First, the technician stated they only had about six vehicles on the lot for rent, even though there were many cars sitting on the lot. Secondly, He said most of those cars were for sale. Third, since I did not pre-arrange a rental, they only had one vehicle left on the lot for rent. Those cars rented for about $55 a day, but I saw on the internet, a panel truck rents for $117 a week, but I was told there were no panel trucks available. Next, I was given a 2026 VW TAOS. After receiving the vehicle, I was not given instructions on how to operate anything inside the car. Then, before I drove off the lot, I asked the technician, "How do I adjust the seat"? He showed me how to adjust the seat and I departed from the lot. After driving a little while, I could not see out of the side mirrors and I stopped at another Enterprise office and was given instructions on how to operate the mirrors. Finally, it was time to fill the gas tank! I had no clue! I looked on the leftside, a little by the door side, on the side where most gas levers are located, but unfortunately there was no gas lever. I panicked. I stopped at an HEB grocery store gas station and I had to ask a strange man to help me locate the gas tank lever. He didn't know where it was either, but he said unlock the vehicle and he pushed on the gas tank door and it opened. And lastly, the front passenger door was broken and would not open from the inside. My passenger pressed the unlock/lock button and the passenger door still would not open. I had to get out of the drivers seat, go around the car and open the passenger door. I was not informed the passenger door was broken. RECOMMENDATION: The technicians need to ask the drivers if they know where the most important functions of the inside are to operate the vehicle, such as seat adjustment, mirror adjustments, radio function if you want to connect your phone to use the navigation system and allow hands free phone calls and above all, the gas tank operation!!!

I had an extremely frustrating and concerning experience with multiple Enterprise Rental Car…read morelocations. I was initially given an economy vehicle, which I understand is part of my rental agreement. However, the condition of the car made me feel unsafe. Every time I braked, there was a loud noise, and the vehicle felt slippery on wet roads, as if the tires were not reliable. Because of these safety concerns, I contacted three different Enterprise locations trying to find a replacement vehicle that met my rental agreement and felt safe to drive. None of the locations had a suitable car available, and I felt that my concerns were not being taken seriously. Customer service ultimately redirected me to a location I had already contacted. When I arrived at that location, they prepared a replacement vehicle, but the check engine light was on, so I was asked to wait for another car. When the next vehicle arrived, the low tire pressure warning light was on, and the car was nearly out of gas with only two miles to empty. Despite pointing this out, I was still given the vehicle. By this point, I was exhausted and just trying to safely pick up my daughter from school and get home. What should have been a simple rental exchange turned into hours of frustration across multiple locations. This experience raises serious concerns about vehicle safety, maintenance standards, and customer service consistency. I hope Enterprise addresses these issues, as no customer should feel unsafe or dismissed, especially when transporting family.

Gave her a hard time, told her there was a $200 deposit (which nowhere did it say when i booked the reservation). Then would not take my payment over the phone even after I put my credit card on file online. When it was all said and done, Hertz basically left my wife and 2 kids basically stranded they would not process her "Visa" credit card for payment bc it had a Visa logo and they had to run a credit check. They basically gave my wife the runaround and gave her a hard time because she was upset that she had to wait over an hour. He went outside and 20 min later I go outside to switch rental providers as I was beyond annoyed already and I see him driving up with Food. He literally went to go get food as we all waited. An hour and a half later I finally got a car through enterprise.

Nope! Weeks later they send you threatening letters about hail damage (during sunny weather?) , despite not having any check-in inspection forms, pictures, etc. They likely are dinging people's insurance for deductibles to pay off their older cars before they sell them. This is criminal activity directed specifically by the management. It's also common nationally for this company.

I guess maybe because I was there so early, there was no one else there, but he helped me very quickly and had me with the keys in ~20 mins. Was happy with the car as well. It was actually larger than what I rented, but he didn't charge me for the upgraded size. They have cars parked on the left side of the building. The counter where we picked up our rental car was slow and there were three separate lines that went to the same counter. This ended up causing a lot of confusion and frustration.
