I am very impressed with this location. The manager, Elias (and I am so sorry if I misspelled his name!!!), just called to confirm the insurance company sent over a reservation. I explained the unfortunate situation and let him know I'd likely be unable to pick up my rental tonight. He was *very* sympathetic and apologetic for what had happened to me (minor car accident). He was also very accommodating and sent my reservation over to another Enterprise in town that's open on weekends (this location is not). He took the time to explain where it's located and let me know if I can't make my time tomorrow I can call them and reschedule. As we ended the call he said he hoped I felt better - and honestly I think he meant it; he just sounded so genuine the whole call. Just absolute wonderful and caring attitude. Hopefully enterprise recognizes what a wonderful employee they have in Elias!!! read more

1) Take a pic of the gas gage also showing milage when taking delivery of car. Make sure to fill up to the same level when returning. No matter what level you fill up they will place a "refueling charge" on your receipt. At least with the picture you can dispute the charge. Also they note gas by "gallons" in the car as if any car gas gage shows gallons. It is just a way to rip you off. 2) Insist on a paper receipt when returning car. They will give you the "we can email it to you" and never do. Another way to up charge you without you seeing what they are doing. I suppose most people forget they are supposed to get the receipt and the charges go unnoticed. 3) Make sure your insurance covers "loss of use on rentals" or they'll make you buy their insurance daily and you'll end up paying double the rental rate. 4) Remember they are out to get your money any which way they can. 5) Never rent a car if you can avoid it. read more

Insanely long hold time, finally followed by a conversation with a rep who was rude and dismissive. When I asked her a question, she would simply revert to her script - she wouldn't actually answer the question, she would make a statement that was "kind of" related to my question. When I reminded her of my question, and the fact that she still hadn't responded to it, she abruptly just transferred me to the national reservations line, where, of course, I was in the hold queue again. After a 20-minute hold, the call center rep answered and told me I needed to speak to the local office for the vehicle I wanted. That is, the same local office that had just transferred me to the national reservations call center. 45 minutes total on this failed interaction with Enterprise. I've used Enterprise for many years, and have always been happy with them, so I'm guessing this local office (and the rep there) is the problem, not the corporation. The take-away here is: Rent from Enterprise still, just don't expect adequate service levels from this office. read more

This was my first time doing business with Enterprise. I reserved an SUV at very short notice, but this location no longer had any available when I came in to pick up the rental. Fortunately, they had a few minivans available that they offered for the same price, as well as an additional 5% discount for the inconvenience, so I checked them out and took the offer. They appeared fairly well maintained, and I encountered no problems during the 1,300 mile drive with the Sienna that I opted for. Upon returning it, I was happy that the discount was honored. In short, I was pleased by the quick service, painless experience, and the discount offered when the car I reserved was not available. read more

I was issued a rental car through insurance after an accident while my car was in the shop. All the gentlemen at this location are kind, friendly, and professional. I'm a young adult and this entire experience was new to me. These gentlemen all took the time to thoroughly explain (and re-explain) everything to me and ensured I had the appropriate vehicle for my allotted price range and my own comfort zone. Picked up a rental from this facility on Monday afternoon and drove it for exactly 1.2 miles to my house. The next morning around 6am I turn the car on and drove it for 3 blocks before it complete stops on me at a red light. After several attempts the car finally turns on, but it does not accelerate and it goes very slow. I was able to turn the car around on Sudley Rd and take it right back to the store. I dropped off the keys and was told that the office doesn't open till 7:30am. I had to drop off my 3 year old at school and get to work as I had meetings I could not miss. After finding a ride to the VRE Station and dropping off my child I come to find out the VRE is not working. Not only was I upset that I was given an unreliable car but now I was left at the train station without a way to get to work on a day I could not miss. I called this enterprise store when they opened and spoke to the "manager". The manager was very rude completely did not understand my frustration. I asked if I could get picked up from the VRE station at 5pm and he said NO, that they do not pick up after 5pm, when the VRE station is only 15mins away. I persisted that I should not have to pay an uber or taxi to pick up a rental car just for the fact that the one initially provided was bad. He then told me I can contact the other enterprise on Euclid to pick me up. I was able to get to the VRE and contact the Enterprise on Euclid and they were able to be great help. It is unacceptable the way the "manager" Blake Matthews handle the call. It is unprofessional and a very low standard for such a big company like enterprise. I will never go to this store again. If I have a need for a rental I will be visiting the store on Euclid and I advise for anyone that reads this review to do the same. Save yourself the terrible customer service and potentially ending up on the middle of the street from a bad car rental. read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Bad Rental and Bad Customer Service - Car Rental Near Me - Manassas, Virginia

My wife and I have had to rent a car from this location several times this year because another of our cars has broken down or been wrecked and we needed a way to get to work. Each time we have visited this location a car has been available and once we even got a larger car than what the insurace was paying before because Enterprise did not have our size car available. The young girl behind the counter has been super nice and helpful each time we have come. My only complaint and reason for not giving 5 stars is the staffing is very limited. On busy days they may have to call a person from another local store. It takes time for that person to arrive and meanwhile the line continues to grow and people are angry beacuse they have to wait. Luckily, I have called ahead and have not had to wait each time we have gone. I will continue to use this Enterprise location when we need a rental car. read more

Rented a car for a weekend trip. Rate was great and the car was fantastic. It was clean and new. The staff were exceptionally friendly and offered me a choice of cars from the lot. The staff member walked around the car with me and then showed me all the features. If you need to rent a car - I highly recommend this location. They couldn't have been nicer! Fantastic job guys! Have only used them a couple times but rental is quick and easy, my only complaint is if you don't have a credit card the experience is more involved. That was not the explanation I got at the beginning and now I just have to wait. This Branch is top notch! They are always professional and courteous, and lean forward to anticipate what's needed. The car I rented was due back by 6:00pm, but it turned out I needed it for another week. I created a new reservation on line, and was going to go into the store to sign a new contract. However, I was stuck in traffic and was worried I wouldn't make it by closing time. While still en route, I received a call from a representative, telling me he noticed I had created the new reservation, and that there was no need to come into the store. This Enterprise is one of the worst Enterprise rental offices I have rented from. I picked up a midsize car- a Hyundai Elantra and it was filthy! The first sign this wasn't going to be a great experience was the sales representative- in short dry & and the customer service of a snail. He walks me around the car for an inspection but neglected to focus on the inside of the car. Console- dirty and the interior seats look like the last person the car had a food fight on the seats (stains all over both seat). The part that did it for me is when I go back inside the rental car building to tell the rep- he proceeds to sit at his desk- look up & say "ok... I'll make note of it" - _- really?? Now I have been a faithful customer of Enterprise since 2009 as well as happily rented in Arlington & Alexandria but this place need work. Maybe the reps are pissed off bc they're renting the car& having to clean them too... I don't know but this place needs to do better. The ONLY reason I gave this location 2 stars is bc 1. It was convenient to my home & I got slight discount for being an Enterprise card member. If not for that, I definitely would have given this location & experience 1 star read more
