Unfortunately we had a pretty rough experience here, which is sad because Enterprise is typically very good. However, the staff seemed uninterested and were chatting the entire time when we went to retrieve the car. I paid for an SUV similar to a RAV 4 and was given a Jeep Renegade, which is about the size of a Kia Soul and NOT an SUV. The car was either breaking or just a bad car because it could barely accelerate! It also had an oil change light on. The staff was friendly but offered no money back or anything. Brandon went over the exterior of the car with me and noted any previous damages. I drove the car to work and realized that the car had no camaras, something I'm used to. I had a confirmed reservation (SUV, 6:00 PM pickup) at the Plano Central Expy location for a family trip. I checked in online ahead of time as instructed. When I arrived at my scheduled time, I was told after a 15-20 minute wait that the branch had no vehicles available due to overbooking...no proactive solutions were offered, and I had to press for several minutes before being pointed to another location. I ended up taking a $54 Uber to the Dallas Love Field branch to get a car at all. To their credit, the Love Field team was professional and honored my original rate after I showed them my confirmation screenshots. It's for the Plano branch (store 0939) that I'm leaving one star. If you have a reservation at the Plano Central Expy location, I'd recommend calling ahead to confirm a vehicle is actually available before you go - they clearly don' know how to manage their inventory. They also doubled my rate without telling me while on my uber ride to Love Field - luckily, the Love Field branch was professional and honored my original rate. read more

Extremely satisfied with how nice everybody was at this location. Although they did not have any cars available when we arrived, we didn't mind too much the wait once we realized the car situation. We returned the rental early so someone else could use it. Also, we received a fantastic rate for the 28 days we had the car. Here we are again approximately three weeks later. I still haven't bought a new car and we have had problems with our existing cars like dead batteries, bad alternator, etc. so I decided to come back to enterprise to rent another car. What a fantastic experience. Everybody was wonderful and I got a superb car. I am so excited About this establishment and the people who work here. Brandon is awesome and he was awesome from a month ago too. Very personable and easy to work with. Another wonderful employee at this business is Minor. My grandpa had to use them while he got a new car. They gave him a car wirh existing hail damage but made him pay for it despite two witnesses supporting the fact our area had no hail. It was impossible for it to have come from our area of Dallas as we received rain and no hail. He had barely driven it and did not drive during adverse conditions. Because he didn't think to report the existing damage, the dent got pinned on him. Now he's stuck with a false claim on his record and a $500 deductible. Very predatory and probably someone covering their mistake in missing the damage. I live in the same house and my car had zero hail damage as we had zero hail in the area. Same with our neighbors. The only person more incompetant than Asst. Manager London Dial at this location is the person that put this racist, non-patriotic, unprofessional, disrespectful person in charge of the so-called customer service at this Plano, TX location. The Regional Rep was unfortunately no better at addressing the issues I had experienced with a rental that was not worthy to go off the lot for lack of brake pads in a morning of rain in the area. To be clear, this location in particular and only this location, felt it necessary to put me in a rental that had no brake pads left and was compromising my safety as the"metal to metal" sound was not going to work for me on a rainy morning in Texas. Thank goodness I know what the sound of lack of brake pads sounds like........ What? Yup, this guy went into great lengths to advise me that it was indeed my problem for the incompetance of his less than mediocre service crew. The problem in my humble opinion is due to lack of training, upper management's lack of expertise(after speaking with Regional Rep. and an overall non-compliance to the safety of paying, yes paying customers that have done business with Enterprise Corporate for many, many years. Shame on the both for your futile attempts at customer service and lack of professionalism throughout. And, most importantly...putting me in an unsafe rental and then asking me to pay for it. There are many locations throughout the Country that I know to be professional & customer service worthy, this location is not one of those. BEWARE!!!!!!!! I reserved a vehicle at this location that smelled of smoke. I returned it for another, which also smelled of smoke. The staff was unable to resolve this issue and get me in a different vehicle that met my needs. They did not offer to help me get a rental at another location. I returned the vehicle same day and my reservation was voided. I ended up renting from another Enterprise location where the service and vehicles were better quality. At 4 business days after, I still had not received a refund/void to the transaction to my credit card of the $800+ and had to call them to take care of it. I cannot recommend this location after this experience. read more

This location has always been exceptionally helpful when I've rented from them. This time I had to switch out the car midway through the trip, and came back early, so I expected the check-in to be tricky given the adjustments. We have tried to reserve twice, the first time we reserved for Sunday 10/18/20 and the location we were scheduled to pick up is closed on Sundays. This was NOT noted on the website. We went to a location that is open on Sundays and we called ahead to reserve an suv, made the reservation, get there and they say they don't have an suv available. Why on earth would you allow people to book online and by phone for a specific vehicle type and the location not be open and not have the vehicle we reserved??? January 31, 2024, I picked up a car reserved by Nationwide Insurance at 2901Central Expy and Parker Rd location in Plano, TX. February 8, I returned the car. Shortly after a charge of $ 160.93 appeared on my credit card. Called inquiring about the amount. First they asked if I used the tollway, I replied no. Then I was told it was a vehicle protection charge. I mentioned that I didn't elect nor was any discussion about any type of insurance since for the rental since I have my Auto Insurance with Nationwide. The person I was talking to agreed to refund the amount $ 160.93. The same day, February 11, I was charged $ 227.60. Again I called and explained that there was no talk/discussion when picking up the car about any other charges. I was told there was nothing they can do about it. At the time of picking up the car, the representative walked to the car and mentioned that no smoking and no pets were allowed in the car. He asked for my credit card as per their procedure. Then he handed me the tablet to sign. So, I didn't fill any information and there no talked about anything else. And if, if I would have elected this vehicle protection I would have inquired about the price and the charge on my credit card would not have been a surprise. From the reviews posted, it seems that many customers had unpleasant experiences as the Enterprise customer treatment is laced with deception and dishonesty. I find their tactic a form of surprised ambush, a predator, deceptive and fraudulent practice. I want Entreprise to do the right thing and refund the amount of $ 66.67. Also my advice, be very careful when and if renting from this company. Putting my trust in their employee was the wrong thing to do. read more

After flying all night with two kids, five bags and a cat, we finally made it to our destination. I contacted Enterprise, "The Company That Picks You Up" & spoke to an agent who made my reservation, then she informed me the closest office was closing soon, so she attempted to contact the next nearest office (8 miles away) since they were not busy, it shouldn't be an issue... After several minutes with no answer, she came back on the line and stated I should try them directly. I called, and again there was no answer. I called again a few minutes later, and Scott answered stating he had picked up a previous call but no one was on the line. I then attempted to explain my situation. Somehow he thought I already had a car and said they would be able to come switch out a car with me. I explained again that I had made a new reservation and the kids and I needed to be picked up. Suddenly, Enterprise was unable to pick us up, and I needed to find my way there. Astonishing that a company with such a motto cannot, or refuses, deliver. I canceled my reservation. Enterprise Rocks! ALL the ladies was extremely warm and friendly and helpful! My car was burglarized! No job! Yes, I was very upset trying to get things taken care of. The staff at Enterprise was very helpful and understanding to get me taken care of quickly with a rental car. Thank you Enterprise for making it painless to rent a car. They explained everything to me in detail. Central Kia referred me and they help me get a better rate due to the referral and even added my Triple A discount! 2901 N Central Expressway Plano Texas 972516-0097 I recently rented a car (Vehicle Class Volkswagen Jetta or similar) from the above location on Friday in which I was put in a (Full size vehicle) in which the branch manager Renee assured me the car was in perfect conditions to drive. He even tried to get me into a SUV but I explained to him I needed something that's good on gas. The car seemed prefect until the next day I got halfway to my destination, and it started to rain. Come to find out the windshield wiper didn't work. Keeping in mind it is a Saturday and most branches close at 12. After risking driving in the rain with no wipers we located a branch 30 mins out that quoted they had cars at the location. We finally get to the location, and they put me and my guest in 6 passenger van with half a tank of gas. At this point I am completely frustrated with my experience with this company. Finally call the customer service number and the direct us to the airport where they claimed they had cars and booked us another reservation for what I originally ordered. We get to the airport, and they say we don't have anything you have to take it back to where you got the car mind you, I'm nowhere near my originally location and honestly wouldn't trust them to put me in another vehicle when they originally put me in a broken vehicle that I had to risk my safety and my guest safety. After waiting at the airport and waiting on customer service to give me a to fix what has become at this time the worst in convince for my weekend, they claimed the van is all they have and don't see me getting into another car anytime soon. I finally give the car to airport and now I am dealing with the original branch not wanting to give me a refund and customer service not calling me back after multiple attempts. This location is a complete joke. I had to go through my insurance, so I was stuck with this location. Between the check in and check out, was a complete cluster. When I checked in the staff was overwhelmed with customers yet had time to chit chat with customers redirecting customers to the wrong location then didn't know where their driver was to take me to my auto shop before they closed. Had to get an uber to get to my next destination, so annoyed. Don't waste your time with this location if you don't need to. read more

Car rental companies are by and large all very adequate with excellent customer service. This one is a cut above, however. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. I was dropped by two hertz locations on Important trips at the last minute due to use of my debit card/ requirements they assured me that I would not have any problems after missing my Christmas trip, I tried them again after being told we have double checked with the pick up location that using my debit bank card with chase would be no problem and they apologized for my failed Christmas trip, I get there they then tell me its a required credit check not a soft but a hard inquiry 645 score we cant rent to you!!! I was Pissed to say the least, I went to prepare my own car to get on the road last minute for my daughter's Baby shower in Tennessee and enterprise came to my rescue did everything over the phone car was READY a driver picked us up and we were on the road in less than 15 min I will NEVER rent from anyone But Enterprise Neil/Jake took care of me, I gave them the Biggest hugs, they will forever be my Angels I LOVE you both & my new rental car family. read more

Normally, I love Enterprise. They are the best especially at the Salt Lake City airport. I had my car repaired with Caliber Collision (Plano TX) who were totally awesome and my insurance paid for it, plus my rental car. Caliber uses Enterprise, and Enterprise promised me a rental car, and because I only needed it for less than 24 hours, they promised me they (Plano, TX Enterprise) would not charge an airport drop off fee. Then the bill they sent my insurance company showed I had dropped it off after 3 days, not one. Also, I got a bill from Enterprise for a $3.00 toll charge, plus a $3.00 "inconvenience fee" which added up to $7.00 out of my pocket. I call Enterprise, told them "Kevin" promised me no airport drop off fee, and why did they charge my insurance company for 3 days when I had the day just for one. And I asked about the toll fee which was a real bad PR move quite frankly, and he said they always tell you there would be a charge, but I do not recall being told, etc. All in all - really bad PR in my opinion. Maybe I'll just use them in Salt Lake City and not Plano anymore. They were nice when I spoke to them over the phone, but since I am in the sale industry myself, all I can say is that it really makes me suspicious now, which is not real good PR when you can't trust. We rented from the Plano, Texas location at 2901 N. Central Expwy - great service - the best we have had. All the employees were very nice and helpful.
