Moments after our rental was dropped off at your Miami Lakes location, our Sunpass was removed from the vehicle and used for tolls. This would never have happened in Venice or Sarasota Florida where we came in from. It turns my stomach to clearly observe an organized crime like what took place at our drop off. We have since deactivated the account and will pursue reimbursement for those stolen toll fees. We were so happy with the service we received in Venice then, to only be royally insulted prior to our trip by your Miami Lakes associates. I am sure travelers often forget items. We don't normally rent a car to come over from the gulf side. We usually arrange rides with family or friends but this time I encouraged my mom to get the rental and to get it from Enterprise to ensure things went smoothly. They are the WORST! If you have any kind of problem they will ghost you. I have been on hold for over 2 hours right now!!! I doubt they will even answer!!! Last time I called they did the same thing. Only once I called from a different number while I was on hold and they answered instantly, leaving my number that they recognized on hold while assisting me on a different line. Once I told them it was me they ended up giving me some made up excuse that they would have to call me back. Never happened. Clearly they were ready to help any other customer that was not me. Meanwhile I had to use roadside assistance 3 different times to jump start a bad battery on the Nissan Rogue they gave me. I missed work each time and they have yet to assist me once. I ended up having to swap out the vehicle at the airport!!! Another huge inconvenience for me. On top of all that, beware because they have shady business practices, and try to tell you your insurance company "doesn't pay for the taxes on your rental," to get you to pay more than your insurance is covering. I called my insurance company and they said that was not true and I then came back and told them I was not going for it and somehow I ended up not paying "the taxes" out of pocket. How crazy!? Blatant lies, just shameful. Lastly, the entire reason I am on hold is just to confirm my drop off date to be done with them. I will likely have to call another location just to get that information. By the way this is my first ever bad review I have taken to write in my entire life. Their service was just that HORRIBLE that I had to write this to hopefully save someone from all the trouble that I faced. Do not go here ever!!!!!!! Use anywhere else or any other company. First and foremost this location is under staffed. Some of the staff care about customers and some seem like they're there just for the pay check and lost about what their tasks are. My reservation was made with the dealer so I had no choice in where to get my rental. This isn't the first time I've had an issue but there have been times I've had no issue at all. I came in and was greeted by 2 team members. I was assisted quickly for check in and my information was taken with no issues. It then took them over an hour to get me a vehicle while giving other vehicles to other customers that came in after me. The service member I dealt with was very customer service friendly. I did however see other service members be not so kind or patient when there was a language barrier. I feel if they had more staff and filtered through their staff better it would be a quick and efficient location read more

Great customer here! Both Danny and Chris were extremely helpful when I came to pick up my car. The 4 stars is because of Enterprise's lack of flexibility as a company. I'd used my state discount to reserve a car. Once I got there, I couldn't use my bank card because they don't do business with Enterprise because of prior fraud issues with the company. I would have appreciated the flexibility of being able to have someone else pay for it or the ability to be able to add them as a driver. Especially since I'd already verified my employment and what have you. Because that is my only bank account, I had to have my mom rent the car for me and naturally had to pay more. Anyway to get more money out of you, right. Other than that my experience with this location was very smooth and greatly appreciate the level of customer service from Danny and Chris. read more

Hello do not go to the enterprise on 14975 West Dixie Highway N., Miami, FL 33162 unprofessional. I had a to pick up my car at 12 o'clock and I arrive at 11:45 AM just to be told that they were getting my car together at 12:15 I walked up to the front desk and they told me the car was coming from another location 10 minutes away. I went back to them at 12:30 and they had 13 cars coming in is what they said. I that I had an appointment that I had previously scheduled and I couldn't miss it and they told me that they another car. They bought me a car that was and dirty and I refuse to take it at 1 o'clock, they told me that they will find me another and I waited until 130 and they brought me a car just to be told that once I got in there and they gave me the keys that I was gonna be an additional $80. I talked to someone and that someone that I spoke to happen to be the manager I tried to express my concerns and etc., and I asked for his name and he told me that he did not have to give me his name whatsoever and he will not be giving it to me and he didn't give it to me. I filed a complaint and no one has responded to me yet. i'm a regular customer and I do not appreciate being treated like this. this cost my blood pressure to go up and I started feeling dizzy and fatigue. I am a senior citizen. That is very unprofessional that the manager would refuse to give their name and I have not gotten a response from the complaint team this left me uneasy, disappointed, frustrated, and angry! read more

Do yourselves a favor and pay attention to all of the negative reviews about this site. I am writing this review at 4:00 AM after a long wait for a replacement vehicle. So long story short, my wife books a rental truck to move our daughter, we go to pickup the truck and it is not ready Sooooo six hours later we finally get it, wife takes it home and loads it with all the stuff we have to take on our trip. We finally get under way and I hear a noise from the right front tire, and pull over. The front tires are both bald and full of bubbles. How can a rental company be so negligent as to rent a vehicle that is obviously unsafe for a long road trip!!! We called customer service and no vehicles were available for a replacement. They would try to have one for us in five to seven hours! We ended up having to cancel our trip. read more

The most unprofessional car rental company I have ever dealt with. I made a reservation on 11/29/22 for pickup A MONTH LATER on 12/30/22 for our vacation and received a confirmation email the same day. Two weeks ago I spoke with a representative at the Miami lakes, FL branch where we are supposed to be picking up the vehicle whom stated that the reservation was confirmed and reassured that there would be a vehicle available. Not necessarily a suburban but it would be a vehicle with 3 rows since our confirmation was for a PREMIUM SUV. Fast forward to today, less than 24 hours before our rental, at 6:14pm, when all branches are already closed and our options are NONE, I receive a phone call from Miguel from the Miami lakes office stating that they are not going to have a vehicle for tomorrow. That no enterprise within 50 miles will have a vehicle. He ALSO stated that the online reservations are not guaranteed even though it was made directly through enterprise, in his OWN WORDS "reservations made online are overbooked and therefor not guaranteed". I want to say that I am at a loss for words because of how incredibly unprofessional, inconvenient, disheartening, and just plain maddening this whole situation is but I am not. This whole scenario is a direct representation of enterprise as a whole and how they don't care about customers and their reservations. This location is horrible. If I can give it, no stars I would. The agent had me waiting on my car for over 45 minutes after I paid and already had a reservation. She did not give me any updates and I kept seeing employees coming in and out. I am asking her how long it would be or at least tell me why we waiting for a car like are they washing the car, she just kept saying 10 more minutes and 10 more minutes. I would not recommend this location to anyone!!! I travel all over the world but this location needs to be shut down or the manager of this location needs to be fired along with the agent. I wouldn't have mind the wait if they would have kept me updated on why I was waiting so long like all the other locations gives you updates. I received a rental car while my car was in the shop and later found out the vehicle had roaches in it. The first roach I saw found it's way on to my 3 month old carrier and when I went at night to look at the car I saw there were whole bunch in the car. I didn't see them when I got the car during the day. I took a video and call the fll airport location to see if someone could come and swap it out but no, they said they could only send a note to my local enterprise. Called the local enterprise Miami lakes the next day and they said they didn't have the man power to send someone. So, I had to get back in the car while my brother watched my baby to bring it back to their location and swap. This was such a horrible experience and no one could help me. read more

at first the employees were super great and very helpful. explained ALOT to me. when I go and turn in the car, I'm aware I need to pay of insurance. now when I got the car one of the employees was explaining to be about insurance (when I already gave the other my insurance card) I'm thinking I'm signing off on the car and Marcus did not tell me I'm signing off on the insurance. I never gave the FULL yes add the insurance on there. and now I had to pay for something I never said yes too. they need to be more clear with explanations and actually make sure the customer is UNDERSTANDING. read more

Never in my life will I rent from in Miami Lakes again. Customer service is deplorable, the cars are disgusting, the management team is not even all that helpful (making excuses is NOT proper customer service), and they act like they don't care. To tell me "we always have a 45 minute to 1 hour wait time just shows me that your location is incompetent and inefficient. Never have I had issues like this, even airport Enterprise gives better service. I'll be sure to tell my family and friends to no longer patronize your company; especially since apparently no one has the contact information for the actual branch manager or regional manager/director. This is the second time this rental car location has done this to me. You reserve a curtain class of a car, they start calling you days before your pick up date. When you arrive, they try to give you a different class ( something smaller ). This place is so convenient for me but I will be going to the airport from now on. I rented a car at this location and the car was filthy. The car had trash in the back seat of the car, the gas light was on in the car and the car windows were also dirty, let alone the outside of the car was not cleaned. They advertise that there cars are sanitized before you receive the car, but clearly this car was not even cleaned out. I had to go back to the rental agency for them to clean the car out and give it a two minute car wash. The employee also tried to give the car to me with soap suds on the outside of the car, in which I also had to asked him to take the suds off. I went inside beforehand and spoke with the Asst. Manager Elroy who would not give me his Manager's name. This is unacceptable. I have always rented with them and was very disappointed with this service. I will be taking by business some where else. Terrible service! The service you guys provided to me and my family it was the worst service we have ever had! We made a reservation in July 2018 for a Chevrolet Suburban or similar to be used in December (six months in advance), we needed the larger SUV for 7 people and multiple suitcases for a long trip during 9 days. That's why we wanted the best for more than a thousand dollars total. We received an email confirmation the day before, and on the mobile app everything was good, showing the reservation in green as expected; until the reservation day when we arrived to your office and the representative told us that you didn't have the car that was reserved. It was a smaller car, and not other options available form you! We explained that we needed the big SUV and there was no other options! At the end we had no choice and use that smaller SUV, plus somebody else driving in another car because our family and suite cases didn't fit in the smaller car. More than that, the car you give us (the only option available) smells cigar and the tires wasn't in good condition. The only option we had was going to PepBoys and spend 3 hours until they change the tires. Three hours that we lost on our long travel. The cigar smell continues bothering us until the last day, that was very uncomfortable for our family for more than a week! When we returned, we asked for a discount because all the issues we had, and nothing else was given to us in compensation. I don't think we are going to be using your services anymore, as well as telling to all our friend and family about your horrible service received from you. More than that, we will file a compliant with the FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection for your horrible business practices. read more

Well I got screwed over because they have "no cars" about a week ago instead of getting what I was promised which was a luxury car i got a mediocre corolla with nothing in it no navigation or anything. I was forced to take it since it was the only car they had and they were going to close. The staff was nice but I will never do business with enterprise again when I know they have hundreds of cars in Miami Internation Airport but couldn't get cars from there. Stay away from this place if you can avoid it. update: I called today because my insurance agent told me they said they should have a luxury car turned in at 4:30 today. I reserved my reservation on a regular 4 door sedan.I was taking a trip from Florida to north Carolina to pickup my daughter. Reservations was booked for 4:30 I was there since 4:00 PM and waited until 5:50 PM. I had to wait since they didn't have a sedan and wanted to give me a 4 door toyota pickup / I couldn't accept a pickup for a long trip as I was going to do. The representative that was handling my reservation found me a UPGRADE.....what a damn upgrade let me tell you, the Nissan morano was all beaten up. Dents all over front bumper out of its place, back bumper was also damaged. Vehicle even had previous damages and they didnt even notice and thank God I did and it was well noted on his bill of inspection. The vehicles interior was very dirty. Dirt all over. I had to stop to try to clean it a little bit. You couldn't even see when it got humid with all the dirt the windows had. I was glad I purchased the insurance from them. Why? Because when I went back to take the car and return it they couldn't even locate the pictures taken by the other rep that handed me the murano. They found the inspection and I was glad to get it out if my way. It did the job for me and got it done but a cleaner car and something better taken care of would have won a 5 stars. I will use them again and hope to have a better experience with them next time. read more

Unfortunatly I can give no stars.. but this Enterprise has to be the worst location in the country. I have NEVER rented a car from here without an issue. 1. This location NEVER has the car you reserved because of excuses such as "it was given to someone else" "they don't have enough cars delivered" "they are waiting on cars from the airport". WARNING: DONT EVER rent a van from this location because they WONT EVER HAVE IT!!! 2. This location NEVER has the rentals clean! If your lucky enough to get a clean car you have to wait hours past your pick up time because "they never have enough people to clean the cars". I have been forced to drive off in a DIRTY car before because I refused to wait 2 HOURS to have it cleaned. 3. This location has terrible customer service! You can ALWAYS count on multiple customers screaming and upset in the reception area because the car they paid for and reserved is not available, ready, clean or in decent shape. 4. This location will have you drive off with no gas in your rental. They never have "time or people to have anyone fill up a tank" either. Service is non-existent. They took my reservation to pick me up at my hotel at 10 AM. Never showed. I called for hours and they would pick up the phone and hang it back up. I called reservations several times with no resolution and finally made a new reservation for 5 for me to go get it. Car not ready. Watched them hang up on callers. Every time I have come to this location on NW 167th in Miami lakes I have to wait half hour or more. I do not recommended this location to anyone. If you are renting for business reasons you will never make it to your location on time. I am fed up with this place and the wait I would rather rent from Thrifty or Avis down the street. NEVER again! Manager has been present the whole entire time I have been waiting here seated and has not addressed me or apologized for my wait. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. This was the worst experience i have ever had. What a waste of time and money. I arrived at 4:45pm to get my reservation at 5. The girl at the front tells me that they are cleaning the car to wait a few minutes .... I ask which car is it? Her reply is she doesn't know.....so the lies start here. After 20 minutes of waiting i get taken to mid size sedan. I requested a full sedan.... They said they had none ready anr gave me a suv then said that wasn't available. They had a Ford Fusion ready to go but didn't have the "key". I finally get a car and hour later at 5:45 and the windshield wiper doesn't function on one side. I tell the girl and she says one side works.... I said do you really expect me to drive when there's expected rain all weekend with one functioning wiper.
