First of all the young lady when I picked up the car, I would swear, was high or something. This is the second or third time I've had a bad experience in a row with enterprise Rent-A-Car people. The vehicles that they supply are damaged in someway. Like the last one I picked up, had hail damage all over it, and chip in the windshield in the drivers view, not to mention a bad shimmy when you got up to interstate Speeds. Got attitude from the local staff in the Murray Kentucky location whenever I would call. I was told that 4 or five days after I return the rental would be the only time I could talk to district management, and that never happened. Likely the last enterprise rental I'll ever get, and honestly they're the most convenient to my location. read more

Terrible experience will never rent from Enterprise again. The young lady that helped me was very pleasant. She pulled the car up front and showed me some of the dings and scratches on the outside. I was in a rush, didn't care, and filled out the paperwork. Again, I was in a hurry; I hopped in the car and noticed it smelt like cigarettes, but I had to pick up my daughter. Upon arrival, she and her friend noticed how disgusting the inside was. The seats were utterly stained, and we all had headaches from the smell after a bit. I accept that it was my fault for not inspecting the car, but shame on Enterprise for renting a car in that condition and putting the consumer in a position to ensure the vehicle quality. I have less expensive companies in the past and received a far better vehicle. UPDATE: We contacted Enterprise in Murray, KY, this morning and expressed dissatisfaction with our rental. Customer service was very understanding and apologetic and offered to make things right. I have changed my rating to three stars--one star for the car we received but five stars for customer service. read more

Horrible experience from the moment I arrived (first in line) I was treated as though I was an inconvenience to them and they had other issues they'd rather attend than to me. My reservation was made and confirmed and they showed me my car. Took my payment for the rental from my debit account and insisted on a security deposit of $200 (higher than the weekly rental rate of the car) because of this issue I used my credit card which I had made my complete balance payment on only a few hours earlier after I had received my paycheck direct deposited to my bank account so when the card was ran it was declined, no biggie I'll call my cc company and have them authorize the charge which I did and they confirmed yes funds are available to complete the transaction and that only took less than 10 minutes However over an hour had passed and I kept my cc agent on the phone Incase of any issues and only to find out that the moment I made the call the agents at enterprise decided to cancel my transaction in order to help other customers who were just arriving this action therefore caused the $189.xx that had been paid from my bank account for the rental portion of payment already to become in limbo until the next business day which would be on Monday and this was a Friday. I was eager to begin my home time as I am a NEW truck driver and live over 8 hours away in Louisiana and have been away from my family for over a month now and only get 6 days of hometime before I have to be back up here to begin my 2nd phase of training requiring me to be away from home for up to 2 months now. The agents never confessed to this being the reason for the error and kept blaming it on my card being declined however I had my cc company agent on the phone the entire time monitoring my account in real time and she said they never even swiped my cc the 2nd time which alludes to the fact they made the mistake of canceling my transaction and I assume my money would be returned to my account but as this is the last $200 I had in my cash account I'm now left stranded 8 hours from home and could take up to 72 hours before I MIGHT see my money back in my account let alone even try to make my way home to only spend 1 day home and turn right around and return back. To say I am upset is an understatement a better statement would be that this unprofessional agent left me stranded and stole my money and all they could say was ooops I'm sorry and only in a tongue in check tone at that. They were very rude by skipping over me to begin with and very unprofessional by not making some sort of arrangement to perhaps waive the deposit fee in order to help me get home to my family in a reasonable time especially since I've used other rental car companies before and none have ever required a deposit before and only needed a card on file just Incase. read more

Enterprise in Murray,Ky has poor management they put you on a list and never get back with you on renting a car. I know what the problem is Murray needs more rental car places in o be more of a challenge than just mainly just one there is a hertz...but it's not big enough...so with my experience will never and I mean never rent from enterprise again !!...If I could give a 0 stars I would !! read more

0n Sept. 25 I called this number 270-753-3400, which is the direct number to ENTERPRISE Car Rental in Murray, KY. Apparently they were too busy to answer the phone and the call was picked up by an answering service. This person booked a reservation for me and during the conversation I made it very clear I wanted a mini van or a Suv. The reservation went smoothly and before I hung up I was assured I could pick my car up on Sept. 29th and I was assured I could drop the call off in Florida. When I arrived they had reserved a mid size car and told me I could not leave the car in Florida. The car had to be returned to Murray, KY. So not only was the wrong car reserved, they also only allowed one way rental. Thank goodness for HERTZ. I would think twice before renting a car from ENTERPRISE in Murray, KY. read more

MURRAY KENTUCKY ENTERPRISE BOZOs. I made a reservation online for a VA appointment that I have that takes 3 months to get. When i got there my daughter left and i was stranded and they said all their vehicles were reserved for other people that made reservations earlier than i did. So now im carless stranded 100percent disabled Vet with no car to get to an appointment over an hour away from me drive time. PLEASE do not use this company read more

Murray, Ky Enterprise is a horrible agency. I had an automobile booked for 2 1/2 weeks for pickup at Murray and return to Nashville Airport. Went to get my car today and was told they did not have any 'one-way' cars. I missed the flight and had to rebook (at my expense). By now being late, it puts me in jeopardy with my employer. Don't book here unless you are prepared to leave unhappy. read more

Made reservations two weeks ahead and confirmed them twice before arriving. Upon arrival, they tried to give me a KIa Soul when I reserved a large SUV, then tried to give me a standard SUV and said I would get a discount if I wanted to drive it before it was cleaned. I waited for two hours for my full size SUV to arrive and was charged $600 more than I was quoted. I'm so disappointed in their service, lack of communication and social skills. They value profit over people. It was a horrible experience and will be the last time I rent a car from the Murray, KY location. read more

Wish I could give it negative 5 stars. Garbage. Showed up at 7:15 to get our car reserved for 7:30, sat and waited in acknowledged for about 30 minutes until a young twat faced man "helped" us. We weren't informed before hand about the paperwork we'd need, had to run home and get it. Then he tells us he can't take my friends credit card because the car is in my name, sends me to the bank (which wasn't even open for another 20 minutes) to switch money into my account. Called the store to see if they would take a check, since the bank then wasn't open yet and he said yes. If he had let me know they would take a check prior to that I wouldn't have had to drive across town to my still unopened bank and back. When I returned to the store the "man" who was with me and had told me to go to the bank was now dealing with another customer. He completely ignored me when I walked back in. I stood at the counter and he made no eye contact or acknowledgment until I asked why I wasn't being helped. His answer was that I had left so he started with another customer (a customer who hadn't been there for nearly an hour at this point like I had) So I had to wait another 20 minutes for him to finish with the obviously more important customer. I finally got my car after an hour and fifteen minutes there. I will never, ever EVER use this location again and I will be sure to let everyone else know how rude everyone was. I was 1.5 hours late leaving for my 10 hour car ride, so I will be late arriving and miss most of tonight's event. So pretty much this place sucks large dick. read more
