2-day rental nightmare; didn't get out parking lot! Chris's a business disease CSR Chris only with the company one month. A barrage of questions and fine tooth combing my application. Chris mentioned insurance I declined twice. Then, Chris frames his demand as a threat, as in, I could not rent without accepting the insurance. Enterprise, Chris must be given proper information and shown the absolute necessary information for rental. In his current status, Chris is a liability NOT an asset to the Enterprise brand. So much so, litigation is real. Not to mention, he itemized my driver's license, very invasive questioning: Do I live AZ?, Do I live in San Antonio?, all the while holding my valid identification with address, city/state and zip code. He wanted address where I was staying, he asked if I staying in a hotel ... Chris in my opinion is unprofessional, lack integrity and empathy. And Chris still is not finish, while outside checking vehicle, Chris, again states he "MUST" explain the insurance and proceeds to go through the entire explanation. I have bags in the car ready to take the keys and he tells me he hasn't ran my credit card. Chris is basically leveraging his threat and bullying antics either take the insurance or else. This rental faux pas was unearthing to say the least. I am on family emergency, My sibling is in ICU and you Chris are playing games. After airline tickets, food, hotel, Lyft, etc ...! I should not had to ensure these divisive insults. With AMEX declined, Chris informs me I have a 24 hr wait before they can run my card again. I am disappointed that Enterprise would unleash Chris onto the public and to be a face within their reputable brand with such lack of business acumen and tactic, along with poor customer service . The Asst Mgr. not sure of her name, she was complicit, useless pretty much. Not even sure if the guys name was Chris nor if she was the Ass't Mgr. Was an hour later than told the lady was rude unprofessional and laughed and said your license s cracked we can't rent to you or anyone associated. Recently had an accident and had to take our vehicle for repairs. The staff were pleasant but the vehicle they gave us was disgusting. As soon as you opened the door to the vehicle this disgusting stench greeted us. Smelled like cat pee and there was hair all over, even in the glove box! We were on a tight schedule when we picked up the vehicle so we couldn't spend time there waiting for another car. We tried to air out the vehicle but no luck. The stench seems eternal. Can't get ahold of anyone at the location we rented from either. I haven't had much negative experience from enterprise but if I were you I wouldn't pick this location to rent from as they don't take care of their vehicles and never answer the phone. The only reason they got a one star was because of the staff pleasantness. read more

Had a pre scheduled pick up for the past week down the street at classic collision. After they got the call it took an hour before a driver gets to me. Once here to pick me up he tells me to wait and he goes inside to get a cup of coffee. NO CALLS WERE MADE TO ME SAYING THEY WOULD BE LATE IF SO I COULDVE BEEN PICKED UP. Never been one to write a review but this wasn't a good experience, I had reserved a midsized car to use for Thanksgiving I got there and they only had 4 options to choose from and just one of them was midsized the other 3 were small suvs the guy who helped said he'd have to upcharge me if I got an suv (which I don't get why would I have to over pay $10 a day because you guys weren't stocked & ready?) So I rent out the only option I had, which ended up being a Volkswagen, I was already annoyed that they only had one option and the guy was trying to upgrade me for their lack. So whatever I take off go into work before my trip, as I'm packing up the car to head out of town I notice the sticker is expired?? How are they going to rent out a expired car?? It was too late in the day for me to do anything so I took the car out of town, as I was coming back thru check point the BP mentioned the expired sticker i mentioned it to him that this was a rental, he told me to be safe because there is a lot of state troops out on the highways because of the Holidays, so here I go anxiety at 98% the whole way back home. When I go to return the car i mention it to the guy and all he offered me was a free upgrade on my next rental The free upgrade he should've gave me from the jump. This wasn't the first time I've had a problem with renting from them, last time I reserved a truck with time and get a call the day of that reservation to be told they did not have the truck I had reserved so ended up having to use a small suv . Had a rental due to accident insurance company set up rental with enterprise on Bandera rd I was asked by enterprise to place 50.00 on card or get their insurance in case of damages. Between enterprise and repair shop estimate of days to use rental was 3 days on 3rd day I was contacted by repair shop informed me car would be ready next day due to need to replace a part unforeseen damage. Car was ready next day and left rental at shop since they work together now enterprise will not refund my 50.00 deposit because they did not get paid for extra day of rental from my insurance company and Geico says it is the shops responsibility since they did not deliver car on stated date disappointing experience with Geico, enterprise rent-a-car and Procare collision Bandera rd. location today received via email of this outstanding balance read more

Worst experience ever in renting a car. Reserved an intermediate suv and got a call a day before confirming rental. Got there at 10 am waited w other people and was told the car is coming from somewhere else took out the car seat from our car and waited for a whole two hours when car offered did not have license plate. Was offered a Ford Escape whose front door creaks loud when open or close. Had to be somewhere else and took it. Called next morning to exchange car but was told do not know how long it would take. Worst customer service I've ever received by far. I made a reservation 3 days in advance to be picked up at a certain time on my lunch break. The driver didn't come until an hour after the scheduled time. When I arrived at the location they didn't have any vehicles to rent and I had to go to another location. Something that should have taken no more than 30 minuets took almost 3 hours. I will never rent through enterprise again! read more

Thank you to Adam Walker and Enterprise for their professional, efficient and courteous service. Had to rent a vehicle from Enterprise last week just for the day when the battery in my car died. I called Enterprise, spoke to Adam and explained my unfortunate predicament and how I needed a rental ASAP to keep a 4:00 pm appointment. Since I live within a 10 miles radius of the nearest Enterprise location I was able to use their "Pick Me Up" service. The shuttle arrived and picked me up from my home by the quoted arrival time and fifteen minutes after arriving at the rental office I had keys in hand and was driving off to my scheduled appointment. The return process next day went even quicker. Pulled up, walked in and was immediately greeted by Adam and his iPad. We walked out to the vehicle, Adam checked the odometer, gave me my total, swiped my credit card and asked if I wanted a printed or emailed receipt. The whole return process took no more than five minutes to complete. This location will always be my first choice when needing a rental. read more

Went to rent an suv and was greatt. Line was short so quick reservation. Only complaint is that i wish i had know they charge refundable deposit. Didn't budget for it. As rental car companies go they are about average. When entering the establishment after being picked up at the body shop where my car was being fixed I had to wait in line as though I just walked off the street. I found it odd considering I just spent 10 - 15 minutes in a car with a driver who spilled terribly of smoke and didn't even say a word to me. Then, once at the counter the guy proceeded to over and over try to convince me that I needed products and services that I didn't desire nor wanted. One time is fine...two times, okay you're a sales person I get it, but geez more time then I can count. Come on guy really! I will keep this in mind the next time I need a car. The car that I received was clean and smelled good. However, they gave me a car with barley a 1/4 of tank of gas in it. So, of course I had to then worry about filling it up before using. Not a fan of that. I understand you get me at the $4.40 a gallon rate if I bring it back and its not exactly where you read it. Anyways, for being a rental car company they are good for...locations, overall service, and reliable cars. I will rent again. read more

This is my go-to rental place because I can walk to it from my house. They used to provide top notch service, but recently things have gone downhill. I reserved a car using the weekend special, but when I went into the office to pick it up, this was the third time they tried to charge me the full price. When I remind them that I ordered the special, they say, "Oh, yeah. You did." This last time I rented the weekend special again knowing there was a 100 mile per day limit. When I turned it in after three days, I saw my trip odometer was at 148 miles. They mailed my receipt and I noticed a $20 overage fee. They decided that I drove exactly 400 miles during the rental. I called and argued but Justin insisted i was wrong. I will still use these guys, but I will be very careful never to trust them again. i suggest you don't trust them either. read more

Unfortunately, 2nd time here in a month but I have to say the best customer service when having to be inconvenienced by car issues. The stafff has gone the extra mile both times calling in advance to confirm my reservation and worked to get me the best vehicle that my insurance would cover (I drive a Tahoe and hate when rental conpanies put you in a small, compact car). First off we had a reservation to pick up a car for a week at 8am, we did not even get someone to talk to us until 9... when we were finally able to talk to an actual person, he begged us to take this minivan instead of the mid sized car we had reserved. Very quickly we discovered why, the back door on the drivers side DID NOT CLOSE, also the van had multiple engine malfunction lights on on the dash. We called immediately to have the van switched out, the lady we spoke to said she had a Jeep Compass we could pick up in the morning, when my wife got there the manager told her that it would be an extra $100 if she took the Jeep, seriously????????????? Also when we took the van, the young man who begged us to it said we could add the insurance for $20, "its just 20 dollars and covers everything, No it was $20 per day for a week!!!!! They put a $471 hold on my card, when we needed the car for and additional week they put another $203 on the card when we turned in the car, yes car because we were not going to pay more for a vehicle we didn't even want or ask for but were offered!!! When we turned in the car they charged ANOTHER $617.98 to my card for a total of $1292 are you freaking serious????????????? This is a horrible location! I was in a vehicle accident and was picking up a rental. It took over an hour till I was acknowledged, there were at least 5 other customers in the store and only two associates. The associate that helped me was Piper Lee. He did the walk thru of the vehicle with me and kept rushing thru the entire process. Once we got to the signing of the rental agreement he told me to initial here and sign here without explaining anything. I asked him about the insurance and handed him a copy of my insurance and he said he didn't need it because he was sure that the coverage would roll over on to the rental and that if I wanted additional coverage that I should wait to see how long I am with the vehicle before paying for their insurance options. I had the vehicle for 16 days and within those 16 days, Piper Lee contacted me by phone to ask how I was liking the rental. Less than 5 minutes after hanging up, I received a friend request on my personal Facebook account from Piper Lee. It was so creepy, I had no idea what to do. Once I turned the vehicle in, I found out that Piper Lee was actually a manager in training! I called the Corporate office and reported the situation and a few days later a regional manager contacted me and told me that they had reprimanded Piper Lee for his actions and for violating my privacy. A few days later I had a charge from them on my credit card that was apparently for a damage waiver and roadside assistance that I signed off on! I was never told nor did Piper explain anything on the rental agreement the day I rented the vehicle and on top of that, the associate I turned the keys into never mentioned any charges, he just sent me on my way. Now I'm dealing back and forth between Enterprise and my credit card company for the charges. Do not go to this location! read more

GO ELSEWHERE- save yourself the headache. I was rear ended and the insurance company had me go to this enterprise location for my rental while my car was being repaired- biggest NIGHTMARE EVER- car rentals should not be this complicated. Travis was great- he was the original rep I had but a few days into my car rental I received a call to go exchange the vehicle for a larger mid size sedan because they were supposed to provide me with a car that was same size as mine but because they didn't have any at the time they had provided me with a smaller compact VW beetle. Unfortunately, my rental took place about 2 weeks after the hail storms had hit and Travis did not document the 3 small hail dents that were on the VW beetle originally so when I returned the vehicle, a very rude rep- Lamiya- assisted me and began agressively telling me to pay up for the hail damage. I argued that I did not have the car during any hail storms (i had only had it 4 days on top of that and there weren't even any dry rain marks on the car, it was still very clean) and she walked away into the store and called to file a claim against me for which she made up a date and time for and informed me of after the fact- i declined signing anything that would show i accept responsibility for her bogus claim against me. I ended up going back to deal with Travis for obtaining the mid size car instead after going through that headache and again he was much friendlier and the opposite of Lamiya. Four months have passed and i received a letter out of the blue asking me to pay Enterprise $2350 for hail damage that went from 3 dents to several more (mind you they had the car in their possession since 05.26 and didn't have it evaluated until 06.03 which was 1 day after an actual hail storm took place on 06.02 and their cars are not kept covered so new hail damage occurred and they are trying to gain their profit off of me so they don't lose out). I now have a new issue to address with this company and will fight it all the way even if i need to get an attorney- i have hourly weather reports for the days i had the first vehicle which show no hail in addition to pics of the vehicle itself from the moment I drove it off their lot where you can see the dents. I suppose if it wasn't for the crappy experience I had with Lamiya, I would have given better ratings for Travis. However, I now have this awful complicated situation to deal with all because some other careless driver rear ended me and i needed a rental car temporarily which unfortunately led me here. If I were actually responsible for the damage then I would file it through my insurance to pay however, i know that this is definitely not my responsibility and i will not be taken advantage of and Lamiya needs to learn customer service etiquette. read more
