Cute building, large space to accommodate groups and somewhat attentive staff. They were quick to get us seated and ask for apps but being new to the place we asked for recommendations before ordering--then they didn't come back. Took us a while to get that going despite being the only people in the restaurant at the time. None the less once we got going the food was hot and good. French onion soup bombs were interesting-- mostly mushroom with cheese on top which was good but maybe not what we were expecting from the name. I didn't have the dumplings or guac but the team liked. Chicken wings were standard but lots of sauce choices. Burger was great but somewhat inconsistent since we got a few and there were varying levels of size, presentation, etc. about half the table got the special, lobster roll which sounded great. Lobster, melted butter signaling it would be warm so when it was cold that was surprising and a bit disappointing. Lots of meat but also lots of celery. Bun was soft but very lightly dressed so not sure where the butter was. Fries, onion rings, and side salad were solid! read more

Service is good - people are nice and patient. We were the only ones dining in the whole restaurant (weekday lunchtime). This place may be more crowded for night/bar scene as the bar is centrally located. Food - most of the food was on the salty side Wings - never had a lemon-pepper rub so that's what I went with. This was better alone than with a sauce, so definitely recommend ordering sauce on the side like we did. The buffalo (runniest sauce) and sweet chili taste as you expect. Can't remember the garlic parmesan, so not discussing it here. I didn't even recognize the "Thai Peanut" as being thai peanut sauce when eating either. Most of the sauces may taste better with the salt & vinegar rub...the lemon salt flavor overpowers the sauces, but I enjoyed the lemon flavor on its own. VERY crispy! French Onion "Soup" Bombs - interesting menu item so we had to order. Funnily enough it's on an escargot dish (it looks like "meatballs" while the meatballs look like french onion soup, presentation-wise). I liked the idea and the crunchiness of these, but was definitely missing the onion-y ness of a French onion soup. Otherwise it was fun to try. Barcelona Shrimp - not much garlic flavor despite being in garlic oil. Not sure if we're supposed to sop up the oil with the bread or if there should be some shrimp sauce too? Not Your Nonna's Meat Balls - the meatballs inside were dry - but if you cut it up and get the sauce all over it, it's much tastier. Luckily this had a good vodka sauce that actually tasted better than the vodka sauce used in the next dish. The melted mozzarella was tough to eat though -- pretty solid chunk and needed a knife to cut through to eat it with the bread, sauce and meat ball in one bite. Rigatoni Burrata Alla Grappa - fun to try. Friend ordered because of the hot honey. Think the top picks of the meal were the wings (no sauce) and meatballs (only with the vodka sauce, not alone). They haven't opened there new location but everything must be shut down on the old location. Phones don't work, website doesn't work either. What a way to run a business. Amazing food, amazing ambiance, amazing staff. I'd like to say I usually never write reviews unless the experience was wonderful, and this was exactly that. Came here for a Sunday date night and was not disappointed. The restaurant didn't seem too busy, so it was nice and relaxing for us. The drink menu says "mocktails to craft" and I was hooked; I asked the waiter (probably owner) what he recommended to which he told me about the various mocktails he could make as he has a nonalcoholic agave tequila in house. With that, I was given a spicy cucumber margarita mocktail and it was delicious. As someone who tries not to drink alcohol, this option was amazing. For starters, my boyfriend and I got the salt and vinegar dry rub wings as we have never seen those kinds on a menu before. They were amazing. The wings were crispy and juicy, while also not being greasy. They were seasoned to perfection, and came with a row of dipping sauces: (top to bottom) lemon pepper sauce, blue cheese, sweet Thai Asian sauce, and ranch. They were all a delicious pairing with the wings. As our mains, we both got the gateway smash burger with a side of fries. The burger was perfectly made with the right amount of sauce and the patties were smashed to lacy perfection. The outside was crispy, while also not being dry. The fries were also the right amount of crispiness and full of flavor. Overall, I highly recommend this burger. Think shake shack type of burger, but better sauce, patty, and all around better burger. For dessert, we weren't actually looking for anything! The owner/waiter so very nicely treated us to the chocolate mousse chimney! He knew what he was doing as it was DELICIOUS. Not overly sweet, creamy, and chocolatey goodness. read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with 3 friends and all I can say is WOW! There weren't too many people inside when we first arrived but it was kind of nice to be honest. There was only 1 person working the front but he was so on top of everything it worked. Super friendly and attentive. We started with the French onion bombs and Mac and cheese and I swear they were some of the best things I've ever eaten. Must try! The corn bread combined with the Mac and cheese was perfect. I loved the variety on the menu and I wish I could have tried it all. The drinks were also really good. You get what you pay for and the glasses were very pretty. For our main I got the Miami Vice (a Cuban sandwich), one friend the pasta, the other got avocado toast and the third the pulled pork brunch. Sooooo good!!! Then we got the mousse for dessert and it was also really delicious, great flavor and not too heavy. They have a parking lot in the back which is very convenient for this area. You don't have to worry about street parking. 10/10 and I can't wait to go back!! read more

This is a newer to Mount Kisco restaurant. Our family enjoyed it thoroughly the first time and went back a second time and ate overcooked steak and other orders coming out wrong. We went back a third time and it was so bad we will not be going back again. read more

With many restaurants to choose from in Mount Kisco and surrounding areas this has become my go to a couple times a week. Admitting, I arrived here because of a BOGO on Uber Eats. I went to pick up my order on a wet raining day and the place was empty. Two old guys at the bar but no one eating there. The place is old and blah on the inside. I asked for my order... for whatever malfunction my food wasn't ready. I waited 15 minutes for them to make my food and my reviews are: the smash burger was okay! Fries salty as fuck. The wings smelled good but was dry and EH. The quinoa bowl was hard old fried rice. Very Disappointed in this establishment. Firstly in any eatery the little things matter. No bread and then 30 min for it to come out after asking for it . The drinks are great but I did not go to a bar. I have been to every establishment in this location since 1998 and this by far is the worst. The meatballs were can specials. The vodka sauce was a bad jar version and the salmon was worst than some of the bad salmons I have had previously. The only plus will be if I don't get sick. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. I came here for my partners birthday. I can honestly say he loved his experience here, as did I. To start, he had a "Berry Naughty" cocktail and I had the "hanky panky." Phenomenal. Then we had the French onion soup bombs. Immediate crowd favorite. For dinner, I had the Korean fried chicken sandwich and my partner the pappardelle burrata. Both incredibly delicious. The highlight of this entire evening was the service. Chris , the owner, brought me a variety of sauces because I couldn't make up my mind what sauce I wanted for my French fries. The bartender, was so sweet. A welcome addition to the MT Kisco restaurant scene, The Getaway Car is not to be missed! The menu is extensive and varied... entrees, handhelds, salads, and small plates galore! The selection of wines, ciders, and beers is lovely. Their "craft tails" are original and may be infused with fresh fruit. My husband and I stopped in on a rainy Thursday afternoon; Chris Vega , the owner, greeted us warmly. Only opened for two months or so, The Getaway Car has a popular brunch menu as well. I had a glorious smash burger, two brisket patties smashed with pickles and onions and their special sauce....a potato bum embraced the burgers with a soft touch. My husband ordered the Banh Mi sandwich, slow roasted pork, pickled cucumbers, carrots and radish, cilantro and jalapenos with mirin habanero mayo on a Portuguese roll served with shoestring french fries. And those fries.... We could not stop eating them... crispy and thin, perfect! We will be back to try their salads, entrees, and the original "crafttails". The ambience of The Getaway Car is inviting as well. Two gas fireplaces on the wall were glowing gently when we entered. There is a long wooden bar that is separate from the dining area. Chris told us he will be having murder mystery nights as well as karaoke at times. We signed up to be notified regarding any special events he is offering!
