The best rental experience ive ever had. Particularly with Zach from this enterprise in plainville. I called ahead to request a vehicle and was in and out of the building within 5 minutes. I had to change vehicles half way through my process and I was into another vehicle within 3-4 minutes. And upon return of that vehicle, i was in and out within 3 minutes. Let me start off by saying what a mistake I made renting a car from enterprise, let alone this location. I should have known from the time the "manager" came out of his office to "let me know" that they don't rent "luxury to customers who use a debit card" so pick any car expect the "luxury" in front of customers and employees. As if my money wasn't money enough. okay. let it slide. I leave the location, immediately the tire pressure sensor comes on. wildly hot that day maybe it was triggered by something, even though it was a 2025 with 24k should have ZERO issues. nope. they overinflated the tires. All of them. Almost had an accident because of it. The manager then proceeds to call me at the very of the day and ask me "do you want the car back" several times. Not are you okay, sorry for the inconvenience, just if I want the car and how I overinflated the tires. I never touched them. Now I've been calling for 2 days about this issue WITH NO RESOLUTION OR RESPONSE. Telling me that two days is to short of time because of my region. Still haven't returned my money for the two days they had it back before my reservation was done. NEVER EVER AGAIN. the manager at the store, the absolute worst. Enterprise, your lack of communication and consideration is wild. The fact that not one person could make contact without me making it first should be addressed. As a whole. Do better. read more

-10 I am so great full that I was treated like complete garbage by a manager today . I rented a car for less than 24 hours and let me first say I have a sinus infection so I can't really smell. I never attempted to sit in back seat or even opened the back doors .When I went to return the vehicle the manager let me leave so I assumed I was all set and I can leave . Oh boy was I wrong , instead he charged me a 300 hundred dollar cleaning fee and he claimed there was poop in the back seat . First off how disgusting that I was rented a car that had poop In The back seat. I am disgusted and disappointed that enterprise even allowed me to rent this vehicle with this in it. I called enterprise multiple times and tried to settle this situation with the manger instead he told me to come clean the back seat , I told him no bc this is not my issue nor should he let this car leave the lot with feces In the back seat. Luckily me he hung up on me twice.I am beyond livid and I hope enterprise records these conversations.moral of this story is do not rent cars from Southington enterprise and certainly don't expect Andres (the manager) to help with any issue. He will basically blame you and say tough luck . I'm concerned for my health after entering that vehicle, I will be going to my doctor and talking to a lawyer. So very unaccommodating! They would refuse to hold a car for me if I didn't give them an exact time of arrival! I was asking for a window of a few hours to pick up the car! Evidently even though you are paying for the car for the day you pick it up they are unable to provide a vehicle unless you have a exact time!! Bs doesn't even make sense! My wife and I were traveling from Boston to New Jersey for a wedding and stopped in Southington for lunch where our car died. Fortunately there was an Enterprise in Southington and Nick did a great job of immediately getting us a rental for the weekend so we could make our wedding. The car was fixed upon our return and Nick called me back the next day to make sure we were happy with the car and service. We were. Great service and very knowledgeable and personable staff. In a nutshell, we found Magda to be very rude. We had a rental with a cracked windshield. After dealing with our responsibility for the cracked windshield, we asked for another rental because the windshield couldn't be repaired for another day. We were uncomfortable driving the current one. Magda said there were no options since the rental inventory was low. While Magda was on the phone dealing with the cracked windshield situation, I chatted with Sydney, another employee, and asked HER about my options. she quickly found us another rental at another Enterprise in a nearby town. At least she was able to make an unpleasant situation a little bit better. So if you go to this Enterprise, ask for Sydney. read more

DONT BOTHER THEY ARE TO LAZY TO RENT YOU A CAR! I would give them ZERO stars if I could. I called an hour. White they closed to be picked up to rent from their location. The women in the other end was. Toning bit rude telling me they stop with pick ups and rentals 1 hour before the actually time they close. I has been a member and an outstanding customer for many many tetras and have never been told no an hour prior to closing. Then I asked if there was someone else I could speak with and the young women hung up the line with me just after she started to get vocally upset with me. Enterprise. I went to this Enterprise office to trade a car I rented in Maine but had a persistent slow leak in a rear tire. The people in this office made it obvious that they did not want to go through the trouble of making the change. They were unhelpful and arrogant. I would avoid this office if your interested in service. read more

After booking a reservation earlier in the day; I called back to let them know I'll be in at 8:00 am as that is when I can be dropped off, and was told by the lady on the phone they cant help me until 8:30am, that's when their first reservation is. I said but your store openes up at 8. It takes 30 minutes for your store to get set up for the day, then advertise you open at 8:30am, not 8am. And it should only take a few minutes to get into a vehicle and be on my way. read more

I never thought I would write a review of a car rental place, but these guys are so great, I had to. Honestly, this is the best place I have ever rented a car from. The staff I dealt with were unbelievably friendly and helpful and the process was super quick. I was given an upgraded car because they happened to have it. I had a small issue that I did not report until I turned the car in at a different location and these guys called me to follow up and ended up taking money off my bill for me and apologized for any inconvenience it may have caused. I would absolutely rent from this location again and for once not dread the process as I do with most places. read more

Unfortunately, did not have a good experience with this branch. Me and my friend tried to rent the car from Southington on 8/08 and we were planning to go to SD for a road trip. Since I did not have a major credit card, I could not rent the car. So, for the first time in my life I faced the 'issue' -money was not wanted from my debit/credit card! Especially in the USA. The gentleman, who worked that morning, even did not tried to help and was annoyed by my problem. Thank you to HERTZ company -they rented me a car in a heartbeat, checked my card, took the money and I was on my way to SD. Amazing trip! Horrible experience with Enterprise. Top Notch...I'm very happy with this location. I had to bring my car to an auto body shop and they took care of dealing with my insurance (shout out to Geico too!) and the auto body shop.
