I ended up having 5 suitcases instead of 3 so I changed it to a minivan from a standard elite reservation! he did not even apologize for his tardiness and had no solution for us. seems like this store is run by a couple of inexperienced teenagers. And oh, BTw, they said they tried to leave a message at a number in their system . That number has not existed in 15 yrs. Had to rent a car due to my company vehicle being worked on at the body shop. The rental was for a large suv. I arrived at the branch and of course they only have a mid size, however was promised that they will be getting cars in later that day and will call to swap out. No phone call - I called 3 days after to inquire and of course no one knows what I'm talking about. I speak to a manger and he gives me some run around that there are none available. I will definitely never rent from this branch for business or personal. Horrible customer service. read more

The location on 107th and Metcalf was awful and left an extremely bad taste in my mouth, but Zachary rescued it here at the 148th and Metcalf location. He was able to transfer my reservation, honor the amount, and rent me a car. If you're renting from Enterprise, rent from this location instead of going to 107th and Metcalf. read more

The vehicle collection and options are not very large but it is understood because it is a small location. The location is convenient for the South JC resident. However, the current (2023) personnel and management need major training in customer service. The car I rented was not clean and its tank was half empty. I reported it to the person renting the car to me. He said he will record it on the agreement that the tank was half empty. I returned the car with a half-full tank. I was still charged for the gas. When I inquired, the manager stated that the gas charge will be refunded. Instead of refunding, my credit card was charged an additional amount with no explanation. My follow-up emails were not responded to. I disputed the amount with my credit card. read more

This has been the worst Enterprise (rental car process in general) I have ever experienced. They jack you around with every step. Unnecessary waiting. No one seems to know what they are doing and clearly not being trained well. After this rental I will never do business here again and absolutely will not recommend. Worse customer service. I have a reservation from AAA accident. Stated at 9am. Received an email July 6. And a call from them on Friday to my daughters number which she thought it was spam. I called Tuesday morning to olathe to get one, they stated it would be Friday before I could get a car. I called what was on my reservation email to call shawnee mission parkway. I gave the manager of 10000 shawnee mission my reservation number. I told him I would need to be picked up and do they have the option for someone to get me, he said yes, I gave him my address. He said it was to far. I told him I could use an Uber to get me there, he asked what body shop and I told him Reed Collision, he said thst 7800 metcalf would have to cover my reservation. I called 7800 metcalf and they only have her full size. I called back to shawnee mission parkway on hold for 20 mins. I told him metcalf didn't have a compact car. He stated I have to rent from metcalf store. I called other enterprise in olathe. Still was Friday. I called back to shawnee mission parkway and was on hold for 20 min, finally got through, asked for manager and was put on hold for more than 10 min had to hang up since I got a call, so I called back and on hold 10 mins and asked for manager, he put me on hold for 10 min or more, had to take a call from my boss. I called back and asked for manager after hold for 10 or more minutes and he stated the manager is right here I will get him, waited on hold for 10 min or more, called back and asked for manager and then he was in a meeting, so a called back and got a lady and she said couldn't get a care now until next week after multiple guys stated that it was next day (Wednesday) at 10am. I call enterprise corp. And went over the issues. Enterprise were to have some one call me that night or in the morning and he went to transfer me and he had his dog started barking, after transferring me I had to explain the situation again. Called back Wednesday morning to the olathe store and was told there was a can't rent on the account now, I called Corporate and they can't see a can't rent on the account, they gave me two other enterprises to rent to and called the one in Lenexa on and they didn't have any until Friday. I called the Stanley enterprise on Thursday 11:26am and we was able to get me set up to pick up Friday at 2pm. My daughter texted me at 10pm that enterprise called and she answered and they stated can't rent to me. Which I have to wait until 7:30am for them to tell me that can't rent to me also. We will find out. Noting on Tuesday was 2 1/2 hrs and Tuesday night with corp was another 1 hr, Wednesday as also another 30 mins and then corp for 30 mins, Thursday getting all set up was another 10 mins conversation from Stanley location from Sai. Total so far Tuesday to thursday 3 1/2 to 4 hrs to get a rental car and still don't have one. Noting that the car that was in the shop was my daughters. She can't drive my police car. She has to miss work and appointments since no car to rent. What does a reservation really mean at Enterprise? Does it mean they will have a car of your choice to be ready on a date and time on the reservation and confirmation. AAA scheduled the rental and cover the cost since their client hit my car. The manager at the store is keeping people from renting cars for enterprise to make money. He doesn't value his job or position. I can't remember his name. read more

When I wasn't able to get a weekend rate through the online portal, the local staff was able to help me get a better rate when I mentioned the challenge. We booked a reservation for a large suv and we tried o get one a day sooner and we looked for a few hours. When we got to this location we were told that sadly they didn't have the car we were looking for BUT that they were getting a car that was similar from another location for us. The gentlemen at the counter were polite and really helpful when we were asking about the differences between all the cars. When they couldn't provide what we were looking for they made sure to find some sort of solution. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to rent a car. read more

Last month I was in a real bind and with only a few days notice, I needed a large passenger van to haul my teenage daughter and five of her friends for my daughter's birthday party. I stopped into the Enterprise office on 14873 Metcalf Avenue stressed to the max because I was not only needing a van, but was also on a limited budget being a single mom without financial support. I spoke with Greg Griesbach and Austin Haywood, and how very blessed I was because these two young gentlemen were just that... gentlemen. They were so polite, kind, empathetic and were patient and sympathetic listeners. They calmed my nerves and asked about the birthday party and truly cared about my situation. They came up with a fantastic solution to my dilemma and it fit within my budget. I highly recommend this Enterprise location and I will most definitely call on Greg and Austin again! This is the worst enterprise I have ever rented from with a horrible management staff. I returned one of my rentals cars and my friend had left her phone in it, no big deal, well the next day when we went to pick her phone it was disabled to the point it needed to be plugged back into iTunes to even work again. Verizon informed us this had meant someone had tried to break into it to the point it locked the phone completely until taken into an apple store. When we called the enterprise we spoke to Jackson Jones who said that the managers son was playing on the phone, when we asked to speak to the manager he said he was the manager then hung up on us. We went into the store and spoke to the branch manager named LeeAnn she said that they were trying to break into it to figure out who's phone it was after already contacting us about who's phone it was. It was obvious that they were all lying and they refused to even look at the camera footage to give us a better explanation. I would not recommend going here unless you want children and perverts messing with your belongings. read more

This has to be the worst of the worst companies to go through. Our car was in an accident over the weekend and our insurance uses enterprise to give us a rental while our car is down, well if you don't have a credit card you're treated like a second class customer. Three locations tell us they don't accept check and we finally got a hold of this one who said that they do, well we get there and they rudely tell us our utility bill does t qualify so they can't rent us out a car. Not only do they misinform customers they wasted our time driving 20 miles because they were the only location with a car available. Enterprise is the worst of the worst. I would rather rent a UHaul then deal with their terrible customer service. read more

I had a great experience over the holidays this year with this location. They were very flexible with my needs to move my reservation up a couple of hours. When I arrived, they were very friendly and made the paperwork quick and easy. They offered me three vehicles to choose from and took the time to make sure it was in great condition and clean. Aleisha was very efficient and got me in and out very quick! I opted for the prepaid fuel and saved money and time (just be sure to return close to empty) so I highly recommend that. Upon return I was offered a ride back home even though it was only 4 minutes before closing time. Thanks for making my experience a great one!! Will def continue using this location. read more

I had to postpone a work trip one week because they didn't have any cars available for me the first time. Even though I had made a reservation a week in advance they notified me 45 minutes before my scheduled pickup time. If they would have told me why they didn't have any cars the first time they called I might have given them another star or two, however it wasn't until the 2nd time I called that they actually told me the reason they didn't have a car was due to DMV issues and not because cars weren't being returned (as they told me the first time they called). I'll continue to use this rental car agency for work related rentals because they are the closest, however if my schedule wasn't as flexible they would have really put me in a bind. read more

We had a fantastic experience with our rental car. We rented a car over Spring Break and we arrived an hour early to pick up our car due to schedule conflicts. They were so accommodating with the change and got us on the road quickly. It was cold that day so they made sure that our windows were scraped and the heat was on before we left. When we turned in our car we had the same experience. We pulled up he looked over the car thoroughly and had us on our way within minutes. He was friendly asked how our trip was and how we liked the car. We will continue to rent from Enterprise. read more

If we could give zero stars we would. Never have we witnessed such disgusting customer service behavior as my mom and I were subjected to by the management, and support staff, at this location. My mother is disabled and elderly so I assisted in the set up of a car rental for her. (She has me do all of these things for her to help protect her from being overcharged or taken advantage of.) I had explained to Enterprise that she was on a fixed income and they assured me that she would not spend more than $4 per day after her insurance coverage for her rental. There was no mention of any other possible fees even when I had asked. When she went to pick up the car, Chad scared her so badly that she ended up signing for insurance that she did not want. She had told Chad "no" but he continued to tell her what a huge mistake she was making if she did not get it. He kept her in the rental car, alone, until she signed for the extra coverage with his portable credit card machine. She said he scared her to the point that she was afraid to drive out of the parking lot without it. This ended up costing her an additional 10.99 per day. When we went to return the car they had her billed for charges of 182.00 for nine days after full insurance coverage. They refused to give us an itemization so that we could review the fees and understand why it was more than we had been told. We had been told there was a $4 difference per day that she would be responsible for after insurance. Chad had not provided her with any paperwork when he charged her credit card while they sat alone in the rental car the day he had rented her the vehicle. She had been given absolutely no paperwork to refer back to. Two days later, my mom realized that Enterprise had also charged her bank card another 162.00. We went back to Enterprise and they refused to give us a receipt explaining what the 162.00 was paid for. They could not explain why this charge was on her account and they could not fully explain, or give us an itemized receipt, for the 182.00 amount she had already been charged. Their reason was the computer does not allow for them to see this or to print these pages. What kind of business can't provide these basic forms of paperwork to their customers? The manager Matt Wohlgemuth, and his front desk staff, were extremely rude, dismissive, condescending and blamed my mother for any problems that she had experienced. Even when my mother told them I was speaking for her, they continued to try and bully her. Matt, and the front desk girl, went as far as to say that they did not believe my mother because she had signed for the insurance so she must have really wanted it. She was nearly in tears when I made her leave so that she would not have to be put down by them any longer. It was by far the most disturbing customer service we could have imagined. We have filed complaints at both corporate and state level for the discrimination based on taking advantage of elderly persons. This makes our family so sad that our aging parent could have this type of treatment. She won't be doing anything like this without someone with her ever again. My family is still in shock that these type of people are out there and ready to treat people like my mom this poorly. read more

May 23 rental was fine except one tire pressure gauge showed it was low but attendant thought is was okay and light would go off after a few miles. It never went flat but my wife called Enterprise in Ohio and directed her to a tire repair shop and had it fixed. Other than that she was very pleased. read more

This isn't the first time I've rented from this location - as it is closest to my home. They tend to run 10ish mins later than the reservation is for, when they pick you up... not a big deal. The price and employee service is generally all-around good. The only reason I dropped the rating down from 4 stars to 3 is because they ALWAYS make me bring at least 2 proofs of address plus proof of insurance and I rent from them at LEAST 2X a year (usually 3-4). Even though I'm an "enterprise plus" member, they say they do not keep/store your information so I have to fill out all the paperwork and verify my address and insurance EVERY time. YET... last time I was standing at the counter waiting to return my rental, a lady who had simply walked in "off the street" without a reservation, asked for whatever they had available. They asked her for her credit card and license and got her into a car almost instantly using the info from her license and credit card - no PROOF of address nor insurance! You may be wondering if the info on my license is old/outdated and now inaccurate - the answer is "NO!" ALL the info on my license is current, I just renewed my license several months ago and its good till 2021. I've lived at this same address for over 6 years now, and have had the same State Farm ins this whole time! read more
