I was able to extend one day which I needed. I wonder though why I had to call, as opposed to extending online since I had done everything easily online. I was initially put in a tin Lizy. The dashboard lights were out, the engine was lugging and the radio couldn't be turned on. That should not have happened and deserved no better than one star. However, I went back the following day and the put me in a car that was fit to be driven, so I generously gave them three stars. read more

I recently had occasion to use this auto rental company while my car was being repaired. I was collected from the repair shop and taken to the Enterprise office to choose and collect my rental car. Once my car was repaired I returned the rental directly to Enterprise and was then driven back to the repair shop to collect my car. All in all I received good service and a good clean vehicle from Enterprise and would highly recommend them. read more

My BMW was rear ended and BMW drove me to Enterprise in Port Chester for a loaner. The staff members at Enterprises were courteous, knowledgable and very accommodating. Initially they told me that I will be given a large SUV. I do not like big car and requested a small one. They asked me to wait a little while and someone brought back the car and I was able to use that car. We were there a little early but drove off the new car even before our appointment time. I am very happy with Enterprise and I highly recommend it to anyone. read more

I had a bad experience with this branch already twice. They are understaffed and give the cars without full tank which, although it is not a huge deal, it is hard to gauge how much gas to put in to return it and break it even. They don't really inspect the cars either when they give it to the client or when it is returned. I forgot my own EZ-pass device in the car and they didn't even notice until I started seeing charges in my account. I had to call several times to find a solution and when I came to pick it up it was not there. Not a good service at all. I recommend choosing the one in Mamaroneck instead in the area, although it's not great either. read more

This has always been my preferred Enterprise in the area. I'm in Greenwich. Thank God they've just opened back up and are running after taking a short break. They walk, talk and act like the best of Enterprise. Like the Enterprise I use when I'm in LA. My S-Line Audi is currently in Island Park Auto Body, the single best Auto Body shop in the Stamford, Greenwich, Port Chester area, period. An Enterprise that I was forced to use days ago put me in a smoked-in, dirty Infinity SUV with 58,000m on the ODO. I'd asked for a higher end SUV, preferably Audi. This had a dangerously wide and imbalanced turning response - wide radius; it was very slow to respond in a curve. In addition, it was dirty enough inside for me get a towel and Windex. After I clearly commented to the delivering agent for the fourth time that the outside was dirty - with brown dirt - she said she would reimburse me for a car wash. On my 2nd day of heavy smoke smell through the vents, I realized that I did not need this. And I was tired of having to disinfect myself every time I got home. It's the middle of a pandemic and I shouldn't have to do that. I have a medical reason that makes a properly prepared car essential. Dust, fingerprints and dirty rings around the vents were something I should not have had to deal with. Long story short: Lauren, of Island Park Auto Body, made a courtesy call to Enterprise without my knowing. Hey. I'm her customer. Amazing. I got a call this morning from Bianca at Port Chester Enterprise. She apologized for Enterprise and asked if I would like one of her vehicles. Yes. Within 1/2 hour an Audi A5 with 1500 miles on the ODO was downstairs waiting, delivered by cheery and efficient Rosa. Rosa had me in the car immediately. It is flawless, spotless, and had the Enterprise hang tag in it, describing how the car had been disinfected for the pandemic . She just called to make sure everything was fine and tell me she had balanced tire air. This is the way the best Enterprise locations work. Actually, Port Chester exceeds all expectations. I regularly rent cars off Metro North when we need to get out of NYC and this one, hands down, had the best pricing and the most competent and friendly staff. In and out in 10 minutes with a nice Ford Hybrid that was fun to drive. Will be coming back to rent from here again. read more

Kevin, the manager was absolutely fantastic and completely accommodating, giving me great rates and compensating me for mechanical issues I had with a previous car. Marquis (sp?) and Michael are also always very kind, efficient and professional. I love this location, the staff overall is just excellent in customer service. It means something when I travel 27 miles from my hometown (when there is an enterprise literally around the corner from where I live) just to go and do business with these guys. I've worked with this Enterprise a bunch of times for some weekend rentals. I've always used a debit card, they take a higher deposit and required a pay check but that was never an issue. I reserved a car for this weekend to visit family and when the rep called to confirm I advised I'm using a debt card which I had done before but wanted to confirm what I needed. She informed me of a policy change that requires a utility bill. This is a big issue and I called and tried to work with them to find a way to make this work since I knew I didn't have a bill to share ( I have roommates who were there before I was so it's understandable) I was told there is nothing they can do. This is extremely frustrating and poor service. I called back and tried to work with Marcus who was friendly but advised there was nothing else they can do. I cancelled my reservation bc clearly this isn't going to work. He apologized and I appreciated that but it doesn't change the poor experience and customer service. I've worked with this company in the past, they have my information I'm even a reward member and this is completely unacceptable read more

This particular location of Enterprise is consistently the best rental car experience I've ever had. I am always greeted by polite, nice people who are willing to get me the best deal that they can offer. They offer after-hours drop off that is very easy. Overall I could not ask for anything more from them. In particular, the assistant manager, Danielle, was extraordinarily helpful to me in an emergency situation I had recently. If you have the opportunity to work with her, I would recommend it. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. Made my reservation through the phone to pick up at the Port Chester location. Woman asked if it would be debit or credit and I responded that I wasn't sure, probably debit and she just said ok and made the reservation. Get to the place to pick up the car and they tell us that if it's debit, there's a $250 deposit (fine, I get that there has to be) but that they also need proof of income and/or a utility bill, none of which was mentioned to me when I made the reservation nor in the email confirming the reservation. My boyfriend went to pick the car up so after they tell him that, I call the place and spoke to three different people, the first two were extremely rude and each time I spoke to someone, there was a new requirement to pick up the car. First was the pay stub, then another one said utility bill, then the third said they had to have a local address, either in Port Chester or Greenwich. NONE OF WHICH WAS LISTED ANYWHERE ON THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT NOR ON THE WEBSITE! Then the last guy I spoke to, I think was the manager, says he'll take care of it since we found a bill online. Boyfriend goes down there and they tell him that because we're picking up the car 45 mins earlier than originally scheduled, they only had one car that was 2x the original agreed upon amount. So in a 45 minute difference, they would have gotten our car in and would have had it cleaned and ready to go? In just 45 minutes? And not only was it 2x the agreed amount, it fell in the intermediate SUV category and there are 9 other cheaper car categories that we would have taken but we weren't offered any of those. From the original $115 agreed upon, we were charged over $400!! I called the customer service center and was told the regional manager would be get back to me but I never got any phone call, despite following up with them a couple of times. I would hope one of the other locations would have a more competent staff but I would try for other companies before going to this one!! read more

This location is fantastic!!! On 2/3/16 my BMW run flat tire was destroyed by a pot hole on I-95. The manager, a really nice lady, whose name I can't recall picked me up at the BMW dealership that I had been towed to even though it was 6pm and they were closing. This location stayed open late just for me. Super friendly with exceptional service, exactly what I needed after a having such bad luck just moments before with the pothole.
