I would give no stars if I could. Made an online confirmed reservation at this location. I received a call the night before reservation to be told they overbooked and my car would be ready a little later than expected. I called the day of reservation for an update and was told they don't have any cars and they'd keep me updated when there was a no-show. I never received any updates, never got a rental. Why is one customer less important than another? Why did I have to wait for a no-show for a reservation after my reservation? Why overbook at a vacation location? Why not just close booking? I tried to reserve a compact vehicle for my drive back to Ar. at their store. But had to do the reservation online because the system is down. I reserved a compact car. I arrive at the 557 Richard Jackson Blvd Ste B, Panama City Beach, Fl 32407 location. I asked for a compact vehicle. I was given an nice "upgrade" '22 Dodge Charger v8 but the radio didn't even work in it. I'll NEVER get that gas guzzlen car again. I spent 130$ in fuel on my way home. And NO, I did not floor it or attempt to race anyone! Sadly, I had to stop 5 times to full up that flippin car between Panama City Beach Fl to Little Rock, Arkansas!! I'll NEVER get that car again!! Rented a vehicle it broke down at a very busy intersection. Roadside assistance told us to call 911 we did after approximately 30 minutes a police came and helped us. we needed a vehicle that is reliable, they told us we have to drive over 30 minutes away to exchange vehicle. the traffics is bumper to bumper so will likely take half of our day driving in a vehicle that may break down again. My wife and I recently rented a vehicle from this location at 557 Richard Jackson Blvd, Panama City Beach. This is a small location. Staff was courteous, vehicle was clean. While I was completing the vehicle walk-around the staff employee noted the mileage and gas tank level from inside the vehicle. It began pouring rain. After finishing the paperwork and driving off with the vehicle I noticed that the gas tank was not prefilled, but was a "little over" one half tank. I just think this is a crappy thing to do to a customer. I understand that Enterprise does not guarantee a prefilled tank and that this is location has few employees. However, some rental car companies, including some Enterprise locations we have used, are notoriously picky about the returning gas level. And of course we all know that rental car companies charge the customer above market rates to add gas to the starting amount. Putting the onus on the customer to try to get the gas tank to the beginning level is just a game that car rental companies do. There is a gas station less than a block from this Enterprise location. If there happens to be only one employee working I don't see how hard it would be to close the building at the end of the day and go gas up any returned vehicles so they are ready for the next customer. Haven't picked up my car yet, so update will follow. Location is close to where I am located, so I made a reservation with them on Sunday. Website says to call them when they open to schedule your pickup. Website says they open at 8:00. M-F, so I called promptly at 8. I kept getting the message they were with customers. I continued to call back for 30-35 minutes and finally got an answer. Inquired about a pickup at my location, but was told they did not offer this service due to the Covid problem. I found a taxi service to shuttle me to this Enterprise location. As mentioned above, I will update my review after I pickup the vehicle. Follow up: Picked up my car today. Ease of pickup was quick. I waited inside the office for about 5 minutes while representatives were dealing with customers outside. At that point, I was on my way in about 10 minutes. All of my personal information was on file in Enterprise records which speeded up the process. I have updated my rating to a five. Very Helpful While on vacation in an Enterprise rental car, we got a low air pressure notice (picked up a nail), we went to the Enterprise car rental agent and she sent us up to "Express oil change" to have them check it out. They worked us in as next car ahead of the regulars, checked the tire and removed the nail & plugged the hole, within about 30 min. Said not to worry about it as they would bill enterprise since it was one of there cars. read more

I made a reservation via Expedia about a month previous to the rental date - I specifically wanted a convertible as my fiance had never driven one, and it was to be my Christmas gift to him of a day's rental. However, when we arrived at this location to pick the car up, the young lady (didn't get her name) firstly hardly acknowledged us when we entered, then as she was entering all of my details into the computer, she mentioned in passing that they didn't have a convertible available. If I'd known that the car I'd requested wasn't available, I wouldn't have allowed my personal and credit card information to be collected. She then said "well, it's a specialty vehicle, you should have called 24 hours before to make sure we have one" - I don't work for Enterprise, so I don't know the "special procedures" I have to go through to get what I booked. When I told them that I was unhappy (to say the least), another guy turned up (possibly the manager - didn't get his name either) and said "oh yeah, they've probably got one at the other location".... that was it. I was trying to stay calm, so I asked "what other location? Destin? Pensacola? Somewhere else?" - he told me (as if I should have known duh - again, I don't work for Enterprise, so I don't know where their locations are) the other location in Panama City. I then asked him (he didn't offer) to contact the PC location to see if they had one - he did, we got a hold on it and went there to get the car. My experience at the PC location (W 15th Street, Panama City) was, in contrast, excellent - the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and yes, we got our dream car rental for the day. However, our experience at the PCB branch was terrible - avoid, just drive over the bridge to the PC location. EDIT January 2017 - the manager of this location contacted me personally to offer his apologies, and to address my concerns. He promised to talk with his team and address the customer service issues. I've rented from Enterprise for over 10 years. I have a lot of experience with them. Their pick up service was on time and the driver was friendly and enjoyable. When we arrive Ashley was helping a customer so the driver took us in back to show us some locations to eat, etc. etc, we were waiting for the Manager to come back to assist at the front desk. I had an appointment and need to leave. When the manager came back there were a line of 4 people. I had to say I'm next so he would realize I had been waiting. I was taken to the absolute worst car I have ever rented in my life. Looked like "rent a wreck". Scratches and dings everywhere. This is not my complaint. I accepted the wreck. That night on the way to the hotel I could barely see out of the dirty windows. The glare from the headlights reflected off the messed up windows, front windshield and back windshield. I called to complain and Ashley (agent who did my paperwork) ask, didn't I see dirty windows when I check around the car? I was given the option of coming back to get the windows clean. I Don't Think So! It's a 2 day rental on vacation with my points and am not about to go back for them to clean anything. I will deal with it and Complain all the way to Corporate Office! read more

My son's car was totalled and this is the place Geico arranged for his rental. The staff failed to explain how the rentals work and then charged him extra for another car. He was suppose to only be charged a $50.00 deposit but had a $100.00 charge on his card. Come to find out this was the manager he was dealing with. When I called she back tracked and told me my son didn't hear her correctly. My son is a stickler for details, and she flat out took advantage of someone in a bad position. Poor business tactics to get a buck. She even lied to me about the rental price of another car. I called and confirmed it with an Enterprise a few miles away. read more

Confirmed reservation but no car. I reserved a car and confirmed the reservation, with Enterprise 557 Richard Jackson Blvd Panama City Beach, FL 32407 on 12/23/16. I called at 11 am to see if I could come by and pick up the car. I was told my reservation was at 5pm and could not come until then. I did however come by at 4 pm to learn after some conversation and questioning on my part that I was 5 th in line to get a car. I ask if they had cars had other locations,which they did not, or if they could help with other provider which they did not. The best they offered was to call me the next day or after the Christmas holiday if a car was available. I never received a call or apology for their not having a car or leaving me stranded without a car over the holiday. This leads me to believe this is common practice for enterprise, at this location. I intend to never spend a dime with Enterprise and to share this event with any interested traveler. Luckily I was able to find a car with Hertz whom provided the car and service a paying customer expects. read more
