A rental car is either for a super fun reason, like a vacation or a long drive down the coast, or in my case, a very bad reason, like a car accident. Lucky for me, Enterprise in Redmond is open on Sundays until 5pm. I showed up at 4:45pm and though they only had minivans left, they honored my Amazon discount (you can also use AAA) and it turned out to be roughly the same price as a car. The employees were very friendly and now that I've had the rental for two months, I've got to know them well and will be a life-long customer. The staff is great. Dani helped me set up my reservation and was limited on time and she made sure was in and out fast. Pretty fast compared to other experiences I've had at other rental places. Got a rental as an insurance loaner when my car was in the shop. Drove it exactly twice, once to my home, and once back to the place. We've gotten several rental cars from them over the years, either personal or through the repair shop and overall had good experiences. The service is usually good and they also were able to help when we got a car that had some mechanical issues and replaced it quickly with something else. They do have limited hours on weekends, I think that is the only downside and I don't trust the key drop (nothing against them, I wouldn't do that with any car rented). read more

I have rented many times from many places over the years and I never thought a place could be run so perfectly? I am always lost since every place is different but they made me feel comfortable right away and were all patient with me as they explained everything to me and also picked me up and dropped me off?! I had no hassles and was amazed at how quickly everything happened. I sat in the car contemplating how smooth everything went longer than the whole experience I had. It was that shocking for me. * They had all my information and knew exactly what I needed. * The flexibility on extending my rental was amazingly easy. * The Rental agreement and options presented were all clearly explained to me with experience and knowledge. * The transaction timeline was shockingly fast * Utilized technology to make my experience very easy and painless * Friendly, patient, and very experienced staff. When I returned the car, I overheard an employee apologizing that they were understaffed that morning. The look on all the clients faces were in awe as we thought it was still amazing on courtesy, professionalism, and speed. That's understaffed? LOL I mean, I was told that a ride to where I needed to be dropped off after I returned the car was going to be 5-10 minutes and I waited a whole 3-4 minutes so ... *shrug* Overall an amazing experience that made the reason why I had to grab a rental last minute a much better than expected day(s). This place started of as good. They picked me up from the location and gave me a car. So far so good.....The car was dirty....I have kids and I cannot run again and again to change the car....So I cleaned it myself...I had the car for little more than a month and finally I received my vehicle from the collision center and I dropped off the rental vehicle. As the repair took more than 3 weeks the collision center agreed to pay off my rental car...Enterprise changed the contract and started billing the collision center. Two weeks after I returned the vehicle I got a call from enterprise in Redmond that you have a balance which the collision company is not paying so you have to pay...The guy was harassing me for money and told that he would like to get this settled by tonight...I was shocked I told him that collision center is suppose to pay and he should be talking to them...The way he was talking was really aggressive so I told him that I would call the collision center and get this straighten out....I called the collision center and everything seemed to be fine... I learned later that balance was 289$...I along with my insurance company had paid more than 1000$ over the rental on top of what collision center has been paying them...The way he was asking for money was really bad and asking to the wrong person is just not acceptable....Enterprise you talk about customer engagement and customer service...Harassing customers is definitely not the policy you should have..... read more

I am writing to first say that I am sorry that I kept the rental car past the time that it was due. I am glad that we were able to clear up the balance entirely on the spot. My purpose here is to help preserve what ensued on September 20th, 2021 at approximately from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., when earlier in the day, Emmanuel, told me that he'd provide me with an Uber ride home upon return of the car. When the time came to give me an Uber ride home. He first acted like I didn't know what I was talking about, and then when pressed, admitted to lying to me in front of Lauren, the Branch Rental Manager, in his words, "in order to get me to return the car." I looked at Lauren, and got the impression that Lauren was shocked by Emmanuel's behavior and admittance to lying to me... She remained silent though. Emmanuel, also admitted to lying to the corporate office in order to keep them, "off his back." He said, that he'd tell corporate something along the lines of, "Oh no, we know this guy. He's been in... Yeah, we're talking to him..." etc. As I am pressed for money at the moment due to many outlying circumstances, I explained to him that he left me stranded 30 miles from home. I asked him for a ride, he said he wouldn't. I asked the entire office (just Lauren and Emmanuel at this point) if anyone could help me get home. Everyone stayed silent... I finally as a protest said that I was not going to leave the store until I got a ride home. Emmanuel postured his chest in an intimidating way and told me that, "He will MAKE me leave the store." It was very clear that he was trying to physically intimidate me. I invited them to call the police, to which Lauren called and upon their return I left the office and proceeded to greet the police. While we were waiting for the police to arrive, I repeatedly asked him how he was going to get me home. I asked if he could give me a ride north. They both said no. I asked if he could do anything.... nothing... he didn't care if I did get home... and I am assuming that Lauren also didn't care, but she was not someone who told me that they'd get me home. I want to further note that Lauren remained professional and composed throughout the entire encounter. I would also like to note that during the encounter Emmanuel removed his mask within a 6 foot distance of me to talk to me further, and did not put his mask back on. Due to his previous physical display of aggression towards me, I didn't feel safe to ask him to put his mask back on. This made me feel very uncomfortable as we are in a deadly pandemic, and I would like to decrease my risk of catching COVID. I appreciate Lauren for keeping in compliance with the local mandates and providing a safe space by leaving her mask on. One of the policemen asked the other what happened and he told the other officer that I got, "rused." They all had a nice chuckle at my dismay... and I can understand why... after all, they can get home, but they all seemed to agree that it was a really horrible thing to do to someone. The Redmond Police were able to get me to the transit center in Totem Lake for which I was and still am very grateful for, but saddened that they had to use their time in order for me to get marginally closer to my residence. In the end, I brought the car back and settled my account with Enterprise. I did the right thing. I am still waiting for Emmanuel to also do the right thing. This encounter was one of the most unprofessional and wreckless encounters I have ever experienced... I am still shocked and emotionally distressed at the deceitful and abusive type of behavior that Emmanuel directed towards me. A competing local rental agency (closer to my house) did NOT provide the mini-van I for which I had a confirmed reservation. I called Enterprise in Redmond to verify their website was correct and they really did have minivans in stock. Their website told the truth, and they really did have them in stock. I immediately went down, and they were extremely helpful. I needed to haul a large item, so the stow-and-go seats needed to be stowed. Not an intuitive venture. The agent was very helpful in getting them stowed so I could quickly get on the road after being delayed by the other agency. My experience was pretty good actually. I booked a compact car at 10 am. I did not show up on time because I thought as long as I booked, they would reserve for me. They did not. I showed up at ~12pm and they gave me a free upgrade to a mini van. Yay! ----------------Update as of 7/9/2017-------------------- I rented a intermediate car for a day on Friday 5:30pm, and returned on Saturday 8:30pm, they charge me 2 whole days of USD129.51. I telephoned them on the next day and they said 3 hours late would be a full charge for an extra day, which is written in the policy that I signed. The employee did not explain this to me when I rented. And the link is too long to notice. I asked which item it was, they said they don't know and it was in there. I said I feel bad about this experience and wouldn't visit this branch any more. They said ok and hang up the phone. Good job enterprise. If I could give a zero rating I would. Unfortunately upon returning my car, I didn't realize that I was leaving behind some very valuable contents of my purse. While driving the car, I had to hit the breaks which caused my purse to spill out underneath the passenger seat. I returned the vehicle to Enterprise, regretfully without checking the entire car before leaving. Within a half an hour of dropping off the car I realize that my wallet is missing from my purse. I immediately called the branch to be told that they only found my lip balm & it had been thrown away. I was in a panic. There was no where else my wallet could have been. I had purchased food during my drive, and the car was the last place my wallet was used/seen. There is no other possibility for its location. Of course the wallet had a few one hundred dollar bills & gift cards, which were an easy target. I spent the entire next day looking for my wallet (while on a family vacation). I finally contacted the branch again to tell them I would be looking through their trash for my valuables. Upon this search I found not only my lip balm, but my cashmere gloves, my business cards, my pens, and other belongings. NO Wallet! I resorted to searching the trash only after looking through the rental as well. I then brought these items into the manager to let him know that I had been lied to, and that my other articles had been found in his trash. With no response other than, why would someone risk their career, I was left with a stolen wallet. This happening while on family vacation completely ruined my trip. I was so consumed in finding my wallet, since I was to leave for China on a business trip that same week. It was highly frustrating and disappointing. I would have hoped that a national chain, that totes around its family values, would have been more honest. From calling in the morning to let them know I gave them the wrong address, to them being patient waiting 15 minutes for me and my friends. The driver and the staff were so nice and friendly to us. They were professional but you felt that they cared. They were patient and went over everything we wanted. We also asked right before they closed if they could drop us off and they again did with a smile. I was so impressed with everyone that worked there. I bought their insurance because during the walk around I saw the car had lots of dings but the agent said they were too small to write up. I would drive out of your way to go to another enterprise location! The previous month, and multiple rentals, I had a 2500 dodge ram that was loaded more than a few times. This facility I was able to use my debit card at the Kirkland branch. The Kirkland branch was out of trucks, so I then proceeded to Redmond as a new customer. The employee there tried telling me that a 1500 ram, that was basic stock as they come, was a premier truck, and said we can only rent with a credit card and can't accept debit cards for premium vehicles. I then asked why I wasn't able to use a debit card, and she said it was a premium truck. This was not true, as I could have selected this model, but instead chose the upgrade version on the website. Having no choice with limited trucks, I then proceeded to pay for the weekly rate on my credit card. Making this facility even worse, Now after the weekly rate was only supposed to be $198.26, and adding a $200 deposit for "the premium", then proceeded to take an additional $198.26 on my other card that I used to extend the reservation to the weekly rate, so $507.69 later, I had a very beaten up, neglected truck. Would not recommend this facility. Now I wonder how long I will have to wait to get my money back for another mistake made. Very unprofessional and would never send anyone here for the those two reasons alone. A shame, because the employees seemed helpful until everything unveiled. read more

First of all, I want to say that while being "nice", I was essentially lied to and manipulated by a manager named "Chang" at Redmond Enterprise. Make no mistake, there is essentially a crime ring working out of this Redmond office. They have a deal with Accurate Auto Body in Redmond where they rip you off and lie to you. Again they are nice as pie--but there are a group of individuals there basically taking bribes. "Chang" isn't even a real person. He's a character. Apparently Enterprise doesn't take this too seriously, because I have complained and they haven't shut it down yet. Definitely rent your car somewhere else! read more

Got a rental last week while my son was visiting because my car was still stuck in a snow bank. Ordered online and it was a really great rate for an intermediate size. Less than 5 minutes at the counter picking up and returning. I like it when the car comes with a full tank so I don't have to think about it any sooner then I need to, especially since I was going out to the airport. The wipers on my rental car suck so i went to autozone and called enterprise rental to see if i could just buy some and put them on and bring them the receipt. They said no, i have to take the car to firestone to have the work done. I'm at firestone and they don't have the right wipers so they sent their driver to autozone to get the wipers! Now I'm waiting, should have just bought the $10 wipes and been home by now. Still waiting 45 minutes later. Enterprise sucks and Firestone as well. read more

I used this rental company when my car was being repaired and was booked through an insurance company. They had a great 7 passenger vehicle available for me. I returned it on Christmas Day via the key drop off, which was very convenient. They called the next day to let me know they received the car and I would be getting my deposit fully refunded. SUMMARY. After returning a car to Enterprise, Brett refused to provide drop-off service to me. Even when the staff was going to pick up another customer, one of the staff asked to drop me off, and Brett said "No!" with contempt towards me. There were 5 Enterprise staff in the office and no other customers at the time. DETAILS I rented a car from enterprise in Redmond because my car was hit by another car on the highway. State Farm covers $25 per day, and the Enterprise rental was $35 per day. $10/day out of pocket is very expensive for a 3-week rental. State Farm suggested that I return my car to Enterprise then pick up a car from Hertz. There were 5 enterprise staff in the office and I was the ONLY customer. After returning the car, I asked the Enterprise staff for drop-off service and the "manager" Brett said "No". I looked at all the staff sitting around and I asked "Are you sure?". Brett replied "Everyone is busy so we can't drop you off". He looked uncomfortable because I think he was lying. One of the female staff was about to leave to pick up a customer. I overheard Scott and Brett. Scott quietly asked Brett, "Can we just drop off this guy?" referring to me. Brett said "No!" with a lot of contempt towards me. After that, Brett avoided all eye contact with me. Brett was mean to withhold drop-off service from me. I don't know why Brett refused to help me out. Maybe because I was going to rent from Hertz, but even still, I was a paying customer of Enterprise while I had their car. Scott and the girl were very nice. RECOMMENDATIONS Avoid Enterprise. I am a frequent enterprise rental car customer. If you were to ask me about my experiences with Enterprise before this experience... I woul have possibly given a raving review. However - after today that is not the case. I rented a car a little less then 2 weeks ago (mind you today is 09/26/17) They ended up giving me a car with tabs that expired back in July 2017(TWO MONTH AGO!). I was stopped and harrassed by an officer for an hour after he let me go without a ticket. This experience in itself was very frustrating. the next morning - which is today. I called Enterprise and informed them of the expired tabs. after speaking with a customer service rep and asking to speak to a manager. he refused and insisted on transfering me to the branch which i made clear I wanted to speak to a manager in the call center - not a branch representative. once i spoke to a branch representative - i believe his name was eli. He was nice and apologetic about my situation. However he suggested that I drive the car to them to pick up the tabs. I dont see why I have to make a trip back to enterprise in an illiegal vehicle to pick the tabs up. Horrible Experience I got car rental after getting booking through insurance (some guy rear ended my car and his insurance made the booking), I told the person when signing forms, I wont be paying extra and he said yes the insurance would pay for the daily rent and when i go to return the car (my car was totaled), I am billed 500 something dollars, saying i signed up for extra protection. I called up the manager and let her know, and she said i would get a call back which i never did and i have a charge showing on my account is the next thing i know. Never renting from this location, prying on someone coming through accident when you know how bookings are made via car insurance, and not being transparent about it to the customer doesn't reflects good on company like enterprise. read more

He acted like a child and swore at us by telling us to "fuck ourselves" because we waited an hour for a car when we explained to them in advance that we were in a rush to pick our daughter up and he didn't care at all. Had the absolute worst experience upon returning a vehicle here rented via SeaTac airport. Firstly let me start off by saying I used the "after-hours" dropbox service Sunday to return my vehicle because this location was closed at the time the car was due to return. I made an HONEST mistake of forgetting to drop the keys in the box after signing off the car info on the return clipboard, I had to walk back to where I parked to copy the license # and go back to write it down, placing the keys in my pocket during the midst of everything. I didn't realize that I still had the keys until late Monday night. Tuesday morning I called this location to explain the situation and was told by Sidney to bring the keys back and it'd be taken care of. Simple & easy, right? WRONG! Upon our return to bring the keys back the "MANAGER" NICKY OR NICKI had the most unprofessional attitude I've ever come across. She stated that they'd have to charge us more than double for the extra days she wasn't able to rent the car out, although there are spare keys and no courtesy call was issued regarding the keys this was one of many LIES she told to our faces. It makes no sense that we'd be charged although the car was in THEIR possession. She basically called me a liar and said "Sidney did not say that, I was standing right next to him when you called." When we requested to speak with Sidney she said "Well I'm the manager here and any questions you have can be answered by me." Then shortly after stated there wasn't anything more she could do to help us and we'd have to contact the airport for further assistance. She was not helpful at all and literally snickered and giggled as we expressed our frustrations and her response to me saying I wouldn't ever rent via Enterprise again after this was, "okay!" Make sure you call the actual facility you are renting from, I spoke to a rep andd confirmed four times that I needed four wheel drive when I reserved, then drove 45 minutes to pick up the car and they didn't have that in the reservation! The woman I spoke to acted hurried, uncaring, and just wanted to get off the phone, which is why I made sure to point out several times what I needed. I'm very disappointed, I guess I just expected the same courtesy and helpfulness I've hotten fromother car rental agencies that they cannot give.
