I don't know who everyone else has been dealing with but Pete was great to work with. I showed up a day early (my mistake) and he let me rent a car for that night as long as I returned it early the next morning. This saved my party multiple Uber trips (limited) and bus rides (limited to where we were staying). Since we didn't have a reservation we had to wait a bit for another customer but he was very pleasant about the whole thing and worked with me to accommodate our request. The next day I picked up a new car which worked great for our party of five and all our ski gear. We made a day trip and had no issues with the car. It was safe to drive in the snow and I felt comfortable knowing it had snow tires. Pete has a lot going on with his businesses. He repairs phones, rents cars, and does property management. If you're not an a@@ I'm sure you'll be treated well. Another plus is he's right off the bus line which goes directly into town so it's easy to drop off your car and get to a shuttle. I will definitely book with him again versus a larger car rental if we head back. His prices and convenience definitely were preferable to a larger rental agency.

When we called the Alamo national phone number to change our reservation from Aspen to Eagle, they quoted us $123 for two days, with return to Aspen. We got to Alamo Eagle, and they had to search for the reservation. They found it, and quoted $123, plus booster seat rental. Leaving, quoted price was over $1200, but only my wife heard the guy say that, and she thought she may have heard it wrong. We left in a nice Nissan Rogue. While were driving away, the guy from Alamo Eagle called us back. After a couple of tries to get a good cell signal, he explained the situation. He had been out of one-way rentals, so the one-way surcharge rang up as $1000. He adjusted it to $250, the standard one-way fee, because the phone reservation had granted the reservation. That's not as good as waiving the one-way fee entirely, but it's certainly better than $1200. And calling us after we had left was definitely solid customer service. The car worked well. Drop-off in Aspen was no hassle, but nothing to do with this location. By the standards of car rentals in general (and in particular an incident on Kauai where we ended up in arbitration to remove unauthorized charges), this was pretty much as good as it gets. I think they earned a five star "as good as it gets".

Loved that they had uncrustables in the pastry box. The room was spacious, with a kitchenette, medium sized fridge, wine opener, bottle opener, plates, cups, eating utensils, a baking pan, basic utensils & pots/pans for simple cooking & baking. It was nice to make & enjoy a quick warm meal in the comfort of your room after a day of skiing/snowboarding. There is a City Market grocery store (Kroger family store) less than 5 minutes away drive, past traffic lights. There are many stores & restaurants within 5-minute drive. The fridge was spacious and we were able to stock up on fresh and nutritious bites at the nearby city market. Breakfast buffet was awesome and available for a few hours. While I usually opted for the oatmeal and fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs they offered so much more. DIY breakfast burritos with sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese and various salsas. Not to mention toast, bagels, cereals, yogurt, coffee, juice, tea, etc. With your key card/digital access card you can enjoy their gym. Sparkling and clean with various cardio and weight equipment. I went down very early in the morning and someone was already there getting their sweat on. The hotel also has wheel chairs for use on site. Super helpful to get someone in the elevator and back up to the room after surgery. Overall great stay & interactions with staff who went above and beyond to make sure we're were comfortable and had everything we needed. The free parking across the street is convenient, and the smores each day from 5pm to 7pm are a lovely touch. There is a restaurant on site, Kucu Bistro, which offers Southwestern cuisine. The atmosphere is pleasant, and if we didn't stay there for dinner, we enjoyed our drinks the bar. This boutique hotel is a great option for us when skiing in the area, and we plan on going back next time!

Best Customer Service in the Industry After having my car engine overheat on the way to the mountain which required me to leave my car in Silverthorne over the weekend, I rented from Enterprise Rent-a-Car while it underwent repair. Kendall Farrah greeted me with a smile and assured me Enterprise Rent-A-Car would meet my needs in the most effective and efficient way possible while my car underwent repair. Additionally, she went out of her way to provide recommendations and locating local tow shops that might be able to get my car back home if I thought that might be the best option. Furthermore, she encouraged me to try to get my insurance to cover the cost and helped with identifying locations and possible alternatives to get home as efficiently as possible. After my phone started to die, she allowed me to use her personal charger to stay on the line with my insurance company to try to work out the situation. Despite being on the phone for over thirty minutes and many apologies to her for taking a lot of her time, she assured me that it was not an issue and that she would help however she could. The staff that was completing maintenance on vehicles and the additional employees that were working inside the office all greeted me enthusiastically and showed a genuine eagerness to help. Upon returning the car, I was greeted with the same enthusiasm and help as when I arrived. The gentlemen (short dirty blonde hair and beard) was extremely courteous and helped me with everything in addition to providing a ride to pick up my car from the local repair shop. The entire staff truly embodies the social, cultural, and intellectual capacity of a customer oriented and professional staff that will maximize future successes and business for Enterprise. During the summer of 2017 I've rented a car five times from this location and the experience was by far the best I've had at small rental locations like this. (So good that it actually made me create a Yelp account and write this review.) Sure, there are few negative reviews saying the location didn't have cars even when the customer had online reservation and that "Enterprise does not honor your reservation", which has happened to me once as well, on a very busy mid-July Saturday. However I got a call a day before saying that the chance of them not having a car is high, so I ended up cancelling the reservation (and they did have the car in the end anyway). I worked in hospitality in Keystone and I know that the whole area takes in tens if not hundreds of people every weekend (during the high summer season), many of which arrive by shuttle from Denver airport. And from talking with these people I know for a fact that they also want to rent a car and go explore around, so I fully understand that sometimes there is simply not enough cars. Anyway, I personally have always got the car of the class I needed and the cars were always nice and clean, and I also got some nice cars through the 'You Click We Pick', so I can't recommend this company and this location enough. The branch is also conveniently located 3 minute walk from a free shuttle bus stop that goes all around the area which is nice for returning the car after hours and still being able to get back to Keystone even late at night. I was in a tough situation when I had to look into options for a rental vehicle and figure out a temporary solution to get to work. I went to Enterprise and they were able to give me the lowest rate possible. At the Silverthorne location the employees and manager were always very polite and professional. My nightmare of a situation lasted for 2 painful months. Renting a vehicle to save money only to try and save money to purchase a new vehicle while paying for rent and other bills was not an easy task. Enterprise actually made it enjoyable and the manager Eric had incredible advice that helped me out along the way. The most relieving part was that during the last hour of having the rental car my biggest fear of someone running into the car and getting into a wreck happened. I thought my life was over and thst I would be in debt for the next 5 years but Eric fought for my rights and that it was the other persons fault so they had to cover everything. I turned the car back in without turning in my finacial savings in with it... Based off the experience I had with Eric and the Silverthorne location I would not only go back but also recommend to friends and family as well... thanks Enterprise! read more

Brenden both picked me up and dropped me off when i was done, even though they were very busy. He was working alone on Sat, but said he could give me a ride after they closed at noon. A distressed person with kids pulled in as we were leaving at 12:05, and he could have easily told her they were closed. Instead, he asked me if it was ok if he rented a car to the stranded person (after hours), and then gave me a ride back. Talk about courteous! He really went out of his way to ensure the best service. Really nice people, good rates, no hidden fees or anything. He told me what it would cost when I took it out, and that is exactly what he charged. I will use them again! read more

Unfortunately, we had made an honest mistake and accidentally booked it for the following week--when we would no longer be in town. We immediately contacted the business while we were at the location, explained the situation, and asked about a refund or reschedule. We were told we could receive a refund minus a 7.5% fee--roughly $30--for "processing." When we kindly asked for a full refund, the staff member not only refused but claimed that because she had to be on the phone and "click a button," we had now cost the business money. She stood firm that no matter the situation, a 100% refund would not be given. It's one thing to have a policy. It's another to treat a customer's good faith mistake with zero flexibility and then blame the cost of customer service on them. We didn't use any equipment, take anyone else's spot, or cancel last minute--we simply misread the date and immediately tried to make it right. $30 is a small amount, but it speaks volumes about how this company handles honest errors. We will absolutely book with another adventure company next time we're in Winter Park--one that values people over rigid policy and doesn't treat a polite refund request like an inconvenience.
