Beyond amazing customer service! After having some terrible car rental services in the past with long waits, rude agents, reservations not being ready or available, etc... it's easy to recognize great customer service and friendly staff. I travel a lot for work and have been to my fair share of rental locations. I had a weekend rental that I picked up on a Friday and was planning to drop off Monday morning at 8am when they open. Even before my reservation day, 2 days ahead of time, someone called me to confirm the rental and pickup time as I was having someone pick me up from home. That was great so I don't worry that they'll forget or be late. On the day of my reservation the agent came right on time to pick me up and offered to help load the car with my luggage. She drove very well and we had a friendly conversation to the rental office. When I arrived to the office, my car was ready and I was greated by Tyler. I didn't have to wait to be helped or wait for a car to be cleaned, or show up. It was ready and paperwork was made up. We went through the basics of adding on gas, insurance, etc if I wanted. Tyler asked if I was planning to return the car Monday morning and needed a ride back home and I said yes, at 8am when you open. He asked if I had any flexibility in that time since Monday mornings are their busiest times and the wait to get a ride could take an hour or two. I said I had to get to work but could work with that if needed since I had no other option. I asked if there was a pickup service for returning the car and there wasn't. However, Tyler saw my address on the paperwork and said he lives close by and could find a ride over and pick up the car Monday morning on his way to work. I was really happy about this so I didn't have to waste all the time to go back to the office and wait to get a ride back before going to work! He didn't have to do it and yet he offered and said he'd set a reminder for himself. I've never had someone go out of their way to make the process that much better. Monday morning comes and Tyler came to pick up the car even after he called in sick as he got poison oak. He took an Uber over just to pick up the car so he could keep his promise of picking it up. He could have easily called to tell me he was unfortunately unable to pick it up and I would have returned it to the office. But he went above and beyond to keep a customer happy and satisfied with the ease of everything. That says a lot about Tyler and I really appreciate what he did. He deserves a big bonus and is definitely one of my favorite examples of great customer service. I give them a zero if I could. I was in a car accident and my insurance company got me a rental from Enterprise in Milford, OH. The customer service was great and I really enjoyed my experience all the way up to the point where they accused me of damaging a vehicle. The vehicle was damaged when I picked it up and the Rep said it's marked. Of course me not having experience should have made sure it was on my contract. If they are dishonest then they don't do their job correctly. I'm sure they hear I didn't do it all the time. I have a perfect driving record no speeding, no accidents that I've caused absolutely nothing. I've never broken something and didn't take responsibility for it. I'll never go back to them and I may just get a lawyer and sue them for damages and stress. read more

I would give a zero if I could!! Buyers beware!!! Appalled at the customer service! My mother travels 3 to 4 times a year and has used enterprise for her rental needs. The Milford location screws people over!! They tried to charge her more than what the original price was to rent the crappy vehicle. When my mother came over with the rental car there was damage to the lights, the sides of the car and hood. They have charged my mother's insurance company $500 to fix three small dings on the hood of the rental car that was there prior to her even renting the vehicle. They said my mother jumped on the hood of the car. What would a 65-year-old woman be doing jumping on the hood of a car?!?! I couldn't believe How they treated her. Me and the rest of my family will not be recommending this company to anyone for any travel needs!!! I will make sure that everyone knows about this experience!! read more

We are regular customers at this enterprise. They've always been polite and professional. They are very easy to deal with and they do care about their customers Tyler however has been exceptional. He goes out of his way to give us great customer service. This is very refreshing these days and almost unheard of... in a world where companies just seem to not care it really comes down to their individual people that make or break the interaction with their customers. I want to commend Tyler and all the staff at this location. They've been wonderful and have made our rental experience is a A++. Recently however they really came through for us and help us greatly even though we rented the wrong size car. They made the adjustment quick and easy. Have used Enterprise for the last time. I use the 3 or 4 times a year but never again. I was charged more than the internet price this time and the last time I went to east gate they did the same thing. When I got there the guy was in a hurry and said do you want any of the other coverage and said you have rented before and know what all it was. I said yes and said I didn't want the extra coverag. So he did a quick walk around which there were scratches on car and headlights on top and scratches on it. But when I returned they claimed I put 3 large dents on the hood of the car which if you look sideways you can't tell that they are there. My son said he noticed them when I arrived at his house the next day. They claim I put 3 large dents in the hood of the car which I never did and the car had scratches and the headlights on top had scratches all of them when I got it. My family was surprised of how crummy the car was that they gave me in the first place. When you do a walk around when you get the car make sure you look at everything because they don't look that good so they can accuse you of the damage when you bring the car back and charge your insurance for it because they want you to pay for their insurance on top of that. And the last rental I did at the eastgate location I was supposed to get a small truck and they waited until I was on the way there and said we don't have one you will have to take something else read more

What a nightmare. My Ford escape broke down while on vacation in Florida. My car was under warranty and ford was supposed to pay for my one way rental. Since the clerk couldn't find fords information on a Sunday I gave them my ccd to put a hold so I could get home on time. Car was returned at 8am yesterday. Enterprise picked up the car from Ford nothing was said Today I call enterprise to see why hold was not released. He tells me there was a crease on the car. No one called to inform me or get my ins info, or to even tell me this was an issue. The car has been rerented and there is no proof of damage presented to me. I cant be responsible for what happens when the car is not in my possession. It was fine when I dropped it off. The manager seems to think my ccd is his piggy bank. Charge has been disputed. This is fraud So now enteprise is responding but none of the emails they are sending me show that they even understand the issue. FORD IS WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN BILLED NOT ME. read more

Katie, Tyler, and Daryl at Enterprise Milford are great people. Even though the regular driver was a little late with picking me up, Katie took care of me when I got to the location. She gave me a free upgrade and made sure that I was on my way. When I got back a week later, Daryl subbed for the regular driver and took me to my destination. Very pleasant guy! I shared this with my mother who also just had a very great experience with this location. She needed to get her car serviced up on Rt 28. After picking up the rental, within 5 minutes, the mechanic called her and said the car was fixed. My mother went back to enterprise and they waived the charges for the day and still dropped her off at the auto shop. In addition, prior to this, they offered even to take her home which was over the 5 mile radius limit. The individual that assisted my mother was Tyler, who I believe is the manager at this location. I reserved a Premium SUV for the weekend, as we were seven people and I was the only driver. I had my confirmation and the people at the rental even called me to confirm the reservation but when I went to the Milford, OH branch, the representative told me that they are over booked and offered me a Cherokee. When I said I can't fit 7 people in it, he called few other branches but he couldn't find any 7 people vehicle. He asked me to call the customer service as he couldn't do anything much. I called them and was able to speak with a person who found me a Dodge Journey (Not a premium SUV, Not even a Large SUV) at another location. As I didn't know much about that car I was shocked as the third row had no leg room at all and I was not ready to put our grandparents in there for our 10 hour drive to NYC. I spoke to the manager there and she told me to rent this and find a replacement on our way to NYC and swap it. I got back home and I checked the availability for a Premium SUV around Cincinnati and called around 10 locations that showed availability. When I ask them if they have one available they say yes but the moment I say it's a swap they would retract back their statement and say that they are over booked. I was fed up and called the manager and told her that I wanted to return the car back, I refused to pay the day's rent as I hardly had it for two hours and drove less than 10 miles. After that she spoke to someone and found me a Traverse (Better than Journey but still not a Premium SUV) so I agreed and we drove that to NYC. The third seat leg room was terrible (All adults) so after reaching NYC I went to an Enterprise there around 12PM (Most of the branches there close at 1PM), They told me they had an Expedition but asked me to come back 30 mins later as they had to clean it. I got back at 12:30 but they handed me the key at 12:50 and when I had a chance to look at the interior it had Dog hair everywhere. I then went in and asked them if they could vacuum it for us and he replied saying that it's from a fur coat and they cannot clean it and told me to take it or leave it. I had to take it as every other place around was closed and sneeze my way back to Cincinnati. After all this I was still charged for the Premium SUV. I would really appreciate if Enterprise could have their inventory updated on the website and not overbook. read more

Worst customer service. Scheduled car 24 hours ahead of time and no car was ready. I had to wait 20 minutes for them to clean the car. Then while driving the car it has a wheel out of balance or wheel rub and is extremely noisy to drive. I asked if they would switch the car out and they would but I have to go back to location. I asked if they would exchange at my work 1/4 mile down the road and they refused! Even though their motto is we'll pick you up! Go figure. Well never again. read more

The manager at enterprise in Milford is absolutely amazing. I was lost after losing my car and being declared a total loss. I didn't know how I was going to afford a rental or what I was going to do. NEVER, AND I MEAN NVER GO TO THIS PLACE. My elderly grandma rented a car from them. This car had dings and dents all over. They were pointed and was told it was no problem. They hounded and harassed her to buy THEIR insurance and she refused. The guy was getting rude (he apparently doesn't work there anymore and I have to wonder why). She had the car for 18 days and put 250 miles on it. As soon as she brought it back the worker went straight to the car and looked underneath it. I have rented from the Middletown location several times and they have NEVER went straight to the vehicle and looked underneath (sketchy). Low and behold there was damage underneath. You know damn well it was there before she took the car! This is called Elderly Financial Exploitation. After reading the other reviews, this is NOT the first time they have done this. Shame on you!! How do you sleep at night?? We have contacted our lawyer and you WILL NOT get a dime from her!! read more

I needed a ride from the auto repair location. About 1 mile from Enterprise. Called and was put on hold at 8 am on 5/11 which was a Monday. I drove my car to the car repair location checked it in and still was on hold. Started walking and got the Enterprise rental location about 8:45, still on hold from first call. It became a quest by then to see how long I needed to hold. Got into line, they were busy, and when it was my turn to be helped, I hung up, From start to hold to service was 47 min. I mentioned it and was told, that Monday am were busy and was given a 5% discount for having to walk, and they said they were doing the best they could. Ok, I can help with that burden by renting from someone else next time. They asked if I wanted to bring back the car gas tank full or empty. I chose full. Ok, when we got to the car it had not been cleaned and the tank was empty. I was late to work and just took it anyway and had to stop to get gas on the way to work. read more
