I have rented through this Enterprise location a couple of times, and I have been impressed both instances. The staff here are conscientious and helpful; both times I was in and out quickly, even though they were quite busy. Also, my deposit was returned immediately after I returned each of the vehicles. I was extremely dissatisfied with the Morristown Enterprise Rent a car. They said I needed to have a $300 deposit to rent the car. When I got there they informed me I needed the whole amount upfront. Which I have never had to pay for it all up front. And I could not use two different credit cards. It could only be on one card. They were not at all helpful. And pretty snotty about the whole situation. Enterprise missed out on almost $800 because they would not work with me. I will tell everyone not to go to Enterprise. read more

Rented for purpose of driving out of state for a sudden emergency. Booked & received "confirmation" #. I traveled over an hour to this location only to find out they never had an available rental in the first place. I was told that their national reservations are not tuned into what goes on at the local locations. The employees that I dealt with did not give two shits about the dilemma they put in! " Meh. I've experienced better. " From enterprise. I've been an Enterprise customer for a very long time. That said, I see a disturbing pattern in many businesses today. The practice of credit discrimination. The demand for payment by credit card or debit card only is an older practice however if using a debit card the rental becomes more burdensome. My choice to not have a major credit company take $40 bucks a year from me so I can pay interest on something that I have the money right now to rent is my own business. I should be able to use cash. "All debts public and private" cash. I'll concede that there is crime out there and criminals might steal from your lots. That is a risk of doing business. Everyday grocery stores, banks, gas stations, restaurants and garage sales conduct business using cash. A credit card does not guaranty the safety of anyone or anything. It does make it harder for an employee to steal...Is that the real reason? Beyond that is the New "We've always done this" practice of demanding to see a utility bill with a zero balance. What are you trying to prove here? If your just looking to prove the person lives where they say they do, that is flawed and a zero balance has nothing to do with that. Most drivers licenses come with that information already. I'm sure you're aware of the "clean utility bill black markets" that spring up just around the corner from your locations. It's just a guy with a van, laptop and portable printer. $5.00 any Con Ed. A drivers license , proof of insurance, and payment & deposit that is fine. Why the elitism? Is there some kind of kickback from VISA? Most businesses have to pay extra for the privilege of using visa. Do you then pass that expense to your customer? I wonder if you went to a cash only model the saving from not having to pay visa would pay for increased security presence thereby increasing your customer base, security and creating jobs in the process. BTW. The agents were nice, the car meh the ride was weird, but I'm used to an Avalanche with air suspension. read more

We reserved our rental car online. When we got to the office, it took maybe five minutes for the paperwork and we were out of there. When we returned the car, they credited our deposit back to our card and told us we would receive it in a few days. We received the money back on our card the next morning. It was an efficient, pleasant experience and we would highly recommend them. read more

I will give 2 stars for having the vehicle their, ready to go, and good customer service all the way around. The only disappointment I have is how nasty the vehicle was. When I got on the road and the sun hit the windows all you could see is smears smudges and handprints. The console, doors and floors were sticky. I spent 2-3 hours cleaning it myself. read more

Lets start with this place doesn't even rate 1 star, its below a 0. Made the reservation online for a mini van we were traveling to pick up new Marines from basic and needed the room. When I got to the location to pick up the van I was told I didn't have anything reserved, then I was told I made it for pick up on Sunday. The place is closed and you cant even make a reservation for Sunday pick up or drop off.Then I showed them my printed confirmation showing the dates I needed the van. I was told they didn't have any vans or cars for that matter. Brandon the branch manager would try and get something from Geeneville. If he could get it I would have to drive to Greeneville over an hour and a half away round trip and get the van. Then it really goes to hell after this, Brandon then answered the office phone and took a reservation, after that he answered his personal cell phone and walked in the garage. A few minutes later he came back in and sat at the back desk talking on the phone. He wouldn't even acknowledge us continued to pick up phone calls. Customer service for phone calls but no customer service for a paying customer inside the store. There was not one phone call made to me about them even finding a van for us. No apologies were made, Nothing!! This trip was planned well in advance and to be treated as such was uncalled for. I left and went down the road to Hertz and rented from them for twice the amount. I got to Parris Island,SC to see the Marines graduate. Please stay far way from this company and branch. If anyone will ask about this branch or company I will make sure to tell my story and let them know just how Enterprise works in Morristown TN. read more
