Due to many delayed flights into San Antonio, Texas. I waited two days, thru no fault of their own. I am a 74 year old, large great grandmother of 4. The only car available for me , at the SpringBranch facility was a Chevy Spark. There was absolutely no room for an adult to sit in the back seat. I had one medium suitcase that fit like a glove in the "trunk" With mainly Freeway or Highway to access mostly everywhere. This little bitty car barely got out of its own way. I would first like to clarify why I initially felt annoyed with Enterprise, where it concerned the first car we had been issued by them (Toyota Cross Sport). When car shut off unexpectedly, I had called up Enterprise immediately; however, I ended up driving straight their since their lines are dead/unresponsive half the time, which was the case when I tried several times to call. I spoke with Roger and explained the issue with the car and my concern for driving with my daughter and not wanting to break down or have the car shut off again. Roger suggested I take the car to the garage for them, telling me "it won't take long". I was a little taken back by the request but drove off the lot with the car until the next morning. I returned the car the following day and expressed to Roger that I shouldn't be asked to take the car to the mechanic for them, I am simply renting from them. It is Enterprise's responsibility to rent out safe and reliable vehicles! Roger did agree to swap the vehicle and I was given a VW Passat. I didn't have time to hang around and promptly left to my next destination after walking around the vehicle. When I arrived I noticed a sticker just inside the door for service, showing a mileage that the car was soon to reach (within 200miles). I called back up and spoke with Roger again, who assured me that the vehicle had just gone through its service/oil change and not to worry about the sticker in the door. I also noted a sticky brake pad on the car but thankfully this is just a mild annoyance and something to get used to as the car sometimes brakes sharply. I have had several occasions where the lane assist has had the car randomly trying to pull me into other lanes/vehicles on the highway. This is not great since I am always with my little girl. I am then fighting with the steering wheel to stay in lane. And since this feature comes on by default each time I start the car, it is when those incidents happen that I am reminded to turn it off. I had only been driving the car for around a week when the car notification popped up for the next service/oil change. At the time of the review I had no end date given on the repairs to my own vehicle (insurance rental) or that of when the rental agreement would expire. I am still unsure of this date as our rental is to be extended as my car now finally gets repaired. I want to say this hasn't been the worst experience but certainly not the best. I believe Enterprise could do better where it concerns the safety of vehicles and staying up to date on service. My review was responded to by Enterprise and I did reach out via email as requested. De'janee is a terrible "manager" and only wants to help people that will agree to the add ons that comes with their company. I work for a rental company and seen how far they are willing to go to help customers and prioritize customers. She only prioritizes who she wants to help based on the color of their skin. She continued to charge a customers card multiple times because she was African American but declined to help my mother because she was Hispanic. I don't understand how you can belittle another minority. I am baffled and will do anything to get her fired. 0/10 stars trick. If you're Hispanic or a minority please avoid working with her and visiting this location. She also asked if my mother had a job which has NOTHING to do with renting a car??? State Farm used Enterprise to give us a Camry while our vehicle was getting worked on. We returned it and walked around the vehicle with the employee. they told us everything was fine. Then a month later they sent a damage claim to my insurance, claiming the vehicle had been in a hail storm. The claim was made five days after we had turned in the vehicle. The vehicle was immediately rented out after we turned it in. Also, we had to put a $50 deposit to rent the vehicle. We were given back the $50 deposit after the vehicle was turned in. No employee pointed out any damage to the vehicle when we turned it in and even drove it with my wife in the vehicle to the repair shop where are vehicle was being fixed. I feel as if enterprise dropped the ball on their end, and is blaming us for their mistake. We are disputing the claim at the moment, and will update once we figure out what's going on with with enterprise. Word to the wise take detailed photos of the vehicle before, and after you return the vehicle, make sure you get the employees name that accepts the vehicle when you return it as well. I don't plan on paying my deductible to fix a vehicle that I didn't mess up.I'd give 0 stars if that was an option. read more

I would rate this zero stars if possible. The car company was arranging to get me a rental car. I was supposed to be PICKED UP at 11:00 a.m. At 10:45 still not having heard anything, any confirmation, I called Enterpise. First, I went from phone to phone. When I finally got the woman/girl in charge, she acted as if I was bored to talk to me. She didn't have any of my paper work, when she finally found me, it was 10:59 and her notes said it would take 30 minutes to get to me. That is not want I want to hear. I make arrangements based on my schedule and commitments, thank to Enterprise, I now will not be on time. Current time 11:08 and waiting.... FIND A DIFFERENT CAR COMAPANY. THIS IS MY SECOND BAD EXPERIENCE WITH ENTERPRISE, both times my car was in the shop (different shops) but both times were vad experiences. I booked a rental car for a few days as I was flying from San Diego , I used my debit card as I have rented from this location before I did not foresee any issues. Unfortunately when I arrived in San Antonio I received a voicemail about an hour prior stating they noticed I was from San Diego so they wanted to check to make sure I still needed the reservation and I needed to reserve it with a major credit card instead because I no longer live in San Antonio anymore. Mind you this is right when I landed in San Antonio car-less. I call them back and they were unbelievably rude and unprofessional stating I should have read the policy better. So here is and I quote their policy: Policy: At the time of rental, a debit card must be presented with available credit, in the renter's name. In addition to the anticipated cost of the rental, an additional security deposit may be required. To find out the cost of the security deposit, you will need to contact the location directly Interesting, and I understand policies do change, however my complaint is the lack of professionalism and waiting till the last 2 hours before I pick up the car rental to inform me of this. read more

Great service! We were greeted at the door. Our rental checkout was smooth and pretty quick. We even got an upgrade, because our original rental car was not quite ready. Was able easily extend my rental with just a phone call. Took less than 5 minutes for dropoff since I prepaid for the tank of gas. It was a huge bonus and relief not having to worry about the fuel level when returning, and the per gallon cost was cheaper than the gas station! read more

Rented a 15 passenger van. Great van! Customer service was okay. I needed the van at 7:30, which is when they open, but the doors were still locked with the employees inside. They finally let me in, but we did the rental transaction without the lights on...I was told they liked to work in the dark! The van was only 3/4 full; I called to tell them and they apologized for not mentioning that. read more
