The worst experience with this company. I booked my car but they said we don't have car. They don't understand the business.

When my car's brakes started making bad noises, I knew it was time to let the dealer fix it. My shade-tree mechanical fix from last summer came back to haunt me as my right rear brake caliper, rotor & disc pad were shot. Since most dealers don't have a rental pool of cars, the only thing to do was contact Enterprise. They rented me a nearly new Kia Sportage after picking me up at the dealer. When my car was fixed, they dropped me off at the dealer & was on my way. Over the years, I've rented from all of the big-name auto rental companies. Most of them try to tack on hidden charges, but not Enterprise. Easy to work with! read more

Novi Enterprise is by far the best rental location in town. We want to give special thanks to Phil for helping us out with finding the perfect sized SUV and giving us a great price. The car was in per steen condition and drove smooth. Everyone was high energy and polite there. When we went to drop off the car at Enterprise I was told my personal vehicle I was going to pick up from the car shop they had told me my battery had completely died. Phil was kind enough to give us a ride back to our home in the vehicle we had rented. Phil saved us in taking an uber back home. They are so polite on the phone. Then when you get there to pick up your car, they try to sell you insurance even though your own insurance company covers it.. talk about fast talking . they give you three days to cancel it but to cancel it you have to go into as they say, any of their offices. Well, try To tell that to the guy who's office you visited. And certain of them close at noon on Saturday so you have to go running around to another office. When the dealership told them that it would take three more days to complete my car, they demanded 160 more dollars for insurance. I slightly told them how I'm being ripped off. They fully expect this because they know they're high pressure salespersonnel. Well, I can tell you if I get any more trouble when I go tomorrow, I'll cause even more trouble. Oh, and I have a handicap currently having serious back and leg problems using cane and walker. Thankfully I can drive just fine, but why do I have to go running around to the various offices to cancel their insurance that they assured me could be cancelled. They just keep taking and taking and taking and you have to battle your bank to get it back. Do not rent your car from this company. This is part two of the review written for the 24400 Drake Road, Farmington Hills, MI location. After being REFUSED a pick up by the 24400 Drake Road location TWICE, I called a different Enterprise location at 25100 Novi Road in Novi, Michigan which is 3.1 miles from my home. I explained to the Novi Road location that the 24400 Drake Road location REFUSED to live up to their slogan "We'll pick you up" and I wanted to return the rental to their location and be given a ride home. The assured me that I would be given a ride home. When I arrived there was a long wait to return my rental. The process was completed after closing time due to the large number of people waiting. When I asked about my ride home I was told the employee who was supposed to drive me home had left for the day. I reminded the employee that I called and was guaranteed a ride home! I was completed dismayed when the Enterprise employee at the desk of the company with the "We'll pick you up" slogan advised me to call Uber for a ride home. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Another customer overheard Enterprise REFUSING to take me home as promised and offered me a ride home. If this customer had not taken me home and I refused to call Uber, would Enterprise have done the legally responsible thing and given me the ride home that they guaranteed before I arrived? Or, would the Enterprise employees physically pushed me out of the door and abandoned me at a closed business? I am seriously considering suing Enterprise for fraudulent marketing and advertisement as well as abandonment. I should not have been forced to accept a ride from a stranger when it was Enterprise's legal responsibility to take me home. I truly appreciate the kindness of the stranger who cared more about my welfare than Enterprise did. There's a young lady who works the desk as your walking in the lobby by the name of Shannyn. Very aggressive young white lady who treat's customers bad as if they owe her something. She should not be in customer service. She's bringing her problems to work being very passive aggressive. The other lady who is oriental was very nice and polite. Only go to her! Beyond satisfied with the service. Worked with Emily for about three weeks worth of rentals and she took care of me. I was probably annoying making multiple requests, week after week, but they worked out a plan that was affordable and got me in a vehicle that fit my needs. If anyone's needs a rental from the area, definitely come see Emily. read more

Awful customer service over the phone called to make a resevation for large pick up truck or large SUVs she didn't give me any information and wanted me to go there and then I will find out if they have the car I want or not and very rudely hung up on me. Service was good enough. But the car was filthy and smelled of cigarette smoke. Zack said it was just the smell of the car but I think not! Cigarette ash burns on the seats, salt stains on the carpeting. The car definitely was not prepped or cleaned before I picked it up. The service was fine, but the car was awful. They didn't clean it at all in between the rentals, as evidenced by the two pairs of dirty underwear and the disgusting stains on the backseat. I'd rather walk than drive a biohazard. No apology from the company either. I won't be back unless I'm 100% desperate. read more

I've rented form here for the past few months and never had any issues. Yesterday, I received very poor customer service. I spoke with Anrhony Garland-Sheppard About my pick up time. Originally stated a certain time but immediately misspoke and told him I need to move it up a half an hour during our phone conversation. After waiting a half an hour, I called Enterprise. No one can verify that the driver was on his way because Anthony was out to lunch. 15 minutes later I get a phone call from Anthony stating the the driver was lost and couldn't figure out my address on GPS to pick me up The conversation was very argumentative with Anthony, Insisting that he was correct on the pick up time. (He obviously wasn't listening in the conversation earlier). However, the argument ensued about the pickup time and Anthony threatened to leave me stranded at my home , rather than focus on the driver arriving at my place. He insisted that the driver tried to call me several times, but there were no missed calls on my phone. Finally, he called and showed up But I had to direct him back to enterprise to get my vehicle. (He tried to blame his tardiness on the GPS. I never had an issue with the driver finding my residence in the months prior).I arrived and Joe helped me out, nicely. I escalated the matter with area manager Roxanne, who apologized , but that she knew his character very well, but would have a discussion about his"learning" opportunities. It's not much of a consolation to a customer to hear how great of an employee he is when I was treated so very poorly- a distasteful statement on her part at best. How it that employees have the liberty to threaten customers by Disconnecting the call leave them stranded? I just wanted to get my vehicle and get to my business destination. The bigger issue I have is Anthony's Antagonism towards women: Threatening to leave me stranded,even , Taking authority into his own hands and not refusing to pick me up at all. If This is Enterprise's policy and role model in training , you're in big trouble. read more

Worst experience, I took the car Thursday evening 5:30 pm and I drop off the car Friday 6 pm, they charged for 2 days, before I took the vehicle I told them I will return by next day 6 pm, they said ok to charge for 1 day. But again charged for 2 days , usually when ever I take car rentals in enterprise they will allow to drop off extra 1 hour. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the service we received from Thad Anderson, the assistant branch manager. There was a problem with our reservation not appearing, but that didn't stop Thad. He made sure we had the vehicle we needed anyways. He even stayed past closing to make sure we were taken care of. We rented a minivan. We did a walk around and I noticed many little scratches. The manager said not to worry about them that they are just wear and tear. After renting the minivan for one day and driving it without any incident we returned it to another location. It was a one way rental. We were told it has damage 10 days later. I am so bothered that they are trying to say we caused damage to this vehicle. It is wrong to take advantage of us and hurry us along. I will never rent from this company again if the claim is not dropped. read more
