My relationship with Enterprise spans decades, I think because, "We'll pick you up." was so unique and catchy. No one else was openly promoting this service. This was a time when customer service meant something. I began using this Miami Gardens location post-COVID, and there was a phenomenal team in-place. Today Enterprise, and more specifically the "manager" Dimetri Byron is the definition of what's wrong with customer service in Miami. What's worse, the "manager" knows they can behave as poorly as possible because there is no integration, no system of checks and balances. "Platinum" status means absolutely nothing. Customer Service is feckless. The "Area Managers" must not exist because I'm still waiting on a communication from Jason Lordeus since March 2026. Undercover Boss WHERE ARE YOU! All I can say is stay FAR away! I used this location in the past and the service was horrible. I decided to try it today after quite a while and it is worse than I left it. Ms. Nerlita (not sure of the spelling) was beyond un-professional. She is NOT a Customer Service problem solver. In-fact she WATCHED me figure my own way out of a NO CARS AVAILABLE problem that I DID NOT create. Her response to me was "I left you a message"! Well Ma'am I did not receive your message, Im here now, I just got dropped off.... Im STRANDED Can YOU help me???? NOPE NO HELP AT ALL! Ms. N, INSTEAD preceded to continue her phone calls to customers asking them why they didnt drop off their vehicle, meanwhile I am sitting in the establishment STRANDED! Make this make sense! How did I make a reservation it was CONFIRMED and I am sitting STRANDED and then the Customer Service Rep. Ms N. didn't care at the least! I had to CALL the Miami Lakes location MYSELF. Kevin, answered immediately pulled up my reservation and said he could assist me. I then had to CALL an UBER because Ms. N told me they only have TWO people in the office and no-one can take me to the other Enterprise in Miami Lakes. My experience with Enterprise turned into a five-year legal nightmare, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. After my accident, not only was there no concern shown for my well-being, but the situation was also mishandled from the beginning. No one asked if I was okay, and the employee failed to properly collect and enter my insurance information. I was told everything was fine, but that turned out not to be true. Later on, I was the one held responsible for their mistake. Instead of taking accountability, they came after me with high-powered attorneys. At no point did I feel supported it felt like I was being taken advantage of by a multi-million dollar company Money was taken from my account, and I had to get a lawyer involved just to recover what was mine. Based on my experience, I personally feel like I was treated unfairly, and the way everything was handled raises serious concerns about how customers are treated. I was treated like trash. The employees didn't care about me after an accident. They quickly Deducted $800 out of my account, knowing that I gave all my information to them in the beginning, but he neglected to put it in because he was talking to a girl. Later on, I found out that he Was fired and everybody that was involved so that tells you a lot but yet they still come after me for five years going on six this is the worst company ever they take advantage of Black middle class people, and do us any kind of way This was my real experience, and I'm sharing it so others don't go through what I did. read more

The male manager at this location is very unprofessional. This was an insurance rental for my Tesla. When I picked up the guy was extremely rude. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but when I returned the car I stood in line 10 minutes waiting on him to finish the customer he was working with. When he FINISHED he asked me to step aside and wait for another employee to help me. He then took the next customer in line who was also Returning! When I asked him any questions he was rude and dismissive. I will NEVER USE ENTERPRISE AGAIN AND I RENT OVER 200 DAYS A YEAR! If I was returning or flying out his arrogance and inability to communicate would have caused me to miss my flight. I would not recommend this location based on this alone. Enterprise road side is a complete disaster! My wife got a 4 door Jeep and next morning vehicle would not start and had to take $60 Uber to work. I in turn had to go sit to wait for Enterprise road side they keep saying help us coming. Never showed up. After all the years of renting with EnterpriseMy experience with Enterprise Car Rental was horrible! At this point Enterprise deserves a negative 10! On March 18,& 19, 2021 I received horrible service from Enterprise North Dade location on 189st and 2nd Ave. Today is now 05/11/2021 and after almost 2 months and over 9 attempts to reach upper management to discuss and express the service and treatment we received from that location as well as the service we have been receiving from the management team that does not seem to care about our experience. This is unacceptable as most of their staff from escalations department has all stated and agrees with as well. Here a list of the times I've attempted to contact management and have been given the same lies. 3/19 I spoke with Supervisor Gunner, Resolution dep. Yermina or Yernina, 3/25 I spoke to Silvia, 3/30 I spoke to Isaac, 04/5 I spoke to Mary, 04/06, 04/07 I spoke to Lilianne from Customer Service and then she transferred me to Heather in Escalations Dept., 4/15 I spoke with Brenda in Escalations Dept, 4/19 I spoke with Sandra from Customer Service and she took info and then transferred me to Kimberly in Escalations, 5/4I spoke to Abner in Corporate Customer Care Service whom then transferred me to Jody in Corporate Escalation Dept, 5/5 I spoke with I also went on Yelp and posted a review there. Yesterday 5/11/2021 I spoke to Dave in Escalation Dept. And I'm getting the same lies. As of today 5/12/2021 I still haven't heard a word from anyone! I've never smoked and shouldn't have had to be subject to it when these are supposed to be smoke free vehicles. We had to ride with the windows down so my allergies didn't t start up and to try to clear that smell out which that didn't help. The smell was so strong if we would have been pulled over by the cops they may have thought we were smoking. Also the tires was bald. So not only are they unprofessional but they put us in danger by giving us a unsafe vehicle to travel out of town in. They should have caught all of that before giving it to me! It was My husband that discovered it when we were half way to our destination. The other sad part is as long as I was using our corporate account the service was totally different. Wether I use a corporate account or not the level of service should not depend on that! We all should be treated with dignity and respect! All our dollars matter. And that is why I will take my dollars elsewhere, where I'm treated like my dollars matter. And I advise anyone to do the same! If I could give a negative star I would. They don't even deserve half a star. I've been here at least 7 times this year. No matter what time you arrive, with a reservation, be prepared to wait at least 1 hour to receive your rental. In addition to a long wait, you will be subject to rude employees including management. Unbelievable!!!!! I received a call right before there closing time. Telling me they do not have the vehicle I reserved. Mind you pick up time is the next morning. There was no empathy or apologies. Then Amari over the phone tells me I can rent a vehicle at the airport! I rent from Enterprise all the time . After listening to him , he ask me if I'm paying with a debit or credit card. I was involved on an car accident. The insurance company made a reservation for my car rental. I fully disclose, reservation was made originally at a different location. Upon calling Enterprise, they stated that the reservation could be honored at any location of my preference. When I arrived to this location, I was told that I would have to pay additional out pocket since they did not have a car at the established rate agreement. They could have honored and provide a car that it was available as its their practice of good customer service at others Enterprises. Even after I explained that I was left at the location without a way to get back home. Mrs. SK Collins identified as the manager, Mrs Collins was less that helpful and basically dismissed me without no attempt to assist me other than to pay out pocket for the difference. I am completely dissatisfied with the way this enterprise location represented by Mrs. Collins managed my situation . I have come to this location twice. The first time was for a family road trip. The wait time took so long that my family decided to drive the family car rather than use our reservation. During my second visit, which I am currently on, I have been waiting for over an hour for a car that I made reservations for earlier this week. The office appears to be drastically understaffed. I've been using Enterprise for over 4 years and specifically this location for 3 of those 4 years. This means I have been a customer through several changes, managers, employees, policies and procedures. Though most locations have been hospitable, I have to say this is my favorite location hands down! They consistently greet you as you walk in, does a through job inspecting the vehicles and it's not just me because I have also observed their interactions with other customers. I really appreciate them from Jesse (former manager), Charles (former manager), Mishka, John, Patrick and OJ who is always ready to pick me up, take me back home and ensures the cars are properly detailed for the customers. I wish I could give a 0 star review. I was in an accident recently. I work at night and when the accident happened the first thing that popped in my head was, "I hope I'm not going to be late for work." I went on-line to the enterprise website and called the closest location. The number for this location came up and I called them. They said they would be there to pick me up within 20 minutes. 30 minutes went by and I didn't hear from them. I called back and they acted like I never called. Then they proceeded to tell me that this wasn't the location I should be calling anyway and refused to send someone. I called the next closest location and they told me that they were closing in 15 minutes and the weren't going to send anyone either. Needless to say, I didn't go to work that day. I booked the reservation online. When I arrived to this location, I waited about 30 minutes just for the agent to tell me they didn't have cars. I couldn't understand because I had a confirmed reservation. I left without a car. I called costumer service 5 times and they said they fixed it and someone from other location was going to call me but never happen. I asked 2 times to speak to a supervisor. The first person apologized and said everything was getting fixed and I he transferred me to a different location where they told me they didn't have a car. So as now about 5 hours later and with a lot of things to take care of since this was a business trip. As now I am still stock waiting for a regional supervisor that supposedly was going to contact me. I've been waiting for his call for over an hour. I think it's another lie. This place is a joke, this is not the first time this happens to me. Something similar happened in Virginia. WARNING: If you have even the slightest value for your money and patience, don't waste your time coming here. I rented out a car from them and my car got towed twice in a row, turns out they gave me a car with an expired auto tag. The fact that they overlooked this detail baffles me. Their customer service department is awful too. I asked for a replacement car to be delivered to my home twice and they told me they will send one, but I got nothing. No car, no updates, no compensation, nothing. I called again and they said that they're having technical issues and can't bring over my car now, and also they somehow screwed up my address twice even though I made them read it out to me word for word so they could have it down. I have never seen anything like this before. Even a one-star rental has more common sense and commitment to customers. I forced them to reimburse me for my tow expenses because I shouldn't have to worry about and pay for a car (and neither should you) that is not mine and for something that is THEIR FAULT. Got a rental for three days it was a last min rental and needed to get on the road ASAP so didn't really have the time to be picky about the car ... any way ended up getting a 2020 Nissan Altima it was filthy the windows looked like they had never been cleaned before and with Covid going on they claim they whipped everything down but when I got in the car and whipped it down for myself the sanitized napkin was dirty as hell then on top of it just being dirty all together the light for a oil and filter change and on then right after that one the check engine like came on... Exploiters, not Enterprise. Their business is not to rent cars, exploit customers in the name of the rental business. One rental exploitation of enterprise lost them a loyal customer for a lifetime. If you want to get exploited visit this Enterprise. I made a reservation for valentine's day weekend for pickup at 1:00 pm reservation cost is 245$ for three days. Before going to the location, I called the enterprise to check my reservation everything looked good. Booked uber from the airport paid 80$ and reached the enterprise location by 1:00 pm. After reaching the location they don't let customers come inside the location you will have to wait in the parking lot under the hot sun in the line. Enterprise representatives don't give you cars based on reservation time instead they ask you to wait in line for hours before talking to you. I had to stand under the sun till 2:25 pm before talking to the representative. Now the surprise begins instead of 245$ for the pre-booked reservation representative told me it will be 340$ if you want to get a car, they blamed enterprise corporate. Under the threat of canceling the reservation, I had to give my card. They gave me a car super dirty just received from the customer without cleaning it. The Representative told me If I want it cleaned it will take more than 30 in and the store will close at 3:00 pm risk of losing the car. It didn't end here. I called the location to speak to the manager the next day who is not worth talking to like the manager are the employees, Manager offered me to waive drop off fees which didn't happen when I went to a different store to drop the vehicle after checking they told me to drop off charges are 250$, I guess this is one more scam from them. When I went to the location to drop the car for the same dirty car manager threatened to charge me 180$ for cleaning fees even after verifying that car is given dirty to me. I had to go to a car wash location to clean the car had to do a full inspection and pay 80$ to avoid charges. They gave me the car with a quarter tank and expected to return it full tank. At this store managers and employees hide their names, the only reason that comes to my mind for hiding the names might be enterprise practices these scams daily. For the 240$ reservation, I had to spend around 500$. Never choosing enterprise again. So far enterprise and their sister companies lost 3 rental reservations from myself. read more

I've been a loyal customer with enterprise for 15 years for car rentals. In January 2020, I dealt with a customer service rep in south Florida location who lied and manipulated to get insurance commission, by telling me it was "$25" to ad it. Instead of "25 a day". He manipulates his words to trick me into it. I was not given paperwork. NOr an email to read agreement and terms. He put a $50 hold on my card Which was supposed to be refunded when the vehicle is returned. When I returned the vehicle, they kept the $50 and $130 was withdrawn out of account of which did not agree to because it was 25 $ a day X couple days. I would have never agreed to pay 25$ A day for their insurance I have my own insurance with the best policy and deductable possible. They lie by being dishonest with customers in their word choice to sell this added on insurance because their get commission. I called the manager and explained the situation he said he would refund me the $50 Which I was owed. And he said he would work with me to refund my charges back"admitting to his emplyee Being at fault". Days go by I try to contact him everyday he ignored my calls. So I put a dispute in the bank. Because I used a debit card, they Faught and won the dispute. Had a used a credit card it would be a different outcome. A car I reserved over 2 weeks was not available than it took them hours to find me a replacement. The staff was a little green, and did not know how to work their own system. They try to make you upgrade at first telling you that they will give you a good deal, but twice that I told them no, they said they didn't have the car, so I told them they either better find me a car since I reserved, or they need to upgrade me at no cost. 0 stars ! Horrible and awful customer service! They make you pay for smoking fees even if you didn't smoke! So i had to drop off my car with the Huyndai Lehman for service. The company offered meanwhile a rental car from Enterprise that is located right next to it. After waiting for 2 hours they gave me a car and made me sign on a tablet the rental car agreement. That's it ! No car inspection, nothing ! I got in the car, moved the car seat for my baby from my own car and used it for 2 days. From the moment i got into the car I've noticed it had a smoking smell. I returned the car in 2 days and left the keys with the service advisor from the Huyndai Lehman. One day later they charged my card for $150. When i called to ask what was the charge for, their manager Luis told me it was for the smoking smell and also some ashes that were found on the dashboard... Such a lie!! And yes the car did smell !! And it was given to me like this from day one ! This manager it's telling me he is sorry but there can't be any reffund because they had to spend money in detailing the car twice!! How is this my problem ??? I asked to speak to his manager and he said his name was Daniel Caballero and he was going to give me a call. Of course, no one did. And it's been almost 2 weeks.
