I appreciated them picking me up from the collision center at Kia Slidell. The driver was very nice. The representative who checked he in was very nice, but when it got to the cars they had I was very disappointed. The cars were dirty inside and out. I went through a cars before I was able to get one that was halfway decent. The car was dirty as the others, but at that time I was very tired, so I took the car. I had to detail the car, it smelled, there was cat hair in the back seats, and the windows were dirty inside and out. I was very disappointed because I've rented cars from Enterprise before at other locations, have never had this problem before. they made it pretty simple to rent from, and on the day to return the car i wasn't going to make it back til after they were closed after calling they did not make me pay for an extra day they kindly told me where and how to return the car. i extremely appreciate this considering when looking at their address on apple maps it says they wont accept cars after they close. everything has been smooth so far now i am just waiting for my deposit to be returned if i receive that will no complications i will be changing this from a 4 star review to a 5. Upon returning my rental to enterprise, they told me I could have kept it two more days, but I really didn't need it. While I was waiting a few minutes (about 8) for my husband to pick me up, they said they needed to start cleaning my rental and made me empty all of my luggage and conference materials out of my rental. Could this not have waited 10 minutes so my stuff didn't have to sit on the floor of enterprise? read more

Renting in Slidell, LA before an event weekend in New Orleans, I waited around 45 minutes for a car. It was a no-charge upgrade to a larger vehicle because they didn't not have the one I had specified a few months back when we made a reservation. No problems with the car itself and it made our visit to the area much more enjoyable. One comment on the two keys that were wired together -- nobody had cutters that could separate the keys so I had to carry both of them around with me. Where is the 0 star option? The ABSOLUTE WORST IVE EVER EXPERIENCED AT THIS ENTERPRISE. I've been renting at this enterprise since 2009 (some of them new workers were problems still in high school) and I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM with a rental car until recently. RENTERS..Be careful when renting from this place, take plenty of pictures and make sure you DOCUMENT any problems with the car you're renting. The workers don't take pictures of the car for a REASON. It's your word against theirs. KEEP a paper trail to be ready to bring your claim to small claims court for SUIT if need be. This enterprise made false claims stating I damaged a car I INITIALLY COMPLAINED ABOUT. WHEN I STOOD UP FOR MYSELF, I was labeled the bad person (not that I cared). This was a clear example of a VICTIM STANDING UP FOR THEMSELF AGAINST A BULLY and when the VICTIM STRIKE BACK...THE VICTIM IS then LABLED as THE BAD PERSON. The ASST MANAGER BRITTANY HEATH never took the initiative to investigate because if she would have....she would have known, I WAS THE COMPLAINER. The Area Manager Melissa, was unconcerned about her employees let along the customer. Asst Manager, Maggie Oalman seemed concerned up until the end and then she finally grew some COURAGE. This place has gone down to the DUMPS and I could not be any happier TO NOT be able to GO BACK. Worst experience ever! Firstly, I called two days in advance to reserve a full size truck. When I got there nothing like it was available. Second, when I recieved the vehicle it was at half a tank of gas and expecting to keep the vehicle longer I filled it up. Then the collision center that was repairing my full size truck called me several days early and when I returned the rental they refused to credit my credit card for the almost full tank. Thirdly, about two hours after returning it I realized I forgot my blanket that I take to dialysis with me in the back seat. After speaking to three employees and being on hold 25 minutes they tell me they don't have it! Now I'm stuck out what I wanted to drive, almost a half a tank of extra gas and my blanket. BEST CAR RENTAL PLACE I'VE EVER USED. I rented a car a few weeks ago to drive to pick something up a few hours away. After I picked up the car and began heading to my destination, I was told that my item wasn't ready. I called Enterprise and they allowed me to return the car free of charge. I picked up another car the next day, no problems. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. They made it feel like they actually wanted my business. Although I always rent from Enterprise, I was sorely disappointed with this rental. My husband arrived to pick up his car, which I had reserved 1 week ahead of time, only to discover it had a cracked windshield! He could either leave in that car or not leave at all. He chose to leave & had a miserable 900 mile drive to his destination. He did swap the car when he reached his destination & upon my complaint was awarded a discount upon his return but a cracked windshield? We rent several times a year from this location. Last week I thought I had reserved a car for an Atlanta trip. When I arrived they had no record, however employee Angela had me in a car and out the door is under 15 min. I called corporate and extolled her virtues. Returning the car was a bit different. After dropping the car off a day early, I was called and informed that they had found "Pet hair" in the car and I was being charged for a "professional detailing" for said car, due to their NO PET policy. Yes I did pick up my Chihuahua from the doggy day care on the way into Slidell. Hmmmm couldn't find this policy in my contract. I offered to go have car detailed but they wouldn't let me drive said car unless I rented it again. Ok, rather than argue with a closed minded employee, (where is Angela when I need her), I opted to just leave and call the same corporate number I was given to extol Angela's awesome help. That was the ticket, regional corporate returned my call, I explained my situation. They were very understanding, said the no pet policy should have been explained upon rental and was no it was not included in the contract I was given. They immediately refunded my "professional detailing" charge. They also apologized for the rude behavior of "M" (and this isn't Morgan) stating they would have a conversation with him concerning his lack of home training. We already dad a reservation but when brought the vehicle out and getting ready to sign, I guess he noticed my face (while wearing a mask) lol but I was concerned about how small the vehicle was because we were driving my daughter to college and her stuff needed to be stored in the back of the car. I've never had a problem with my reservations or the actual rental cars, and I've been more than pleased with the pricing. Want to publicly thank my Slidell, La. Enterprise Car Rental location. Great service guys, you actually listened to me when I wrote you about an inconvenience We had with a rental car 6 months ago. We again rented a car 3 weeks ago and again got great service even though my insurance policy couldn't be found by MY insurance companies corporate office! After a 30 minute wait the policy number was found by a different national agent. This was no fault of anyone at Enterprise yet they gave me a free upgrade to an SUV that was a joy to drive for 8 days! I will continue to rent from Enterprise in Slidell every 3 months for a week long trip to see my wife's doctor in Austin, Texas (averaging 1250 mile round trip). I understand not having a car for me on short notice without a reservation. It's a small lot, with only a few cars. What I don't understand is the unhelpful attitude of the young woman behind the counter. She was polite, but she knew nothing and wasn't willing to make a phone call to see if the Slidell store had anything available. She even went so far as to say that even if they did, they couldn't take me, which is absurd as that's one of Enterprise's mottos. After I found a ride home (which still didn't take care of my issues for the next few days), I overheard the other clerk telling someone that cars are coming back in shortly, and he could get one of those if he wanted to come back. That would have helpful information to have before I called for a ride from over an hour away. But like I said ... every question I asked was answered with "I don't know", without even an offer to check the computer. read more

So i went to pick up a car for a week for a concert in Houston. The lady informed me all they had was a nissan so i said i can not be in a nissan they have the most uncomfortable seats and i just traded one in i had and that i have a bad back and the nissan i couldnt do the seats make me hurt more. She is like this is a newer 2017 and the seats were upgraded since your 2014. She insisted i rent the car and i would see and be extremely happy. I was to the point of leaving. So she like promised me i would be happy and the seats are very comfortable. Well needless to say the seats were the same as my 2014 i had. My back killed me the whole trip there and back. So i turned it in after the weekend and tried to explain to the guy why and what happened he didnt want to hear it. He wanted to get my money for the 3 days and get me out of there. Very disappointed with this experience. Never had an issue before or been lied to. I probably will use their competitor next time.
