We've had to rent from this location 3 times in the last 6 months and every time they go above and beyond to take care of us. They always have a selection of sedans and SUVs, the cars are spotless, and the employees treat you with respect while making every effort to accommodate you. I wouldn't consider renting from anywhere else after our wonderful experiences with this particular Enterprise location. read more

This business lacked the stock, structure, efficiency, and staffing to be considered a reputable business. Actually, most of this company's locations in the city are the same. Makes it worth spending a few more dollars with other companies. However, the lone staff person , Kevin, during peak hours deserves kudos, extra support, and a gigantic raise. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do not trust this location! They tell you that they have cars when there is really no availabilty. We were scheduled to be picked up and given a car through a direct-billed insurance claim. The insurance company has a business relationship with Enterprise. So, the Insurance company made the arrangements and we called this Enterprise location to confirm the time, date that we needed the car. We talked to Rachel, who suggested a pickup day and time that coincided with the time that they usually have a large selection of automobiles. She said that we would have a better selection of automobiles if we agreed with her suggested pickup date and time. Also, she suggested that we call them 30 minutes before our pickup time to let them know that we are ready. We agreed to accept the pickup day and time that Rachel suggested. During this phone conversation, which occurred 48 hours before our pickup time, Rachel was highly accommodating and pleasant. So on the pickup day, just as Rachel suggested, we called this location 30 min before our reserved pickup time (as suggested by Rachel) to let them know that we were ready to be picked up. Once again, we talked to Rachel. This phone conversation was very different from the one that we had with her just 48 hours prior. Quite matter-of-factly, she informed us that they did not have any cars and would not have any cars available for us for 5 days. She was unapologetic and did not attempt to help us find a different location to help us. Actually, she even implied that someone else must have told us that this pickup date and time was good because she did not tell us that. Such matter-of-fact, unaccommodating rudeness was completely uncalled for. Rachel needs a lesson in customer service. She had no integrity. She was unapologetic for their lack of cars. She did not help us to get a car from a different location. She stated that someone else gave us the incorrect information. Actually, she gave us the incorrect information, but she would not admit it. We looked up the phone numbers for other Enterprise locations and called. The Broad St. location was more helpful in helping us to find a car and they had no obligation to do so. The Springhill location had our reservation, reneged on it and did not help us at all to find a car. We will NOT use them ever again. read more

This is a Pandemic and am Trying to be understanding of a business I've used for many years. Especially on a Holiday week. But no one is answering the phone. Phone rings & rings. One man said he drove there to extend his Rental because no one would answer the phone. Took an hour to rent a car and almost as long to return it which shouldn't be the Case. We have rented cars from Enterprise in Daphne, AL for 3 years now. We average 4 - 5 rentals a year. We have always gotten good service until the last 2 times. This last time, which was last week was a horrendous experience. The 'new manager' was there and she has no business working with people what so ever. She was rude, extremely unprofessional, condescending and just plain mean. We have never been treated that way especially from an Enterprise. Then we had to wait to get the car that was reserved a week in advance. Finally got the car and it was filthy dirty, this was after they had supposedly cleaned and washed it. Because of the way we were treated by that so called "manager" we will NEVER give our hard earned money to enterprise again. There are to many other rental companies out there. I've had pretty good experiences with Enterprise overall but there seems to be customer service issues at this one. Try to get any service from the outlet over the phone and their disinterest is abundantly apparent. Over the course of our extended rental we dealt with 3 people. One (Dustin) provided the kind of service one would and should expect. The other 2, not so much. As posted by someone else, there can be the issue of a lack of vehicles at this location despite reservations. We experienced that as well. With the better ratings at other outlets in the area, perhaps regional management needs to take a closer look at this location and make some improvements. read more

My husband has good experience with Enterprise, so maybe my experience was just based on this branch... I made a reservation over a week ahead, yet when the time came they could not pick me up as arranged. Two hours after it was due, they finally said it was "almost ready" but had to be cleaned first. Good thing I planned pickup a day ahead, so I could pack the car for our trip! About three hours after reservation time, I finally got the keys. I was given two options for rental insurance; their basic and their premium. My own auto insurance, which includes rental insurance, wasn't an option for them. This information was, of course, mentioned AFTER they swiped my credit card. Driving out of the parking lot, the tire pressure light and oil change light were both on. On returning they filled the tires and assured me that the oil change was recent according to records, and I must say that the mileage supported that. The car itself was good; compact car but trunk large enough for the trip and it was a reliable car if small on gas tank size. I am satisfied as far as the car goes, which is why I upped it to two stars. Upon returning the vehicle I discovered that the "weekly rate" for rental and their own insurance wasn't the same thing; the rate for insurance was actually a daily rate. Poor reading on my part, but it means that my cost was a little more than doubled including insurance. I mentioned to the clerk that my own insurance (which I'm already paying for anyway) wasn't given as an option, and there was no reason or apology given. Odd thing; my husband has always been able to use our insurance with his rentals -- as I said, something was unusual with this branch. If I use this company again it won't be this branch, and to use this company again I'll have to do some research first. read more

I plan leaving reviews on Enterprise at every single online location that I can find! This company is a huge scam that doesn't care about their customers at all! They are only interested in over-booking car reservations that they cannot honor!! I was completely "SCREWED" by Enterprise in Mobile, AL (Springhill Office) The manager of this store left me literally outside on the sidewalk in TEARS, because despite the RESERVATIONS that I had made, there were no cars available to me!! I was on my way to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas to see my son graduate from Basic Military Training. They did not care what my circumstances were, nor did they even offer to take me home after telling me that there were no cars available! All they kept saying was, "I'm sorry ma'am, there's nothing we can do." Before I had someone DROP ME OFF at their office, I had just spoken with someone that told me that my car was there and ready for pick up!! When I asked what they were going to do for me to compensate me, or to honor the RESERVATION that THEY had made for me, they told me there was nothing they could do, and they were about to close!! I had to wait outside in the cold and the dark, for over an hour until someone from my family could come pick me up!! I will NEVER trust Enterprise again for car rentals, as they make promises that they don't intend to keep and they could care less about their customers! I will tell EVERYONE that I know as well, so that no one else gets put in the same predicament that I was in!! I've never been treated so rudely in my life! read more
