I do a lot of local travel within the state. I've been renting from Enterprise for weeks now. The challenge I was running into was every time I rented, I had to have my corp. card on hand as they needed it to swipe the card for check-in. I understood that as a policy but unfortunately, my business had one card that was used by every employee, so I couldn't take the card for a day or two at a time, as there might have been another employee who needed it. The second challenge was my office is located in Dartmouth and I live in Plymouth, so it made it easier for me to rent from the Plymouth location. With my most recent visit, as I explained my challenge, Nick, the Assistant Manager, was extremely professional, helpful and solution oriented. He suggested to create an account with Enterprise Plus and enter my information in along with my credit card that I would be using weekly. To my surprise, it worked. Great experience. Scott Sancomb was excellent. He handled my rental of a Chrysler Pacifica quickly & efficiently. This was an extended rental while my own vehicle was repaired by a collision center. The communication between Enterprise, King Collision and the insurance company was seemless to continue the rental until all repairs were completed. Enterprise handled this without my direct involvement. So painless, given my upset at the damage to my car by another driver. read more

Went on a insurance rental, I asked specifically about their policy with DEBIT cards a week before arrival. The person on the phone was very nice, and he told me as long as my name was on the card and it had a credit card symbol with $100 on it, I would be good to go. I called the day of and inquired about availability and price ranges, and was told in order to get the price of the rentals they had available, they'd have to scan my license! I didn't say a word. I arrived. They scanned my license. I asked what was available. They showed me two vehicles but still did not give me a price. I chose one asked about the price, and they asked to run my credit card and they will go inside to get the price I handed it to them. They told me they could not accept my card because it did not have a chip. I'm all set, I will use a different venue. read more

I couldn't not leave a review for our experience about a week ago. We ran into a last minute hiccup while heading up north, and stopped in at the nearest rental place on a whim about an hour before closing. Julie helped us out (we never did go apple picking, Julie) and got us in a ride just at the buzzer! She was extremely accommodating and helpful given the circumstance, and genuinely wanted to see our roadtrip succeed. (Empathy!? How rare in customer service these days.) We indeed made the trek up to New Hampshire in a super nice/new SUV. When dropping the car back off, the gentleman at the counter was also very friendly and actually worked his way around scoring me a deal on the price! I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD This was my 3rd time renting from Enterprise and as of now MY LAST. In April I had to make an appointment to have my car fixed at an auto body shop in Plymouth. They informed me that they would set up my car rental and all I had to do was show up. I picked up my Enterprise rental at the auto shop and drove it for about a week and a half. The gentleman who originally assisted me was helpful, I would like to point out. When the auto body shop called to let me know my car was ready they did not indicate that I was to return the car directly to Enterprise. Since the whole thing had been arranged through the auto body shop and Enterprise had not told me I had to return the car to them, I left the rental car and keys behind at the instructions of the woman who helped me at the auto shop and went about my business. I realized the next morning that I had never been contacted about the rental car IN ANY FORM, no email, no call, no text, NOTHING. So I called Enterprise and was informed that there was some damage to the trunk door and that they were keeping my security deposit, going to come after my insurance deductible and would be filing a claim against my insurance. When I dropped that car off there was no visible damage to any part of it. I am BESIDE MYSELF at the lack of honesty and customer service I have experienced at the Plymouth location. The MANAGER (Chase is his name I believe) proceeded to wait about 5 days then charged my bank account for more money WITHOUT TELLING ME OR EXPLAINING THE AMOUNT NEEDED, then LIED and wrote a note to his team that he had called me the day before to discuss it! As of now I have called Enterprise corporate to find out why they were allowed to debit my card and cause me to go several hundred dollars negative more than a week before I get paid again. It's been 48hrs and I haven't heard back from anyone. My account is going MORE negative as we speak, I am getting 0 help from anyone at Enterprise and it's almost the weekend. read more

I was referred to them by my insurance company after having an accident. Everyone there at the Plymouth Branch was so wonderful, professional, helpful, and kind! They all made me smile and laugh, and feel at ease while setting up my rental, while my Ridgeline was getting fixed. It was such a pleasure dealing with such kind people! I've waited over 3 months to speak to Chris the regional manager about an incident that happened at this location. His employees labeled me a thief and put me on the "do not rent" list. I pleaded with Chris to watch the cameras and now over 3 months later, I never got a call back. He also said that he'd take me off the "do not rent" list which hasn't been done because I tried to rent through Alamo and they wouldn't let me. I've called enterprise in Hyannis and Plymouth and can never get a hold of Chris. Now I'm going through enterprise corporate and Alamo. Do not rent from this location. read more

Do not trust this location. The website quotes you an estimated cost to rent a vehicle, in my case $219. I can understand putting that cost on hold on my credit card. They wanted to put a hold of twice the amount and then some on my credit card. I had a credit card with ample credit available, but they would not take it because it did not have a chip. Before I knew that the charge would be $520 I figured I would use a different card, that has a chip. I have room on the new card for the $219. We went through the vehicle inspection and all the extra crap they try to upsell you on. I signed everything on the dude's tablet. At the very end he feels me the total of $520 that would be charged. I was like um, no. If we can use my non chip card, fine. The manager would not approve of using the non chip card. It's their "new" policy, to prevent credit fraud. It also prevents sales, dummies. Part of me feels discriminated against because of the clothes I was wearing, or something else. Either way, don't rent here. Do your homework and find somewhere else to rent a car. read more

I drove over an hour to pick up my rental just to get there for them to tell me my age didn't meet the requirements of the vehicle I was renting. I made sure to call to clarify before picking up and Kelly, the women I had spoken to 2x never said anything regarding my age. They then tried to up-sell me another vehicle that was not nice at all might I add and also charged me for my domestic partner when it says on the website that DOMESTIC PARTNERS/SPOUSE IS NOT AN EXTRA FEE. I do have to say the lady I worked with today, Cassandra handled the situation very well and was very nice. Definitely never going to that location again. read more

I actually rented a vehicle for a few months. The first gentleman I dealt with was great but he soon "got promoted" so instead I was dealing with Julie. She seemed nice enough but be careful, they explain one thing yet do another. For her 3 days is 47 hours so I suggest you stay on top of the charges and not just assume they are billing you accordingly. Looking back over the charges they hit me with shows no rythm reason or consistency. Not sure if they get commission on what they can bill you for but it sure seems that way. Also security deposit is a joke cause after the fact when you get less as a refund they will tell you they deducted taxes or overages from it even though they also charged you weekly. Car was nice, clean and well maintained. Quoted price also was decent but be careful of their business practices. read more

I've been renting cars for business and leisure for over 30 years. This rental was in my top five best anywhere in the country! Julie, Jackie, Chris, Ken - all awesome individuals who made my rental so easy. I needed a car while mine was being repaired. They picked me up from the repair shop, took me back the next day to retrieve my own car and in the midst of it all, were just plain old fun to talk to. Enterprise as a company is great but this location in Plymouth Ma is clearly dishonest and trying to create fake insurance claims. I tried to return a viehical here that was in perfect condition; just as when I picked it up. The agent climbed all over the car looking for a problem and said there was damage on the roof of the car. He said it was Hail damage in one corner. In fact if there was hail damage it would have been all over the car and it did not hail at all - there was no damage the roof was in perfect new car condition. They were trying to create a fraudlent insurance claim and the team was all trying to find the spots this man said he saw but didnt and didnt say anything - seems like a common practice in this location to try to create a claim. I did not return the car there because it was so clear they were trying to commit fraud and trying to charge me the deductable. There was and is absolutly no damage at all. The car is as good as new. I returned the car to another location with great service and no problem. This branch in Plymouth town center should be investigated by the better business b. and the police. Do not use this branch until the company changes the people working there or corrects their unlawful behaviour. I miss VERC rental. So I rent a car for travel for work probably on average 1-2 a month for a whole week. I used call VERC they always had a car ready for me. Enterprise in Plymouth , I have rented 4 times since March -same location have yet to meet the same person. I make a reservation today I was 40 mins late because of work related issues . They have already cancelled my reservation. Never again-will I use them . The have lost from me about 3-5,000 dollars worth of business a year. They don't care . read more

Only got it here because it was an insurance rental. Car was too small for my size/height and I noted that at pick up. Their response was to just put the seat more reclined so I could barely reach the steering wheel. Also, they send the car out with less than half a tank of gas. I have never picked up a rental that was not close to full from a rental car company. I would suggest going with Verc if it is a possibility. They were terrific on getting my husband and myself the vehicle over to the airport when we landed on Saturday.at the Plymouth Municipal Airport I received a pretty much blank receipt and a upgraded car we did not chose. We handed the key to the front desk when we left 3 hours later and went home. I then noticed a $300.00 deposit on hold on my debit card!!! If I new that was going to happen I would of used a regular Visa card. Since it is Sunday and they are closed The vehicle wont be checked in til tomorrow which will tighten my funds even longer then 3 days. Because of the lack of funds I had to stay close to home the rest of the weekend and until the fund are released. 2 days later the hold came off and I received a recorded call that I was going to be charged for my one day and thank you for my business. I went on line and checked my account and long and behold a $300.00 was held again! I called and spoke to Jess who told me they didn't have it on file that it was returned so they put a hold on the account again but took it off at 300pm so it would take 24 hours to come off.. Less money in the checking again! I also was charged more for the vehicle then what I had pulled up from the web site. She said it was New Years weekend so It was more. We called from the train and they came & got us, which was great, agent was friendly, knew the area,, suggested great things we could see in the area. When we brought the car back, they cheerfully took us to the camp in the woods we were going to, even though the last mile was on a dirt road. I rented a large sedan from the rental agency on Samoset Street, Plymouth. Car smelled like an old ashtray, covered in scratches and dents, They did not even clean the windows before I picked it up. When I complained about the smell they squirted something on the carpets. When I returned it and told Bridget it made me nauseous she stated some people are more sensitive than others! Prices are terrible. This is the worst car rental agency ever. Gave away our rental that we reserved 2 weeks in advance because we weren't there at EXACTLY 10 AM. Enterprise Car Rental in Plymouth, MA Could possibly be the most dishonest people I've done business with in a long time. I deal with Enterprise all the time at various locations around the country and have never had an issue. Without going into long details, I'd just advise you to read the contract through ( it's not the same as the national contract) and make sure you get a full sign off of your liability when you return the car.
