This was by far the worst rental experience I've ever had. The first golf cart we were given had little to no brakes, which is an obvious safety issue. We returned it expecting the replacement to be better, but instead the second golf cart completely died and left us stranded on the side of the road during our vacation. What made the situation even worse was the lack of customer service. Instead of taking responsibility for renting us two unsafe/unreliable golf carts, we were met with a "no refunds" policy and couldn't even speak with the owner to resolve the issue. Equipment failures happen, but renting customers a golf cart without functioning brakes and then another that breaks down is unacceptable. Safety should come before policies. To start off, we were originally told $100 for a rental per day by the owner. We get there and we were charged $290 for a single rental. As we drive off the property the brakes are not functioning, the wheel rattles and shook the frame of the cart. We made it less than a mile down the road before we deemed it was unsafe to proceed. The owner, was extremely unhelpful and rude began yelling at us on the phone when we called and proceeded to call us liars. Owner drove down and proceeded to try and bribe us from involving the police by offering us a slingshot. As golf cart was not street legal permit was no where to be seen, windshield was cracked. No speedometer. Brakes were not functioning. Owner also claimed carts were regularly inspected by a mechanic which is a flat out lie. A friend we brought with us who is in fact a mechanic inspected the cart before police were involved and said vehicle was completely unsafe. He also gave us a cart with less than a quarter of a tank saying we would have to pay on top of what we already paid for. Owner was extremely shady. The building was also falling apart and borderline a health hazard. You would be better off walking than renting from this place. We had to involve the police in the end because the golf cart was so far from being remotely street legal. Please save your money and go anywhere else. Learn from our mistakes. This place is a joke. They have unsafe golf carts. We went in and rented two 6 seater golf carts. The first one they put us in did not have power, so we pulled in and they put us in a second one and we go to pull out and the gas pedal stuck on it, so the third one sounded like the muffler was off and we ended up taking that one. We rented it for the day...well we had it 2 hours and it ended up breaking down, we called them and the man came out and ended up putting us on another 6 seater to go back to there store. And the front end of this golf cart was so loose it felt like it was going to fall off. We just wanted some of our money back, it was over 550 dollars for the day and they refunded to reimburse us. My friends and I came to Panama for our senior trip and was interested in renting a golf cart, this was the first place we seen and we stopped, he was very pushy into signing the paper work so we did. He never mentioned no refunds (there was a sign but like I said he never mentioned it) Once we paid him $300 including a $100 deposit ( total of $400) he then let us look at the pieces of shit he calls golf carts. Nothing worked on them speakers, blinkers, trouble starting it, zip ties holding the roof tg, seats where cracked and UNSAFEE!! We immediately asked for a refund and all he had to offer was more of the broken down golf carts, we also asked to speak with a hire up and he went to the back and claim he talked to his manger and said there was nothing he could do and refused us to personal speak with the manger saying "he will be pissed" he then gave us a golf cart saying "just go, just take it" when all we wanted was our money back. We took it back to our air bnd and noticed we were abt to fall out of the seats bc of how badly they were cracked and just overall unhappy. We then called the cops to see if there was anything they could do and as soon as we told them the place we rented from he put his head down and told us this was a reoccurring issue here. He told us there was nothing he could do bc we signed a contract but I showed him the seats and all of the issues and our receipt were the worker marked "no damages". Then he decided to escort us to Saras Rentals and talk with Ludi (the man that rented us the cart) where Ludi then told him there was a miscommunication bc the only reason we wanted a refund was bc the speakers didn't work and that was not true at all. The cop said there was nothing he could do bc there was a sign that said no refunds and we signed the contract. Ludi gave us another golf cart on half a tank of gas that we had to return with a full tank! This golf cart broke down on us just after only 20 mins of riding it and sounded as if it was going to fall into a million pieces and backfiring which he clamied was all normal. Moral of the story I am beyond pissed off and disgusted that he is still in business and that he keeps taking advantage of people. read more

The absolute most awful place to rent a cart from. First cart we had, he said that "it just needs to warm up, then should run fine". Took his word for it! Went down the road, and it stalled 3 times in traffic and was back firing. We came back and asked if they had a different cart we could use due to these issues. He gave us another said shouldn't have any issues. We didn't even make it down the road to the stop light and the cart was making horrible noises and shaking. My husband and I pulled into a parking lot and thought we could make it back. We pulled out of the parking lot and got to the stop light and the cart stopped running. We called the number to the office and a staff member asked us where we were and said she was heading our way. Once she got there we got off the cart in the road and she "fixed" the belt after saying she knew it wasn't right, meanwhile she told us to go on back because her cart ( the one we had previously) stopped running. We were heading back to the rental shop and the cart sounded like the axel fell out shook and stopped running. We were on the side of the road for about 5 minutes and the lady who helped us told us to just leave the cart and she took us back. She said she told him not to let anyone use the cart because it wasn't fixed right in the first place. Needless to say at this point we just wanted our $280 back, I'm 7 months pregnant and don't want to be dealing with this! She apologized and tried to offer a sling shot but we just wanted to take our business elsewhere after all the trouble in the short span of 45 minutes to 1 hour. She informed us the man would more than likely not give us a refund because he never does. He also want there to handle this when we got back. We tried calling him to talk about the situation but no answer. We went to dinner and on our way back saw he was sitting outside. We stopped by and asked if we could have a refund, the situation just wasn't good and with the heat and being pregnant I didn't want to be stranded and stressed over this again. He proceeded to tell us we wouldn't give us a refund. After discussing this further, he said that the company doesn't do refunds. I informed him I'd be happy to talk to whoever because we definitely felt like we were being scammed. He said he couldn't give us the manager number and said he'd be back tomorrow at 2. We would just like our money back but we highly doubt it will happen. I have videos of the whole situation because I knew as soon as the cart started acting up this was going to be a situation. We went back and the guy offered us 2 of the 4 people carts so we went with that and when we got on the road my sisters cart almost crashed. She was holding it straight and the cart lost control. The guy told us it would stop mid-ride sometimes so I don't even know why they would offer up a faulty car like that. the car stopped 3 times on a maybe half to a one hour drive so we bought it back and got a different one. We rented a golf cart last night and it was to be turned in at 9am the following day, less that 2 hours into our ride the cart wouldn't go anywhere, it was running but just wouldn't go anywhere when we pushed the gas petal down, we went to turn the key in the next morning and talk with them about some type of refund, as we were leaving the next day as well and they said they didn't do refunds.
