Quite possibly the worst customer experience I have ever had at any kind of business. They (including the manager) were lazy and apathetic after Enterprise Roadside Assistance sent me there to pick up a replacement vehicle. I was there for just under an hour and got absolutely nothing from them after Enterprise Roadside Assistance had sent me there to pick up a new car for the one that Enterprise originally provided me that had broken down. She always has a smile on her face and makes the process of renting a car very easy. When I returned the car I did not have a ride back home and Kesha arranged for a member of staff to give me a ride. This has to be one of the friendliest Enterprise branches I've ever experienced. I didn't rent my car here (out of town) but started having mechanical issues. Someone picked up right away and had me come straight in. They had the car checked out quickly, found the problem, and fixed it while I waited. All the while they kept me continuously updated. While I was waiting I watched them handle several clients and it was always with a friendly and helpful attitude. read more

I just recently had an accident where my truck was hit by the other driver. I am disabled, and would need a truck to be able to get in and out easy. Up my rental being approved there was no truck approved only a car. Enterprise at 15 Street Panama City Florida advised they would check on it based on my needs. They also said no trucks were present at the time, but they would work on it. Minutes later Enterprise had a Truck for me, and it was ready for pickup. This is where I met Carnell the driver, and was highly please with his professionalism, demeanor, and kindness. After arriving at Enterprise I got prompt treatment, and was able to go in only minutes. Days later I was advised by the body shop they were done with my vehicle, so I dropped the rental off. Again I was processed out promptly, and was given another pleasant ride across town by the Driver Carnell. I upon getting with the body shop found the work was not done, called enterprise, and they had to have the driver pick me back up. After getting back to the Enterprise location Branch Manager Ragan made it a priority to get my rental re approved. She had the drive Carnell take me to my house so I could get my phone, and so I didn't have to wait there based on my disabilities. In not much time at all Ragan had it re approved, saved the truck for me, picked me up again, and I was back on my way again. After my truck was repaired I was able to leave the rental at the body shop, and Enterprise retrieved it without issues. I can say Enterprise at least at this location went out of their way to take care of me, insured I was able to get the vehicle based on my disabilities, shuttled me around based on errors on other people's faults, and made something I had to do a pleasurable experience. This especially is needed when you are disabled, and dealing with issues of an accident. God bless this team, and Regan for her actions. read more

Had to pickup a rental following a car accident in which my car was totaled and must say that was really pleased with the folks at this location and with Enterprise in general. Although place was packed with people was processed in a timely manner and employees although busy treated me with a professional attitude and efficiently. As i did not know exactly when would have to return the car they worked with me the whole time and stayed in communication with me to advise what my insurance company was doing. We rented a car from Enterprise some time ago. We selected a sedan and added insurance. We were pleased with the service until on the interstate a ice chest fell off a truck bed and we were forced to hit it (swerving away from it would have caused a wreck with other vehicles). The car was still driving at this point but it was making a terrible sound. We drove to the nearest Enterprise to attempt to exchange the car. At first they were willing to exchange the vehicle but then they refused once they found out it had been damaged. None of the enterprises were willing to lose a car from their fleet for a day or so to repair the vehicle. We spent several hours (more than half a day) on the phone with customer service. We were sent to several locations that had a car available but refused to exchange it. We were concerned that driving the vehicle was unsafe. Eventually we told Enterprise that if they were unwilling to exchange the vehicle, we would need a refund, and just rent from a different company. They refused. Eventually we made it home, in a car that had been seriously damaged, that was making a loud noise, that we felt unsafe in. The location in PC did offer us a full refund and apologized on the behalf of the company. However we were still absolutely disgusted with the company. We will never again rent a vehicle from Enterprise and this mishap ruined our trip, was a major inconvenience, and cost us a ton of hours on the phone, and traveling to other enterprise locations to attempt to resolve the issue. I would strongly advise against using Enterprise for your car rental needs. I waited some time after this experience to write the review because I wanted to be more objective about the experience. Enterprise employees lied to us, mislead us, refused to solve a problem because they would be inconvenienced, and left us in a car that had been in an accident and was unsafe to drive. I am still disgusted with Enterprise and the token gesture of a refund was not enough to compensate us for lost time fighting with the company for them to resolve their problem (literally hours spent on the phone and traveling to different enterprise centers to try and get the car exchanged so we could continue our trip in a safe vehicle). I am still disgusted with the company and suggest that people rent from more reputable car rental centers. read more

Horrible experience so far and don't even have the car yet. I was supposed to be picked up at bay dodge a couple miles or so down the road from them. It's now an hour after the scheduled pick up and I'm still waiting. Every time I call someone picks up the phone and hangs up or transfers me to national call center who says all I can do is call back. I call the other location and was told they were picking up in Lynn Haven and couldn't help and hung up on me. read more

Rented a car to travel to Wisconsin (total 2700 miles) for 13 days. They gave me no problems but the rate I got in store was a little higher then I got online so they priced matched no problems. When we picked up are car it was not ready so they was willing to upgrade us from a compact to a small SUV but I declined the offer since I needed better MPG. We ended up taking a car that was a little dirty but acceptable and they hooked us up with a small discount. They had no problems when the car returned after the long trip and as they promised no extra charge. read more

Horrible place to even think of getting a rental car. I know it was the weekend after July Fourth, but really. Plan ahead. I made a reservation to pick up a car for a one-way rental. I know I got there early but they didn't have a car for me. They said it was getting tires and I could wait. So we started to do the paperwork. Nobody told me before that the rental required a major credit card. I rent from the Enterprise near my home all the time with my debit card. But these people wouldn't budge. I had driven over an hour to get to their location. I changed the reservation to later in the day and had had to bring my mother up with me. By this time I had spent about 4 1/2 hours driving back and forth in order to rent this car. We got there at 5:30 with the location closing at 6pm. They had NO cars. While we were waiting for something to be returned, several other people came in, with and without reservations. NO CARS. One guy said that he had been called that his car wasn't there yet. Why didn't I get the same call? We were finally offered a pickup truck instead of an Altima. When we tried to add me as an additional driver, we were told that all drivers needed to have a major credit card in their name. Nobody had ever mentioned this before. That requirement totally defeated the purpose of my mother coming up there a second time with me in order to rent the car. As stated before, I have only a debit card so we had to forgo me being an extra driver. Which was hard on my mother. We were given an extended cab, full-size Ford F-150. My mother is 74 years old, barely 5 feet tall, and has never driven anything that large before, let along 350 miles. The manager was a woman named Ragan. She made a snarky comment to my mother about being pulled over. Which was just icing on the cake for the service we received. read more

My first impression was the worst impression. We were picked up by a sweaty, smoky employee (probably a car detailer). He was not professional in appearance, greasy hair, lackadaisical attitude. I was surprised to be picked up by such an ill prepared transporter. The vehicle was not ready for rear seat passenger, and the driver had no conversation with my wife and I. Had to rent a car due to a death in the family while on vacation. I used their web site to rent an economy size car, when arrived at the Enterprise rent a car on 15th st in Panama City we were meet by a friendly sales man that got right on our order, he told us they would have to upgrade us TWO times due to them not having a car for us, we didn't mind we just needed a car. It was storming outside (8/2/18) so when they pulled the car around we did not inspect the car for damages, that was a BIG mistake. The car had less than 1/4 tank of gas so we stopped for gas and found a big scratch on the passenger side of the car took pictures and we continued on our way. When got to destination and turned the car back in at another Enterprise they said we would have to pay for the damages, we told them to call the 1st Enterprise, they did, that so called friendly sales man said he did inspect the car and there were no scratches on the vehicle. Well if he had inspected the car he would have been soaked from the heavy rain storm that was moving through..There was five other people with us that would say the same thing. It was Raining HARD.. Word to the wise, always inspect your car even during a MONSOON!!! I believe this could have been a set up!! We are disputing this with our Insurance co. read more

My family and I were on vacation in Panama City Beach when I was called from my business due to a significant emergency. I have been renting from Enterprise Rent-A-Car for more than 15 Years consistently from service rentals for/from my car dealerships (Mercedes/Jaguar,etc) from Enterprise Rent-A-Car and even leisure rentals. I have always been impressed with their level of service and integrity and how each employee took special care of their customers. However, something must have changed in the recent years as I have never been given such poor, subpar service and further, absolutely horrible supplemental service from an accusation that is incredibly and highly improbable, downright impossible if I may speak in absolutes. I am being asked to pay for damage to a car that there is absolutely no way I caused. I drove from Enterprise Rent-A-Car to my private dedicated parking space for minutes never left unattendeded, then to my residence and left the car there as I have multiple cars to then proceed back to my place of business. First off, if I may, let me start from the beginning to give you a clear understanding of how poorly such a great company (Enterprise Rent-A-Car) seems to have degraded/devolved. I called Enterprise Rent-A-Car from my RV Campsite in Panama City Beach, Florida. I needed to rent a vehicle to get to a significant emergency immediately at my business as previously stated. I called ahead and they said that they had plenty of vehicles available and I asked to make a reservation and they said that i would be fine and to just "come on over." So my son and I made our way to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car so that rest of my family could still have a vehicle besides the RV. Upon arriving, I walked through the door to find many people sitting and waiting, but I went to the counter and alerted the service rep that I was the person who had just called. Well, I had reserved a normal midsize car as I was only driving directly, non-stop, and they informed me that they would upgrade me to a full size car as a courtesy. I was appreciative of that gesture as I assumed they had seen my lengthy and loyal rental history in their system. Apparently not. As I proceeded to make my way out, I was hearing chatter of how they had run out of cars, and furthermore, how they were hustling to get other cars from nearby Enterprise Rent-A-Car locations. So as I walked outside, we walked up to a dirty, unclean Dodge Caravan, their full size vehicle. We asked if there were any other cars available, and they informed me that this was the only 1, yes ONE car, available. As the Enterprise Rent-A-Car agent walked us to the vehicle, he commented on how it was dirty and unwashed, apparently "NOT CHECKED IN PROPERLY" and in customer parking! I was there a few minutes past 9 AM, Panama City time. The Car was Very Dirty, and seemed to have not been inspected after being likely JUST returned. When the Enterprise agent opened the car, there were chips scattered over the seats, on the floor mats and some Frito looking corn chips sprinkled throughout the driver side car seat, dog hairs all throughout the vehicle, it was literally disgusting. I guess the chip and cookie stench covered the dog hair smell. We then asked again if there were any alternative vehicles to which he answered no. I pointed to several cars and he curtly replied, "NO." He asked if we would like to wait for it to be washed, but given the emergency situation, we reluctantly said we would just take the car as I needed to be in the road immediately. I looked around the lot and saw other vehicles that looked to be nicer, but apparently they were the employee's cars. Anyhow, the Enterprise Agent didn't even give us the courtesy of a walk a around. I do not even recall him even walking around the car entirely, and neither can the branch even say he did. He basically just signed a bunch of the parts of the form to which we were not even asked if we wanted their supplemental insurance. So without ever walking us around the car, without giving us the respectful disclosure of any details, without washing the dirty car, without cleaning the insides, without doing anything save for just "signed this, initial this, etc.", we were told to sign and take the car. Let me be clear, even though we were in an absolute emergency situation, we never, ever, at any time rushed the agent as we wanted to be polite given the situation knowing he had a line of customers without cars waiting. Needless to say, I have now spoke with the Regional Manager several times, and it is very clear that the #1 concern is their bottom line. I had given very clear and very apparent possibilities of a reasonable doubt. I had repeated over and over how the Enterprise agent had said the car had not been inspected, the only answer he Regional Manager said was that it had been checked in mileage and gas...apparently that is all they checked. Please rent somewhere else, why pay more for subpar service? read more

Do not rent a car to Enterprise 1104 W 15Th St Panama City, FL 32401 ever! I rented a car from Thursday 26 May at 4 pm to Saturday 28 May 2016, the time needed to fix my car, I was passing from Panama city in my way back to ew York. I returned the keys at the box some minutes after 12 - noon, without knowing that they close at noon. Nobody and not the curly hair person who rented me the car do not prevented me to return the car before noon. If nothing is noted one have to return the car in the same moment of the day The Enterprise representant a blond curly hair person didn't tell that I should return at 12- noon the car that I rented pm. In Addition the car was not clean and I had The representant of Enterprise a blond curly hair person - very rude - signet the contract with me and he doesn't find utile to tell that the service close at 12 noon on the Saturday. I called to find out why I was charged $ 271.42 instead of $137, 96 and I get the same curly hear person named Adrian who told that this is the amount for 7 days rent. I returned the car before the 4 days was close and I was not suppose to be charge with additional fees. While I was explaining to him he asked me to put me in hold, after 20 minutes the line was disconnect? and nobody call me back. I called the sane rude person- I asked the responsible - and have curiously the same person, telling : I am the responsible! And answered Adrian, for son name. Worse experience renting a car. I reserved over 3 weeks early and was given a mini van that we had rented for a trip. I was pressed for time and sat there for over an hour. When I finally got the van it was on empty, hadn't been cleaned and had an overhead storage compartment that had been tapped shut. Do Not Use this location! read more

As a loyal PLUS member of Enterprise, I was very disappointed to find out the day I arrived to pick up my rental, the requirements had changed without notice, they could not take my form of payment, the same I have been using for years with them. They needed utility bills that I did not have with me (who walks around with their utility bills) and even when I managed to pull up a utility bill on my phone they needed another and when I informed them that all my other utilities' were included in my lease (like 90% of others who live in apartments) they still didn't care It was a mess and the day before I had to leave town. I was able to find alternate transportation, (thanks, Budget). But Enterprise has definitely lost a loyal customer. read more

I recently rented a car from one of your 15th Street location in Panama City, FL. when I picked it up I was told that was the only vehicle available and it was brought over from another location to fulfill the reservation. I was also told it was an "upgrade" to my reservation. I'm not sure why that vehicle was rated by your standards as "exotic" or even an upgrade because it sucked donkey. I called 2 -3 days later because no matter how much I left the windows down the vehicle smelled so bad of cigarettes and it drove like it had some mechanical issues. I asked if I could exchange it for something else but was told there was nothing available and that someone would call me when something did become available. I had it for 10 days and never received a call back. That location has limited hours of operation and their service and coordinating reservations with inventory is poor and needs some serious attention. Wake-up people, raise the bar above the typical Bay county low standards. Geez read more
