I spoke with Deon and he sent over "Miranda " it was great seeing Abbie again, as she assisted me on my 2nd rental. I only needed to rent for 1 day. I returned the car on Saturday July 18th I seen that they were busy, however " Deon, Branch manager "stepped in and offered to give a courtesy ride back home as I just live less then 3 mins away. Where I used to live they were always so pleasant and when I took a car back always offered a ride back home without me asking. Now I'm less than 5 miles from this location and when I ask for the possibility or a ride home they look at me like I'm requesting heaven. They don't have to do it but the way they look back and say no leave a bad taste I won't be asking again and possibly not returning a car to this location. Enterprise is a great car rental company but some employees like the ones I've dealt here can drag them down.

He rolls his eyes at me, never says thank you, and carries a nasty attitude through the entire transaction. I learned to avoid him and ask other employees for help. I've also paid attention to how he treats other customers. I've watched him with white customers and Asian customers, and I've never seen him treat them the way he treats Black customers. Every time, it's the Black customers who get the attitude, including me. This time he refused to let anyone else help me and made it his business to handle my rental himself. Here's what happened. On September 17 I rented a car for a one day trip to New Orleans to visit my cousin in the hospital. I returned it overnight with the fuel two bars under full. I have never smoked. I have asthma, so smoking isn't something I could do even if I wanted to, and on top of that I'm having my tonsils removed next week. The next morning I came back for a phone I'd left in the car. Vega told me the car smelled like smoke and that I would not get my $300 deposit back. I smelled the car myself and there was no smoke odor. When I asked what he smelled, he refused to discuss it. He charged me for fuel on top of that. As I walked toward the branch to file a complaint, he cursed at me and told me not to come into his branch. I asked to speak to his manager. He said he was the branch manager, that it was his store, and that I could not rent there anymore. Then he threatened over and over to call the police on me. Enterprise, this man took $300 from me with zero evidence, banned me from renting, and threatened me with police for trying to report him. He has no business managing customers. I've escalated this to the regional manager and I expect my deposit refunded and this manager held accountable.
