas in the front. My friend and I were looking at the small suvs a Rogue and I was told that I could rent one for an additional $10 per day on top of the rate I was already promised. I was thinking of actually agreeing g to it then decided to just stick with what I had originally reserved. I didn't want to spend the extra money for a bigger vehicle I didn't really need nor did i like the type of car that it was anyway. This is when the enterprise employee went back Inside and came back out to tell me that he didn't have any other vehicles to give me other then the rogue and that I didn't have to spend the extra 10 per day. I asked him what was wrong with the other Nissan altimas that were there since that's what I reserved. He said one needed an oil change the other had a cracked wind shield. Needless to say I am stuck driving in a vehicle I am not happy with. This car is a joke. It has absolutely no power at all. I will be calling enterprise tomorrow to ask that they exchange this car for something else. Or I'll take my business somewhere else. read more

I rented a car in from enterprise in Buda TX drove it straight to the enterprise in conroe TX and dropped the vehicle of the same day approx 4 hours later. The Conroe location did not report the vehicle being returned until 5 days later the result was me receiving a bill for $874.11. Make sure you check your credit card bill. They charged me 181.00 for a damage waiver I declined. I had to BRING them proof that I declined it on my contract to get my money back, which also makes me question their recordkeeping. I would go elsewhere if you have the choice, or at least keep an eye on your bill. We made reservations for a minivan a month in advance, we received a confirmation email mail this morning, 2 hours after receiving the email I got an phone call stating they did not have the vehicle we reserved and there was nothing they could do about it. I was immediately panicking, we are due to leave Saturday to go and watch our daughter graduate from Army Basic Training/AIT. After not seeing her for the last 20 weeks we will only have a short 10 days with her before she is deployed to South Korea. I explained this to the lady on the phone and very curtly she said, "I understand your frustration, there's nothing I can do" I then asked to speak to her manager, she was the manager. After almost pleading with her for help, I still got nowhere. I called Joyce at their corporate office to try and rectify the situation, she told me the area manager would call me immediately (NEVER HAPPENED). I'm not one to give up so I called the Frazier office back and talked to Zane, he was somewhat helpful, he said he would try and locate the minivan we needed and would call me back. I am not a patient person so I decided to call back an hour later, upon calling back I was finally able to speak to someone that actually helped me. The young ladies name is Adrianna, not only did she find us the vehicle we needed she was extremely caring and considerate. If anyone should be running that branch it should be her. read more

so march twelfth is national beer day, apparently. it is also the anniversary of my older brother's death (from drinking too much beer, interestingly enough). it's not a good day for me. i was getting gas on march eighth, the night before traveling to north carolina for a conference, when a man hauling a flatbed of pallets stacked too high clipped the right corner of my car and took the bumper off. it was too late in the day to get a rent car. i came home from the conference sunday evening, made arrangements this morning to get a rent car from (horrible) hertz and had lunch with my father today. three hertz locations later, no car, and i received unbelievably bad customer service at the third location. we then went to enterprise. the first location didn't have any vehicles (it's spring break, right now, so i can understand this). the second one (the location about which i am writing this review) would have some, but not until after five (about ninety minutes). jared had told me this. i was, understandably, NOT in a good mood by this point. but because he was such a happy fellow, i decided i'd go home, recover some semblance of a good mood, make the arrangements with the responsible party's insurance, then return. and when i did, oh... enterprise says they'll pick you up. i can't begin to tell you how much my mood was improved after spending ten minutes or so getting that rent car. picked up, indeed. i am SO, SO much happier. that staff there is AMAZING. thank you. read more
