Daughter opted to rent a car rather than miss work when her car needed a one day repair locally. Ended up costing her $160.00 for a 24 hr period which included insurance $30/day (up 30% recently, was $19.95) and $30 in gas. If you don't prepay gas, they charge $7.00/gallon. This is outrageous for a standard Nissan sedan for 1 day - no overages in time. With charges like this, no wonder so many people just call off work. Unfortunate! read more

Avoid this location if you can. I had a reservation, but when I arrived there was no car. What was apparent after two days of trying to get a car is that this is an understaffed office that has been directed to rent cars on a first come first served basis - regardless of reservation. If that isn't bad enough, there doesn't seem to ever be enough vehicles available. A shuttle to pick up vehicles from other locations is constantly in operation to get vehicles back to the location. Again, avoid this location at all costs! read more

Making a reservation through their online system doesn't guarantee you'll actually get the car. We reserved a vehicle 6 weeks ago and received several confirmation emails. However, when I called this morning to confirm our pick-up for Friday, I was told they had left us a voicemail weeks ago asking if we could change the vehicle type. We didn't call back because we weren't able to change the type. The customer service agent informed me that our reservation was canceled because we didn't respond to that voicemail, even though we received a confirmation email just three days ago. It seems like the issue here is trusting their online system. If you're going to cancel a reservation, it would be helpful to clearly communicate this through voicemail or email. I was dropped off an hour earlier and expected to wait for my car. Staff processed my electronic paperwork and I was off in my rental car in 20 minutes. Great upgraded full sized car too. Very gas efficient. When I returned the car, staff was friendly and quick to check it out. Great car for a couple of days and great experience. Btw, I took pictures of the car before and after.. just in case an issue came up. No problems though. I have rented from this location before and they are 4/4 great. read more

I had to take my car into the shop last minute, and needed a rental car for the next day. I made a reservation online for this location and fortunately, they had dozens of cars to choose from. The next morning, as I type, they called me and said the car I booked was unavailable. I said, "that's ok, I'll take any other car you have". They replied that actually zero were available and that the website is sometimes inaccurate. The customer service rep was nice and apologetic but I actually needed a car this morning for work and now I am in a serious pickle. If you need reliability, I'd go somewhere else. read more

I have a wedding this weekend that has tons and tons of driving. So I decided that renting a car would be a good idea. $35 for three days - and put the couple hundred miles on their car not mine, cool. Fast forward to the Enterprise in Northville. The guy picks me up - I get there do all the paperwork - come outside and the car is beat up, dirty, and the gas tank is on E. literally on the "E". The guy tells me to just bring it back with the same amount of gas. Are you kidding me? He keeps saying "I understand your frustration...." listen little dude - there should be NO frustration at this point. I haven't even left the lot yet. Needless to say - I did not rent the car. Even better. - when I asked him to wash it and put gas in it he told me it couldn't be done until their driver guy got back. But as soon as I said I wouldn't be taking it - he got in the car and drove away. It just came back washed and gassed up. I already have my own ride coming to get me (since their guy is still gone). I rented a car from this place through my insurance after an accident, initially everything was fine,however, after dropping off on a Saturday as that was the last day covered, I was charged an additional 2 days at full rate that I did not find out about until after the account had been closed. Apparently they charge you daily rate during closed days which was never explained to me from the 3 employees that made contact with me during this process. I called to inquire about this as I also never was sent a receipt, and was met with an individual who was helpful at first, but when I said this is something you guys should probably let future customers know as it's kind of a pricey occurrence if not planned for. His response was to interrupt me while I was speaking and lecture me about where store hours are posted and that I should have read my rental agreement. I tried to continue what I was saying and he proceeded to interrupt me again at which point I asked to just speak with the manager. I sat on hold for a few minutes and was hung up on. Yes one should read the rental agreement, however, that is the last thing on your mind when you get in an accident. Just a little understanding would have gone a long way here, especially when as a customer, I was only trying to give some helpful feedback. read more

Rented on Saturday morning and returned on Monday morning at same time . The agent charged me for 10 days rental fee. When I asked her why was 10 days rental, she reply it counted 10 calendar days. I asked if I rented from Saturday Am and return on Sunday Am,would it be counted as two calendar days? She said yes because I got discount rate for car being in the shop for repair. I said I never heard of this way to count the rental days and wanted to speak to manager. She inpatient said she would take extra day off for doing me a favor. Be careful to rent from this place and watch how they charge you. read more

I decided to rent a car from this location because my car had to be in the shop overnight for repairs. I was asked to phone the office before dropping my car off at the shop to let them know when I would be ready to be picked up by their shuttle, and I did as they requested. I dropped the car off at 4pm and I waited till nearly 6pm for my ride back to the office to pick up the rental. I talked to "Cory" twice during this time period and he said they were short handed and had to concentrate on picking up "corporate' clients first. What was so infuriating was he attempted to suggest if I had notified him more than once of when I would arrive at the shop this would not have happened. Even more maddening was that I was only a five minute drive away from their office! They left me to wait for two hours (half of that time spent outside in the cold because the shop closed) because I was not one of the preferred "corporate" clients. "Cory" did shave a few measy dollars off the price of the rental as a lame attempt to make the issue go away, but it does not make it go away. The people at this location are miserable failures at customer service. Stay away. read more
