The lines move fast and usually I get through security in under 10 minutes. 2) Flight delays/cancellations: Compared to most other airports, MSY does a great job at keeping things on schedule. 3) Easily navigated. Three concourses are right there past securty checkpoint so you will never get lost or confused at MSY. Baggage claim, parking garages, and ticket counters are all easy to get to from anywhere in the airport. 4) Lots of food options and local shops to choose from if you want to spend money. Cafe Du Monde is there! 5) Cleanliness: Always someone cleaning and/or picking up what lazy customers drop and don't pick up. Everything here looks clean, I mean, really clean. The ladies restrooms, clean. I even felt safe changing my baby on the changing table in the bathroom. 6) Catch an Uber/Lyft or any share ride right outside the door. I have a favorite there, too. He helped us load and unload all of our items on our trip to our resort. We had a very pleasant and wonderful visit to NOLA for the week we spent there.

Air Traffic Controllers were great at this airport. The Main Terminal Administrator, Elyria was so nice! She invited us in her office and gave us a whole history of the airport and the city of Hammond. She recommended a great restaurant to us and provided us with first class transportation service to and from different parts of the airport and into the town of Hammond. We were introduced to the CEO of Top Gun Aviation on-site. I'll do another Review for Top Gun Aviation. Fuel prices were good here as well. Overall, great experience. We'll be back!

Although I have been here many times for work, I have never flown from this airport. However, the facilities are nice and the employees with whom I have had contact were all very professional and courteous. It's also a great venue for the annual airshow.

So I had not a great trip here to these parts and now I am sitting here...online...talking to my beloved Barbara...and she is consoling me. Great friends! Let's rewind a couple days. It was Christmas eve.... I had a tough situation and decided it was time to come home to LA...so my awesome friend Karisha and I drove from Pensacola, Florida to this airport. I missed my flight by 30 minutes. And had to turn around and head back to Pensacola. Sad. The ticket agent was like, "Why didn't you call first?" I said, "Why? The airport has done an amazing renovation over the past two years and it's so nice. The terminal area has some nice, clean, bright shops to invite the traveler to the area. The waiting area is also extremely bright. The waiting area is also lined with rockers for family members and friends looking to relax for the wait. Its renovations have made it a comfortable, regional airport to travel through.

I had the recent opportunity to be invited by a pilot friend to a "fly-in" and was able to check out the facility and meet several general aviation pilots from the region. As my review is based on my one and only visit, I was not familiar with the airport layout. As per their website, this airport "complex" is home to "33 private hangar facilities, 33 private hangar facilities, the National Weather Service Station, St. Tammany Parish Mosquito Abatement District #2 flying operations, and Skydive N'Awlins. The Airport also supports two aviation organizations: the Experimental Aircraft Association and the Civil Air Patrol." The facilities are nice and the employees with whom I have had contact courteously greeted me upon walking through the front door. Not only did my son and I get to meet several pilots, we were also able to walk out to the "apron" and check out the general aviation planes that flew in for the day. We also got to check out the continuous parachute jumpers landing at the airport. This is a really cool facility and I plan on a return tip in the very near future.

At least your suitcase would end up where you were traveling to and not back home even after filing a claim with all the right information. I left LAX with a connecting through Denver. Every flight was delayed. My suitcase from Denver did not make it to Mobile, AL. I filled out a claim form and gave them my number, email address, and hotel address. I was informed my suitcase would not arrive until Wed because no other flights were coming from Denver again until Wed. I received no call so I called yesterday (tues) and customer service informed me my suitcase was being shipped back to CA because they had no other shopping information. And my flight is to AL, what do you mean you don't have any information? It's on my reservation! What happened to the claim I filled out at the Mobile Downtown airport?! I called Frontier customer service and the agent Jenelyn Paglinawan gave me the FedEx tracking number to change the address. I called FedEx and they said only the shipper can do that. Then Jenelyn said I should call Mobile Downtown front desk. The front desk told me they couldn't do anything because the bag is in Denver and that I should call Denver. I call Denver and no one picks up. I call customer service again and ask to speak to the manager. It's Jenelyn again. Instead of routing me to a manager as requested she tells me the address has been corrected and my bag should arrive in AL at 10:30am today (wed). I get an incident report via email. 190723-001059 So yesterday (tues night) I go on the FedEx website. My bag is STILL going home to CA by 10:30am not AL where I will be until Friday. Well played Jenelyn, well played. Frontier, what are you going to do about your employees in Mobile, AL Denver and Jenelyn the customer service rep? It's 90 degrees here with 80% humidity. It's Wed and I am still in the clothes I arrived in on Monday. If you can't handle your bags you might as well let us carry on without a fee or allow us to carry on period. It's what I always do until I was forced to fly with you to Mobile, AL. Oh it gets better, the ladies at Frontier at this airport tells me I will be reimbursed up to $100 for feminine toiletries. Um, you lost my suitcase WITH MY CLOTHES IN IT. And now it's getting shipped home where I AM NOT. Comedy Central, I hope you are reading this review. Worst airline EVER !!…read more Me and 3 others were supposed to fly out of New Orleans march 16th at 5:10am .. We got there at 2am ... they didn't open their ticket counter / baggage counter till 3:45am Not only that but they admitted they were short staffed and had all 5 lines converge into a single line in the middle which made it take 3x longer to get our bags dropped and get to TSA . Also I had pre requested wheel chair help because I was injured and couldn't walk at the time . The clerk at the counter told me . And this is an exact quote " sorry where short staffed today , we have too many call out s , your gonna have to deal with it your self " which they legally have to provide wheel chair assistance .. Well long story short we didn't get to the ticket counter because of their short staffing till right before 5am ... then through tsa and the flight had already taken off .. Their best option was to rebook us on another flight. The next day in the afternoon and we wouldn't arrive till almost midnight ... over 32 hours AFTER we were supposed to already be there ... this would leave just 1 full day for our small vacation so we said no thank you .. give us our refund because that is not acceptable .. But it was their short staffing that caused this issue in the first place . So I emailed them and requested they cover the cost of our non refundable Airbnb because this was caused by what the even consider Controllable issues . They could have atleast offered what they give to those who need to be bumped to another flight considering this was their fault . Which is $2150 per person . But they basically told us to deal with it and accept that they ain't doing jack sh*t for us , they are the absolute worst Not to mention the wheelchair assistance issue . My suggestion is to NEVER fly Southwest Airlines,.. they are terrible and have garbage customer service !!!!
