Picked up a rental car this morning. It was full of trash, dog hair covered the seats and trunk, windows were caked with dried dog slobber, and also had a rotten squishy apple in the trunk. I thought cleaning the car was standard before passing on to next customer. I didn't even think to take photos because I was so grossed out by the time I got home, I immediately started cleaning. RENTER BEWARE!!! Don't book. Especially if you use your own insurance and not theirs, they will do everything to try and take your deductible. After the car was returned and closed, they retroactively recalled us to claim the world's smallest dent on the roof (smaller than a dime and not clearly visible). They stated this was not previously annotated and worth the insurances entire deductible. They tried to get out of pocket pay the same day equal to the deductible. After a hard no, an insurance claim was filed. Keep in mind this minuscule dent could have easily been overlooked at inspection, just as it was initially overlooked during the return inspection. They then claimed that perhaps a hail storm also loosened the car antenna which is the biggest bs I have ever heard. At this point they started to look for other tiny dents everywhere to support this outrageous claim. It was a pathetic attempt to save face. The insurance company covered it, but this is how they make money! By scamming you out of your deductible. EFFF THIS PLACE! read more

The branch says to call corporate and corporate tells me to call the branch. 17 phone calls over 5 weeks and still no resolution. Ashley took her time to help me familiarize myself about syncing my phone to the car's system, and when she spotted some smudge on the windshield, she immediately got the cleaning materials to clean it off for us. Have rented 3-4 times in the past year from this location. I have never had an issue, if anything they help me out more than other car rental establishments. Super easy to make a reservation (I do mine online) They allow you to park your vehicle there if need be (we have gas guzzlers so on long trips we rent a more fuel efficient vehicle) I was there the other day and a couple came in who was just in an accident up the road and needed a rental. The Enterprise team was able to juggle some things around to get them access to a car even though they were short on vehicles. The staff is always willing to swap cars out for me. I am partial to certain brands/makes since I travel a lot for work. They do their best to accommodate and they are usually able to give me something I want. They sell out fast, I have never come across a busier location in all my travels. The parking lot is a circus! I am sure they didn't know it was going to be so busy all the time. I have never had an issue here and will continue to go until I do. Fingers crossed it's always a smooth rental for me. read more

We called the 135th location but were unknowingly patched to the Sante Fe location. The person on the phone told us there were three different cars available and that we could be picked up at a certain time. They gathered our information and put us on hold. Then we were patched back to another location unknowingly again. This location said we were not entered into the system and that there were no vehicles available for another 2 to 3 days. Very confusing and frustrating. read more

I thought Enterprise was better than this, but I reserved a van for spring break and they left us empty handed. First they told me the reservation was moved back from 10am to noon. Then later said they didn't know when a car would come in. Never mentioned the fact that they closed at noon and that after that we were s@$t out of luck. Found this out when I called back at 12:30 to talk to someone. Worst experience ever!!!! Luckily I had a car large enough for our trip otherwise we would have been stranded. Made a reservation online as Enterprise appeared to be cheaper than the other companies we were looking at. Went in the next day to pick up the car and were told that we needed a credit card to rent since we're out of state. This is undertandable except we were told that it's a common occurrence for people to come in upset because of this and that this is noted in the fine print. Also fine but what I don't understand is if something is so clearly broken, why you wouldn't try to improve it? When I entered my out of state license info online, a pop-up should've notified me of this rule. We made it back with a family member who agreed to book with their cc (our credit card was stolen on our way out here) and after checking us in, we were given a grand total twice what we were quoted online. We questioned this and the young man proceeded to very poorly explain the extra charges which included some damage waiver bullshit. We wanted to forego this option but he would not let up. So, we took our business down the street to Hertz. Took a look at the terms online later on and the damage waiver is indeed optional. We are not recommending Enterprise to anyone as this was an extremely poor experience. read more

The location was very busy and, after standing in line, I found out that the liable party's insurance company had not yet given clearance for the rental car. Ashley sensed my nervous demeanor and was quick to make sure coverage was approved and got me into a wonderful, clean car with no hassles. This location has the worst regional manager ever Adam . Yes he has been with the company 6 plus year give or take. He is very rude he is also a liar. He has not compassion at all for his customers at all what so ever. His fellow employees messed up in our account by putting our bank debit card in as a credit card and our account gets overdrawn $1,176.14 on a mistake they made. Then get bothered with me because I call my bank and tell them that I didn't authorize this transaction. He very upset because I did this. I call to make my weekly payment. I was told I can't do anything till the problem with the $1,176.14 get figure out so. I called to see if I could finally make my payment. No one every called me back to tell if the problem was resolved. I able to final make my payment. I want to be honest here also on my be half. I was late on my current payment that is do. I had to wait till I received my first check from my new job. They called my husband today and told him I needed to call Adam. So I called I was told Adam has stepped out of the building. Then the gentlemen said is there something he can help me with. I said yes I was retuning a call from Adam he is probably calling about my payment. He said yes he explained to me what I owed. I said I will be able to put the money in the bank tomorrow he told me that would be fine. Adam calls my husband and tells him he needs to bring the car in for them to check the miles causes we had it for a month now. So my husband did so I'm on the phone with him the whole time. This at 5:20pm let me remind you bank are closed. One of the employees say they need to check the gas/ miles on the car/ make sure there is no damages. I tell my husband that something does sound right they have never check the gas on the car when come in to closes out the contact and write another one. So he asked the gentleman my husband was told that Adam said to do that. So Adam comes out and tells my husband that Enterprise need a payment before he can leave with the car. I called at 12:12pm and spoke to the guy about making the payment. It is now like 5:39pm at this point. So I asked Adam why I didn't get a call about the urgency of the payment needed to be made today. When I had enough time to get to the bank put the money in the account and make the payment. He had nothing to say. So for the first time that we owed enterprise 1.176.14 came up at all in the conversation. Adam said since I told my bank that I didn't authorize enterprise to charge me 1,176.14. Enterprise needs that amount to. So I asked him why he lied to my husband about needing to bring the car in to check miles etc. Adam statement to me was how likely was it that we would have brought the car in tomorrow to get the miles and make a payment. I said that told the other gentleman that I would make the payment tomorrow that was okay earlier today. Why is it a problem now. So he tells my husband he has paper work stating that I was given a credit by the bank of 1,176.14. I state to him I never received that money. So I got the bank on the phone to try to explain that to him that. If before the messed up and tried to take 1,1176.14 from me my account was at a 0 balance. They tried to take 1,176.14 from my bank account so it became -1,176.14. I call the bank tell them I didn't authorize them to take this amount of money. Causes his employee put my bank debit card in as a credit card. The bank issues a temporary credit. Which bring the account back to a zero balance. As we are in the phone with Bank of America I'm explaining to the agent how the error is on enterprise end for putting the card in wrong. Adam interrupts me and says that doesn't matter. I said yes it does she can understand why I'm in this situation now. Plus so she can help me explain to you that I don't have the money to pay enterprise 1,176.14. I asked Adam how would I pay them this money. I was told by Adam he doesn't know it not his problem. Question do you think that if I had 1,176.14 I would be renting a car from enterprise for 5 months I would have put a down payment on a car and had a month payment. So yes the took the rent a car back and my husband had to take everything out of the car. Yes the paid for him a Uber home. Now we have no car to get to and from work. All because no communication on enterprise part. Plus the regional manager Adam lied to my husband and the gentleman lied to me by saying I would be okay to pay tomorrow. Worst experience of my life. Very unprofessional, deceitful and rude. Not once did he take responsibility for his agent messing up yes it was back in September I would be where I am today if it wasn't for enterprise's mistake. read more

I called 20 minutes in advance for a pick up. Waited for 45 minutes totaling in an hour and 15 minutes before I just ordered an Uber. Very inconvenient but they did not charge me for the gas upon returning the car to make up for the issue. Overall not the best experience but they did try to make it right. read more

For my travel blog I exclusively rent from Enterprise, however after my experience at this location I would never recommend them. I paid for a full sized vehicle, yet was given a much cheaper standard vehicle. They also told me I only got 2500 miles when the reservation said unlimited. After calling corporate to complain I learned that their policy is to only charge deposits on debit cards yet when I used my credit card they demanded a deposit (of which I've never had to do at any of their locations and according to corporate isn't policy to do when using a credit card). My total rental price including the deposit and the charge for unlimited miles doubled the cost of the rental. The customer service at this location is absolutely appalling, between the sales associate and what I can only assume was a manager giving me different prices and telling me contradictory infornation I felt like I was totally being taken advantage of. When I finish this trip I plan to review my last rental because I believe that rental was also a much lower class than what I paid for. The lack of professionalism was abundantly made clear during this visit. Since they oversold their vehicles for March Madness (even though my reservation was done weeks in advance) they called me no less than 12 times in 24 hours to try to talk me out of renting or into a vehicle that was double the cost of what I was looking for. Having been forced to delay my trip by a few hours due to their incompetence, I didn't have time to argue or look for another rental company. Now I have to go out of my way to exchange the car at another location to get the vehicle I paid for. If your going to use Enterprise pick another location, lest you want to get charged for one class of vehicle and given a much cheaper class instead, get charged double what the reservation says or even worse, get my experience and have both happen. Also the vehicles at other locations are much more feature filled and don't feel like some 16 year olds car. I definitely do NOT recommend this location and highly suggest you check elsewhere for your rental. read more

I've been to this location on two prior occasions and they were quick and friendly but I had prepaid and provided all my information online so maybe that's why they appeared a little slow today but that is not the reason for my low rating. I was picked up from a dealership. They are fixing my vehicle on account of a few recalls. The Enterprise representative who was training another clearly had no idea what insurance rights, legal responsibilities and vehicle registration meant. He was trying to use intimidation (I'm not intimidated because I know my rights) as a route to sell their insurance on the rental. I politely declined twice but he kept at it so I advised if anything happens its on the dealership on account of their safety recalls issues. read more

By far the worst location I've ever been to. The branch manager, zach, had mistakenly thought I had a balance I still owed from my last rental(which would have been January 2014) of $174 and change. Not only did he acknowledge the Mistake he was incapable of refunding the card that I used to pay for some delinquency... he had to call the accounting department to try and push the refund through their system, which was unsuccessful. He informed me that a check was issued to my address(which I moved from that apartment in 2014) instead of the current home i own... which is on my drivers license that they need and enter into their database as to the renters info for any reason they may need it... thankfully I asked what he had on file when I called to ask how long before I'd receive the refund and also bc knowing I moved from that apartment when the accident happened until now... I had a feeling it'd be wrong since his sloppy first big error initially was wrong, he had it sent to that address. So i gave my address that they have as far as where ppl live that rent vehicles(no clue they used two different databases for things) no word and no refund has been given. July 17th was the day the whole dog and pony show started and to make everything more irritating, the manager, by far, is the most unprofessional and unfit to run the busiest branch in the county. I can't say or think of another person I've had to come in contact With in a retail establishment that was more unprofessional, rude, intolerant, unfit and clearly lacking knowledge of the business than zach. If you must or can only go to that location ASK FOR ANYONE BUT zach. And be mindful about your money they try to charge. Get w complete run down... I had to call for my deposit back too... that was two weeks after the car was returned. But bc a check was issued for someone else's delinquencies, that card cannot be refunded due to having a check pending in my name and would be refunded twice. It's a joke. read more

This location has terrible management. We received a quote and confirmation that we produced but they were adamant about charging us $350 more for the rental. The manager said he would "do us a favor and split the cost, but that he can't just take off $350". 45 minutes later, after WE had to make multiple calls to Costco travel and Enterprise corporate office, this guy goes and get his boss who had been there the whole time, who said "oh! You have a confirmation with the lower price? That's all we needed to see." The car was fine but the experience was terrible. Three weeks ago we had to put our dog down, and we had to go pick up our three college children, so we went to get a vehicle, we went in, and they were friendly and quick. This morning, we went in to get a bigger car since we have to move out our children out of their dorms, and they said we could not use our debit card, even though it was the same card that we used three weeks ago. Double and triple check for damages before you rent a car from any Enterprise. They will find previous damages not notated and will want you to pay for them. The first time it was two phantom dents on the roof of the car and they charged $600 as hail damage. The 2nd time was today when I returned the car and they found a small dent. The agent who gave me the car two months ago told me it was smaller than a dollar bill and was already notated. Yet today they will be filing a claim against it. They probably will not fix it and charge the next customer too. Looks like a great scam and extra money making for Enterprise. I'll be reporting this to my company. read more

I was picked up from my dealership 20 minutes after they said they would arrive (Dealership was on the same street as enterprise). Although I was waited on right away when I arrived, the car I received (considered an upgrade) was dirty on the outside, had no floor mats, the floors were filthy, and every seat looked as though someone had an "accident" on it. Poor car maintenance for sure. The car also has 50,000 miles on it. Not ideal. Based on the other reviews I am guessing their "good" cars were out of stock. read more

I didn't hear that and all I heard over and over at the beginning was "don't worry about filling up the tank before you return the car" My bad it as a Monday, cold morning. I was surprised and expressed that to the guy helping me at the end, who was nice, but the convo was interrupted by the male manager. He not only interrupted, he was rude and had a tone. He even spoke loudly at me while he was helping another customer. I didn't like that and I wasn't there looking for a fight simply expressing the misunderstanding. First off, I have had nothing, but good experiences with enterprise in general. I have been renting cars for business and personal reasons for over 11 years. I work for a large employer in the OP, KS area. Avis & Enterprise happen to be preferred vendors for car rentals. However, I rented a car from the Olathe, KS location for the first time and had a poor experience so far (Not typical of Enterprise). I rented a Chevy Impala (Silver) at this location over Thanks Giving for a week. 1. The car was dirty from inside and outside. The agent told me she will have this cleaned. She brought the car out wet and handed me the keys....its clean now ! Really ? Best part is she completely forgot cleaning the inside. I was like ok, its busy time not a big deal. I cleaned it myself. 2. Few hours later I get a call from an agent that the previous renter left an ipad in the car if you find it please return it. Of course few minutes later I call the agent back and inform him that the ipad is in the car and it was returned back when I dropped the car back. 3. Unfortunately, my son left his toy car (remote operated) in the trunk of the car. I have called them 5 times so far to see if they found his car (Gifted by his Aunt) and even left a message for manager to call me back, but I doubt that's ever going to happen. Its not about the car, but the fact that I cannot get a response out of any of the agents. They are more eager to get me off the phone than looking into "Lost & Found" or actually check the trunk to see if the car was in there. I am very disappointed with this location. I guess I should have read the reviews before renting from this location. Avis in Olathe or Enterprise in OP are much better locations and easier to deal with. Certainly the Enterprise leadership would not be very happy about this place if they ever see all the reviews on this location. Try and avoid this location if you can is all I can say ! read more

Agents were very attentive and courteous and pickup service was excellent, but since they were low on intermediate size cars, I had to wait quite awhile for my car to be cleaned. It was still wet and not very clean on outside with lots of water spots on the windows and mirrors, and it was given to me with only 1/8 tank of gas so I immediately had to stop for gas. I thought rental companies usually handed cars over with full tanks and ask for them to be returned full. I think they gave me the car I was picked up in and that's why it took so long to clean and had little gas in it. Brandon was very nice and marked on my sheet to return empty so I wouldn't have to guestimate 1/8 tank. read more
